CO delta extractors: How to delete single init uploads?

Hi Gurus,
i'm uploading COPA data with parallel initializations. I'm initializing data with different selections criteria, for example:
init for SOCIETY X - EXERCIZE 2008
init for SOCIETY Y - EXERCIZE 2008
init for SOCIETY Z - EXERCIZE 2008
init for SOCIETY X - EXERCIZE 2007
This works, but i'm not able to delete  a single initialization: when i try to delete one in IP "Scheduler -> Initialization for this source" the system deletes all initializations.
Is somene able to help me?
Thanks
Piero

Thanks for the answer,
but so i don't understand which is the utility of the parallel initializations.
How can i reinitialize only a selected period instead of all COPA DATA ( millions or records to initialize) when in COPA runs transaction KEND???
Now R/3 is 4.6C version but we are migrating to ECC 6.0.
Thanks
Piero

  • Custom delta extractor: All data deleted in source table in R/3

    Hi everyone,
I have made a custom delta extractor from R/3 to a BW system. The setup is the following:
The source table in R/3 holds a timestamp, which is used for the delta. The data is afterwards loaded to a DSO in the BW system. The extractor works as expected with delta capability. Furthermore if I delete a record in the source table, this is not transmitted to the DSO, which is also as expected.
The issue is this however: If we delete all data in the source table, then on the next load there is a request showing 1 record transfered to the DSO. This request does, however, not show up in the PSA, and afterwards all data fields in the DSO is set to initial.
Does anyone know why this happens?
    Thank you in advance.

    Hi Philip,
As you have used generic extractor I am not sure how the ROCANCEL will work but you can check the below link for more information,

  • Lifelog, how to delete single activity

Hi, how can i delete a single activity like photos that i already taken?
I have the last lifelog app version, where one of the new is features is  -Delete single activity-
I could not find any option to do this.

I feel your pain.. it don't matter how many times you press that button the activity remains like a plauge!! (unless it's a sleep activity then it just disapears) but this has a little trash bin icon instead of the word delete... possibly just a faulty bit of code from the Devs??

  • How to delete singles of the week?

I want to remove a song from my itunes library and my iPhone 5 but i cant find anyway to do it. Its a single of the week song and i have no idea how it ended up in my library. I cant delete it from the the library and when it says it will "hide" the song it does nothing.

How does the track show in your library ? If it's downloaded (i.e. doesn't have the cloud icon) then you should be able to delete it in the usual way e.g. highlighting/selecting it on your computer's iTunes library and deleting it, swiping from right-to-left across it in the Music app on your phone.
If it has the cloud icon against it then hiding it (hiding it won't delete any downloaded copies that you have) via the Purchased section on your computer's iTunes should hide it from the cloud on your computer's iTunes and the Music app on your iPhone.

  • How to delete single MRP element line item

    Hi gurus,
I need to delete a SINGLE line item for an MRP list for materials.  Is there a transaction to do this?
I have tried MD08, but that only deletes whole lists.  I am trying to clear out old elements that are years old in my list for a material.
    I will reward useful answers
    Thanks!

    Hi,
It's very difficult to say what to do since I cannot see what you see, and I do not know anything about your system.
In MRP there are: stock, requirements (IndReq, DepReq), transactional data (PO, SO, Delivery, PurRqs, etc)
    1. What you should do is to define which materials are related in this issue.
    2. Which kind of MRP elements are related (you have got old requirements, transactional data, etc?).
If you have old requirements you should find the source of them. DepReq cannot be deleted > they come from higher levels > you should find where they come.
Do they derive from old transactional data?
Do they come from higher and higher level, I mean there are IndReqs, SOs for FG?
(you can use 'pegged' function if you click on the MRP element)
If you know from which kind of source they come (only they come from old transactional data or from IndReq, SO) > you should eliminate them accordingly.
    A. If they come from SO, IndReq you can use the steps written by me in my previous message. (You can use MD62 to delete old IndReq).
    B.
If they come from old transactional data, you have to find the way to eliminate them. Maybe you cannot eliminate them by mass processing, I do not know.
But you canmake groups / categorize the transactional data > after that maybe you can use mass change / handle them accordingly.
I mean if you have SO and Delivery, you cannot delete the SO when Delivery refering to that SO exist.
So, in case of requirements please delete the requirements (IndReq, SO) that exist at highest level and running MRP you will get rid of a lot of mess (top > down). In case of transactional data the strategy is the opposite: bottom > up.
If you get error messages > double click on it and read what SAP says > if it's not clear search for the number of the error message on the forum.
Sorrowfully, I cannot help in case of HU, I do not know them.

