Cloud Touch up tool

I have used Photoshop Elements 7. Now I am using Photoshop Elements 11. I can't find the clouds touch up icon that was in the Quick Edit menu. I also can't find the paintbrush with the gear. Is there any place on adobe website's where it shows where icons are and what they mean? I've found the render filter clouds but don't seem to know how to use it.

If you are paying the monthly fee, then you should be able to download AICC from the Creative Cloud management app.

Indesign cc - Touch type tool

I just installed Id CC. Can't find the Touch type tool. Under the tekst tool, I only have regular tekst and tekst on a path. Can anyone help me? Btw, I have the Dutch version.

Touch Type tool is not a part of InDesign ( as stated in Heading) but is new feature in Illustrator.
Install Illustrator, update to 17.1 and you should be able to use it there.

Creative cloud photoshop blur tool not work as it should be

creative cloud photoshop blur tool not work as it should be !
I go to blur a painting i am doing and it does not blur enough and I am using wacom Intuos 5 med pen tablet.
and I even set the tablets sensitivty for pressure lower then default and still not getting the blur tool to do its job.
I even adjusted the brush settings too to be able to blur even more on hard settings, still nothing.
at least it not bluring enough to see any major changes.
the only way i can blur anything is by using the fliters blur or the brushes ( mixer brush ) settings to mix colors and do it that way.
(note) I will not post my systems specs sorry I don't do that and even the tech from adobe said I do not have to. and so I wont !
just need advise not to share system specs.
and thats what this forums board is for getting advice and read what others say about the issue at hand.

Hi,
It might be your image is too big in terms of pixel dimensions for the blur tool to work well.
If you zoom to 100% do you see any change when using the blur tool?
What are the pixel dimensions of the image?
(Image>Image Size)
If you try a small image, does the blur tool work?
What about when you use the mouse instead of your tablet?
Can you at least tell us what operating system and version of photoshop your using?

Touch up tool

Hi there,
there is a problem I come across quite often with the Touch up tool in adobe acrobat 8 professional which is remove/add characters from a document. Specifically this time I am trying to remove a dot from a bullet list which partially disappear after tagging the document. There's only one dot left and I tried to use the touch up tool to remove. The touch tool loads fine but when I try to use it it comes up with
a message saying: "All or part of the selection has no available system font. You cannot add or delete text using the currently selected font." I attached the message and the document I am trying to modify (on the top right there's a red box with a list containing: indoor rowing, dance, aerobics, kurling - which has a white dot which I want to remove). Can anybody tell me why that happens and if there is a workaround?

I have encountered the same problem, a simple workaround is to highlight the text (in touchup mode), right click and hit Properties. The properties screen will allow you to change the font to one that you have.(See screenshot attached) Once you do this, you can then delete the text. But note that you can't change the font back (as you don't have it).
If you need to add or edit moret ext you may need to this to the whole document, otherwise you'll have different fonts in the pdf.

Touch up tool - Full document selection

It seems I can't select all, and use the Touch up tool to change the size of all my text at once.
Is there any way around this?
I am currently scanning old journal pages into pdf (through scansnap [Fujitsu scanner) and using acrobat 7, then converting to word to do a bit of editing where needs be. ( journal was typed and printed from pc in the past), biggest issue I am having is text converting over strangely, all sorts of fudged up symbols being generated etc.
But I did notice when I enlarge the text, and change it all to arial font via the touch up tool, that it converts over much better when I save as .doc
I just need to be able to select 30-50 pages at a time, being that doing one page at a time would take forever when I have over 2000 pages to go.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

If you want to better conversion provide a better scan. Scan at 300-400 dpi. Scan to tiff and import the tiff.

Text touch-up tool in Acrobat 9 not working

Does anyone know if this is a glich in CS4 or if I'm doing something wrong. When I click on the text touch up tool in Acrobat 9 (comes with CS4), nothing happens. The arrow doesn't change into a text tool so there's no way to fix text in a PDF.

Do you have text, or a picture of text? If you take the tool over text it should change to an Ibar. If you hold down the ctrl key and place the cursor, you should get an Ibar waiting for you to enter text at that location. If it is simply a graphic, you will only get an arrow.

Infix vs Touch Up Tool

Just an FYI, for any of you who are struggling with the Text Touch Up Tool when the text is oddly linked between different blocks, give Infix a try. Infix is an excellent PDF editor that my company uses at times for pdf reporting needs. Monthly, it saves us hours of headaches and fixes what we need fixed quickly and painfree. The ability to edit or move text without other text jumping on you is essential for us and could be for you too. Its easy to use and you can download it right from their website. Give it a shot!

Text Touch Up Tool

I want to edit just one word in a scanned text document. I used the OCR text recognition first and then selected the Text Touch Up Tool. I then highlighted the one word and a cursur was displayed which made me think I could edit the word. When I tried to backspace to delete the word the cursor moves along the line of the word but nothing happens, nothing is deleted. If I try to type the cursor advances but none of the characters are displayed. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks!

If you're using Acrobat 9, you'll need to select Clearscan in the Recognize Text Setting menu. This will allow you to utilize the Touch Up Text tool to make changes to the document. However, note that you'll need to change the font from the custom fonts to a font that is available on your computer.

Touch Type tool isn't showing up in Illustrator CC

This function was supposed to be available mid-June. Still, it isn't available or showing in my Illustrator CC, in the "T" type options.
I really want this function! Where or when is it available???

Character panel shows all t he old standards, no touch-type icon. Also, though the type tool shows, and behind it are several options, the Touch-type tool is not one of them.

Touch up tool stops working

Hello everyone.
Strangest thing keeps happening to me. From time to time the touch up tool simply doesn't work on some photo's. If I try a different photo it is fine. Go back to the one it didn't work on, and it still doesn't work. But, if I clone the photo using "duplicate version from master" it starts working on the duplicated version.
Using version 2.12. Anyone else experience this?

Touch pen tool appearance

How can I get the touch pen tool to appear on a file if I'm opening an image. It only appears now when I open a blank work space.

What happens if you File>Place (the PDF contents, if any, of) the troublesome file in a new document, then try the Pen Tool?
If that works, you most likely have a corrupt file.
One thing often tried first is to create a new document and File>Place the (PDF contents, if any of the) corrupted one, as already suggested above, to see how much may be rescued that way.

Missing buttons perspective distort and touch type tool

Hi all -
I'm new to Illustrator and using video tutorials tutorials to learn my way around CS6. I've encountered two buttons in tutorials that I can't find anywhere on my workspace (I'm in layout): perspective distort and touch type.
Perspective distort: In the tutorial, when you click on the free transform tool a box pops up with 4 different options (constrain, free transform, perspective distort, free distort) - that box is not popping up. For reference: Transform artwork | Adobe Illustrator CC tutorials (approx 1:10). On my end there are no additional buttons for free transform.
Touch type: In the tutorial it has reference the touch type tool being in two different locations: in the character panel and in the type tool. No touch type tool anywhere in sight for me.
Suggestions?

Tool "Touch type Tool" cool and long awaited feature. Well done and thank you team Adobe illustrator.
Missing:
1. The shift key to move the font in fixed axis.
2. The ability to select more than one character at a time adn edit.
