Clustering Configuration for Hyperion Products

Hi,
We have requirement to configure cluster enivronment for hyperion products.
In Machine A(Linux) -Shared services,Workspace,Planning and weblogic
In Machine B(Windows) -FDQM,HFM,FR and Machine C(Linux)-Oracle DB.
Please let me know how to configure the cluster for all the produts.

Websphere Express Installation 5.1.2 for Hyperion products on Windows

My clients wants to install Websphere Express 5.1.2 on Windowsmachine. Has anyone ever installed websphere express 5.1.2 ? Any steps,pointers would be appreciated. Level of complication etc.

Is Oracle Configuration Manager Available for Hyperion Planning Servers?

The "My Oracle Support" site (https://support.oracle.com) describes the values of installing the Oracle Configuration Manager on servers.
Question: is this available for the Hyperion products or just Oracle databases? If available for Hyperion products, does it add value to tech support?
Any comments would be appreciated.

This is partially correct. If you user12136418 are looking for a way to monitor health automatically and get access to web ex session technical support from one console OCM is a great tool. The fact that it is not a thick client in nature nor a windows service makes it ideal for having agents monitor network traffic SNMP and still have all hyperion health monitored without having to run a tool like SCOM. I have been waiting for this tool for a year . Now if only Hyperion would work with IE8. But we all can not have egg in our beer.

Error in Contract: "Configuration for product is missing"

Hi Experts,
I have a problem with configurable products in CRM 7.0.
I defined a product like configurable setting the flag "Configurable Product" in material master data.
Also, using the "Product Models" functionalities, I created a very simple configuration for my product, adding a set of selectionable characteristics.
So I tried to create a Contract and I inserted in "Item" assignment block my configurable product. The result was that the system gave me the error "Item 10: Configuration for product is missing".
I hoped to find in Contract the configuration that I set for my product.
I think that I lost a step, but I don't know where.

I had a lot of errors on my quotation. To see the configuration I needed to solve all the errors before.

Oracle has not certified Hyperion products on virtualized servers

Hyperion's official stance:
Oracle has not certified Hyperion products on virtualized environments;
I'm surprised that there are users in this forum who are using VMware instead of physical servers. If you run into a bug, Oracle tech support require you to replicate that bug in physical servers before they will help you.
Also, consultants tell us that data has been known to be lost by virtual servers.
Has anyone good results from running Planning and Essbase on VMware?

When a customer logs a previously unreported issue, Oracle Support may require the issue to be diagnosed in a non-virtualized environment when there is reason to believe that the virtual environment is a contributing factor. Oracle Support may refer customers to the third-part virtualization vendor for issues that can not be duplicated in non-virtualized environments.
When a problem has been previously reported and a resolution is available, Oracle support will recommend the appropriate solution on the non-virtualized OS. If that solution does not work in the virtual environment, the customer will be referred to their virtualization software vendor for support. If the customer demonstrates that the Oracle solution does not work when running on a non-virtualized OS, Oracle will resume support, including logging a bug with Oracle Development for investigation if required.
While Oracle’s Hyperion products are expected to function properly in virtual environments, there may be performance implications, which can invalidate Oracle’s typical sizing recommendations. An analysis should be performed within the context of the specific application to be hosted in the virtual environment to mitigate potential resource contention, as this can result in degradation of performance and scalability, particularly under peak load.

When trying to install itunes on windows 7 i got a configuration data for this product is corrupt?

It is not allowing me to install, it gives me the error: configuration data for this product is corrupt. How do I install itunes on my windows 7?
Trying to update my ipad....but I first need to install itunes!!

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

These are broadly the requirements for settling production variances:
1.) The production variances first need to be calculated in CO-PC.
2. Your PA transfer structure must contain assignments of variance categories to COPA value fields.
3. In the settlement profile, you define the variances to be settled and profitability segments should be a valid receiver.
4. The settlement rule to profitability segments is created automatically based on the information available in the production order (product, product group, plant and so on).
5. You must have maintained number ranges for record type "C".
6. The desired form of Profitability Analysis (costing based) must be active in the relevant controlling area.

