CMS Assembly issue

Hi Friends,
Last week, We were having CMS issues in assembly step, while transporting IR objects from XIQ to XIP. Some of the SWCVs were in the failed state. We deleted the tracks corresponding to these SWCVs. That way we deleted all the pending transport requests from the queue of these SWCVs. Then we created the tracks again for these SWCVs and started with a clean state. Now, when I try to export on namespace from XIQ to XIP, it is not doing anything on the assembly tab. Means, In the assemble components window, If I select 'subset assembly' and select my change request and hit assemble. It does not assemble and the SWCV still shows the status 'waiting for assembly. If I don't select 'subset assembly' , then it assembles the SWCV. That means I am not able to assemble individual change request and I will have to assemble the entire SWCV, and I don't want that. Please advise what can be the reason for 'subset assembly' not working.

Transports in XI using CMS, assembly issue

Hi all,
We have a 3 system landscape of XI . We have JDI configured in D system.
Currently we are using CMS transports from D to Q and file system transports from Q to P. We have planned to use CMS transports from Q to P also instead of file system transports.
In that process, when we selected a particular software component in the assembly tab, and selected assemble component, we noticed that all the software compoents assembly is running, which are present in the assembly queue.
Is there any procedure to stop the assembly for all the software components?

NWDI CMS Assembly broken DC - missing DCs as Dependency

Hi Everyone,
I need your advise/help:
in NWDI CMS, when assembly my custom application i.e. b2b_bd, I got broken DC error with below details from CBS log file.
Seems there are 2 missing DCs:
sap.com/tc/bi/bp/enterpriseApplication' DC, does not exist [public-part: enterpriseApplication] AS Build Plugin Dependency
'sap.com/crm/isa/web/b2b' DC, does not exist [public-part: war] AS Build-Time Dependency
My question is prior to my custom application assembly, do we need to do any dependency steps - sap standard DCs (SP related DCs) assembly?

Thank you so much for your quick response, email and help.
The DC was broken because of a problem in a used DC or build plug-in, 'sap.com/tc/bi/bp/enterpriseApplication' and 'sap.com/crm/isa/web/b2b', are not available while assembling. My question is how to make them avaiable? I don't think I can edit/activate them from NWDS, only Basis can import a patched version of the used SC into CMS, please correct me if I'm wrong.
Any advises / suggestions?

CMS Assembly

Hi experts,
After having successfully activated my activities, i go to the CMS (Change Management Service) to do a consolidation and an assembly. However my assembly failed and the errors given are as shown below. I have tried to re-import the model but still to no avail. Hope one of you guys have come across this type of problem. Could not load file or assembly issue with SSAS Deployment Wizard

Hi
I am getting an error when trying to update 'Data Source Connection Strings' under 'Specify Configuration Properties' of the SSAS Deployment Wizard.
Unhandled exception occurred: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.VisualStudio.Data, Version=8.0.0.0 ...
Well, it used to be 'version = 10.0.0.0. It changed to version 8 after trying to fix it for hours by googling and so on.
I just can not make it work. I really need to make it work as I need to use the deployment wizard to deploy the project to the production server. (Looks like this is the only way as the server is not part of domain, just a standalone server hosted on a cloud).
on top of my head, I remember installing everything under SQL2012 DVD D:\redist\VSTA.
Visit Micirosoft site and download components and so on..
I have two other servers, one with SQL2008R@ and SQL2012. Both are ok. But this server which I want to use it as the production server is causing me an issue. ah... I can not make it work. Please help me!

You do not need to be concerned if your app references 32 or 64 bit assemblies. VS being 32 bit, needs to reference 32 bit assemblies in order to compile correctly. Thus running the app from the VS IDE, you wil be using 32 bit assemblies. Using a compiled exe or a DLL, the app will use 32 bit or 64 bit assemblies depending on how the app was compiled and "bitness" of the OS.
E.g;; an app compiled as 32 bit will require 32 bit assemblies
An app compiled as 64 bit will run 64 bit assemblies - on 64 bit OS only.
An app compiled as "Any CPU", will run 32 b it or 64 bit assemblies, depending on the OS. On a 64 bit OS, the app will by definition use 64 bit assemblies (but it is up to you to deploy the 64 bit runtime - not the 32 bit runtime). On a 32 bit OS the app will use 32 bit assemblies.

CMS Assembly Error -- but building in CBS succeeds.

