CO validation according BUKRS
Hi there. Could You tell me some tips how to validate CO in such scenario:
At this moment we've got 1 Controlling Area (Let's say CA1)
We've got 4 CoCodes (let's say CC1, CC2, CC3 and CC4)
The Controlling Area CA1 is common for all 4 CoCodes. That's an Cross-company-code cost accounting .
The problem is that Co Posting Periods are closed 'globally', for the whole Controlling Area CA1 ( = for all CoCodes assigned to CA1, that is CC1, CC2, CC3 and CC4).
I need to create transaction in which user could open/close Co Periods separately for each CoCode. So for example Period 1 can be closed for CC1, but it's opened for CC2 etc.
I know that I need to create a Z-table, which will keep info about periods closed. I think it's structure could be the same as KAPS ("CO Period Locks") table with BUKRS field added by me. Now I know I should use OKC7 Tcode. But what now?
Could You give me some tips about most suitable solution? I'm newbe in world of rules, callup-points and other validation components.
I'll be very thankful for help. Greetings.
Hi!
I'm not very familiar with CO, but you can close and open periods for each company code, using transaction OB52.
Check this out first, it might help you.

Validation according to Document type
Hi all,
i have defind validation in sales order using transaction notification stored procedure. ex:- sales order should be based on sales quotation etc. and code is as follows
--- Sales Order Not Based On Sales Quotaion
IF @transaction_type = 'A' AND @object_type = '17'
BEGIN
IF EXISTS (SELECT T0.ItemCode FROM [dbo].[RDR1] T0 inner join [dbo].[ORDR] T1 on T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry
WHERE T0.BaseType = -1 AND T0.DocEntry = @list_of_cols_val_tab_del and T1.DocType= 'I')
BEGIN
SELECT @Error = 1, @error_message = 'Sales Order not based on Sales Quotation '
END
END
now i want to apply this validation to only 'ITEM' type document instead of 'SERVICE' type document.
how to do it?hi,
Execute stored procedure in MS SQL Studio management on demo database first
and then incorporate it in live db.
set ANSI_NULLS ON
set QUOTED_IDENTIFIER ON
go
ALTER proc [dbo].[SBO_SP_TransactionNotification]
@object_type nvarchar(25),
@transaction_type nchar(1),
@num_of_cols_in_key int,
@list_of_key_cols_tab_del nvarchar(255),
@list_of_cols_val_tab_del nvarchar(255)
AS
begin
declare @error int
declare @error_message nvarchar (200)
select @error = 0
select @error_message = N'Ok'
IF @transaction_type = 'A' AND @object_type = '17'
BEGIN
IF EXISTS (SELECT T0.ItemCode FROM dbo.RDR1 T0 inner join dbo.ORDR T1 on T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry
WHERE T0.BaseType = -1 AND T0.DocEntry = @list_of_cols_val_tab_del and T1.DocType= 'I')
BEGIN
SELECT @Error = 1, @error_message = 'Sales Order not based on Sales Quotation '
END
END
select @error, @error_message

Price from Contract should default in the PO according to delivery date
Hi Gurus,
The scenario is:
I am creating a PO w.r.t. a contract. Now, the material in the contract line item has two different prices in two different validity periods. For eg, the price from Jan to Mar31st is Rs.5.00/unit. Now, in the next validity period, i.e. from April1st to Dec, the price is Rs7.00 /unit.
Now, I am creating a PO on Mar20th. The delivery date is expected in April and the date of April7th is put up in the PO. But, the price Rs5.00/unit is defaulting from the contract, since I am creating the PO in the month of March. Well, I can go ahead and change the price in the PO, but
is there any way, that the price from the contract defaults according to the delivery date in the PO, Not according to the PO creation date?
Thanks,
KumarHello Kumar,
Contract validity date is related to PO creation data and not the PO Delivery Date. So whenever you create a PO system will refer to the contract which is valid on that date and hence you can not have price from the contract which is valid according to GR delivery date in the PO.
Customization, user exit are always there to help as per requirement but that would not be the correct option.
Better create PO according to your delivery date requirement so that PO will consider only that contract which system should actually refer.
Gurus,
Please correct if I am wrong.
Thanks And Regards,

SAML Validation Error - Proxy Service - Process WS-Security Header
I am testing a Proxy Service that inspects the WS-Security Header which contains a WS-Policy for a SAML Assertion sender-vouches. The SAML Assertion that is produced is valid according to the oassis schema, but ALSB 2.6 returns a SOAP Fault that the SAML Assertion is not valid. Is there any next steps I should take to diagnose the problem? Also, are there any good tools available for validating a SAML Assertion?
Here is the response of the ALSB 2.6 running on WebLogic 9.2. It is a simple proxy service we use to test whether SAML is working correctly or not. The client correctly sends the sender-voucher with the username/password/certificate alias and so forth.

