CMS5 update unable to find supported product

I'm trying to update Creative Media Source 5 for my Zen. The installation program stops with an error 'unable to find supported product'. My zen is attached and I can see in in Windows Explorer. I am using Windows Vista. any suggestions?

Hi,
Could you provide some more details:
- Which OS are you using (Win/Mac) and flavour?
- What is the version of Creative Suite that you are using (CS5.5/CS6 etc)?
- What is the version of Acrobat (9/X/XI)?
- Which link did you click to access the "Complimentary Benefit page"?
Thanks,
Varinder

    Hi,
I'm getting this error which has also been reported by other users:

Is there something that can be done?

    Hi David,
I logged in with my Adobe ID and was directly taken to a profile page "Your Account / Personal Information". On this page there was a banner "Claim your exclusive benefit today". By clicking the link I received the error:
Missing data: Unable to find a product registration record associated with your e-mail address (Adobe ID). If you feel this is incorrect, please contact Adobe customer support.
I had received similar offer already before so I was little supprised to receive it again.

  • Problems installing 8.0.2 update (unable to locate the product)

Hello, I'm trying to install the patch 8.0.2 for AAE CS3 on WinXP(32bit) SP3, but I'm getting a message "The updater is unable to locate the product to be updated.". Can I do something with that?

Yepp, as Jonas said, give them a call. On a guess I would assume that you installed to a non-standard path or another Adobe product has messed up the pertinent install info, but you never know, so it's best to contact phone support and explain the situation and steps taken so far.

    Hello,
I am trying to use Visibroker (Borland version 6.5) with JDK 1.5.2

    Hi,
I don't know if you got an answer to this problem. It looks like you need to install Borland Service Pack 1 (for BES 6.5) to fix this issue. I spent a couple of days squirming, trying to figure out this issue.
    Hope this helps.

  • [SOLVED] No boot after update unable to find root device|libmount.so.1

    Hi,
after my most recent update, which was the first for a long time, I am getting the following error when trying to boot my system:
mount: /lib/libmount.so.1: version 'MOUNT_2.20' not found (required by mount)
cat: can'topen '/proc/cmdline': No such file or directory
ERROR: Unable to find root device ' '
The same for MOUNT_2.21. This error still persists after chroot manual installs of util-linux and glibc. I tried downgrading util-linux still witout success. Following reply #15 of: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1130638 did not solve it either.
I also reinstalled grub just to be on the safe side, but nothing helped.
    Please help.
    Thanks

    https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pa … nger_boot.
If you fucked up the glibc migration (read "The /lib directory becomes a symlink" from the archlinux.org front page), there are countless threads about this, including a big one (350+ replies) in the "Pacman & Package Upgrade Issues" category. I'm sure you will find some answers there.

  • Software update unable to find update!

When I launched iPhoto, a dialog box popped up saying that ver 6.0.5 was available.
I accepted the update now option and software update launched. It searched for updates and told me that all my software was up to date.
I tried this several different ways, tried turning off automatic software update, all to no avail.
I've noticed that software update often won't find updates (it's set to check daily) but the individual software programs will (the iPhoto example is the last of several similar occurrences)
I'm forced to visit the apple software update page and manually download and install the updates.
Any ideas on why this is happening? Corrupted software update files?
    Thanks,
    Woodbarth

The solution is simple. The software I didn't install since many months (iPod updater, iSight updater, Apple Remote Desktop etc.) isn't listed any more by SU. That's why it says "no updates, all is up to date".
Don't know the objective or this change made by Apple. Maybe it's the spotlight policy:
    - Spotlight doesn't find and the user should believe the searched items don't exist on the HD... but they exist
    - SU doesn't show all updates and the user believes there are no updates available... but there are updates available ?-/

  • Hp-mkuri can't find support-type; hp can't write data; I can't print

At work, I use an HP LaserJet 1320 over USB. This was working great - and with no particular fiddling needed to get it to work. However, I've started having some problems. I had some issues last Saturday but I thought it was a blip because it apparently randomly got over them and printed just fine. Today, however, I tried to print a 20 page PDF document using lp <filename> from the command line. The response of the printer was to repeatedly flash an orange warning light. The printer status just showed "Processing..." Three and a half hours later, the light was still going and the status was still "Processing...". Examining running processes, the lp process was running and so was pdftops. That is, hours later, it had still apparently not finished converting PDF to PS.
The log files under cups don't show anything terribly interesting except that page_log contains:

There are no errors reported at this time in the cups error log. The last entry is:
E [04/Apr/2012:15:14:08 +0100] Unable to bind socket for address [v1.::1]:631 - Cannot assign requested address.
There's a good chance that the system didn't have access to any printer at the time (except cups-pdf). I wasn't printing and I don't usually turn the printer on or connect it until I need it.

