CNF (Confirmed) in system status in CJ20N

Once again I request to help me..
What triggers the status CNF (Confirmed) in system status in project builder and how can this status be changed / removed?

Hi
Only activities can have "confirm' status in projects. Once the activities are confirmed its assciated network gets this status accordingly. The status is used to confirm actual work done on the activity as aganist planned.
To cancel the confirmation, usetransaction-CN29.

Dear Abhijit,
Try inserting the following Object Manually in the Role (through PFCG) for System Status
PS_RMPSSP
Select the required
Activity
Attribute Group
Attribute
Element Type ID
SRM Status ID
In Status ID
there is a option for Released, Restricted, Closed, Locked, Updated, Deleted.
Maintain these in the roles as per you requirement and test it with multiple test ID's

System Status INCM

Hello,
1. My Shopping cart is ordered and approved by the Approver as expected.
2. After approval the system attempts to update to update the shopping cart with the 'approved' status and release the shopping cart for follow on documents to be created.
During the step (2) while releasing the shopping cart for the follow on documents to be created the system raises error 'Unable to set status RELS, system status INCM is active'
Any idea what could be the reason? When I try to set release this manually it flows through successfully.

System status INCM is active while doing the confirmation from SRM

Hi,
User is getting the below error while trying to create confirmation in SRM for some of the PO's.
Partner XXX not found
System status INCM is active (Confirmation XXXX)
Partner not found XXX (Item 1)
The version is SRM 4.0 (Classic scenario). We have already checked the user profile and it is consistent in the system. The BP record for this user in table BUT000 is all fine. User is able to create the confirmation for other PO's. Also we have checked the G/L account for any posting period issue. Everything is fine. The error is coming while user is trying to do the confirmation for some of the PO's.
Any help is highly appreciated.

The error is coming while user is trying to do the confirmation for some of the PO's.
Check these POs to see if any of the partners are invalid. You could do this through "process purchase order" transaction. Sometimes this error occurs when one or several of the PO partners no longer exist, e.g. left the company, etc.

How to decide system status cnf teco clsd

My requirement is to select work orders( auart), planned hrs( arbei), actual hrs( ismnw ) based on 'date range', 'work order type', func location ( tplnr ), 'abc indicator ( abckz).
i have to list all work orders:
for a particular planning plant say '1000' , systm status including CNF, TECO, CLSD, excluding PCNF , CRTD , DLFL and REL, I have to include all work orders except SM02 and CP01 and also exclude work orders scheduled outside query period .
When the above is done, i need to sum planned work work hours scheduled for that week , divided by sum of planned work hrs.
I am done with select statement part, how can i find system status or how to calculate system status .

list all work orders ( auart) with planning plant '1000', system status including CNF, TECO, CLSD , excluding PCNF CRTD DLFL and REL, including all work order types except ' CP01' .
Then i have to sum planned work hrs scheduled for that period and divide by sum of planned work hrs .
say if sum of earned hrs is 10 and planned work hrs scheduled are 20 then
10/20.
Here i have to find earned hrs from AUFK table.
Basically i would like to know about system status , whether it depends on planned hrs and earned hrs or just i have to extract it from JEST or use status_read.

Exit for CJ20N where system status changes can be captured

Hi Experts,
I need exit for CJ20N where system status changes can be captured
for both the below cases
1) When WBS Element is having Networks inside it
2) when WBS Element is having no networks inside it
EXIT_SAPLCOBT_001 --->>> ZXCO1U01 , will work for 1) , but not for 2)
i want an exit where status change gets captured for both cases 1 and 2 and
will do further processing according to client needs based on status change
Need to trigger IDOC on status change of WBS element.
If WBS is having network inside it , then network status changes also with WBS status change
and IDOC should trigger for WBS also.
I just want suitable exit / place for coding . Rest i can do.
if no suitable exit / BADI , then what is the best possible place where i can go for Implicit Enhancement

I am kind of stuck in a similar issue. I need to perform custom validations on standard fields which cannot be done through OPSI or OPUC transactions. 0007 or 0002 User exits seem to assist on custom field creations/validations. However, I do see people posting the following BADIs which may be useful.
CO_SRULE_CHECK
PROJECTDEF_UPDATE
WORKBREAKDOWN_UPDATE (which you already tried)
WBS_FIELDS_FOR_ASSET
CO_SRULE_CDOC
Let me know if any of these worked out...

there many other error message thrown at bottom side
any user locked of for network / PM order order in the PO
some message will be thrown
share taht message for more help.

