Greetings,
I don't know if I am posting this in right place, if this is not correct, can you please sheppard me to the right spot??
This is JD on a trip in Bolivia and my Palm Access software on my laptop keeps shutting down the datebook mode and does not save any data.
No problems with hotsnyching, just when I am working on the laptop solo.
Mostly it does this whn I am switching btw months.
I tried to download the 6.2 (?) version of the software, but it did not help.
It says it is sending a message to microsoft, but nothing has come back about ho wto repair the problemo.
Can someone help?

Try to uninstall and reinstall the Palm Desktop program from your computer. Do you know how to do that or should I post instructions here?

Bolivia: expiring date for issuing billing document

Hi gurus,
there is a singular requirement in Bolivia which consists of a date in which a certain billing document has to be issued according to several variables, e.g, the number range issued by the Local tax agency.
Is there in VBRK a field which could fit such requirement? if not, is there any standard field which could be added to VBRK? Otherwise, there is no more option than configuring a header text where user can update this date or as per standard texts in SO10 which can be called from the billing form, bearing in mind that this "expiring date" lasts at least for one year.

In VBRK, as for as date fields are concerned, to my knowledge all fields (pricing date, billing date etc) would be filled in from a predecing document and no date field would be left with blank which I am not sure as right now, I dont have access to SAP. Nevertheless, there would be some unutilized fields which you can check and make use of that. Having said this, you can achieve this with the help of billing exit.

In Bolivia + want to buy cds and add songs to my iPod.... using random cpts

I am currently traveling in Bolivia and I want to add new songs to my iPod (60gig photo... recieved as a gift Christmas ´04). I don´t have my computer with me so I will have to download iTunes in an internet cafe and go upload the music into the same computer....
With my computer I think I had selected automatic update.
I have been told that I have to plug in my iPod and when iTunes recognizes my iPod I have to quickly click on the iPod icon and then switch the setting to manuel update...
Someone else told me that in the newer versions of iTunes this is not the case.... you can switch this before you connect your iPod...
I still have another 9 months of travel and I would be devistated if I lost my entire library of songs....
Can someone walk me through this???

Please clarify what you mean. Do you already have an iPhone? If so, and it came from the US and is (presumably) carrier locked, you're out of luck. NONE of the US carriers will unlock iPhones. There are no exceptions.
The unlocked iPhone 4S is not yet available in US Apple retail stores. All phones sold at retail in the US are currently carrier locked.

I was using adobe sendnow until now although at this time I came to Bolivia from Belgium. I can not send a file any more and can not suscribe either What can I do to keep on sending files?

Got everything to re-install and it worked fine...for a few hours. Then I came in to find ALL of my network users deleted. Just GONE. Then found out the Open Directory was trashed and was unable to open, recover or restore from a backup. Looks like I may have a bad drive here.
I installed a new drive in the system, re-installed and so far (for a couple of hours anyway) the system seems to be working and stable.

How to use two sets of books with one responsibility

Does anyone know if it is possible to run reports in the General Ledger business area of the Oracle EUL against two or more sets of books with the same responsibility? For example, I want a regional finance manager to be able to run a Discoverer GL report for both Bolivia and Peru using their South America GL Manager responsibility. It looks like you can do that for AR using HR security profiles but I'm not sure how to do it for GL. Thanks.

Hi,
There are two types of security: business areas security which allows a user to access the folders in a BA and is controlled through Discoverer; and data security which filters the data returned in the report. The data security is usually implemented as a condition in the views mapped in the EUL, though it can be implemented as mandatory conditions in the EUL. The data security is controlled by Application system profiles.
In your case you will have conditions in the database views which only returning data for the set of books defined in the profile for the current responsibility. To bypass this security so that a responsibility can report on multiple sets of books you need to create new folders in the EUL that map onto database view or tables that do not have the data security.

Hello everybody. I am a web designer (NOT a developer)
I created a form and I'm not sure how to make the 'submit' button send me the collected information.
I have used phpform.org/ to custom build a submission form. Then I opened that html in dreamweaver (so that I could edit colors, fonts, and delete the phpform.org advetisement)
Now I need to link the 'submit button' so that it will e-mail me the completed form.
(formphp.org wants me to subscribe to a servie that I pay for in order to have the form e-mailed to myself.)
(after I get the submit button linked to an e-mail I will pull the html of my completed form into Muse- but I don't think that is really relevent)
I'm sure one of you can help point me in the right direction! I can't write my own code so detailed help is appreciated!

I'm afraid not.    It's not rocket science but you need to do some coding.
You'll need to find a script (php) and save it to your local site folder. Then reference the script in your form's action attribute like so.
     <form action="path/form-to-email-script.php" >
The input fields in your HTML form need to exactly match the script variables.
I'm assuming you're hosted on a Linux server which uses PHP code. Linux servers are also case sensitive, so upper case names are not the same as lower case names. It's usually best to use all lower case names in your form and script to avoid confusion.

Why does a utube video show on my MacBook Pro, but not on my iPad?

My MB Pro runs Mavericks, ver.10.9.4, my iPad is an iPad4 ver. 7.1.2 (11D257), Model: MD512B/A, 64GB Retina. Browser: Firefox ver 32.0.1
I use iWeb 3.0.4 (601) to run my website: http://www.lakesweddingmusic.com
On my website, I have three uTube videos, which run perfectly fine on my laptop, but one of them - the first one on the site, with the picture of a bride - refuses to load on my iPad. I have used exactly the same method for importing the HTML code for all the videos, yet the first video just will not appear on the iPad for some reason. I have no idea why this should be the case. When I first uploaded the video to uTube and imported the code to iWeb, it worked for a while, but now - nothing.
Any help would be most appreciated.

Apparently my first response was off in left field. The DVD player has its own code. My recommendation is to change the code when it asks. It is possible that the disks that play correctly are region-free and the ones that don't have a region code. If this does not work, you still have four more changes available; you won't be stuck with the new code.
