CM25 : automatic dispatching outside basic dated

Dear.
When I try to do an automatic dispatch of a production order I need that the po can be dispatched forward outside the basic date. Actually in my settings the automatic dispatching is executed only inside the basic date. Only with a manual drag and drop i can dispatch forward outside.
Can you help me in order to solve my problem ?

In the dispatching control u can remove operation date check indicator and regarding the termination indicator SAP help says"
"if you have not set this indicator then dispatching is not terminated but carried out without taking the production version into account. That means that the planned order is scheduled with the old standard values and the formulas from the new work center and dispatched to the new line."
Please check if it works now.

Automate 'transfer of basic dates to forecast dates'

Hi Experts
I wish to have automatic transfer of Basic dates to FRC at the time of changing the status of Project definition to REL.
So that, after release i will prohibit the transfer of basic to FRC. This is required to retain original scheduled dates in FRC.
So, is there any userexit to build code for trigger transaction 'transfer basic to FRC' at the time of status change of PD?
Or you may suggest any new idea in this regards

I am not sure if there is a standard way to do this, if anyone knows it please share your knowledge,
There are several ways to obtain this , but all of them envolve development :
- You can use this BADI ( if you are at least in 4.6 C) --> WORKBREAKDOWN_UPDATE ( method AT_SAVE)
- You can create an event for object BUS2001 when it is released and the you have to program to copy from one date to another date
- If possible you can use standard substitution (OPSN transaction) but you have to develop your requirement.

CM25 : automatic rescheduling of dispatched orders

Dear guru ,
In CM25 for a work center all the production orders are dispatched with a specific sequence.
Some of these production orders have a backlog of capacity load.
I want to reschedule all the production orders in advance starting today and I want to maintain actual sequence.
I donu2019t want to deallocate all the production orders and dispatched again.
Does exist a function that execute an automatic rescheduling of dispatched orders ?

Automatic dispatch of Planned Order - Reg.,

Here i'm trying to dispatch a planning order automatically, when a work center capacity got fully loaded. What is the necessary settings has to be done?

Dear ,
When you are dispatching the operation for Planned Order /Production order in that day , system checks the availble capacity load in that work centre .If required capacity is not avalaible based on the work centre available capacity (Capacity Tab-Available capacity -Check overload CM05 for workcentre in that week) , operation will not be dipatched and Scheduling logg will be created
.I suggest that you need to check the Available Capacity (can be viewed weekly /monthly -Select the weekly grid -double click -system will dipaly the daily load in a week ) of the work centre and then go back to CM25 with your work centre -select Overall Profile -Enter Work centre -Strategy -Mark "Date Entry while dispatching " which will hel you to dipatch the date based available capacity CM05.Or else try to use CM21-Graphical view (goto -settings-scale-daily split -chek the available capacity date -dispatch.
In CM01/CM05 , please enter Plant /Work Centre in CM05-Hit DETAIL Capacit list or Varibale View -it will display with weekly bais capcity set up based on the .Select the week where this date fall on or If you want to look the daily baisi load , then goto Planning tab-Profile-Option Profile -select as appropirate to analysis the load daily /weekly

1. Settings for Available Capacity
2. Setting for Capacity requirements
3. Settings for Capacity evaluation and leveling
1.Materials Master define the Production scheduler and production scheduling profile
2.Work Center - Define the capcity planner group,activate checkbox Relevant for Finite sceduling,on the capacity header define the shift timings,break timings and unit of measure,no of individual capaity, enter formula for scheduling in capacity view.
3.Routing - enter the values for the standard values. Use control key with scheduling.
4.In transaction OPU5 and OPU3Z - define the scheduling parameters for planned order and productiion orders and activate the checkbox Capacity requirement and Scheduling. what is the settings in OPPQ and OPPR for the "Start in Past" parameter, you need to keep them consistent with the OPU5 settings.
Capacity Setup :
Define time profile in OPD2.
Define the strategy profile in OPDB
Define the Overall profiles in OPD0.
In the order control OPJK I have maintained check capacity with SAPSFCG013 profile.
Define Scheduling parameters for Production orders-OPKP-Maintain Capacity Checked /Finite Scheduling Cheked /Scheduing Type -BW/FW .

