Cme with Voicemail.

How does one intergrate voicemail with Cme,i have an office with a 2811 router with a number of ip phones. It has FXO/FXs ports and is working ok,i now want voicemail, how do i go about this?
Thanks.

Your best solution will be Cisco Unity Express voice mail system.
You'll need an NM slot available to put a NM-CUE module into.
(or you can go with an AIM-CUE module which will connect to the 2811 motherboard)

  • Emails with voicemail attachments to CTIOS desktop

Has anyone tried integrate an email client in to a custom CTIOS build so that you can send emails(with voicemail wav file attachments) to the agent

Hi, there's a number of developers offering an enhanced CTI OS agent desktop with a browser (so in fact, they can run the EIM agent within the browser) (or, anything else that is able to act like a web page).
Just a reminder: CTI OS will be phased out slowly, Finesse is "the" new desktop.

  • Mutiple skype numbers with voicemail

Is it possible to have mutiple skype numbers with a voicemail box for each number?

Hi, GAGolfer, and welcome to the Community,
Yes; provided each Skype Number is affiliated with its own separate Skype account!  Otherwise,
No; remember, subscriptions are tied to a particular Skype account.  If you purchase the maximum permitted ten (10) Skype Numbers on one account, that account's voice mailbox will respond for all ten Skype Numbers.
    Make sense?
    Kind regards,
    Elaine

  • Problem with Voicemail, among other things

I have been having problems since the upgrade to 2.0 on my iPhone. I have the original 8GB phone. The problem is that voicemails will not show up right away, sometimes taking more than 24 hours to show. This also is happening on my girlfriends phone also and is a big problem with work.
    Does anyone have any suggestions?

Usually you have either the orange Firefox button (abbreviated menus) or the classic menu bar. You shouldn't be left without either.
To display the classic menu bar, tap the Alt key, then
View menu > Toolbars > ''check'' Menu Bar
In theory, unchecking that again would restore the orange Firefox button.
    Does any of that work?

  • Building CME with SIP vs. SCCP Phones

We currently have 4 CME Systems with SCCP phones. Recently, it was discuss by our upper management to start using SIP phones. Right now the system I have configured are using a PRI for dialtone with POTS lines for backup. What needs to different on the config to use SIP? Do I replace the 'telephony-service' and current 'dial-peers' or add to them?
This is all new to me and I still have not been able to attend any formal training.
Would there ever be a reason to use SIP and SCCP phones on the same system and would that even work?
    Any help is appreciated!

    Aha.... that's a different question.
The choice of your trunking protocol (PRI versus SIP versus something else like FXO/analogue) is largely independent of the protocol the handsets use. You can use SCCP for your handsets and then use SIP trunking into a provider for your external calls. The CME Router will handle the signalling translation between SCCP and SIP for you.
Like everyone else here, I would always use SCCP for the handsets. Whilst Cisco are improving SIP handset features all the time between releases you still can't do everything you that you can do with SCCP. You would also need version 15 to support some of the more useful SIP handset stuff including Extension Mobility, and my own personal view of the code quality on the version 15 trains would use such language that it can't be mentioned here.
SCCP to the handset and trunking over SIP is perfectly valid and I've used it many times with great success.
    Hope this helps. Barry

  • CME with Unity Express GUI Java problem

Running IOS 12.4(22)T with CME 7.0(1) and CUE 7.1.5 on a 2821 ISR.
The GUI had been working fine after the initial system install (used it provision phones). Got back into the system to add another phone and when clicking on either Configure->Extensions, Configure->Users or Configure->System Parameters we get the following text in the browser (IE, Firefox doesn't matter):
    var maxButtonMode = 10 var ringTypeName=new Array(maxButtonMode) ringTypeName[0]= "Normal Ring" ringTypeName[1]= "Silent" ringTypeName[2]= "Silent w/CW Beep" ringTypeName[3]= "Feature Ring" ringTypeName[4]= "Monitor" ringTypeName[5]= "Overlay" //ringTypeName[6]= "Expand" //ringTypeName[7]= "Overlay w/CW" //ringTypeName[8]= "Speed Dial" ringTypeName[9]= "Watch" document.write("<" + "SCRIPT LANGUAGE='JavaScript' SRC='admin_user.js'><" + "/SCRIPT>");
The other pages load up fine. Same behaviour from Windows 7 32-bit or inside a Windows XP SP3 VM environment. Two different versions of Java running: 1.6.0_17 and 1.6.0_20.
Thanks for your help, ideas or suggestions.
    Jason

Ended up taking these steps to fix the gui issue:
    Reloaded the integrated CUE module service module no effect;
    Reloaded the router - no effect;
Upgraded to IOS 12.4(24)T3 and extracted cme-gui-124-24T.tar to flash (had been using files from cme-gui-7.1.0.0.tar).
    Working fine now.

  • CME with X-lite softphone

Has anyone had any luck configuring CME 4.0 to work with the X-lite softphone?

Works fine. To register the phone, configure username (same as extension number) and password under "voice register pool XX". You will need to specify a mac-adress that in reality doesn't matter and can be all zeros. In X-lite check the box "register with server" and choose "send outbound via proxy" with CME address.
Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!

  • CME with telephones analogic in port FXS

    Hi all,
I have a router with CME and 4 FXS ports, would like to set up call transfer that is possible with analog phones and FXS port and CME?
    Regards

It's possible, but fiddly - you'd need to have users dial codes etc.
    e.g. http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios/voice/fxs/configuration/guide/15_1/fxs_15_1_cg_book/fxssccpsplmft.html

  • CME with SPA112

    Hi,
We have a 2901 with CME 10 and I have configured some SPA112 devices to connect to DECT phones and FAX machines.
The DECT phones work perfectly, but the with faxes we have issues, it sometimes works, and sometimes it doesn't.
Outbound works sometimes, inbound never works. When we connect a DECT phone to the 'fax' port from the SPA112, the DECT phone works perfectly.
Has anyone install SPA112 with CME and faxes were working fine?
    Thanks
    JH

    Hello Sreekanth,
Sorry for the delay in responding to you.
This is a 2901 with CME 10 and 3 BRI interfaces.
We have 5 SPA112 configured as 3rd party SIP (username/password no type, no MAC)
The DECT phones are working perfectly, and can have a cor list applied and watch command.
Just the faxes don't really work. Sending sometimes work, receiving not at all, fax makes the fax noises and then the line drops.
What would be the best configuartion for SPA with CME 10? using T38 or passthru?
    Thanks!
