CO_ITEM: write archive for object PSG is cancelled by system

Dear Experts;
I have one more problem in archiving project at my client using R/3 4.7.
On preparation for this archiving project, we have simulated all objects on "development server" and they went OK and we also have executed what was recommended by sap note nr 613707.
Now, we move to the next step to QA server where the data is mirroring to Production server. Here the comes the problem on "CO_ITEM". The problem is, the system cancel the write process for object "PSG". For your information, we have checked all the parameter such as;
- Technical setting
- Residence time for CO line items
When we check the log it says: "ABAP/4 processor: TSV_TNEW_OCCURS_NO_ROLL_MEMORY"
What does it mean and are we suppose to do?
Your advise and support is highly appreciated.
Thank you,
AZNI

Since you QA system is a mirror of Prod it contains large number of CO line items as compared to Dev environment. Due to the large number of CO line items the buffer size is getting exceed resulting in the dump.
Check the OSS Note 888292 - Archiving CO_ITEM for orders terminates
Hope this helps

  • Problem in Archiving for object FM_BEL_CA

    Dear all,
Currently I am working on archiving project  who still use the R/3 4.7. One of the problems of archiving Archiving Objects is the FM_BEL_CA
    My questions to this objects are the following;
    1. At test run of Write process in t-code "SARA", the system only show the document type that can or cannot be archived. Is it possible in the SARA that the result of Write process also mention the document nr?
2 Why the system request full authorization for all FM area?
    3. Is there any way to specify the the archiving is specified for certain FM area only?
    4. When I check the information Structure of this object, there is no Information structure for this FM_BEL_CA.
    5. Is it mandatory to create information structure for this object?
    6. What is the impact to the report on application side if we do not maintain Information Structure in the T-code "SARI"
    7. Is there any support package in relation to this Object?
Is there anyone out there can help me?
    Thank you.
    Azni

Hi Ajay, thanks for your information.
I have tried to make the info structure recommended. In the process of info structure creation, there is no object FM_BEL_CA in the Object List.  Is there any reason for this?
My next question, in practice is it a common to archive these object?
My question raise after I read Note 114628. The impact of archiving this object will make the archived data become loss from data base and no way to retrieve it. So, if there is any payment received on the following period or Fiscal year after the archiving key date, will make the payment posted as unassigned revenue/expence.
    Please your support.
    Thank you so much.

  • Creating a new Infostructure in archiving for Object PM_ORDER

    Hi Guru's,
The SAP standard infostructures used when archiving PM Orders do not include 'Order Type'. I have created a new Z infostructure and included the Order Type in the field catalog and new infostructure but it doesn't get populated at the point of archiving. Does anyone know why not ? or how I can fix this ?

    Hi Ben,
Has your custom archive infostructure been activated?  Also, the infostructure gets populated during the delete phase of the archiving process, not the write phase.  Have you tried manually filling the structure?  If so, what does the joblog show?  Does the tablespace the infostructure is in have enough space?
These are some things to check.
    Hope this helps.

  • No archive information found for object type  and document type

    Hi All,
When i try to view the print preview for a perticular doc type, system is giving the error as "No archive information found for object type  and document type"
    Diagnosis
No information was found about optical archiving. This may be due to
        either of the following reasons:
        1.  No valid archiving parameters were passed
        2.  Your system is not configured for optical archiving
    System Response
        Processing is cancelled.
    Procedure
Specify valid archiving parameters or check whether your system is configured for optical archiving
    Regds,
    CB

    Hello,
You are trying to Print & also archive by selecting the option Print & Archive.
You have to do archivelink configurations and then create document type and assign to the object type with content repository with archivelink table.
If you want to archive the spool or output then you have to use object type as DRAW. If you are archiving invoice document or letters or so on then you have to know the object type/Business object of the transaction.
Please note that for archivelink configuration, attachment will be either stored in archive server or in SAP database table based on business requirement.
Hope this will give you some understanding on archiving area.
    -Thanks,
    Ajay