Validating DTD with sequence embedded into choice
Hey there!
I have a validation problem. My XML file is coming with a DTD specifying that the element choice has the following structure (look at target and resource - I want both of them or one of them only, and that's my solution):
<!ELEMENT choice ((question,target,answer,resource?,description?,number_of_questions?,query?)|
(question,target?,answer,resource,description?,number_of_questions?,query?))>According to me, this is a correct element declaration.
My XML document contains an element (amongst other):
<choice name="Personnes celebres">
<question> Qui est la personne representee sur la photo</question>
<answer> name </answer>
<resource> picture </resource>
<number_of_questions> 50 </number_of_questions>
</choice> According to me, it is valid according to the DTD, though when parsing, here is the code :
DocumentBuilderFactory factory = DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance();
factory.setValidating(true);
DocumentBuilder builder = factory.newDocumentBuilder();
builder.setErrorHandler((ErrorHandler) new SimpleErrorHandler());
Document localDocument = builder.parse(file); // <-- HERE I get this error:
org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Element "choice" does not allow "answer" here.

FCE4 serial number not valid, Lion
I just did a clean install of Lion and wish to install FCEv4 but the previously valid license number -although typed correctly and double checked- is now suddenly coined 'not valid' according to the installer.
Is there a workaround ?It is surprisingly easy to type the number incorrectly.
On one occasion I somehow had a space before the number which was impossible to see normally.
Check the cursor icon is at the very beginning and make sure everthing is in the correct case and watch out for confusion between I and1, O and 0 etc.
There may be a problem but inputting the number incorrectly is also very likely.
Note that the number is over 30 digits long, most of them being in triplets.
Incidentally, if this is an FCE 4 Upgrade you will also need the original FCE FULL Retail number. -
Despite valid feed, download in Podcasts app not working
Hi!
I created a new podcast feed, which is valid according to feedvalidator.org and got approved by apple iTunes store. Downloading the podcast mp3-file is working in all major apps i've encountered so far, but not in the Podcasts app. Maybe somebody is willing to check my feed and can give me any hints how to solve this?
The feed-adress is: http://www.ernstdeslebens.de/feed/
The enclosure link is not pointing directly to an mp3 file, but to a php-file which is serving the mp3 to the client, so I can track how many downloads we got. Still - it works in iTunes (desktop) and also in Instacast for iOS and some Android podcatchers...
Help is really appreciated! Thank you!hmm.
go to:
settings/applications/feeds
and make sure you are good with what you want there.
settings/notifications/Feed on home screen
and be sure that you toggle the twiiter tweets.
having dev mode enable/disabled is not going to make a difference on your device unless you try to do something that requires it to be on.
its like having a turbo on your car. do you need it....not really, but, when you want to use it, its always good to have it! -
"This feed has no episodes", but feed is 100% valid.
I'm trying to help a voluntary grou submit their podcast to iTunes.
The original XML was a mess, the system they inherited is unsupported now (to answer all the obvious upcoming questions!).
So, I rewrote and tidied the XML, it is 100% valid according to every feed validation thing I can find, and it plays fine in everything else.
But iTunes and iTunes store doesn't seem to like it, because the audio is served from a directory, eg:
http://www.essexinfo.net/wickfordtn/assets/audio/weekly-news-side1
and not
http://www.essexinfo.net/wickfordtn/assets/audio/weekly-news-side1/something.mp3
The filetype is being served correctly, as you can see from http://web-sniffer.net/
Content-Type: audio/mpeg
Content-Length: 5309578
So the question is - how to get this into iTunes? Until they can get their server sorted, the only thing I could think would be to write the xml as a pointer to my own server, put an htaccess redirect in their, to make it think it's a proper filename.
The thing is, this is all voluntary, and I don't really want to be jumping through those kind of hoops if I can at all avoid it.
Thanks!
Message was edited by: Jonathan at TNSYour feed has no media files referenced. These need to be in an 'enclosure' tag within the 'item'...'/item' tags which define each episode. With no media files referenced iTunes will not accept your podcast nor display it on manual subscription.
As you are using Feedburner, either you are writing a feed yourself and submitting it to Feedburner, or you are submitting information to Feedburner and having it write the feed. In the latter case you need to add some media files according to their instructions. In the former case you may find this page helpful as it shows you a basic feed so you can see what it should look like (it's for audio but the general principle is the same).