Automatic Extrapolation of Basic Date to WBS

Hi,
What setting to be done in SPRO, So that everytime scheduling is done, basic dates are extrapolated to higher level WBS element and to next level WBS with "Open Planning Scheduling Metod". Adjust Basic Dates is selected.

Yes, you can, the transaction CM40 can do that, please click the button 'Program documentation Shift+F1) to read the detail.
Please make sure that the field 'Dispatch' is ticked on in the section 'Action'.

Here is what I did, it may save you some time:
open the terminal app
1) Download the source code, apply the patch (I got the source code links from the ntp site)

BAPI or FM to DISPATCH PLANNED ORDERS

HI Gurus,
We have a requirement to automatically dispatch planned orders instead of manually going to CM25/CM21 screen to manually do it.
Is anybody aware of any BAPIs, FMs or anything to be able to dispatch planned orders.
I was going to use BDC but the table control has restricted me to do this.

Automatic Clearing - Customer Account

Hi All,
is there a way in SAP to clear the customer open items automatically for the below scenario
Invoice : 3750
Credit Meo - 500
I want the system to clear the above mentioned line items based on certain pre-defined parameter and for the difference i.e., 3250 create a residual item.
Please suggest if you have solution other than manual clearing F-32

Hi,
For automatic clearing the basic condition in SAP is that the total of the items to be cleared should be zero, which is not in your case. So the automatic clearing can not be done.
However you can create your custom program to clear of the credit items againest debit items by calling F-32 in batch mode. This program can then be run in periodic batch job mode.

We are doing a proof of concept and want to know all the ODS with data. We want to build an end to end (Shopping cart, approval, Doc flow, PO data with value, Invoice data with Value) and struggling to understand the model surrounding this three ODS ( 0bbp_inv, 0bbp_ds, 0bbp_po). Any help in this area will be appreciated.

Dispatch an operation of a PM order

Hi Experts,
Could you tell me if a BAPI, FM, Method or anything else can be used to dispatch an operation of a PM order?
Here is the need:
Our customer uses the Planing Board (CM25) to dispatch operations of PM orders.
When the related work can't be executed on field, corresponding operations need to be dispatched a second time (at another time and day).
Currently we simply add a constraint on the StartPoint date/time and change the status of the operation to DSPT. But this doesn't take into account the workcenter capacity. So it can result to workcenter capacity overload.
For that pupose I'm looking for a standard FM or BAPI or ... that can do the job.
I think the following information should be sufficient to make the dispatching: Order nr, Workcenter, operation, day, time.
I found some threads about his on SDN forums but none answer my question.

Hi Philippe,
So you want to reschedule considering available capacity. That is exactly what dispatching in the planning table does.
If you were to re-dispatch the operation dependent upon the availability of capacity, it may not end up at day + 2. It may be shifted to some other time in the future, assuming you have search in the forward direction as your strategy. So is your intent simply to "throw" it forward somewhere or is it a hard requirement that it is re-scheduled for today + 2? I presume you know how to change the operation details programatically.
For the sake of the following, I presume that the order operations to be re-scheduled were once dispatched in the planning table.
So why don't you explore the following:
Why don't you collect all the order operations together and undispatch (deallocate) them with Transaction CM40 in background? and then after you have changed their dates to day + 2, reschedule them, then dispatch them with CM40 again in background?
By using an appropriate profile, you can specify the appropriate work centres and the order operations belonging to them that need dispatching. say profile SAPPM_G006 - define the plant and workcentre on the first screen, then the orders on the filter screen.
If you feel like a little more of a challenge, you can review the coding of RCCYMAB2, particularly the subroutine EXECUTE_MASS_DISPATCHING, which shows all the details. Unless you are really confident, I'd stick with the transaction CM40 if I were you and set the objects and filter according the definition of your overall profile to define the order operations you wish to dispatch / undispatch.
I should point out that CM40 is designed to let the system do a first cut dispatch for all the requirements on a workcentre prioritised according to the strategy sort key. In your case you don't want (I don't think you want) to deallocate and then dispatch all non-dispatched requirements - just those of the particularl order operations. That is why the filter is necessary to further restrict which order operations are to be processed. You could also use the selection schema as well, selecting those with user status NOEX.

