CMS:: ERROR

Hi! Gurus,
I am Amar and doing XI Transport using CMS. After I importing the Scenario from development server to Quality there again after edditting the Communiation Channel Parameters " I am unable to activate that objects"
I am getting the Error ""Unable to move object. Change lists were not part of the same import""
Kindly Solve this and do the needful to me as early as possible.

probably the objects were exported from some other ID and you are trying to activate from your user ID,just select the user as All in change list and ask those users to activate it.
you are basically trying to activate partial change list

1. NWDI comes along with CE7.2 or not? If yes how can we confirm that installed successfully? If not what is the way..?
2. In configuration wizard while executing u201CDI Change Management Service (CMS): Create an Application Skeletonu201D after providing CMS URL and User name and Password got following error at step 6 of 41.

What It is wrong? and where I can check CMS up and running

in JSPM I am not able to see DI component. I can see only follwoing components under Deployed Components->CE>
- sap.com/BASIC
- sap.com/BPM
- sap.com/CE-APPS
- sap.com/CE-MODEL
- sap.com/COMP-ENV
when I tried to enable DI thru sld/fun I got follwoing errors

2. Changes few JVM parameters (increased heap size, jdbc pool size)

Update CMS error

Hi Everybody,
I´ve been trying to update the CMS into Landscape Configurator but I got the error below:
*SLD (URL http://sphp114:50000/sld/cimom) server exception: IO error: Read timed out*
Does anyone have any clue to solve this problem ?
I´ve checked already into Visual Admin -> Services -> SLD Data Supplier and CIMClient Test is successful.

CMS - Error while creating a track

Hi,
I have following problem. I configurate my CMS on a 2 system XI landscape. Now I goto: http://server:port/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tcSLCMS~WebUI/Cms and try to create a new Track in "Landscape Configurator".
I fill the General Track Data but when I would Add Software Component I couldn't find my SWCs?!?!
That confuse me a bit because when I go to System Landscape Directory I could see them all...
Any idea?

ITunes lists Podcast as Video Podcast due to CMS Error

Before I begin, here are my podcast feed and my itunes link:

So, I noticed after my show was submitted to iTunes that Wordpress had set previous posts uploads' to the same type that PowerPress ( http://www.blubrry.com/powerpress/ ) uses. I corrected my feed using a fix I found in their forums ( http://forum.blubrry.com/index.php?topic=595.0 ).
Now, I have a feed that only contains my podcasts, but the category breadcrumbs read: Podcasts > Video Podcasts > Video Games > GAMINGtruth. Is there any way to correct this?
I've already pinged iTunes, so is there something else I should be doing to ensure it gets placed in the correct category?

Installing SAPBusinessobjects XI 3.1 SP3 on VM server with STW00213 ERROR

Hi Experts,
I am trying to install BOXI 3.1 onto a VM Server running windows 2003 SP2. We have a database already set up on anther machine Oracle 11g and have setup the sqlplus connection using oracle client. It has tested correctly. The install goes ahead well until when I get an CMS error that u201CThe Central management Server has failed to start. Press retry to Retry to attempt to start it again or cancel to skip any actions dependent on the Central Management Server STW00213". Click retry and same error click Cancel and install completes. Open CCM and the SIA is not there. Nothing in the log file to point to any error. Any ideas as to why this is happening. It has happened on two installs. I am logged in as the Local administrator and have also tried as a Domain administrator. Same error. I set up SIA after installation and SIA has been configured well but when I logged into SIA node I had only CMS service up so I was keeping on setting up server by server but itu2019s not the best way to install XI server product. My thoughts are that it has something to do with the VM bridged network not talking with the Oracle server but I am opened to any suggestions.

there are 2 things you need to ensure for this installation to work :
1. Install 32bit Oracle client
2. make sure the client version is supported as per supported platform guide.
3. Use tnsnames, not onames
4. When installing oracle client - don't use express or lite versions...
The problem with your install is that when it is time to configure CMS DB - CMS.exe process cannot connect to Oracle DB.
p.s.
make sure oracle user used has Resource and Connect roles

CMS - Are multiple business systems required?

