CMS in CMC shows "down"/"disabled" but "up" in CCM

Dear Gurus,
I have this issue coming up every now and then in my production BOE server. CMS shows as 'disabled' in Servers area in CMC but when I check CCM, it shows as up. I'll enable it and it comes back again. After few days or sometimes even after few weeks, CMS shows down/disabled again in CMC while it is up in CCM.
Is this something common or I'm some problem here. Can anybody guide me in this matter.

There are various ways for tracing. This option is mostly useful for optimization or debugging purposes.
a) Enabling trace through BO_trace.ini
A sample BO_trace.ini file can be found in the following locations after installing a build:
C:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\Logging\logConfig\BO_trace.ini
To turn on tracing using the BO_trace.ini file, the "active" setting within the file must be set to "true" (i.e. active=true). And append -traceinipath <path to valid BO_trace.ini file> to any server command line
Note:
By default all the log files will be placed in < BO_installer_Dir >\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\logging folder

    It sounds like you may be using different versions of the Norton toolbar. The one on the desktop must be older and not updated for v24 of Firefox. The one the laptop must be newer.

    On a side note v24 of Firefox is no longer the latest version. To get the latest security updates you should update to v25. See here:

    I found that the culprit was Adblockplus. To solve it : ABP>drop down menu>Report issue on this page>click bullet blocking too much and follow steps.

    Hi,
    So switch a LAN card fix this issue...seems a compatibility issue or maybe some packs or programs you installed recently cause this issue.
    Have you manually check the network adapter driver from the PC's manufacture website? sometimes, it will be a time delay before Microsoft push out the driver update.
    Check if issue exists in safemode with network, this mode will launch Windows with limited sets of files and drivers. 
    if you have a restore point, restore the pc to a previous point at which the pc is functioning fine.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    First check that your device is correctly connected to the wifi/internet (settings > wifi)
    If your back up continually fails, you might try turning off back up on your mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup) and then deleting the backup file from iCloud by swiping the backup file on the mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup > manage…) and then turning back up on again.
    If this doesn't help, try turning off some items for back up in a pattern to try to establish if your problem is being caused by specific data on your device.
    Being able to back up to the cloud can be very useful, especially if you don't have access to a computer or have infrequent access to one, however unless you specifically need to use iCloud for back up, you will find backing up to iTunes significantly more convenient and possibly more reliable.

  • Servers show off in CMC but on in CCM-Reports not working in infoview

    I'm running a Crystal Server XI (v11.5.9.1076) on Win Server 2003/IIS
    This server has been up and running for a couple years now with no major hiccups. Our company recently got bought out and as a result we changed domains and server naming standards. To my surprise the renaming of the server/domain switch went pretty smoothly with no problems.
    All of a sudden (2 weeks later) any report i try and run i get "The Page Server you are trying to connect to is not accessible" I check my CCM and all servers are running. I log into my CMC->Servers and everything but the CMS is off?? I attempt to start them and i get the message "Input.<servername> - File Repository Server:  Server Input.<servername>.fileserver is already in the state requested"...i hit ok and the status doesn't change...still off. I do know they did some DNS clean up recently, don't know if that affected me or not.
    Any thoughts?

    For some reason whenever i try and delete a server in the CMC (with all servers stopped) it give me a reply that i don't have the permissions to delete this server?? However I'm logged in as the Admin with full control?
    We did get the server up and running again by recreating the old domain in DNS. It seems that i still need to resolve the old server name. So i guess my name switch went smoothly because it didn't really change :P
    Does anyone have any good links to proper steps to take when changing server names?

  • Service Broker Disabled but it comes back showing its Enabled.

    Used to disable SERVICE BROKER in single user mode :
    ALTER DATABASE [Database_name] SET DISABLE_BROKER;
    SELECT is_broker_enabled FROM sys.databases WHERE name = 'Database_name';
    when i checked the database after disabling, it shows 'is_broker_enabled'=1
    wht can be problem.

    Interestingly the broker is disabled but i see the receive_wait messages on 'Activity monitor' for the database where service broker is disabled.

    Elements 10 was deactivated on desktop and installed on new laptop.  Have on
    y used it for photo editing until yesterday. Created a slide show with music but every time I try to burn to cd or move it to hard drive after about 15 sec, it says windows has encountered a problem with this program and must shut down.
    I Also can't sign in to adobe with the program. It simply spins and I had to force close the program.
    help!?

    I am using photoshop Elements 10 under the create tab...slide show.
    Used it on my desktop several times. Deactivated it and installed on new lap top about 5 months ago.  Had not used it other than for photo editing until today.
    I can also not login in thru the program. It simply spins and I finally had to force close the program

    2 iMac Intel i5, 8 GB Ram, 1 TB SATA HDD, Mountain Lion (10.8.5 or 10.8.4 )

    1 Mac pro Intel Xeon, 6 GB Ram, 1 TB HDD, Tiger (10.4.11)
    A few power PC G4 Tiger (10.4.11)
    1 Linux SME Server 7.5 (Samba Server)
    We are works on the Server(Linux). There ara many pictures and Text Files  (tif, jpeg, rtf, doc, txt etc.) in server folders.
         On the 2 iMac (Mountain Lion)
              Text files in the folder have viewed normal(optimum) time. But Pictures in the folder have viewed very slow and very long time.Because showing pictures icon (show icon preview) very slow on the Mountain Lion. We tried List View/ColumnView.We have waited very long time(for pictures in the folder) when we selected a folder every time.
              We unchecked show icon preview but still showed icon previews, icon preview (thumbnail) can not disable, We tried "Finder preferences", "View > Show View Options > Show icon preview(unchecked)" and  "Show icon column(unchecked)" but still "Show icon preview(checked)" and  "Show icon column(checked)"
         On the Power PC G4, Mac pro or iMac (Leopar/snow Leopar or Tiger)   
              Everythings ok. There isn't any problem.  Text files and Pictures in the folder have viewed normal(optimum) time
    This problem only on the Mountain Lion, on the other OS (Leopar/snow Leopar or Tiger) no problem.
    How to resolve this problem?

    Good news: I found a solution.
    Start iTunes, remove all your voice memos from your library (back them up if you need them), quit iTunes. Restart Finder. Done. I hope that helps!

    Contact the Apple account security team for your country and request assistance: Apple ID: Contacting Apple for help with Apple ID account security.  If you can prove your identity to them, they can reset the password and help you regain control of the account.

    The reset link will only show if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
    If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

    Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

    Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tend to indicate a problem with your network.
    Does the iOS device see the network?
    Any error messages?
    Do other devices now connect?
    Did the iOS device connect before?
    Try the following to rule out a software problem:                
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
    Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Power off and then back on your router
    .- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
    - iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
    - Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network      
    - iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
    - Restore from backup. See:

    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
    If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