    Hi:l
This is my query which provides duplicate rows in my table:
    select count(*),CUSTMAST_REQUEST_SRNO,ACTIVITYMAST_SRNO,STATUSMAST_SRNO from REQUEST_TRANS having count(*)>1 group by CUSTMAST_REQUEST_SRNO,ACTIVITYMAST_SRNO,STATUSMAST_SRNO;
    O/p:

    2 |M985 | 74 |M6
    2 |M987 | 74 |M6
    2 |M992 | 74 |M6
    2 |M995 | 74 |M6
    2 |M998 | 74 |M6

If you want to delete all Duplicates and retain Only One row then Below:
    delete from REQUEST_TRANS a
    where rowid < ( select max(rowid) from REQUEST_TRANS b where a.CUSTMAST_REQUEST_SRNO = b.CUSTMAST_REQUEST_SRNO and a.ACTIVITYMAST_SRNO = b.ACTIVITYMAST_SRNO ... )

  • How to delete the delta queue in the ECC

    Hi everyone!
After I tryed to save a new Infopackage and I have the error :
(Deltas already loaded for request REQU_41Q82WJLR9AZCE9ZMKQLVG3RG init. selection; no 2. init
    Message no. RSM1071
    Diagnosis
Deltas have already been loaded for the init. selection of request REQU_41Q82WJLR9AZCE9ZMKQLVG3RG. A second initialization is therefore not possible with these selection conditions.
    Procedure
If you want to carry out a new initialization, you have to choose selections that do not overlap.
If you want to repeat the init. for the same selection, you have to delete the delta queue in the source system, and restart the delta process.
As the error says - Deltas have already been loaded for the init. selection.
Can you please give me some links/guids which describes how to  delete the delta queue in the source system, and restart the delta process.
    thank you, Ron

    Hi,
Assuming as you need to the reinit for same selections.
in such case you need to delete old init.
    how to delete init:
Go to your info pack screen, menu Scheduler--> initialization options for source system--> here you can see the existing init, select init(green) and delete it.
Later you can trigger your init info pack with selections.
    Thanks

  • I delete an Init load, how can i  correct it

    Hi all,
i deleted an Init load for a mistake, now this cube has a lot of data, how can i correct this mistake?

    Hello Jorge,
it depends upon what is the data source.
If the source is an DSO then just do an init without data transfer and thats all.
If the source is an R/3 data source then you may have to do a new init without data transfer and then you can load the historical data through Full repair loads based on a selection which you think should cover the delta lost for that particular day.
Since its a cube thereore first you should do a selective deletion from the cube for the same selections which you use to do full repair in the cube.
    Thanks

  • How to delete init request when load is taking place from ods to Cube

    Dear All,
I have initiated the init load from ODS to Cube, but the init request was not successfull... Now on clicking the init infopkg i get the short dump error....
I am trying to acess this infopkg so that i can delete the old init and reschedule it again...
Now in order to avoid this error i need to delete the init request somehow..... Since data load is happening in BW system only there is no way to go to delta queue and delete the init...
How can i delete the init request in this case or how do i avoid this dumup error???
    Thanks & Regards,
    Anup

From se11, go to the table, see the content... from this window mark the check box for relevant entries in the first column and click on Display button (F7)
enter "/h" in the command prompt and press enter
Click the top most green button to execute.
From the debugging screen, double click on variable "CODE" change the value to "DELE" (from "SHOW") and save (by pressing enter in bi7 and by clicking pencil icon in bw 3.x ).
    Press F8
In the result screen you will find the delete entry in the application bar
Delete one by one after ensuring the record content.
Better you can ask any abaper to delete the table entries in the debug mode coz its a production server..else you can call me 9500066350(I prefer you to go along with abaper if you have no option dont wait for calling).

  • How to delete a single request from DSO in BI 7.0

    Dear Experts,
Could you please tell me how to delete a single request from DSO?
I mean, in DSO if we delete one request it also delete the requests which are above it. But i don't to delete the above it.
    Please suggest me this issue.
    Regards,
    Prathap

IN DSO--its a very basic thing....
ACTIVE TABLE and CHANGELOG tables are overwritten after activation of each request.
So ,each new request has a realationsip with the older request.
    So in the cases:
1.If you activate the older request it will delete the new one ,because changelog entries have been written from the data of new request on the basis of the older one.
    e.g older request  entries:
    a x 1
    new request
    a x 2
    change log
    a x 1
    a x -1
    a x 2
so its quite obvious you can't have  a x 2 directly (because in the infocube you will be sending wrong entries by deleting the just the older request and loadning new request).
2.If you have activate new and old request toghterh then also system will not allow you to delete the newer request alone and you will have to delete both the requests.
I guess already someone proposed correct solution to you ...thats selective deletion...but rahter than doing selective deletion there is a better way if you want to cancel out a particular request:
    thats request reverst posting
IN the process monitor of any particular request you can find out the option for request reverse posting..Its good for individual request cancellation(keyfig values will become 0 for that particular request)

Is it possible to create a single texbox? and how to delete a button on a form? please asap, badly needed it right now. thx -regards gustavo

    Hello Gustavo,
You can create a single textbox using the textbox option here (This is for you to enter text - not for the visitor): http://jingsite.businesscatalyst.com/jing/2013-09-30_2212.png
If you want to create a textbox for the visitors to enter text, then you need to enter a form, and you can delete the "message" field from the "simple contact" form, but not the name and the email fields (those are mandatory and can't be deleted).
You may want to check external forms in case you want to have the form rather customized, to check if you can have forms with single textbox. An example would be "Jotform".
    Hope this helps.
    Cheers

  • Hello, I would like to know how to add or delete single cell in numbers.

Hello, I would like to know how to add or delete single cell in numbers.

If by delete you really mean clear the contents of a cell, then just click once on the cell and hit the 'delete' button.
    Before:
    After hitting delete button:
In some circumstances you can actually delete one cell.
For example here, I make this choice:
    Resulting in this:
So it's not strictly true that Numbers does not delete one cell, ever.  It can if you have a one-column table.
So never say never or not ever! Enough pedantry for today!

  • Time Machine Duplicates and How to Delete a Single Copy of Backed Up File ?

Here is the puzzle pieces , then the questions I'm asking
Example - my iPhoto Library file (its 36 gigs and yes I do create separate libraries)
If you add a single photo - Time Machine rightly sees a changed file and backs it up
Now I have Multiple Back ups of this large file
I want to delete only single back-up of this iPhoto file, NOT all instances of it
Here is the dilemma that I am having
    according to a previous post
How to delete a Time Machine-backed up file on an external HD
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=8799363&#8799363
    you have to
    1 - Have a finder window open
    2 - launch Time Machine
3 - find the file you want to delete in the finder window
4 - go to the Gear Icon in the finder window
5 - Pull down menu for
6 - drum roll please! 'delete all backups of <filename>
Well I DO NOT WANT TO DELETE ALL BACKUPS!!!!!!
I want to keep some of the back ups of that iPhoto file - not all of them
I want to manage my files individually, and delete those and only those necessary
I can only hope there is a simple and easy solution,
If someone could just point me in that direction I would greatly appreciate it
    Cheers , Don

    donaldo777 wrote:

You'll find that rather difficult -- TM was specifically designed to manage space and backups automatically, as most users won't, or don't have the patience.
If it's only your photos you want to do this way, you might consider excluding them from TM and using a different app that will do traditional archive backups. CarbonCopyCloner and SuperDuper, for example, are mostly used to make bootable "clones" of your whole system (I use CCC for that in addition to TM). But both of them (and others) can also be used to back up only specific files/folders, and, optionally, retain archive copies of changed items. Just how that works, I can't tell you, but for details see their documentation (Google or VersionTracker).
CCC is donationware, SD has a free version, but I think you'd need the paid one, about $30.
Thanks for your response, and I have a question, when you say be careful of deleting thru the finder
because TM will get cranky - Do you mean TM gets 'confused' where is the location of its back-ups
when TM scans backward in TIme?
No, it's apparently got to do with the way it manages it's actual files vs. hard links (sort of like aliases), and picking one hourly backup to be the daily, then one daily to be a weekly. It seems to require some shuffling around. I don't know the details (not publicly available, I think).
Eventually, I don't care of TM gets cranky as long as I can access my data and still reach my original goal
You will care when it gets so cranky it stops backing-up, or you can't find what you want to restore.
I want to have control of my files, they are huge in size and number and eventually
Even Terabit drives are filling up on me.
Then as mentioned, you may need different strategies, and perhaps different apps, for different types of data. Such complex strategies are actually quite common in medium to large data centers, but again, TM was designed mostly for not-so-savvy home users.
