Cloud quarantine issues....any resolution?

Like other users n the forum, I am geting files quarantined on upload to the cloud, predominantly those related to email backups.
How do these get unquarantined and added to the backup?  These issues have been reported for over a year now but can't see that there's been any resolution?

  • MAJOR Creative Cloud installation issues - any advice?

    I purchased Adobe Photoshop a few weeks ago on an older computer and now want to install a second copy on a new computer (Mac Mini, brand new with plenty of memory and disk space)... I started by downloading Creative Cloud to install. On both Firefox and Safari, the link to install comes up as an 'address not understood...' Looks almost like a bogus link. If I skip this step and jump directly to Photoshop installation, it takes me to a page that asks me to click on the link to install Creative Cloud... and now I'm in a circle.  If I switch over and install Adobe Applications Manager, I get a message saying that the "Installer failed to initialize, please see Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem." When I click on the link in that box, the site tells me that the product is no longer available. I've been working on this problem for about three hours now, and every link I can find online to the Creative Cloud download goes to a bad address. I've also empties the browser cache, zapped the PRAM... all kinds of things. Still, no luck.  Anyone got an idea of what might be causing this? Install was so easy a few weeks back on my older Mac (both are running Mavericks most recent OpSystem....).
    Any ideas or suggestions greatly appreciated!

  • HH5 wifi speed fading issue - any resolution?

    Having trawled the forum here, it does seem that there is a recurring techinical problem with wifi speeds slowing over a time period, or drop-outs, that require a re-boot to solve.  
    It is a wifi issue, not wired or line problems. 
    It still occurs having unsynced the 5 and 2.4Ghz and given them different SSIDs
    And Smart setup is off.
    And automatic channel selection is off.
    This does seem to be specific hardware issue with the HH5, and others before it.  
    Has anyone found a succesful route to either get it replaced or get it fixed?

    no it won't - just result in a lower speed until the DLM sees line stable again and increases it which may be a few weeks

    I understand that when your Bluetooth accessories, such as your car connection, do not work as expected it can be very frustrating. In this situation, I would recommend working through the troubleshooting steps provided in the attached article.

    hopefully its just a software issue that way it can be patched in an ios update.
    i read somewhere that a "fix" is if you start to hear an echo then press the speaker button 2 times (1 turns it on the second turns it off). this should give you somewhere between 5 - 15 min of echo free talking

    it's definitely NOT the firmware update, as evidenced by the fact that i haven't installed either of the two recent firmware updates yet.

    I am facing following issue in cloud database
    Issue:  Altering any stored procedure in cloud database, Application throwing time out issue.
    If same stored procedure running in backend(SQL),it’s executing without delay i.e. executing in 3 sec, not sure what is happening.
    This is not happening on regular basis, After altering procedure if I wait for 15 to 20 minutes(not running any queries) then it will automatically get resolved.
    Please let me know if any fix is available for the above issue.

    It sounds like you are unable to launch iTunes due to this error message. I recommend removing iTunes with the following article to get iTunes AND its associated programs uninstalled:

    What settings did you change, what were the changes, have you visited www.icloud.com to see what mail is actually there? and do you have a backup?

    If you were going to be reading and writing to a NTFS System Partition, you might have to worry about the instability messing up the operating system.  However, you are reading/writing from a non system, backup device so you don't have to worry about screwing up an operating system.
    I would still temporarily move my data to another device and reformat the drive for Mac OS X Extended.

I can click on the "upload photos/video" field and it takes me to Finder to select the photo - but on selecting the photo, the Finder screen disappears as normal but from then on nothing happens.

    From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
    Click:  Remove All Website Data
    Now empty the Safari cache.
    Back to the menu bar, click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
    Select:  Show Develop menu in menu bar
    Now click Develop from the menu bar. From the drop down menu click Empty Caches.
    Quit and relaunch Safari then try Facebook.
    If that doesn't help, it may be a Safari extension preventing you from uploading content to Facebook.
    From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
    If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.

