Cloud service restored to the last production deployment
I've update production deployment yesterday morning then I've made changes to service files using remote connection
add and update files and everything was OK.
today morning all the changes I've done after deployment was undone and customers use the old version and this cost us hundreds of thousand of pounds
i need to know what's happen nothing appeared in operations log

As far as I know this is the reason, we could use remote connection to do some development or troubleshoot without redeploy our application, but I don't suggest you use it to update application in product, because the
cloud service will recover if the role needs to be recycled for whatever reason. I suggest you redeploy the application after make some changes

I've been working on and with a VS2013 Update 2 / Azure SDK 2.3 Cloud Service project for a while now and never had a problem debugging it (setting the .ccproj Project as Startup Project) but at the moment I cannot Debug it anymore - I always get the following
error message:
Failed to debug the Windows Azure Cloud Service project. The output directory 'D:\Workspace\Development\Sources\AzureBackend\csx\Backend - Debug' does not exist.
Now what's odd here, is the last part - the "Backend - Debug" is the Solution configuration name, ALL projects in that particular solution configuration are set to the Debug Configuration. The .ccproj file also only specifies Debug|Any CPU (and
Release|Any CPU respectively) as its output folder(s). Why is the Solution config appearing up there?
And more importantly.. why is this happening and what can I do?!

connect bug and these sorts of issues do appear around the forums but none contains a solution (neither reinstalling the Azure SDK nor cloaking the workspace/re-retrieving & building everything worked).Good morning Jambor,
I already tried de-installing everything Azure-Tooling related including the Azure SDK, Restarting my machine and re-installing the SDK.
Same result. I can build the .ccproj perfectly fine and the cspack file IS generated perfectly fine, only debugging does not work and there's NO information in the VS output window (again - all projects succeed to build).
I tried explicitely running VS as Administrator, no change. I removed all IIS Express sites (as the ccproj has one web worker role), remapped my local TFS workspace.. nothing helped.
As building works, deploying to Azure Cloud Service (manually and via Publish inside VS) all works -perfectly-, I am pretty sure this IS a bug and I'd LOVE to help to get this fixed. As I said, currently I cannot debug and/or run & test my work, hence

Overwrite mapping in design repository with the last one deployed

We have a Single Design Environment with 2 runtime environnment (Dev, Prod). When I log in the Dev Control Center, I see there is a mapping "changed". It has been changed by an employee who don't work here anymore and I have no clue what have been changed.
There is no specific request or obvious reason for that change, and since it's a huge and conplex mapping, I would like to overwrite (or "rollback") the mapping in the design environnment with the last one deployed in Production.
But I don't know how or if it's possible..! At least if I could compare the 2 version, I could tell if the change is good or not.
To me, it's a showstopper for incoming modifications..
There is no Snapshot and i'm using OWB 10gr2 since 1 month now, so all of these is new to me.
I really need help on this one...!
Thanks!one onerous way to do this is
take the mdl exports of the mapping from both envs. Try opening them in an xml/html text editor(notepad++ for eg)
If they look like they are encrypted, try renaming the .mdl file to .zip( I can do this in 11g and what this gives me is a .xml file and a .mdx file which can be viewed in an xml editor)
You can then possibly do a text comparison to find if anything is obviously different.
Another good option is something our friend Oleg developed.

This script extracts the mapping as an OMB script. You can then compare both mapping tcl outputs. -
My daughter accidentally reset her ipod4 to factory settings so I restored from the last iCloud backup. All her photos were on camera roll so I believe they should have automatically been backed up, but none have been restored. Why?
When she plugged in the ipod last night it backed up again so that now shows as the latest backup. No previous backups are listed so I do not seem to have the option to rerun the old one. She had many pictures on the camera roll taken from well before July. I can only presume that the backup in July must have been incomplete - but then I didn't think it was supposed to list as an option to restore from. Luckily many of the photos had been backed up on the pc but I am very frustrated as to why the icloud backup didn't protect them. Thank you for your advice though, I appreciate it.