The last type of message fills a good many more lines. Some of the non-finding-device errors earlier are from me connecting and disconnecting the printer etc. I think. i.e. they are not why it isn't working.

I'm a bit confused by this. I don't usually use hp-systray (that I know of). That's the great thing about this printer - I just configured it all through the cups web interface with no need to use hp's printer setup tools or  to install any plugin - it didn't need one. But hp/hplip_ac.log says:

Could anyone advise me? I tried searching the forums but although I can find posts on issues similar to other printing problems I've had, I can't find any which look quite like this.

I've figured out that this is happening only with certain pdf documents but I'm not sure why. (None contain pictures or diagrams or anything like that.)
Printing a different pdf today, the behaviour is still very strange, though. Basically, I printed a 120 page pdf. Initially, it printed a bit. As far as the computer was concerned, the job was successfully completed. The printer flashed its lights. I pressed a button and it completed the first 56 pages. I then sent 57-120 to the printer. Again, it printed 57-something and then, again, nothing. Job done as far as the computer was concerned. Flashing lights on the printer. In the end, it took 4 or 5 jobs to finish the document.
What's odd about this is that I usually have no problems at all with this printer and this isn't the first time I've sent it a large document.
It is almost as though the computer sends stuff too fast or something for the printer or sends more than the printer can cope with at once. So when it has finished that bit, it waits for the next bit but the computer thinks it has sent the lot and no more is sent. I don't know if that is possible but that's what it "looks" like!

  • Asked to register - unable to find my adobe ID

    Hi Guys,
I've just booted up my machine and a window prompt appeared asking me to register my account for exclusive benefits.
Upon completing the form I was directed to a page titled 'Adobe CS5' and the message
'Missing data: Unable to find a product registration record associated with your e-mail address (Adobe ID). If you feel this is incorrect, please contact Adobe customer support.'
I have just signed up for CS6 about 10 days ago, as far as I'm aware I have never had anything to do with CS5.
    Cheers,
    Dave

  • Setup can not find a supported product

&Setup can not find a supported product3 I have an XFi XtremeGamer and I tried to update the console launcher and received the error that setup could not find a supported product. I have had this machine for 2 years on XP, and I used the autoupdate feature on the website. This feature found the device on my machine and listed a few updates including the console launcher. I would think if there was a problem, the autoupdate would issue some kind of error. I was able to update the driver on 2/7/08 without any problems using the autoupdate with the website, and I did install the wave studio suite yesterday with autoupdate without issues too. I have made no hardware changes to this machine. Device Manager lists the device as working properly. I do have sound from the card. I tried to download the launcher.exe package with the same result. It would seem that I would have had more issues if the card wasn't installed correctly including the?autoupdate feature not?working and not finding the card and other autoupdate software packages not installing correctly.
    Any ideas? Thanks.

You say you have iOS6: you can perfectly well pay to extend your free storage as an ex-MobileMe subscriber.
If you wish to continue your current storage level, the instructions are here:

Scroll down to 'How do I purchase my current plan?' and expand the section applicable to iOS.

  • Sun Studio is unable to find a supported version of Java ...?

Gentlemen I need your assistance, I'm trying to install SunStudio, and I get this error.
    # /opt/sun/sunstudioceres/bin/sunstudio
Sun Studio is unable to find a supported version of Java.
Sun Studio supports Java version 1.5.0_03 and newer and looks for a valid Java installation in the following order:
    1) Location specified with --jdkhome command line option
    2) In PATH environment variable
    3) At /usr/jdk/latest location, if exists
    4) At /usr/java location, if exists
    5) At /usr location, if exists.
I'm using FC9, and I have installed the following in Java
    # rpm -qa | grep java
    libgtk-java-2.8.7-2.fc6.i386
    sun-javadb-demo-10.4.1-3.1.i386

    java-1.5.0-gcj-1.5.0.0-21.fc9.i386
    sun-javadb-docs-10.4.1-3.1.i386
Can somebody help me to see what I'm missing, and how can I point to the right direction?

You have GNU Java 1.5.0. In order to use IDE and Performance Analyzer you need to install SUN Java 1.6.0.
    [http://developers.sun.com/sunstudio/downloads/ssx/express_November2008.html|http://developers.sun.com/sunstudio/downloads/ssx/express_November2008.html] :
The Sun Studio package installer, IDE, and Performance Analyzer require Java SE Development Kit (JDK) 6 Update 3 or higher, which can be downloaded from the [Java SE Downloads site|http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/?intcmp=1281] if the required version is not available on your target platform.