  • Data archiving for Write Optimized DSO

    Hi Gurus,
I am trying to archive data in Write Optimized DSO.
Its allowing me to archive on request basis but it archives entire requests in the DSO(Means all data).
But i want to select to archive from this request to this request.(Selection of request by my own).
    Please guide me.
I got the below details from SDN.Kindly check.
Archiving for Write optimized DSOs follow request based archiving as opposed to time slice archiving in standard DSO. This means that partial request activation is not possible; only complete requests have to be archived.
Characteristic for Time Slice can be a time characteristic present in the WDSO, or the request creation data/request loading date. You are not allowed to add additional infoobjects for semantic groups, default is 0REQUEST & 0DATAPAKID.
The actual process of archiving remains the same i.e
    Create a Data Archiving Process
    Create and schedule archiving requests
    Restore archiving requests (optional)

  • Detemining the free space for each tables before Archiving an object.

    Hi Everyone,
I want to know, how can i get the information about the how much space will get free from each table which is related to an archiving object <b>before</b> i perform
    archiving on that particular object.
Are there any transactions for the same, or some transaction which can be related to these.
eg:FI_DOCUMNT is related to lots of table, before i archive this object, i want to know that space that will be free from all the tables individually which are affected by this object.
    Regards,
    Nipun Sharma

    Hi Nipun,
as far as I know: there is no easy tool to get this numbers. But on the other hand, you don't need exact numbers, estimations will do.
It's a good idea to start with the biggest objects: take DB02, make a detailed analysis where you select the biggest tables -> corresponding archive objects should be your main focus (for the beginning).
Count for the biggest tables in each objects the entries per year (or month, whatever periods you are interested in). Most tables have creation date to do so, otherwise go for number range. For some numbers you could search the creation date, the rest is estimation again.
Then you will have an idea, which volume was created in which time frame.
Still you need some test archive runs (in PRD or an (old) copy, at least for an example amount of data): you need to know, which % of the documents can technically be archived, how much will stay open because of missing closing. That's critical information (maybe 90% will stay in system) and can only be analyzed by SARA test runs - if you identify the missing object status, you can go on selecting this directly, but in the beginning you need the archive run.
With the volume / time frame and the percentage, which can be deleted you should be able to give estimations based on current total object size. Make clear, that you talk about estimations: every single object will be checked for having correct status - before this isn't done (in a test run), no one can tell exact numbers.
    Hope, this will help you,
    regards,
    Christian

  • Unable to create Archiving for non-cumulative InfoCube

    Dear Gurus,
I'm working with BI in SAP Nw 2004s with SAPKW70016 (Support Package 16) and need to create archiving on a non-cumulative Infocube (copy of 0RT_C36) but can't use tx RSDAP. Although I found note 1056294, which says that upon SP14 it can't be done the following message is sent:
Cannot create data archiving process for ZRT_C36
    Message no. RSDA109
    Diagnosis
You can only create a data archiving process for standard DataStore objects and standard InfoCubes. You cannot create a data archiving process for other InfoProviders such as VirtualProviders.
In particular, non-cumulative InfoCubes and write-optimized DataStore objects are not currently supported.
Please let me know what is wrong or how can I do this archiving in 2004s. I also read some documentation about RSDV transaction but couldn't find how to implement it using tx. RSDAP.
    Thanks in advanced.
    Best regards,
    Pilar Infantas.

Please, any feedback about this issue???

  • Archiving PM_ORDER object

    Hi all,
We want to archive the object PM_ORDER for a particular order type.
We have set the deletion flag for these order types through iw32.
The archive logical path is set in the tcode FILE.
In sara, we have done the pre-processing and the write, where the back ground job shows successfully completed.
But, when we go to Delete, it does not list the archive session.
Is there anything else to be done, please suggest.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Nagu

    Hi Nagu,
Check the customizing settings under Archiving Object-Specific Customizing:  Technical Settings and see what has been configured for your Storage options.  If you have the Store before Deleting option selected, you will not be able to run the delete job until the archive file has been sent/stored in the content repository.
    Hope this helps.

Okay, that's better. It would have been nice if the code was formatted, and if there was about 20% of that code. (Your example could have been just one JLabel and nothing else, for example.)
Anyway, now that you've posted that code, what is your question about it? I see you are calling a "getAvailableFontFamilyNames" method; do you have a question about that? If so, what is the question?

  • Multiple data loads in PSA with write optimized DSO objects

    Dear all,
Could someone tell me how to deal with this situation?
We are using write optimized DSO objects in our staging area. These DSO are filled with full loads from a BOB SAP environment.
The content of these DSO u2013objects are deleted before loading, but we would like to keep the data in the PSA for error tracking and solving. This also provides the opportunity to see what are the differences between two data loads.
For the normal operation the most recent package in the PSA should be loaded into these DSO-objects (as normal data staging in BW 3.5 and before) .
As far as we can see, it is not possible to load only the most recent data into the staging layer. This will cause duplicate record errors when there are more data loads in the PSA.
We all ready tried the functionality in the DTP with u201Call new records, but that only loads the oldest data package and is not processing the new PSA loads.
Does any of you have a solution for this?
    Thanks in advance.
    Harald

    Hi Ajax,
I did think about this, but it is more a work around. Call me naive but it should be working as it did in BW3.5!
The proposed solution will ask a lot of maintenance afterwards. Beside that you also get a problem with changing PSA id's after the have been changed. If you use the posibility to delete the content of a PSA table via the process chain, it will fail when the datasourcese is changed due to a newly generated PSA table ID.

  • I have downloaded the most recent itunes on my new computer with windows 8        but a message pops up saying "the itunes library.itl file is locked, on a locked disk or you do not have write permission for this file. How do I fix?

I have downloaded the most recent itunes on my new computer with windows 8 but when I attempt to get in I get this message "The itunes library.itl file is locked, ona locked disk, or you do not have write permission for this file."  How do i fix this?

    Repair iTunes Security Permissions
Right-click on your main iTunes folder and click Properties, then go to the Securitytab and click Advanced. Use the Change Permissions... button grant to your account (or the Users group) and SYSTEM full control of this folder, subfolders and files, then tick the option to Replace permissions entries... which will repair permissions throughout the library. When complete switch to the General tab, click in the Read-only check box to clear it, then click Apply.
If you don't have the option to change the permissions then use the Owner tab and Edit... button to take ownership from an account with administrator privileges. Tick the option to Replace owner on subcontainers and objects.
Repeat with the media folder if it isn't stored inside the main iTunes folder.
If you've brought over the library from another computer you may also want to remove any "mystery" identities (S<string of dashes & digts>) that have come over from the old computer...
The images above are from Windows 7. Hopefully the system isn't too different in Windows 8.

Right-click on your main iTunes folder and click Properties, then go to the Security tab and click Advanced. If necessary grant your account and SYSTEM full control of this folder, subfolders and files, then tick the option to replace permissions on child objects which will repair permissions throughout the library. This is the XP dialog but Windows 7 shouldn't be too different.
If it won't let you change the permissions use the Owner tab to take ownneship from an account with administror privileges.

    Hi Ajay,
    1.  You have to create a separate field catelogus and AIS according to your requirement with the required fields you want . Because the standard structures and field catelogues contains many fields from all tables. So before doing the read operation you have to deactivate the standard AIS and activate your newly created AIS .
    2. Can you give some more details for this question to be answered.
    3. The important archiving tables used are ARCH_IDX,ARCH_RPRG,ARCH_DEF.
    4. While scheduling the Read process in batch mode , it will give you three criterias to be entered.
         . Spool Parameters
         (ii). Start date
         (iii). Archive selection of files.
Unless you enter values for any one of these options , You cannot execute the batch job.
    Hope this would help you.
    Regards - Swarna.
