Here is an article I found on Cnet, that reports iCloud being down for 2nd day, with no explanation of why, or when it will be back up.
I am posting this so you won't think it's YOUR computer.

Praise goes to Anthony Rayner_ (http://anthonyrayner.blogspot.com/) for a very instructive blog and smooth example applications.
Anyway, found out what the problem is: Some of my columns are derived from LOVs. In the column 'Report properties > List of Values > Column filter type' my default was 'Use defined list of values to filter exact match', so always all lov entries are available as filters. With e.g. 'Default based on Column type', the application now actually only states values present in the current (potentially pre-filtered) view.
I guess sometimes it is easy... :-/

Iphone 6 been restoring from icloud backup for 9 days and still not finished?

I got my iPhone 6 on the 19th when it came out. It's an ATT 128 gb model. I started restoring from icloud backup on that Friday (9 days ago). It still is saying it's restoring from backup. Daily it's asking me to delete the data or keep downloading. This phone is for my business, so the info is very important. I am also worried that all the things in the last week have yet to be backed up since then, because I can't back it up till the restore is complete. I also can't do the new software update 8.0.2. I am on a fast WIFI nearly 18+ hours a day and I can surf the net just fine, but why is my restore from 9 days ago still not finished?

This needs to get improved. I had the exact same issue migrating my 5 and wife's 5S previously. It's never worked well. We need status bars, and indications of what has been copied, what remains to be copied, and ways to resume it and pause it without hoping it works and getting messages in the morning asking if you want to resume it, making you wonder if anything actually occurred overnight. The message doesn't pop up within 10 minutes of connecting to power and wi-fi so I have no idea how long it actually takes to come up.
It's unacceptable to think any device owner wants to roll the dice and hope they have all their data. We use these devices for our jobs and that data is critical for some of us. It's not all just pictures of the dog! Even though those are critical, too!! It would be different if this wasn't a known issue and the resolution wasn't so easy...get this fixed!!!

Interactive Reports: Can values for 2nd filter be limited by first filter?

I have a question for the inbuilt filter tool of interactive reports in apex 4.0.2.00.07. Let's assume my IR data looks like:
Col1:*Col2*
A:1
A:2
B:3
If I click on the header of Col1 I will be presented with filter possibilities "A" and "B" and can e.g. set a filter to Col1=A which leaves me with the following view
Col1:*Col2*
A:1
A:2
Now, if I click on the heading of Col2 to set another filter, I can still select value "3" as well.
In some cases it would be nice if for any additional filter only those filter values were presented which are still relevant and allow further narrowing of results (like something in the way of LOV cascading). I.e. in our example only "1" and "2", omitting "3". Is there a way to do this?

My phone has said its 'restoring from iCloud backup' for 2 days

I received my brand new iPhone 6 two days ago.
When I fired up the phone, I restored from iCloud back up that I did about 10 minutes before hand to make sure it was up-to-date.
Two days have passed, and my phone STILL says its restoring from iCloud backup yet everything is on the phone as far as I'm aware.
I have plugged it into my mac and synced to iTunes, yet its still displaying this message!
Can anyone help?

If you still have your old phone, back it up to your computer using iTunes (connect it, open iTunes, go to File>Devices>Back Up and choose to back up apps and transfer purchased if prompted). Then stop the iCloud restore (Settings>iCloud>Backup>Stop Restoring...hopefully you can still do this in iOS 8) and restore the backup on your computer (connect your new phone, open iTunes, go to File>Devices>Restore from Backup).
Be sure to save any new data you may have (such as new photos) before restoring the backup again.

Unfortunately, Apple does not yet allow merging of Apple ID's. if you were once using [email protected] as your Apple ID then there is no way to link that ID with the new one to avoid losing the previous data under that old ID. You will have to either go back to using the old ID to save the old data or just keep both, which you arfe allowed to do.

For the 2nd day my iPhone 5 will not let me download updates for apps. When i click update, it acts as if it is going to update but puts all apps in "waiting" status. I've tried selecting each, as well as deleting and re-downloading but to no avail.

Oh my gosh I had the EXACT same problem, and for ages I couldn't figure out how to fix it until today. Here's what I did:
First I went onto my computer, opened itunes, and un-installed tumblr, vine and kik. These were the apps I was having problems with (it said I had them on my phone but, like you, they didn't show).
Then I went to the itunes store, searched for each one, and it said I could update them so I did (just FYI: for tumblr a window popped up saying "please click ok to confirm you are 17 years or older", so I did that also)
When I went back to my phone and tried installing them again (still on my computer), it worked!

Icloud mail out on one account for two days in texas

Does anyone know what is wrong with icloud mail? My account is fine, husband's has not worked for two days. We are in the Dallas, Texas area.

This is a second day of no icloud service. Completely unacceptable! I've been an apple guy since 1985 but this is going to send me away. They want the iphone and ipad to be business tools - then it has to have back up systems in place. These are not toys to us! They had better not brag about icloud services at the announcement today - and they had better address the problem up front and admit to it at the event! It's all over the world and must be far more than the 1%. If that's the case - then they're just lying about the extent - which is really not cool.

You can set up a second ("secondary") iCloud account on your device by going to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Add Account>iCloud. Secondary accounts do have limitations. Only the primary account can be used for Photo Stream, Bookmarks, Documents, iCloud Backup and Find My Device. Push mail only works for the primary account; secondary account mail is fetch.

When you go to "Report a problem" next to the item (Great Gatsby) on the email invoice or on the online account - it takes you to online support - if you elect problems with iTune downloads the page NEVER opens... no email contact. Please help

This is bad - I have an Apple automated response that they got my report on 12/6, 12/10 and 12/14, and I haven't heard anything from them since the 6th when I got one reply that told me to do things I tried before reporting the problem. Between the 6th and 10th I replied to their response 4 times and they ignored me, forcing me to report a problem with two more items that wont download but getting no response.
How do they get away with this kind of behavior, especially for someone with FIVE Core 2 Duo macs and thousands of dollars of of iTunes store purchases? I'm getting really ******.