I backed up my phone on i cloud and now I am trying to set up my new Iphone 5 from the i cloud. I have got all my data and some very important numbers in the last back up.
Now when I try to back up from the i cloud it is saying back up incomplete. PLease guys I need some help in order to restore the data back on to my phone.
Many thanks.If you get the error "Backup not successful" and you've tried deleting the last backup and trying to back up manually without luck, try the following test: Go to...
Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>manage Storage, tap your device name in the Backups section, then look under Backup options. Turn off all apps from backup and then do a manual backup. If that doesn't work, then this post will not help. If the backup works, then go back to the app list and turn some on and try another backup. If successful, keep repeating these steps. If it fails at some point, then try to zero in on the one app that seems to make the backup fail. (I had this problem and found one app failing, probably due to a corrupt data file.)
This process will take time, but if a backup works with no app data being used but clearly fails with the original settings, then somewhere in the mix of apps is a "bad" one. -
i locked myself out of my ipod and i tryed unlocking it and then the "ipod is disabled" remark shoowed up. I knew what to do to restores it but in the last one minute of restoring a message popped up and said something about it cant finish it and the connectioned timed out. I tried this at my buddies house and it did the same. Ieven my freind (whos very good in electronics and computers) couldnt do it, i need help is there anyway possible?
Try disabling the computer's antivirus and firewall.

TS2529 itunes does not let me restore from the last backup of my recently upgraded to 5.1 iphone
I recently updated from 4.2.1 to 5.1 and now itunes does not show me the "restore from the backup of..." option. It doesn't even let me restore from any backup. I found the backup in the library and made a backup of it just in case. How can I restore from this backup if Itunes doesn't give me the option?

go to iTunes/Settings and see if "Apps" is selected in General/Show:
If yes, your App folder should be listed under "library" in the left window in iTunes again.
There is no extra App folder listed when you click on your device in the device list.

I recently had to replace my ipod touch. The old one had a broken button and would not change the screen correctly. Apple gave me a new ipod and told me all I needed to do was update the new ipod from the itunes which I had backed up prior to getting the new one. When I did the sync , the info for my contacts was giving me names and addresses from all over the place except the itunes. Can I retrieve info from a previous sync or only to the last sync that was made?
Yes I did. When installing the new ipod it had to update the software, then it sync'ed the information onto the new ipod. The contacts were not the original ones, and all the phone numbers have dissappeared. Is there any way to recover them?

How to select which cloud service to save the contact everytime I am adding a new contact
What I really love about android is that you can choose which account to save contacts every time you are adding a new contact right in the "New Contact" form.
Since I changed my phone from beloved nexus 5 to iPhone 5S (Just kidding) I could not this feature in iPhone contact. It is only possible to choose your default contact service from setting, but what I need is that AS I am adding new contact I get to change the destination for this contact if I want.
Thanks GuysYou can set up groups for your contacts but you need to log in to www.icloud.com on your computer and do it in settings there. Other than that I am not aware of any way to achieve what you want

Regards5000 KM once is the planned one. If you are sending at 6000 KM or 6500 KM, this is unplanned one. System will not consider the unplanned orders. So its not possible to have at 11000 KM automatically.
Either you have to create new Maintenance plan starts with 6000 KM with the cycle of 5000 KM & deactivate the old plan. -

How do I connect two VMs in the same cloud service?
I want to setup a DB cluster with two VMs in a single cloud service. My DB (Couchbase) requires being able to reference the other nodes by IP address or hostname. Since VMs change their IP everytime they restart I can't use that, and as far as I can tell

Virtual machines must be in a cloud service, which acts as a container and provides a unique public DNS name, a public IP address, and a set of endpoints to access the virtual machine over the Internet. The cloud service can optionally be in a virtual network.
If a cloud service is not in a virtual network, the virtual machines in that cloud service can only communicate with other virtual machines through the use of the other virtual machines’ public DNS names, and that traffic would travel over the Internet.
If a cloud service is in a virtual network, the virtual machines in that cloud service can communicate with all other virtual machines in the virtual network without sending any traffic over the Internet.
If you place your virtual machines in the same standalone cloud service, you can take advantage of load balancing and availability sets. For details, see

Here is an example using the Azure Management Portal.
To connect virtual machines in a standalone cloud service:
Create the cloud service for your deployment in the Azure Management Portal with
New > Compute > Cloud Service > Custom Create.
When you create the virtual machine, specify the name of cloud service created in step 1. Alternately, you can create the cloud service for your deployment when you create your first virtual machine.
Here is an example using the Azure Management Portal for the existing cloud service named EndpointTest.

Today I tried to upload a package to the Windows Azure staging cloud service enviroment. The service hangs on deploying.
I can not delete or update this. I get this error

I got my iphone last year and It was working just fine until June of this year and I didn't notice it until I tried plugging my iphone into my computer to get more songs on it. Error message came up saying that it was unable to backup iphone because an error occurred. So I did some research and tried to delete old backups and restore to the last one. After all that it still won't back up and some of my apps just don't work, thought the new ios would help but it did not. Everything works fine its just that I want to be able to back my phone up and I haven't been able to sync June. Any help would be appreciated.For your computer first get iTunes to see it by:
