Co-Products settlement rule PP6 - need for ECC 6.0

Hello Experts
I need the settlement rule PP6, but this rule is only aviable for SAP Mill Products. Is there any possibilty to use them in ECC 6.0?
If not? how can i implement such a scenario?

"Please be aware that the settlement rules PP5 and PP6 are part of the
Industry Solution for Mill Products. Hence if you do not use Mill
Products, and the history of your customer messages so far indicates
that you might not, you will not be able to find PP6.
However if you do use Mill Products then please make sure that you have
followed the prerequisites listed in the online help:

Limitation of the number of settlement rules is 999.
The Notes 483600, 31721 and 720619 describe the issue. The technical restriction to 999 distribution rule groups can not be changed.

Are any of these rules not needed?
We know the Agent Coordinator rules are needed on protected servers. Are they also needed on the DPM server (including if we use secondary DPM servers)?
The DPM Configuring Firewalls TechNet page says DCOM uses TCP 135 and the RPC Dynamic ports. Does that mean we also need a rule that opens all TCP RPC Dynamic ports for
any program? Or is this not necessary since we have rules for msdpm.exe and dpmra.exe? Reference:

What other rules may be missing, if any?
Note that we do not include rules for ports 53 (DNS), 88 (Kerberos), 389 (LDAP), 137-139 & 445 (NetBIOS) because we already open these ports in other group policy objects.
Also, the below forums post says two exceptions for SQL Server are needed on the DPM server to allow the Remote Administrator console to work. Is there any documentation in the DPM TechNet site on these rules?

As per my experience,better to go for above 160GB hard drive(250GB will be
good) and 2 GB RAM is required for Laptop's.

A Solution Manager is a combined ABAP + Java instance, if you installed ERP 6.0 also with the Java part you will need
- 1024 MB Java heap for Solman (real memory)
- 1024 MB Java heap for ERP Portal
- ~ 500 MB for SolMan ABAP
- ~ 500 MB for ERP ABAP
- two databases
So I would
- not use a 32bit OS
- not try to start both with less than 4 GB RAM
Be aware of the fact, that not everything is installed on the harddisk, lots of configurations/permissions/users are created LOCALLY on the machine you installed which you won't have if the installation was done on a different system. So you may not even be able to start the system.

Settlement Rules for Rework Orders

hey Gurus,
We have set up a different production order type for Rework Production Orders, ZP03. We are manually assigned a work center that has a cost center and cost activity associated for cost accounting.
When I create this order, a screen always pops up asking to populate the settlement rule for this production order. I have been blasting through this. We are confirming the order and checking the costing associated with this order and it seems to be populating the cost correctly when we check either the itemized costing in the production order or KOB1.
I know that I am missing something here but the system seems to be behaving well without the settlement rule being populated for this order type.
What is the fault in my thinking by not populating this rule for this production order type and what do I need to do to populate this settlement rule correctly?

Create order with CO07and asssign then go to Header and under Settlement rule assign the production order with that rework order.the settlement receiver as orginal production order at settlement rule.
Please check the settlment profile in OPJH and settlment profile in OPKT and OK07. Standard order type for rework we use PP003.

Unable to assign AUC as settlement type in settlement rule for FXA category

Dear Experts,
One of my requirement is that one WBS has several actual posting for AUC of different types and settle through CJ88. Investment profile is not in scope.
To run the above scenario, i created AUC manually via AS01 of different types. When i create settlement rule manually for that WBS i can't see the settlement type "AUC" for FXA category. I can see only the settlement type of "PER and FULL". 100% settlement should be done for all AUC posted for that WBS at the time of each period closing.
Could you help me to resolve this issue asap?

Hi,
To get AUC in settlement rule , you need to allow settlement at wbs level which use to be controlled in settlement profile. Also you wont find AUC but u will find fixed asset- FXA.
One more thing settlement rule come automatically when you run the settlement first time as captilisation. You will get the settlement rule automatically.