Hello,
I configured and deployed a Java Partner Application as specified in the demo (ssosdk902.zip). I created an OC4J container and deployed all beans and jsp pages. When I try to access papp.jsp page, it presents me with sso login page but when i try to access other jsp pages under the same container like (index.jsp), it does not ask present with a sso login page. I want to protect all JSP pages under that container. Should I change home url for the SSO Partner application?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.creating a partner application does not automatically secure the entire directory/application. it just sets a cookie for the Login Server and the Partner Application, indicating this user is authenticated.
if you want to secure the entire directory, you need to:
1. lock the directory down with MOD_OSSO in partnership with the Login Server
2. put the session checking code from papp.jsp into every page you want to secure, ensuring you have a valid and current user
3. create an application-specific security layer for the rest of your application that defers to the Oracle Security for user authentication.
what i'm currently doing is number 3. i have my ssoHome, that ensures i have a valid Login Server user. then i create an application session around the SSO user and use that to secure the rest of my site. if that session info ever times out, i delegate back to my ssoHome to see if they're still valid according to Oracle, and if they're not, they get sent back to the Login Server.
this model works very well for me, and is easy to manage.
hope that helps,

I'm attempting to submit a podcast through iTunes and keep getting this error. I've tried on two computers, one being a Mac and one PC. My RSS feed is here: http://www.whitewolfdental.com/wp-content/media/rss.xml
If I go to File -> Subscribe to Podcast... in iTunes and type in the feed URL it allows me to subscribe just fine and the items do play. The feed also validated according to feedvalidator.org.
Any ideas?iTunes really likes to see the GUID tag.
If you manaually can edit your feed go into each epsiode and add in a unique GUID tag.

Here is a tutorial that goes over editing your RSS feed.
Good luck.

Why do I get following reply from iTunes Store when I attempt to publish my podcast:
"We had difficulty reading this feed. Host parameter is null." ?
This is my podcast website:
http://www.einarpetterson.org/Ars_et_Medicina/Podcast/Podcast.html
I have validated the following feed with Feed Validator. It is ok. (there are some minor suggestions for changes which should not be criical)
http://www.einarpetterson.org/Ars_et_Medicina/Podcast/rss.xml
When I write this feed URL in the box for suscribing to podcasts in ITunes (Advanced/Suscribe to podcast menues), iTunes finds my podcasts and downloads them successfully (and fast). All the podcasts downloaded that way work fine.
So, if the rss reed is validated, and works in iTunes, why am I not able to publish my podcasts in iTunes Store?
My hosting service is GoDaddy.com. I see from other articles on this support forum (Apple) and on GoDaddy´s support forum, that other people have had the same problem. Sometimes their problem apparently just disappeared (and iTunes Store finally just stopped writing "We had difficulty reading this feed. Host parameter is null" everytime they tried to submit their podcasts to iTunes. I have now tried submitting this and other podcasts (hosted on GoDaddy) many, many times for several days, but always get the same irritating negative message.
Does anyone out there understand what the problem could be? As far as I can see from reading other descriptions of this same problem, no one has yet provided an adequate explanation of what is causing this "glitch" (as some call it).
I want to publish several podcast series on iTunes Store which are now hosted on GoDaddy.com. Many other MobileMe users like me, will in the next 30 days have to move their websites from MobileMe to other hosting services. GoDaddy.com is a large hosting service. This problem might appear often during the next month. I therefore believe that Apple and GoDaddy should attempt to find out why this problem occurs, and do something about it. It seems from other descriptions of this problem, that it often occurs with people using GoDaddy hosting service. Have not read or analyzed all descriptions of this problem on the net, but there are enough descriptions to support a hypothesis that there is some communication difficulty between iTunes Store and GoDaddy hosting service. (? - at least some others have made this hypothesis, like I do)TEST OF SUBMISSION OF 16 RSS FEEDS TO ITUNES STORE "SUBMIT PODCAST" PAGE
I have now tested all my podcast rss feeds which are now stored on GoDaddycom hosting service in three ways:
1) Feed validator
2) iTunes (Menu: Advanced/suscribe to podcast)
3) iTunes Store "Submit Podcast Page"
Results:
All 16 rss feeds are valid according to Feed Validator. There are some small insignifcant suggestions for improvements which are not critical.
All 16 rss feeds function in iTunes (Advanced/suscribe to podcasts)
None of the 16 rss feeds can be successfully submitted to iTunes Store "submit podcast" page. The same error occurs in all cases:
"We had difficulty reading this feed. host parameter is null"
The following 5 of these 16 podcasts were submitted while the websites were hosted by MobileMe. No problems with submission. All accepted and now on iTunes. These podcast sites are now transferred to GoDaddy.com (with same domain as earlier - einarpetterson.org - and all function. I can change pages, make alterations etc.
Here are the 5 rss feeds.