I have found the IDoc for Production Order
Messgae Type : LOIPRO and IDoc type : LOIPRO01
Actually my requirment is to send the (LOIPRO01 )IDoc from SAP R/3 to XI system ,when ever the Production Order Created and Changed,
I have done following Configurations:
1. RFC Destination created for XI system
2. PORT was created for XI
3. Partner profile created WE20 and LOIPRO01 IDoc is added in OutBound Perameter.
I need to know how to do the followning.
1. How do i configure the outbound Production order idocs when Production Order is created or changed.
2. in NACE (Output control) which is the Application for Production Order.
3. How can I set IDoc as output Type for Production Order Creation.

I know that it is the old thread but still want to get clarified from you out of curiosity.
Unlike other IDOC, i actiavated change pointers for LOIPRO
1.message and idoc type is linked
2.function module , message type , idoc type is linked
function module used is CLOI_MASTERIDOC_CREATE_LOIPRO
3.BD64, distribution model is created and distributed
4. port and partner profile is in place.
5. IDOC is not getting generated after creating the process order.
do we need to activate the change documents for the message type in BD52,
if yes can you please provide the object types for the same.
or i am missing something else. please guide me in this regards.

Java 1.4.2_03 Windows: The configuration data for this product is corrupt.

Trying to install j2SE 1.4.2_03 JRE on a Windows system (exact version needed for a bussiness application) after all previous Java installations have been deleted and all Windows Registry Java related keys have been manually deleted with Regedit.exe.
The EXE installer works properly in other machines but in this one it stops after a few seconds with the following message:
"The configuration data for this product is corrupt. Contact your support personnel".
The problem is related to the Windows install mechanism rather than the Java installer itself and likely caused by the manual Registry deletion.
The error code is 1610: ERROR_BAD_CONFIGURATION.
Reinstalling Windows didn't fix the problem.
Unable to recover the system to a previous state with the System Recovery Tool (Accesories/System Tools).
Other versions of Java installers fail the same way and show the same message.
I don't know how to contact "my support personnel" nor who they are.
I'd appreciate any help about this problem or what Java installers need within the Registry to work or a clue of any kind.

A new downloaded copy of the file or other versions of Java failed to install with the same error message.
I've learned there is a product ID in the registry that must be present for the installer to run. I'm searching for this "mysterious" product ID and how to set the right Windows XP Registry entry for the JSE 1.4.2_03 version.
I'm still not sure this will fix the problem.

OUTPUT Type Configuration for Production Order.
Doubt in third Point
We have found the IDoc " LOIPRO01 " for Production Order
(Please confirm that this IDoc can be used for outbound IDoc for Production Order)
And foloowing
1. Defining the Output Type for Particular Application.
 T-Code: NACE
A. Output type have created upder application "ME" description : "Inventory Management"
B. " ZEDI " created for getting output as EDI type
 ZEDI is copied from "WF01" output type. and
 Transmision mediam as "EDI"
 Program : RSNASTED
 Form Routine : EDI_PROCESSING
 (Please confirm is this for IDoc creation)
2. Partner profile creation:
A. Partner profile created under logical system and
B. and In outbound parameter declared as "LOIPRO"(This is for sending the IDoc "LOIPRO01" to XI system).
3. Customization for output type for Proction Order -- (For CO02,CO08) ---
 A. But only one functional customization is remaining to do, for getting the IDoc while saving the Production Order in T-Code "CO02" and "CO08"
 For Example:
 in sales order transaction va02 (in DBI 450 client) and select any Sales order.
 & select following menu path.
 Extras --- > Output -
> Header -
> output
 Here we can set our output type "that U defined in NACE Transaction-Code"
 Like the same way I want to set output type for CO02, CO08 transaction.
But I couldn't find the menu Item in Co02 and Co08 for setting the output.(like VA03)
Please help me out for setting the output type for Production Order Creation.
