Cmod - project

hai,
i am creating a project in CMOD. and i am activating it .
after that i am going into the exit. and double clicking on the include.
but i am unable to navigate into the include.
it throws a info message "program names ZX are reserved for the includes of the exit function groups".
help me in solving this.

Exit Fm is not to CMOD project but transported to test system

Hi.
I have a enhancement MWMIDO08 with contains function module EXIT_SAPLLMDE_002 and which incldes program ZXLIDU10.
I made my necessary changes in the include program and transported to test system, without creating any CMOD project.
But my changes are working fine in test test.
Can you please suggest me, what to do now? if i want create a CMOD project now and add the function exit into it. and resend the new request to test system.
Does it create any problem.

This sort of thing can happen if someone has assigned a CMOD project to the enhancement containing the user exit before.
First check in SE16, table MODACT with MODACT-MEMBER = 'MWMIDO08', then MODACT-NAME will give you the existing project that is already assigned to enhancement MWMIDO08
If there is no entry in MODACT then you can safely create another project and assign the enhancement to it, activate and transport.
If already there is an entry in MODACT, you need to check if the same entry exists in your QA and Prod systems, to verify if someone already transported it. If it is not transported you need to deactivate / activate the project and transport that project again.
No this should not cause any problem and I can tell from experience having done same thing before.

What is CMOD project for EXIT_SAPMV45A_003?

Hi GEms,
I am unable to find the underlying CMOD project for the enhancement in EXIT_SAPMV45A_003.
I need this because it seems that the project is not active as this is not getting triggered when i place a break point for the relevant conditions.
I had searched the table TADIR and manually went inti the CMODs individually.
Can some help me how do i find the CMOD project for this EXIT_SAPMV45A_003?

I had done as you said i.e. i had created a cmod project and assigned V45A0003 and activated it.
Now what is the next step that i should do?
I see that there are 2 FM's under V45A0003 : EXIT_SAPMV45A_003 &
EXIT_SAPMV45A_004.
Can i omit EXIT_SAPMV45A_004 from the inclusion.
Pls suggest.

CMOD project got deleted

Hi All,
Can anyone help me out in tracking the deleted CMOD project.
One of my CMOD project was deleted, how I could find out in which transport this Project was deleted.

Hi ,
We cannot confirm this issue happened because of latest transport.
User exit code (Z* include) active, May be CMOD project created earlier and then deleted in between because many transports exits for this CMOD project.
Can you help us to track the history of Enhancements included into CMOD project (like inserting & deleting ...Enhancements to CMOD project).

Explicitly attaching the CMOD project to a my TRansport??

I created a CMOD project.
bcoz of some reason, its NOT attached to any transport........so, I need to attach EXPLICITLY this Project to a existing transport.
Actually, I tried, by going to CMOD to this project.......went to CHNAGE mode.......chnaged the simply description of the project...........by expecting that, system will ask me a transport, so that, that point I can assign a trabnsport..........but, system said that, its ALREADY ACTIVATED and did NOT asked me any transport!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, let me know that, How to attach it EXPLICITLY?

Hello,
You might try deactivating the project before making any changes. I tried this in our system and was prompted for a change request right away. Then make your changes and reactivate. Everything should then be recorded on a request.
If you are not prompted for a request when you deactivate the project it may be possible that the project is already attached to an existing request.

CMOD Project need to move from local Object into Transport request

I created a Project(CMOD) under Local Object I need to move the Project from Local object into Transport request.
I can't able to find any option.

On the first screen of your project, choose following menu path:
"goto => object directory entry"
press on the change icon
you can now assign a different package.

Using CMOD to change Keyword Text

I'm using CMOD to change a field name for a data element. After I make the changes and select save, I seem to be in an infinite loop of select the appropirate transport request and then hitting save again.... if I back out by choosing cancle after I have already saved, my chnages are lost.
I think that there should be some king of sctivate step but I don't see the activate icon on the screen or in any of the menu paths.
Can someone give me some direction?

I figured it out.
I needed to activate the CMOD project.
So for others looking for how to's on chaning keyword text.
1st create a CMOD project then do the goto text enhancements keywords enter the data element that you want change then save and then activate your project.

Problem with the CMOD

The problem is that, when we execute the query in the front end the control is not coming to the ABAP code in the CMOD project (we used a Break point in the CMOD). Help us to proceed further.

Do you have any customer exit variable in your query? Did that variable name is used in CMOD includes? If not, then control won't come inside CMOD at all.