After recently upgrading to SP12 we are having some assembly errors in CMS. The log for the assembly error is as follows:

The rcmo/testapp project is dependent upon rcmo/unittest which is dependent upon rcmo/mrcmo and finally this rcmo/mrcmo project is dependent upon an External library DC call rcmo/jaxme.
After the assembly in CMS fails, the consolidation buildspace in CBS lists three broken DCs (the three projects identified in the log message above.) The rcmo/mrcmo project lists a build failue and, of couse, the other two projects have "usage failures" because of the dependencies to the project which failed to build. The build log for the rcmo/mrcmo project contains the following error:

[dcmake] ERROR: Check for used DCs failed: Could not find used public part "JaxmeAssembly" of meridium.com/rcmo/jaxme(meridium.com_RCMO_1) : Used public part not available
[dcmake] Build failed with errors.
The rcmo/jaxme project is an External Library DC with two public parts exposed, one for compliation and one for assembly. CBS shows all "green lights" for the rcmo/jaxme project so I'm not sure why we would be seeing this error. We are running SP12 and the SP12 SCAs have been checked-in/imported into the buildspaces.
Interestingly, if I initiate a manual build of the compartment in CBS, it will succeed and then returning to CMS I am able to successfully complete the assembly and import into the test system. I have no idea why a "manual" build of the compartment in CBS would succeed but initiating the assembly in CMS fails.

Paragraph Assembly Issues

Hi All,
I currently have a form utilizing a single MLT field using a paragraph assembly rule. There are about 20 or so paragraphs included so it spans past a single page. We are seeing some really strange results.
The first issue involves a blank first page. My headers and footers appear fine but the paragraph text is nowhere to be seen. It does however appear on page 2. This happens at random as well. The only workaround I have is to resubmit the document in question and hope it works.
The 2nd, and more problematic issue is removing a paragraph through the selection window. Upon removing a paragraph, the entire section shifts down on the front page causing a large amount of blank space.
Ultimately, the paragraph assembly function appears to work well but only when dealing with a single page. We enter limbo when it comes down to spanning multiple pages. Has anyone observed any of these issues?

There are several things that could come into play here. First, make sure that your MLT field destination for the paragraph selection is set with the option to allow it to span pages. If it isn't, then when the section grows large enough it will move to the next page in its entirety until it is the first and only section following a header or footer. Second thing to check is that you have not set any of your paragraphs of text with the "Do Not Break" option. This is under the paragraph properties. When the paragraphs are set to not allow break, the content will move to the next page until it is first on the page and spans the entire page size. Finally, it is possible that some earlier section on the page is forcing the section off the page. In a normal sequence where you complete data from the top-down, splitting and pagination usually works as expected. However, sometimes if you use DAL scripts or maybe certain rules, it is possible that once your section is initially sized, then an earlier section on the page can change size - due to another MLT or text area with embedded fields - and it is the growing of that section which forces the one with your paragraph assembly off the page.

HP PSC 1315 - Encoder Strip Assembly Issues

I am searching for help on assembling the encoder strip on my HP PSC 1315 printer.
My kid reached inside and pulled it out before I could even gasp...now i have a clear plastic strip, a metallic piece that seems to be floating and a printer that doesn't work.
I am mystified on how it assembles and where the 'threading across the sensor' has to be done etc...
Unable to find any pictures ...
Any and all help would be highly appreciated.

Assembly issue + SSIS package

We have added "DataWarehouseLibrary.dll" under C drive of our server, as we are usiing that assembly in our SSIS package Script Task Editor -->> Edit Script -->> Add Reference.
Now we are executing that package through an SSIS Agent Job, but we are getting below error:-

CMS Replication issue

I've started my upgrade from lync 2010 to lync 2013. I've got my lync 2013 enterprise pilot pool up, certs installed all services running but I cannot get replication working between my 2013 front end servers. Just not sure where to start
troubleshooting this as there are no events logged on any of the servers concerning file replication. I've been through this

but Im not seeing any of those events logged on any of my front end servers. The replication service is running. If I run Get-CsManagementStoreReplicationStatus
-CentralManagementStoreStatus, All my lync 2010 servers replicas are up to date my but my 2013 servers are not. I can invoke replication and with in a few seconds lync 2010 is updated by lync 2013 never does, but no errors are logged. Where
can I begin to troubleshoot this? Thanks!!

