CNO showing false information
I am testing SQL 2012 sp2, 2 node high availability configuration. Configuration is set for manual failover. After a failover each node performs as expected. On primary node database goes from synchronized to synchronizing and vice versa for secondary
node. Checking each individual node, database in synchronized mode can be updated. Data is sync'd to other node as designed.
The weird thing is the CNO is displaying false information. When I am on the primary node it is displaying that it is on the secondary node and vice versa. Therefore, the CNO is useless. I have to go to each individual node. What am I missing?
SQL or cluster logs are showing no errors.
Thanks
If I'm understanding you correctly, it looks as though (and I'm going out on a limb here) there is a communications issue happening (as the database is synchronizing but never synchronized). That's where I'd start, as I'm not sure if I'm following correctly.

I know of a family member that has filed (called) a false claim of 5 phones on their account being lost or stolen just to have them suspended, is there anything that can be reported or someone that can be notified to report this issue and/or can they get into trouble for filing or claiming false information?
Why claim lost or stolen? Why not just suspend the lines? In any case, the lines can be suspended, with or without payment, even without reporting them lost or stolen. The only point to reporting them that way is to prevent them from being used on another account.
If they were to try and replace them via insurance, there would be a deductible to pay. They may need to show proof if reported as stolen (police report).
I guess I'm puzzled as to the motive behind reporting them to be lost or stolen rather than a simple suspension. -
When I try to play a song on my iPod Touch, it shows the information screen for the song and then skips to a new song but then goes back to the main playlist page without ever playing a song! Help!
thats tough man, yeah exchanging it is the best option. But why do people always leave a message saying" i'll probably just by an ipod" and it's usually followed by, "even though i don't like apple or ipod" . I mean fine, if u feel like giving up on the zen micro thats fine, i personally don't care if you're going to buy an ipod. for god sakes ipod isn't even the next alternati've mp3 players, theres plenty. Are u just trying to get the creative people saying "oh man we lost another one to ipod" cuz i'm sure they don't lose sleep over u wanting to buy an ipod instead of a zen. *done ranting*

I have made a burn folder with photos exported from I-photo. It now shows in information, that the date created and modified is different from the original digitized date. How can I get the original date to show in the info from Finder?
The Finder reports File information. The date and time of the photo are in the Photo's Exif metadata. The Finder has no awareness of this. All photos apps on any system do.

Trying to get team planner to show more information
Is there any way to get team planner to show more information about the tasks? In calendar view, you can set the bars to display all sorts of information, but I can't seem to find the equivalent in Team planner. I want the bars to display, hours work and
one custom field, as well as the task name.
On this subject, I'm sure I must be missing something, but project seems to have missed the point of breaking tasks down into manageable sections. For example, I have a project, say 'Build house', summary tasks might be 'build conservatory', 'build kitchen'.
Each might have 'put in windows', the first task of which might be to get quotes. All that then appears in team planner, or any of the resource management views is the task name 'get quote', with no idea which summary task it belongs to. I have to write the
correct summary task in a custom field for each task, surely this can't be the best way to do it?Hi,
The good news is that the resouce usage view has a field called Task Summary Name, so no need for a custom field.
The bad news is that yes, you cannot modify the Team Planner view.
Hope this helps, -
Want to show an information message in PA30 screen
Hi ABAP gurus,
For Infotype9000,subtype RHUB(newly configured) ,I want to show an information message in PA30 initial screen for operations 'Create','Copy' and 'Delete'. For that , I have used a BADI (hrpad00infty) , written code in PBO method of the BADI.
The problem is this, we cannot show the message in PA30 screen,else it is showing a pop-up dialog box (information msg. is missing in the dialog box) in the next screen.
Our Requirement:
1. For the above mentioned operations , we want to show the information message in the PA30 initial screen.
Please post your valuable comments.Hi
What you're trying to do is not really obvious for someone that's familiar with the usual USER-EXITs and BADIs in HR but there's a possible workaround using the BADI HR_F4_GET_SUBTYPE and its GET_SUBTYPE_TEXT method for your 9000 IT
METHOD if_ex_hr_f4_get_subtype~get_subtype_text.

"Dependecies" tab doesn't show any information for a selected table version 4.0
Hello,
I work with SQL Developer 4.0.0.13. I can see 20 tables in the list. When I select one table, in the tabs on the right side I can see information for "columns" and "data" and "constraints" and "indexes"... but the tab "Dependencies" doesn't show any information about references between this table and other tables in the schema.
Oracle database is v11.2
Can you please tell me what do I need to do in order to see information on "Dependencies" tab for a table?
Thank you,
MilanHi, here is my example of XML extension showing referencing tables:
Save the following XML to a file.
<items>

*Referencing Tables

<query>
<sql>SELECT
cfk.owner "OWNER",
cfk.table_name "TABLE NAME",
cols.column_name "COLUMN",
cfk.constraint_name "CONSTRAINT NAME",
cfk.delete_rule "DELETE RULE",
'SQLDEV:LINK:' || cfk.owner || ':TABLE:' || cfk.table_name ||
':oracle.dbtools.raptor.controls.grid.DefaultDrillLink' "LINK"
FROM
sys.all_constraints cpk,
sys.all_constraints cfk,
sys.all_cons_columns cols
WHERE
cpk.owner = :OBJECT_OWNER AND
cpk.table_name = :OBJECT_NAME AND
SUBSTR(cpk.table_name, 1, 4) != 'BIN$' AND
SUBSTR(cpk.table_name, 1, 3) != 'DR$' AND
cpk.constraint_type in ('P', 'U') AND
cfk.r_owner = cpk.owner AND
cfk.r_constraint_name = cpk.constraint_name AND
cfk.constraint_type = 'R' AND
cols.owner = cfk.owner AND
cols.constraint_name = cfk.constraint_name
ORDER BY
cfk.owner, cfk.table_name, cfk.constraint_name,
cols.column_name
</sql>
</query>