Settlement rule for several assets but one internal order number

Hi,
I have a question regarding the settlement rule for an internal order. I have issued an internal order number to capture costs for a construction project. When the project is completed how do I update the settlement rule for the internal order to several assets all for different amounts?
For example an internal order number has collected costs of 150,000.00 for the completion of a building. When the building is complete and I want to do a final settlement of the internal order. I have one asset for land improvements for 43,000, another asset for the HVAC system for 33,000 and building costs of 74,000. When updating the settlement rule I know to create the assets and update the settlement rule with these asset numbers, but I am unclear on how to assign multiple assets with differnt amounts.

In the settlement rule , you need to select the Receiver as FXA and then enter the Asset number and then you will have to put the % that you want to settle to .
Like if you have 100/- Rs. total cost and you want to settle it to 2 assets in 60/- Rs. and 40/- Rs.
Then you will have to enter 2 line items in settlement rule with diffrent asset numbers and in proportion you will have to say 40 % and 60% , based on which the final settlement would happen .
So make the proportion changes in the settlement rule accordingly .

Creation of settlement rules for WBS element

Hi,
Iam having problem when creating the settlement rules for WBS elements. The business goes like this.
We have XI interface which creates the Idocs and an inbound program(customized) to process the Idocs. When the Inbound program is run the WBS elements are created and settlement rules are created for the WBS elements. The inbound program is run automatically thru batch job.
First time when the Idocs are processed about 95% of the WBS elements have settlement rules created and for other 5% settlement rules are not created. The Idoc is in status 64. I tried reprocessing the Idoc and then the settlement rules are getting created succussfully. The problem is Iam not able to find why the Inbound program is not processing succusfully when its run first time but works when reprocessed.
I appreciate if anyone can send their views.

You might set the processing to check not only once the relevant IDocs, but more times...
Check out these programs, and set them into a batch job periodically...

Patch needed for uploading sap ecc 6.0 country india version

Hello experts,We are facing problems whileworking with the cin module,First of all i would like to convey that our server is based at jakarta and that the license is based at jakarta(indonasia),however the off shore delivery centre is based at india,so please guide us like what patches are needed to be uploaded so that we can operate the cin version.
Functional error----- The error or problem been faced by the functional consultants is that while entering the FTXP tranction the respective fields are always in the display mode and not allowing to enter any data(only single session been opened and not the case of multiple session in the same tranction),

Is there any Authorization object that will let me download ECC IDES?. I dont see any such object ( named ECC or similar) assigned to my SID in Serv Mkt Place.
Could that be the reason?. Pls advise.

Settlement rule does not exists in order number.

I have been recieving a error while trying to save the Production order. The error reads as "Settlement rule does not exixts in order". But fact is that order has settlement rule. Also there is a default setting done in order type settlement profile because of which settlement rule is created automatically.
Now there is a way around. We calculate cost manually and then we go to settlement rule and check for error. Once we do so the order is good to save.
But we are not able to save it automaticaaly after release. This issue occurs when we try to release the order and then after releasing the order we try to save it.
Please help us on this issue.

Thanks for your input. But the said setting was already done while implementation. All the material except this material has the issue. We are able to realease the order properly for the material except this one. And since go live we are using this material for first time.
We did a work around. We copied this material and recreated a new material with reviced part number. That one is working fine in lower client. We have now no idea how could one material all the same data like material master and routing and BOM and work centers can work properly whicle failing for other.
We are trying to debug this will let you all know if we find the solution. Till then if you all have any idea any prior experience, please let me know.

Settlement Rules in PM Orders

Hi,
Whenever PM Order are created they carry two line of settlement rule, one of type other of type FUL. I am unable to find out how they are created by default. I don't find any configuration in PM Model order (that is assigned to PM Order Type). secondly there is no settlement strategy defined for automatic generation of settlement rule.

Settlement rule not getting defaulted in IW32

Hi Gurus,
This is a specific issue related to the 'settlement rule' defaulting in the refurbishment order. At the time of creating order and trying to release the order, the settlement rule is getting defaulted in the order, but once I save the order without releasing and again from the change mode of the order (IW32), try to release the order it is saying that the settlement rule not maintained.
Could anybody please let me know why the system behaves like this? Do I need to change anything?

what i think is becoz in configuration for that order type they might have put the settlement rule as Mandatory for release thats why its coming like that. Do one thing change the settlement rule in configuration as Distribution for release and then check.