USEREXIT / BADI to get WBS elem system status before&after for WBS in CJ20N

Hi friends,
Please help me out to capture the WBS element system status after and before the changes in CJ20N tcode, the status has to be posted to the P I system.
Please let me know if any user exit exists for CJ20N.I am not able to find any in CMOD.
I have tried using the BADI's WORKBREAKDOWN_UPDATE and
PROJECTDEF_UPDATE .
but was not able to capture the changed system status .
Is there any other way to capture the system status and post them to PI.

Hi Afzal,
The User wants to get it posted to the PI system as soon as the system status of WBS element is changed.
I am already done with RFC FM for this purpose which gets the changed status of all PROJECTS-WBS elements.
Our team is facing some probs with connecting to PI through RFC.
Getting 'SYSTEM_FAILURE' error, when executing the RFC with PI system's destination.Not able to trace out the probs, they have tested the connection with IDOC which was a success and able to post the PI.
They want me to capture the data in USEREXIT/BADI and some how trigger the IDOC with back ground job scheduled.

User Status and System Status - CJ20n

I would like to know if any problem but when i have the user status and the system status are filled those fields no longer appear in the TC CJ20N.
What could be the problem??

Didn't you activate que status exit?
If yes, you problem is there, you have to pass the information from IMPORT to EXPORT in your exit, or deactivate it.

with the system statuses I00xx can select / filter Statuses of Work Order Header and Work Order Operations. I am looking for status with belongs to "DSPT" & "PRT" on operation level. Where can I get an overview for this statuses.

Hi,
Not sure if i have understood your need correctly, but you can check in COOIS, select operations in List & you will get the details at operation level & their status. You can filter out only those status which you need.
If my understanding of your need is not correct, please let me know.

You have to configure selection profile to get the required data in reports like CN43N etc.
T-code BS42.

once u pass required data to this FM , u will get all status of the PM order , from that status table u have to check weather it is closed or Technically Completed or Confirmed orders. So here u have to looop status table with these conditions.
sample code will be.
loop at itab.
read statustab with key order = itab-order
stat = 'CLSD'.
if sy-subrc ne 0.
check for TECO.
if sy-subrc ne 0.
check for CNF.
else.
here no need to consider other orders which are not in that given list.
endif.

System status and user status Priority

Hi All,
We have system status and user status for the production order, I would like to know which has higher priority.
E.g In system status some business activity are not allowed but at the same time for user status those activites are active, then which status has high priority.

Hi,
As per my understanding both the status work together. If User status forbids a business transaction and system status allows it, then also the business transaction cannot be carried out.
Also if system status forbids a business txn and user status allows that, then also you wont be able to carry out the txn.
Both work with "AND" condition.

Added: you can try it by creating a User status profile. Allow Goods Movement to CRTD status. Now dont release the production order, only save it. Then try issuing goods (261), the system will block you.
Now, other way round, forbid GR without confirmation. Though System Status allows GR without CNF or PCNF status, but the user status will forbid the transaction.

System status as per our requirement

It’s not recommended to change standard system status set up as this can have influence on different SAP modules…
But coming back to your original question your request could be realized by calling t-code BS22
Where for system status I0045 – TECO you set business transaction RMVR – ‘Confirm transaction’ as forbidden. Please see attached print screen.
Then when making time confirmation system will display following error message: System status TECO is active, Message no. BS013

How to find out System Status of WBS Elements?

Hi PS Experts!
Please help me on my query.
I want to get a list of WBS elements whose status is Released and can be used.
If I try to search the table PRPS, it can only help me in finding WBS elements without deletion flag, with RA Key and so on.
But the System status (such as Blocked for use) etc. is not present in the table.
The one way I know is to get Object Number of WBS element from PRPS Table and insert it in JEST Table to get system status.
Or alternatively, I give the WBS element no. in CJ20N t-code, and then check for System Status.
These 2 methods work, if I do it one WBS Element at a time. If I need to get thousands of WBS elements in such a fashion, it's tedious.
So could anyone help me on this issue?

Yes, you have put it rather correctly.
We use WBS elements for booking and posting time (client requirement). So what I am looking for is WBS Elements with the system status TERL (Time and Expense Released).
I talked of the deletion flag also, because a WBS element flagged for deletion can't be used. It's one of the criteria to screen the WBS elements.