  • HOWTO: Can't display any resolution above 640x480, or other crappy res

    I've been working on this problem for half the day, and finally figured it out after many hours of frustration. During my search for a solution, I've seen other people who had the same problem but was never resolved on these forums. Rather than bumping an old post, I've decided to create this "howto" hoping that someone experiencing the same problem may find this post.
    The problem is that Xorg refuses to display any resolution above the minimum, which is 640x480. This was the resolution in my case, and searching around, it's the resolution many other people experienced, as well, who experienced this same problem.
    Check your Xorg log in /var/log/Xorg.0.log . Search for "No valid modes for". If you see something like this, then you are experiencing the same problem I had:
    (WW) NVIDIA(0): No valid modes for "1680x1050"; removing.
    (WW) NVIDIA(0): No valid modes for "1024x768"; removing.
    (WW) NVIDIA(0): No valid modes for "800x600"; removing.
    (WW) NVIDIA(0): No valid modes for "640x480"; removing.
    (WW) NVIDIA(0):
    (WW) NVIDIA(0): Unable to validate any modes; falling back to the default mode
    (WW) NVIDIA(0): "nvidia-auto-select".
    (WW) NVIDIA(0):
    In my case, this only occurred when I was using the nvidia driver (it went away when I just used nv).
    Ok, so here's how to solve the problem...
    Has your monitor worked with your machine before?
    If your monitor, graphics card, etc. has worked with your machine and xorg file in the past, and it suddenly stopped working without anything changing, then try rebooting your monitor. (I'm serious!) Log out, turn off your monitor, and unplug it for several seconds. Plug it back in and log back in. This ended up solving my problem, after I edited my xorg file (see below)... but just editing the xorg file and rebooting X wasn't enough
    If monitor rebooting didn't help, or you've never got your monitor/graphics card/xorg.conf working together in the past
    If this is the case, your xorg.conf probably isn't configured correctly. Assuming you already have a xorg.conf file (this post is NOT meant to replace the other howto's on how to configure your xorg file), here's the basic rundown of what your xorg file should have...
    Make sure that you have the "Modes" set in your Display subsection of Screen. Here's what my Screen section looks like:
    Section "Screen"
        Identifier     "Screen0"
        Device         "Card0"
        Monitor        "Monitor0"
        DefaultDepth   24
        SubSection     "Display"
            Depth      16
            Modes      "1680x1050" "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"

    (the line(s) in bold are the ones you need to make sure you have)
    If this still doesn't work, make sure that you have the appropriate Modeline set. I chose to make a Modes section like this:
    Section "Modes"
        Identifier  "16:10"
        Modeline    "1680x1050 (GTF)" 154.20 1680 1712 2296 2328 1050 1071 1081 1103
    EndSection
    Your Modeline probably won't look like mine. Hopefully, you know the specs of your monitor (or can look them up). You can use this tool to generate the Modeline for you:

    Finally, make sure that the Monitor section includes your HorizSync and VertRefresh options. These are values specific to your monitor (again, you'll need to look up your monitor's specs)
    Here's my Monitor section

        Option          "DPMS"
        UseModes        "16:10"
    EndSection
    Log out and log back in. If the problem persists, reboot your monitor as described above.

    You can plug a DVI-I dual link female into the DVI-I single male on a graphics card.
    From the outside, the male has all the holes for all the pins on the DVI dual, there are just no wires attached to the center group of the DVI single male.
    The Radeon 9800 is a DVI-I single link card. There is no getting around it.
    The maximum supported digital resolution for a Radeon 9800 is 1920x1200:

    Did you delete the hard copy of the songs from your computer after you uploaded them?
    If so just highlight the said songs and delete but do not check the box that says delete from iCloud and your songs should play fine. 
    This happens when the original file is moved from the location that itunes was looking for it at and if you did this because you uploaded it then it will still be in the cloud you just need itunes to read from cloud and not think it's supposed to be finding the original file

    There is another setting for "Start Conversation from", that needs to be set to phone number.
