CMSS no longer working in vista for my SB Live 24 Bit ca

With the latest drivers from creative cmss was working fine. Just today when i restarted cmss stopped working. I went into the audio console and tried turning it off and on again to see if it would work but it didnt. I then procedded to reinstall the drivers and that didnt work either. Can anyone explain how my cmss suddenly stopped working?
Also note when doing a speaker test all 5 speakers and subwoofer respond with no issues, so its not a souncard or speaker problem. its a driver/vista problem.

Iphone 4 since upgrade to ios 5.1.1 no longer works with made for itunes, iphone devices.

Ever since I upgraded to IOS 5.1.1 my Iphone no longer works for playing music thorugh my Apline car unit, My Logic 3 clock radio, and a Next made for ipod device.
I can sync through ITunes on the PC and can also play videos through the HDMI adapter.   My wifes iphone 4s and the kids hand me down iphone 3s still play fine through these made for Itunes , Ipod , Iphone devices.
I want to downgrade back to the prior IOS I had before Apple encouraged me to install this bugged one.   How do I go about getting a legit non jailbroken prior IOS version installed on my Iphone?
Is Apple aware of this issue , as I have seen blogs about this it is affecting other people?   Will this issue be resolved with ios 6?
Can I get the beta ?

Agreed. Same thing here. Just bought a late model Alpine INE-S920Hd and it is all kinds of broken. I think this is happening because Apple shifted the music and video. Totally buggy. Bluetooth refuses to work properly, too. A2dp keeps stealing the audio from Pandora in the Alpine interface. The ipod controls dont work at all.

Keynote remote app no longer working with keynote for ipad

noticed after upgrading that the keynote remote does not pair with keynote for the ipad. Any suggestion on a resolution or anyone else experiencing this issue?

I didn't realize until I went to a class to lecture in front of a couple hundred students that what worked on Friday no longer worked on Monday. (I upgraded to iOS 5 over the weekend.) My iPad with lecture slides was plugged in 25 feet away. I finally recruited a student to tap the iPad screen when I needed the next slide. A nightmare. What is usually slick and seamless was a wreck.
Here's my deal. My remote app works fine at home where my iPod Touch and iPad are on the same wifi network. At school they're on different networks for some reason. Bluetooth doesn't work anywhere. So Apple needs to find this bug and fix it. I can't believe whoever is responsible for this didn't test this out before they released iOS 5. Sheesh.

After upgrading to iOS 7, SIRI no longer works and settings for SIRI are missing

I upgraded an iPad 2 to iOS 7 and since then SIRI no longer works when pressing the HOME button. The settings for SIRI has also disappeared in the GENERAL settings. I have searched and found no posts with this issue!

Latest updates to Apple caused Nano 7th generation to no longer work with vista

Hi, Itunes updates occurring thi summer (2014) seem to have compromised my Nano 6th generation's ability to sync with Vista. It does sync with my Win 7 and Win 8 machines, however. All of the suggestions put forth by Apple to resolve this Nano issue are, sadly, not working. I sincerely believe that this is an Apple/Vista problem, and wonder if there is a patch. I suspect not as Vista is going to be outmoded in early 2015, but if there are suggestions outside of the R's, I'd appreciate some input from the community. The ipod is recognized by the computer, and it is able to 'juice', but the sync feature is not available. Any ideas? Old operating system for me, likely going to be retired - but I'm sure I'm not alone with the nano/itunes 11+ updates. I have options and access to other operating systems, but other folks may not, so if there is any way to address this Itunes/Vista issue, that would be a big help.

Make sure your headset is in pairing mode before attempting to pair again to your nano.

Aiport Expresses No Longer Working - Airport Utility for Windows 5.6.1

I have two airport express devices, each connected to a stereo to stream itunes. Both have abruptly stopped working and the Airport Utility no longer recognizes either device. Neither device is available in itunes as a "speaker" anymore. When I run the airport utility scan, I receive the following message:
"Airport utility was unable to find any airport devices......." The devices are in range (always have been and have always worked up until now).
What I have tried so far:
Uninstall and reinstall Airport Utility
Reset the airport express devices
Same results as before, Airport utility is unable to find either device.

Scroll bar no longer works in iTunes for Mac in Downloads window

I have a strange issue.
When I look at my list of downloads in iTunes (I have 100+ active - lots of podcasts for family) the vertical scroll bar appears but it does not work. I cannot use the arrows at bottom nor can I click in scroll bar or drag window. I am only able to use my magic mouse to move up and down in the window.
This does _not_ happen in other windows. Have looked through dozens of posts but can't find a fix.
Anyone have any ideas?

The problem is that your Flash Player is not current. Check this to see what the current version is (vs what you have) and here to get the latest version. There is supposed to be a major security issue in the version you've got so Apple is blocking its use. In any case, don't get Flash Player from anywhere except Adobe.

Why is Google Toolbar no longer working? Same for using Gmail.