</items>
In SQLDeveloper select Preferences -> Database -> User Defined Extensions and click <Add Row>.
In the "Type" field enter "EDITOR" and in the "Location" field enter the path to the file with XML.
After restarting SQLDeveloper You should see a new tab "*Referencing Tables" for tables. -

Show files information with JFileChooser
Does anyone know how to use JFileChooser to show files information such as size, type and last modified when mouse moves over the files ?
This function seems to work well with FileDialog class under XP but does not work with JFileChooser.
JayRevealing hidden files and getting that error are 2 completely different thing. Even though you can't see hidden files in a finder window doesn't mean they are inaccessible to programs and the OS. They are just hidden from view to the user.

Some reports in SCCM 2012 show no information
Hello!
I have ran report "Computers with low free disk space (less than specified % free)" but it shows no information regardless of that what collection I select (All systems, custom created collections).
The reports about another hardware parts show the requested information successfully, for example about processor speed, hard disk space etc.
In addition to that, the report "Computers that meet the recommended system requirements for Windows 7" does not show any information either.
For information, the Hardware inventory works fine and there are no errors related to client status.
Also in report "Logical disk space history for a specific computer" I can't select Values for "Computer name field" as it's inactive.
I can't understand why some reports don't work correctly, as in SCCM2007 all worked fine without any reports and settings customization.
Does anyone encountered with such issues? Should I extend any inventory classes or enable any ones?I have found some information about situation with free disk space reporting on URL http://e-enfra.blogspot.com/2012/02/sccm-2012-free-disk-space-is-not.html
I hope it will help me.
But the other questions still remain. -
Was given false information in store about accounts and billing, how to proceed?
Hello everyone,
13 days ago i joined up with Verizon after careful consideration of several cellular service providers and they were a great 13 days until i received my bill.
It was at the Reynoldsburg OH Verizon wireless store where i was being helped by a friendly lady that told my wife and myself that:
1. My cell phone service (unlimited talk and text) was going to only cost me 10 dollars a month.
2. My family/group account that i was going to be added onto would not change except for the data plan to be capped at 10 gig.
So at the end of the month i was expecting a bill of , as the nice lady told me : 10.00 USD.
Instead i was confronted with a bill of 88.00 USD, a discrepancy of 78.00 USD.
A activation fee of 35.00 USD, 12.00 USD for the amount of days in the current month and 30.00 USD for the coming month.
Plus additional minor charges regarding federal/state taxes i have never heard of.
To conclude, we were given false information and we specifically asked about this subject with these questions.
"Will our group plan be changed if i am added onto it?"
"Will i be paying only 10 USD a month or are there additional charges?"
So my question is, what is the most efficient way to get this matter resolved as my family is ready to switch to a different provider because of this.
This is off-topic but we are already trying to deal with a third party water utility company that is taking advantage of current Ohio lack of regulation and charging us double what we use plus service charges.
Thank you in advance,
Willem

I'm sorry we don't offer unlimited talk and text, plus a data plan for only $10.00 on a single line. If you added a line to an existing share everything plan, it depends on the device. There is a $10.00 add on option; however, that is for tablets only. In addition, taxes and surcharges are billed for all lines. What type of device did you add? What existing plan do you have currently? Here's more information on our share everything plans for your reference. http://bit.ly/xdDajD

Server Monitor is showing no information
I have a Apple G5 Xserve running 10.4.11
I monitor it remotely via Server Monitor tools
Today the entry for this server was showing no information at all
There is the IP address in my list - then a black disk next to where the name of the server normally appears, but no name.
Then a Black disk with a ? in it in the "status summary" field, with no green dots.
If I ARD to the remote server and run the Server monitor tools locally using the 127.0.0.1 loopback address. This shows exactly the same locally as above
Anybody have any clues as how to resolve this? - Just re-installing Server Administration tools package?
I'd rather try and understand whats causing it first, than just blindly re-installing packages.
Any help would be appreciatedHi
Is the daemon associated with Server Monitor running? It's called hwmond. You should see its presence either in Activity Monitor or via the command line using the "top" utility. You may want to read this:
http://www.manpagez.com/man/8/hwmond/
I'd also look at the log and see if anything unusual pops up around the time it stopped working.

Software inventory report and PC show different information
Hi,
The scenario is the following:
SCCM 2012 R2.
Clients with windows 8.
The report "Software registered in Add Remove Programs on a specific computer" and "Programs and Features" show different information.
Programs and features screenshot(ordered by name):
Report screenshot (ordered by name):
The question is:
Is the above normal behavior?
if not
How to get in the report "Software registered in Add Remove Programs on a specific computer" all of the software listed in "Programs and Features"?
Thanks in advance!Take a look at that device in Resource Explorer. Notice that on a 64-bit device there is an 'Installed Applications' class and and 'Installed Applications (64)' class. This data comes from the registry, and on a 64-bit operating system there
are actually two separate 'Add/Remove Programs' lists that are aggregated in the OS user interface.
If in Resource Explorer you see all of the software you expect to see, but not in the report, it is likely because the report is only looking at the 'Installed Applications' class and and not 'Installed Applications (64)' class.
If you enable the 'Installed Software' class (either by going into the client settings or the AI node), you will notice that the 'Installed Software' class is a combined version of both the 32-bit and 64-bit applications. This is much easier to report
off of.
I hope that helps,
Nash