I am creating Enhancing standard BI content master data extractors, I am not able create CMOD project.
Error showing for Enhancement RSAP0002 does not exist

You need to follow these steps
1) Go to Tcode :CMOD and then create a project
2) the assign components asEXIT_SAPLRSAP_001 / EXIT_SAPLRSAP_002(for trasaction data)
3) Go inside the include and write a code to fill the values to your NEW field from the table you want move
4) Save the code and activate it
5) Go to RSA3 and test the extractor
6) Check your NEW field is there or not (if u dont find ur field go to rsa6 adn double click ur DS and then see that there is a HIDE mark i schecked or not)
7) If everything looks fine from R3 side
8) Replicate the data source in BW
9) You will find the new fild in the Trasfer structure
10)Assign to the IO which u want to mapp.. adn Activate it

Creation of settlement documents, how to influence

i have a requirement to influence creation of settlement documents which get created via TA MEB1 using the pushbutton "Settlement".
There is a SMOD/CMOD project which we use as userexit.
we use SMOD lwbon003, component EXIT_SAPLWN01_003.
i dont need to do much, i just need to "enrich" those settlements with LIFNR, PRCTR and MWSKZ.
the local interface of my exit component EXIT_SAPLWN01_003 looks like following:

I´ve tried a lot, but nothing really worked out, does anyone have expierience in how to use this interface correctly?
Well LIFNR works fine... but the rest.
I have tried to change MWSKZ in the one existing record i got in parameter T_SETTLEMENT_VALUES_MWSKZ .
It was displayed in the simulate screen, but no tax was calculated and posted, in the FI document the old MWSKZ showed up which was in my record BEFORE i changed it.
Next thing i tired is to add a second record into parameter T_SETTLEMENT_VALUES_MWSKZ, used some imaginary 10% tax calculated the value myself and added the record. Didnt work out either.
Im kinda stuck here, maybe someone can give me a tip.

Ok, Problem finally solved.
After reading the ducomentation on the EXIT a bit i could correct some problems with filling the structures properly which enabled me make him calculate tax as i want.
For the assignment of the FI-documents to the profit center we used a FI-substitution.

1. Create a project in CMOD
2. Assign the exit definition name (From SMOD)
3. Select the function module you would like to implement from the components screen
4. Double click on the include name within the function module, create the include if not already created
5. Add your code to the include program
6. Save and activate your code
7. Save and activate your CMOD Project

IDOC - Function Exit not getting triggered

I am doing an inbound IDOC for the message type WMMBXY and using basic type WMMBID02.
This is for goods movement based on PO.
I am doing an enhancement in the includeof the function module exit EXIT_SAPLLMDE_002.
This exit is supposed to get triggered for the message type WMMBXY.
when i tested the idoc in we19 it is sucessfully getting posted. I want to check my code in EXIT_SAPLLMDE_002. I have set breakpoint and tested using we19. But this is not getting triggered. But the idoc is getting sucessfully posted but with a status message 56 An inbound partner profile could not be found( I am not sure if this has something to do with above problem).

Did you attach your exit to a CMOD project and activated the same(CMOD transaction)?
The error you see regarding the partner profiles is probably due to the non existance of a partner profile for your idoc type in we20 transaction.
Maintain the inbound partner profile in we20 transacttion.

IDOC Segment Adding a new field

Hi all!
My disclaimer: I know less than nothing about IDOCs. So hopefully I lead you down the right path. I have searched SDN and then tried google. As far as I can tell I've gone thru the right steps. But since it isn't working I must have skipped a step.
Here's what I've done:
1. Changed the segment via WE31. I had to cancel the activation. So I activated it again. It did generate a change request.
2. Updated the custom function module. Hard coded a value into that field just to see if it would work.
Tested it by running the invoice transaction. I see the IDOC with all the fields except for the one I added.
Next:
1. Cancel the activation on WE31.
2. Cancel the activation for the Object via WE30.
3. Activate the segment via WE31.
4. Activate the object via WE30.
5. Verify the structure was correct via SE11.
All looked good, I tested again. Again the IDOC was generated with all the fields except for the one I added.
I've since tried some other things. That do not really make a lot of sense, but I tried them. Does anyone know what I'm missing? How do I get the new field to display on my IDOC?
(I've also checked the partner profile via WE20 and verified the message type and object...)

1. you have to activate WE30/WE31
2. you have to maintain your IDoc & extension in the WE20 outbound parameters.
3. you have to create a CMOD Project to activate your customer Exit for Incoice IDocs
4. you have to fill the new z-field with relevant value in the Function Module "assigned in CMOD".
if all steps are done. Put a breakpoint in the module to see that the z-field is filled.