Last night, I updated two add-ons (one of them was Personas, but I forget the other). Immediately after, I kept getting a stop script error. Then Google Toolbar just stopped working. The buttons disappeared or stopped working, as did the search bar. I uninstalled it and went to bed. This morning, I tried to open an e-mail in Gmail (like I've always been able to do) by clicking the mailto link, and nothing comes up. I checked and my setting is correct in the Applications tab of Firefox.
Does anyone know what's going on? I also should add that a couple of days ago, I updated Java as well. But this problem didn't come up right away. Running in safe mode and trying mailto links again does not solve the problem.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes). 
See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and [[Troubleshooting plugins]] 
 
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears. 
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions. 
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

Help I need to locate a driver for my soundblaster live 24 bit soundcard

My son has been given the following PC games for christmas:-
Command & Conquer 3,
Command & Conquer Red Alert 3,
Arma; Armed Assault,
Medal of Honour: Airborne
The problem he is having installing these 4 games is this. About half way through installation an error message appears that quite simply states "The software you are installing does not bear a WHQL signed driver. This software will not be installed".
The PC we are running is a Dell Dimension 900, that we purchased about 4 years ago, and it was bespoke.
I have run DxDiagnostics and it tells me that the driver for the graphics card is called p7.sys and the sound card are not WHQL logo'd, so how the hell do i download a driver for my soundblaster Li've 24 bit, that does? bear a digital signatre that is WHQL Logo'd. I hope you can help, me please.

Well, what you can do is now is ignoring the WQHL pop-up window and choose the "install anyway" option during the installation of the soundcard driver, since WQHL only means the driver is tested by Microsoft and nothing more; drivers without the WQHL qualification does not mean they are bad drivers, they usually works as good as the WQHL ones.
Ofcourse you can also download the official drivers for the mentioned Soundblaster li've 24bit at Creative Labs support/download site.

The driver is for all Soundblaster Audigy Value, SE, LS and Soundblaster Li've 24bit, since they are all based on the CA-006 soundchip (with other words Creative Labs renamed the soundcard several times). Also this driver should be WQHL-ed (if not, choose "install anyway" option during installation of the soundcard driver). Make sure you have uninstalled the older driver before installing the new one. For troubleshooting use utilies like "Driver Cleaner" or "Driver Sweeper" (google for Guru3D and go to the site and their download section to get the utilities/tools) to clean up the junk files of the older driver that are left in the Windows OS.

i downloaded the update for the soundblaster li've 24 bit but when i click on the update nothing happen no options on the screen it only show that is extracting the file what can i do about it

CMSS-3D not working at a

Hi, i'm really confused. I've been searching for a solution for days now.
If you don't want to read the details, jump to SUMMING UP.
I've seen posts from late 2006 saying there is no support for 2.0 > 5. upmixing yet.
But then there seems to be people in vista with no problem at all and cmss-3d working.
My problem is that i'm on a 5. speaker configuration, and only get sound from the two front speakers whenever listening to 2.0 music. The sound-test works allright and i hear sound from every speaker. I also get sound from every speaker when watching movies with ac3filter, either upmixed or actual 5. tracks.
The quality of the sound is excellent, no hickups or popping, as i've read about. In fact i have never had problems with crackling or popping.
Anyway, i have tried everything i can think of. I have tried all three modes in the audio console, as well as the different speaker setup-settigs (2.,4.,5.,7.), in every combination. I've tested the beta driver, the "final" driver and now recently the youppax pack. I have played around with the THX-console and tried disabling/enabling audio enhancments in the built in windows sound-setup.
Nothing i do inside the CMSS-3D panel in the audio console makes any difference. Not the slider, not the Surround/Xpand setting. Not even enabling or disabling CMSS-3D. The CPU usage is the same wether it's enabled or disabled.
Since i cannot get ac3filter to upmix the iTunes sound stream, i still only get 2.0 sound from it
Also, I recently thought about ac3filter giving me a dolby digital outstream from every imaginable source. So i was thinking, is there any program, or workaround, to put ac3filter as a uni'versal output-mixer for ALL sound reproduced by all programs? That would be very much like the AC3-encoding option i had on my previous built in Soundstorm card, that came with nforce2 motherboards.
SUMMING UP: does CMSS-3D/upmixing work in vista, and how do yo get it to work?
i'm using vista x86, with xtreme music.
The rest is a regular opteron 46 /dfi expert configuration, with 2 gb ram.

This Nightly feedback, Steganos password Manager drop and drag functionality no longer works after last update.

I too have the problem: W7 64 bit. Drag and drop worked until yesterday when I "upgraded" to FF v 26.0 - I can no longer drag passwords etc from my password manager to website fields - a barred circle appears when I try to drag.
I tried pressing ESC (one profferred solution) and also reset FF to no avail.
This is more than annoying: some of my passwords are dozens of characters long and there's no way I can access sites by typing them in! I need a solution, even if it's reverting to a previous version.

Q10 - there is a voice and my touch screen no longer works

My touch screen on my phone has stopped being responsive, however, I have noticed that there is now a voice which states whatever I press, though the phone will not take me into that application, i.e. if I tap contacts, it says contacts and yet I remain on the home screen. My question is therefore,
1) How do I turn this function off and
2) is it this function that has messed up my phone or does it just no longer work?

My sound no longer works, my sound no longer works

Since i downloaded new OS my sound no longer works, this if for itunes, spotify and trying to listen to youtube videos

I just found out that a few of my slideshows have the music intact. For the rest, it looks like I will have to go through the cumbersome process of re-loading the music.
I can't tell is this was caused by the Mavericks upgrade or Iphoto Update.