Capacitity leveling - Dispatching production order considering PM block

Dear friends,
I am trying to dispatch a production order of large Qty by using transaction CM21.
The order will take 15 days to complete.
Two days are blocked by plant maintenance order on that work center in future. They are shown as black in CM21.
When I try to dispatch, system is automatically dispatching the order in such a way that its end date is before PM block date or start date is after PM block date.
e.g. Order will run from 10th August to 25th august.
PM has blocked dates 20 & 21st August.
Hence the expected result is start the order on 10th and will end on 27th.
But when I dispatch the order on 10th, system automatically takes it to 22nd (First day after PM block).
Can we not plan orders with PM block period in between?

Can't dispatch planned order (LA), but can dispatch production order

   I'm new to capacity planning and all of the related configuration screens. I'm probably missing something simple. We've configured our work centers and routings. We've configured our production order types (tcode OPU3, type US01) and planned order types (tcode OPU5, type LA) so that all create capacity requirements and are relevant to 'detailed scheduling'. Requirements are being generated for production orders and planned orders. We can see correct setup and production times in the graphical planning table CM21.
   Here's the problem: When we try to dispatch a planned order, nothing happens. There is no error, but the order is not dispatched. If we convert the planned order into a production order, accepting all SAP proposed defaults, and then try to dispatch the production order, it works fine.
   What configuration are we missing? My first thought was to look in OPU5 for order type LA. In the detailed scheduling section, scheduling horizon is zero (is this Ok?), SelID: Detailed is 01, 'scheduled' and 'generate capacity reqs' are checked.

Please analyse the below note related to your issue.Hope this will help you to sort out the problem.I have cheked the configuration area.I hope u are correct .In fact , it may related to your production version if you do automatic dipatch.Please reade the note and come back.
If an error arises when automatically dispatching planned orders (for example, a capacity overload at a work center) then the system schedules the affected planned orders to another production line.This function is available in both types of planning table. It is of interest for all areas that use planned orders, for example in repetitive manufacturing or in MRP/MPS. It can also be used in production control when later converting planned orders to production orders.
this function the following conditions must be met:
The dispatching function Change production version on error must be set in the strategy profile.
The original work center
must be entered in the production version of the material as the production line (not necessarily in the current production version).
can only be assigned to one operation in the routing for this production version
The alternative work center can only be assigned to one operation in the routing for the alternative production version
If an error arises the system copies the production version with the version key that is next alphanumerically into the planned order. The planned order is rescheduled with this production version. However, it is not dispatched to the new production line but remains in the pool. In this way you can dispatch the rescheduled planned orders together with other planned orders in the pool to the new production line.
To give you a better overview and to improve handling you should choose a sort key with which the planned orders in the pool are sorted according to work center and, for example, latest start date. All orders that are to be dispatched to a production line are then placed next to one another in the pool. If an error arises during automatic dispatching to the new line every planned order affected is rescheduled with the next production version
. If the conditions are not met then the following occurs depending on your settings in the strategy profile:
Dispatching is terminated
Dispatching to the same work center is continued and error messages are written to the planning log
You can only dispatch main operations with this function, but not sub-operations. Operations are always dispatched with the full quantity to the new work center
