Cloud email problems   verifying account

This morning I have been unable to access my email on either my iphone or ipad.
I get the following error messages:-
The user name or password for 'Icloud are incorrect'
then I click on settings and it says my icloud is not verified and to check my email to verify, but I cant check my email as it wont let me in!!!
Does anyone have any ideas, I have tried changing my apple id to another email so that I can verify but that doesnt work either, I have also tried deleting my account.

As an additional step to this troubleshooting article, I would recommend that you try to log in to your email address listed in your iCloud account through a web browser in order to verify the account and continue using it. If you are having password issues as well, you can always go to iforgot.apple.com to reset your password and regain access to your account. Thanks for coming to the Apple Support Communities!

    They have then received the verify account email and clicked the link

    after verifying they are taken to the login screen and when try to login it just says the acount is not verified

    Can you please ask your customer to choose to send the verify e-mail again, and try to click on the verify link from this new e-mail? If it won't work even after this, can you please send an e-mail to [email protected] with the customer's Adobe ID (e-mail and password) that he tries to login with? Also, please include a reference to this forum thread.

  • BT Yahoo email problems (external accounts) June 2...

    I'm writing now in total frustration at BT Yahoo email!
    I've been using the latest version of BT Yahoo mail. A couple of days ago, a random error message started popping up about the external mail accounts I have registered on my "btinternet.com" email address, saying the password on all 5 external accounts were suddenly and inexplicably wrong, all at the same time! (This despite no changes to those accounts in any way, password or otherwise.)
    I re-entered all the passwords, saved them - but they didn't appear to be saved as the field (which would normally have asterisks in) were blank, and the error messages persisted, whenever I tried to do anything on my account.
    I then deleted a couple of Gmail accounts & tried to re-add them but this proved impossible - despite Yahoo showing that an email was being sent to the Gmail email, nothing was actually sent, so I couldn't verify or re-add the email to BT Yahoo as a result.
    I call Premium mail support & got hold of a chap who didn't seem to have a clue what I was talking about, despite careful clear explanations & saying that although I could log in & USE my account, it was extremely annoying to have these popups continually appearing.
    He then switched me back to the old version of BT Yahoo mail I've ever seen - and I've been with them for a loooong time! - and told me I have to use the old system as the new one (which I have been using bugs and all for at least 6 months) has too many errors and can't be used.
    THIS IS CR%P!!!!! I'm paying for this service ... What service???
    When I asked that they raise a ticket with Yahoo to find out when "beta" will be fixed, he said they have no way of contacting Yahoo, which I find extraordinary...
    *sigh* ok, rant over...
    Has anyone else had this problem with external accounts??
    Is anyone else experiencing this awful service? 
    Has anyone else been put back to an old crappy version of BT Yahoo email?
    Any sympathy or advice appreciated...

  • No email to verify account recieved

    I am new to icloud, I cannot use it until I verify it by e-mail. I have been asking for 3 days for it to be sent to my mail address, but still no mail.
    Is there a way round this.

    You should get a verification email from Apple and you need to clidk the Verify Now link on it (see below). 
    Make sure you are checking the email address you used to set up your iCloud account.  Check the spam/junk folder as well as the inbox.  If it isn't there, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Resend under your Primary Email Address to resend the verification email.

  • Email problems (multiple accounts) won't open

    Never had any issues on my Z Or Z1 with around 10 IMAP accounts. 
    Last year got my z2 tablet also running kitkat 4.4.4 and after setting up more than 4 accounts the email app just sits there appearing to work away (busy) to even display any emails. I get notifications of emails but never can access them. The list accounts is blank unless sometimes occasionally the app freezes and I close and then back into the accounts setting. But even when I eventually get a list of accounts to displayin settings, when I click on that account it doesn't open to allow deleting of the account.
    Have exactly same problem on my Z3 phone and by fluke I managed to get in and delete the 5th account such that the email app works normally. 
    I am a Sony fan. All phones, tablets, 4k Tv, AV receiver, ps4 etc But this issue is driving me tCrazy!!!
    I had secretly hoped that lollipop would help but no difference.  In fact Lollipop **bleep** (pardon the pun) big time!!!

    Did you click the Verify Now link in the verification email from Apple (see image below)?  If not, make sure you are checking the email address you used to set up your iCloud account.  Also make sure you check the spam/junk folder as well as the inbox.  If it isn't there, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Resend under your Primary Email Address to resend the verification email.

    Every time I start up my computer, I get a little box that says that Creative Cloud has problems verifying my membership. When my IT-person looks at his administrative page, he sees nothing wrong.

    I have checked your account and gone through your account and it should work fine.
    Can you please before launching the Cloud again, follow the steps below and then trying again to launch any Cloud apps :
    Clean up cached user login information.
    Close the Creative Cloud application.
    Navigate to the OOBE folder.
    Mac OS: /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
    Delete the opm.db file.
    Launch Creative Cloud.
    If you are not able to access to this library, please follow the link below :
    Access hidden user library files | Mac OS 10.7 and later

    The Email ID provided here has CC registered to it in active status. The Email also stands verified. Are you using any other Email ID ?
    Let me know if you are facing issue regarding verification by activating the Cc with the email ID provided here.

    If you do not have that information you will not be able to use the Device.

    Have you asked for another email to be sent to you. Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.

    Do you have a rescue email address on the account ? If you do then you've checked the inbox and spam folder on that email account as well ? If it's not there either, and you've tried requesting the reset email again, then you could try contacting Support in your country and see if they can re-enable the account for you.

    As these are public forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support,  I've asked the hosts to remove your email address from your post - it's not a good idea to post it unless you like spam email.
    The reset link will only show if you have a rescue email address on your account - a rescue email address is not the same as an alternate/secondary email address, they are different addresses/settings on an account.
    If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you won't get the reset option - you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

    When they've been reset you can then use the steps half-way down the page that you posted from to add a rescue email address for potential future use