Would you please tell us which step did you do during migrating from Lync Server 2010 to Lync Server 2013?
Did you move CMS to 2013 already?
On Lync Server 2013 FE server:
Please check if the schema extension have been successfully replicated in your AD DS forest.
Open Lync Server 2013 Deployment Wizard, click “Install or Update Lync Server System”. In the interface, check if all steps show normally. If not,click "Run" to complete the step.

Hp pavillon g6 re-assembly issue (screen)

I disassembled my laptop because there was something in the fan. When I reasembled it the screen don't swirch on. I' v also noticed that the the caps lock light was "flashing" and the wi-fi led was red (like if it was turned off) (these leds are on the keys on the keyboard).
Now i m trying to reassemble it and I ve some question: 1) can i try to switch the computer on when it is not full assemble to chek if the sceen it s plugged in right?
2) in your opinion why the sceen don't switch on? (there aren't any warning suond while strarting)

Problem solved. probably it was the "plug/socket" connection between the screen and the mother board.

Issues regarding File Tranportation

Hi Everybody,
I'm doing simple File Transportation.. (manual).. here IR and ID point of view I'm able to do easily... but i have doubts...i have doubts regarding SLD point of view..
these entries how can we transport from Developement to Quality.. any Import and Export option is there like in Integration Repository and Integration Directory ...
and one more thing.. if i transport the ABAP objects(classes ) from Developemt to Quality means.. again i need to generate the proxy or.. automaticaly that will work.. beacsue.. i have proxys for all the interfaces.. for these types of interfaces how can we transport.. please guide me..

How to Transport objects
In Integration Repository object:
right click on the Namespace which you want to send to Quality system and select the export optin and export it....this will create a .tpz file on the server following path

right click on the configuration scenarion in development which you want to send to Quality select the export optin and export it....this will create a .tpz file on the server following path

then login to the IR of the quality select the tools--import option you will get this tpz file and import it and activate.

Clarification in File system transfer

are these sytems (pxd , pxq , pxp)
3 different systems, ie: different physical systems(client systems) or just partitions in a single server..how do they stay connected?.
Then in help.sap.com they have given a step like this
""To export or import design objects, call the design maintenance screen of the Integration Builder.""
what is the the design maintenance screen ? how to start it?
more over a blog says that custom RFC modules are developed for JCO calls & the usage dependency objects created must also be transferred , i am not sure about what are jco calls &dependency objects

How to Transport objects
In Integration Repository object:

XI Transports general question (SLD / CTS+)

Hi all, I ve the both following question : (it is not clear for me)
1) Does CTS+ transport management use SLD transport and target data linked with business system to adapt XI configuration (ID) regarding Business sender and receiver systems ?????
2) One of my customer want to install only 2 XI system.
- 1 linked with Dev & Quality R/3 environment
- 1 linked with production R/3 system
Is it possible regarding SLD content ?
How must the transports be managed in this case using CTS ?

Printer not printing black ink Hp Deskjet D4360 / Carriage jammed not moving on Hp Officejet 4622

my cartridge is full and i did the blot test ink showed up but still not printing this is my HP Deskjet D4360
and my HP Offciejet 4622 keeps saying carrage is jammed and not moving and i tryed everything

I understand that you're experiencing a black print quality issue when printing from your Windows 7 computer to your HP Deskjet D4360 Printer and a carriage jam error on your HP Officejet 4622 e-All-in-One Printer. I would like to work with you today with resolving the issues with these two HP printers. To make this post easier to follow I am going to divide my response into two separate sections for each printer. Can I please have you follow the steps below to resolve these issues.
Deskjet D4360 Printer Print Quality Troubleshooting:
To resolve this black print quality issue, can I please have you click here. Once the support document opens please run through Step three, Step four, Step five, and Step six. This includes any sub-steps under the listed Steps to follow.
Once troubleshooting is complete please test printing another Diagnostics Report from your printer to verify if the black printing issue has been resolved.
HP Officejet 4622 e-All-in-One Printer Carraige Troubleshooting:
In your post you indicate that you have already tried troubleshooting this issue to no avail. At this point I would like you to click here to access the carriage jam troubleshooting steps. Once the support document opens please follow Solution one, Solution two, Solution three, Solution four, Solution five, and Solution six. This includes any sub-steps under the listed Solutions.
If you have already completed the steps in this support document, please just review them to ensure that nothing has been missed.
Should the carriage jam issue persists, a whole unit replacement may be needed to correct the faulty carriage assembly issue.