I am receiving a CMS error of "VIAWARE" (my business system) in not assigned a business system in group QA. I only have one viaware business system for R/3 dev, qa, and prod to point to. I don't want to make 3 VIAWARE business systems if I don't have to. Do I need three?

Hi,
If you are using single SLD for all Dev,QA and Prod environment, then you need to replicate the Business Systems for each environment..
So one Business System represents one Technical System in this case R/3. SO in each environment SAP systems are different..
But if you have 3 SLDs, then no need of creating 3 business systems.
btw, while transporting did you assign Business Systems for transport group ? this doc may help u-

Import into Consolidation system failed

1. Incrrease the memory size by navigating to Check the CBS settings in the Visual Administrator->Services->Component Build Service-> Tab 'Properties'

Seeburger: keyStorage: import chain of certificates

Hi guys,
Have any of you imported on VisualAdmin Key storage a certificate which has a chain of certificates associated?
Why does this question pops up? Well, I'm using Seeburger AS2 Adapter and I'm trying to receive a message from my external partner. The point is that the certificate has associated a chain of certificates. I tried to import every certificate, one by one, creating three entries on the keystorage, and then specifying on the sender agreement the alias referring to the lower certificate. Meaning certificateA depends from certificateB which depends from certificateC, which is the ROOT Certificate.

So in the sender agreement I only have
Sender Configuration
Authentication Certificate : \AS2\certificateA
My external partner is getting AUTHENTICATION ERROR. What I think is happenning is that XI is not being able to relate the three certificates.
Do you have any ideas?

Unfortunately the problem is yet to be solved...
I've placed the certificates in the TrustedCA's but I'm still getting the following error:

Although the error is an authentication error, it is due to other factors.
I've searched the web but couldn't find any related issues...
For debugging I've tried sending a message from another test partner with his own certificate but letting the other partner's certificate configured. The error
is an authentication error/connection refused. So in the first case XI reaches to the point of validating the certificate signature.
Has any of you faced this error?

BOBJ installation Issue

Hi,
i would not recommend installing EDGE on the same physical Machine as your BI due to performance related topics.
Try to install EDGE with a different DB type. f.e. create a own schema on your Oracle DB for EDGE.

Server Intelligents Agent not installing

We have a database already set up on anther machine SQl 2005 and have setup the ODBC connetion (SQL server)using the 32 bit ODBC driver. It has tested correctly. The install goed well until the end where I get an CMS error that 'The Central management Server has failed to start. OK There are a lot of errors in the Log file which relate to writing to the install path and as per below.
Property(C): WiseInitAdminError = You must have administrator rights to run this installation. Please login as an administrator and re-run this installation.
Property(C): WiseInitReboot = This system must reboot before the installation can begin. After the reboot the installation will restart automatically. Do you want to reboot this system?

I have tried installing as Local Administrator as well as a Domain aministrator
Yes the Databse has been populated with tables during the install.
We are reinstalling the OS to make sure it is WIN 2003 R2 sp2 64 Bit which is a supported platform. SQL 2005 is also SP2 64 bit

Error while creating a track in CMS

Hi all,
I am trying to create a track in CMS using J2ee_ administrator.While saving I am getting the below error.
SLD (URL http://rhocrmd2:50000) server exception: User credentials are invalid or user is denied access.
The same error is coming while I save runtime systems or update cms or save domain.
J2ee_admin is assigned to nwdi.administrator group which is assigned to nwdi.administrator role.
In security provider of visual administrator I assigned the security role LcrInstanceWriterAll.
The same user I am using in SLD data supplier service in Visual admin.I am able to log into sld with j2ee_admin user and able to create Software component.
No idea why the above error is coming.
Any more permissions need to be given?