http://www.einarpetterson.org/Dystopia/Podcast/rss.xml
http://www.einarpetterson.org/Ekskursjonsemner/Podcast/rss.xml
The following 11 podcasts now hosted on GoDaddy webhosting service can not be submitted successfully to iTunes Store despite the fact that their rss feeds are validated by Feed Validator and work on iTunes (and probably on most other rss readers)

THIS PROBABLY MEANS THAT IT IS EITHER VERY DIFFICULT, OR IMPOSSIBLE FOR ANYONE WHO IS USING GODADDY.COM AS A WEBHOSTING SERVICE (WITHOUT USING THEIR VIRTUAL OR DEDICATED SERVER OPTIONS WHICH ARE VERY EXPENSIVE) TO PUBLISH ANY PODCASTS ON ITUNES STORE.
I may have made some error in my submission to ITunes Store, but do not think so. If anyone discovers that I have made a simple and stupid error, please tell me. If I have not made an error, one should probably not use GoDaddy.com as a webhosting service if one ever wants to publish podcasts to iTunes Store.
It would be interesting to hear if anyone in this forum who is using GoDaddy.com webhosting service has recently (or ever) managed to succesfully submit a rss feed to iTunes Store submit page. If so, I would like to hear about it. -

</xs:schema>myhrem, I've just come across exactly the same problem after amemding my schema. Fortunatley I hadn't changed much so it was possible to find out what caused the error. It is the empty enumeration element where value is equal to "" that causes xjc to throw the error.
I don't know if its right or wrong, in my case I was able to remove the empty element from the xsd. -
How to read the data file and write into the same file without a temp table
Hi,
I have a requirement as below:
We are running lockbox process for several business, but for a few businesses we have requirement where in we receive a flat file in different format other than how the transmission format is defined.
This is a 10.7 to 11.10 migration. In 10.7 the users are using a custom table into which they are first loading the raw data and writing a pl/sql validation on that and loading it into a new flat file and then running the lockbox process.
But in 11.10 we want to restrict using temp table how can we achieve this.
Can we read the file first and then do validations accordingly and then write to the same file and process the lockbox.
Any inputs are highly appreciated.
Thanks & Regards,
Lakshmi Kalyan Vara Prasad.Hello Gurus,
Let me tell you about my requirement clearly with an example.
Problem:
i am receiving a dat file from bank in below format
105A371273020563007 07030415509174REF3178503 001367423860020015E129045
in this detail 1 record starting from 38th character to next 15 characters is merchant reference number
REF3178503 --- REF denotes it as Sales Order
ACC denotes it as Customer No
INV denotes it as Transaction Number
based on this 15 characters......my validation comes.
If i see REF i need to pick that complete record and then fill that record with the SO details as per my system and then submit the file for lockbox processing.
In 10.7 they created a temporary table into which they are loading the data using a control file....once the data is loaded into the temporary table then they are doing a validation and updating the record exactly as required and then creating one another file and then submitting the file for lockbox processing.
Where as in 11.10 they want to bypass these temporary tables and writing it into a different file.
Can this be handled by writing a pl/sql procedure ??
My findings:
May be i am wrong.......but i think .......if we first get the data into ar_payments_interface_all table and then do the validations and then complete the lockbox process may help.
Any suggestions from Oracle GURUS is highly appreciated.
Thanks & Regards,
Lakshmi Kalyan Vara Prasad.
