CO27 list doesnot show storage location stock for special stock E

Dear All,
In MTO scenario, in CO27 (Pick List) , if storage location has to be selected with drop-down list , system diplays the storage locations with which this item in CO27 is maintained, but with "0" stock disply... even if the item stock is available in Sales Order unrestricted stock (E).
And it is observed that in CO27 system displays storage location along with stock only in case of item without special stock; (stock available in the unrestricted location only...)
So, even if the special stock (E) is available in the storage location, why the system is showing "0" against the storage location drop-down in CO27..??
please clarify at the earliest...

I would like to thank you for reply.
As I mentioned earlier, if material stock is available as a FREE stock , this will appear in CO27. But when material stock is available and it is in sales order stock, system will show "0" stock in drop down list of CO27 line item storage location field. Is there any customization required to enable system to show the special stock in CO27 line item storage location filed drop down..??

Hi,
Document where only issuing plant has storage location and user has not entered storage location in destination tab.
It is observed that where u201Cstorage locationu201D is missing in u201Cdestination tabu201D, system is not able to determine batch no ( mvty 351 ). Since batch number is not fetched it gives further error in Batch level valuation and subsequent issue at some different price.
Please analyze the above issue suggest us as to making storage location mandatory to solve batch valuation problem.
I have tried to add storage location field LGOBE in the mvt type 351. I am getting error field LGOBE is not allowed with mvt type 351.
Please help me urgent.

Hi,
With mov type 351 you issue the material from the supplying plant. This material is then get transfeered to the INTRANSIT stock.
Once you do goods receipt against the STO this Intransit stock is moved to the Receiving Plante.
Hence, no destination storage location will be allowed for mov type 351.

I run report MB5B - Stock on posting date with Stock Types = Storage Loc/Batch Stock, but the report doesn't show
Storage Location field in result.
How can I see it in this report?

what i think i sthis report is only for the OPENINGand CLOSING stock for the period or day
now whenu give SL field then system will only concider stock from that SL
the filed of SL will not be viewable in report as it is just opening and closing balance

Storage location wise Opening/Closing Stock on posting date (mb5b)

Hi,
Report mb5b gives opening stock and closing stock as on date. In the selection screen, if we do not enter specific storage location then the opening/closing stock is displayed as sum of all storage location stocks for a given material.
Where as if we enter storage location, it gives storage location specific output. (with Storage loc/batch stock radio button)
My requirement is - without entering storage location in the initial screen, the system should display storage location specific opening/closing stock.
To get this, presently I need to execute mb5b transaction individually for every storage location.

This report you can have in T code MC.6 and another t code for opening and closing stock in t code MC.9

Storage location updation for account assigned PO

Hi All,
Our requirement is that for an internal order assigned and subcontracting PO (Account assignment-F & item category-L) we want to create outbound deliveries for which we need to have stock in storage location after doing GR.
But, I found that for the some of these kinds of POs while doing GR though MIGO system is updating storage location but for some POs it's not.
Can you please suggest what should be the reason for this?

You are correct. As per my knowledge also if there is account assigned PO then system will not update SL.
But, I have one PO for internal order assigned (Acct Aggt Cat-F) but for this SL got updated.
Can you tell me what setting should be there to facilitate this?

SC 0011008450M7 503 No storage location data for 544_0612_13 in gm01 gm01

Hi All ,
After the creating a Reservation shopping cart for the inventory material , there is no follow on document (Reservation)is created for the shopping cart. when we view the SC it is showing the message :Contains errors. when i gone and checked in the RZ20 it is giving the error as below
Shopping cart 0011008450 (Res. 0041001082): M7 503 No storage location data for 522_0602_10 in gm01 gm01.
We maintained the all the view for this material in material master (MM03).

Hi,
1)Please check for user's extended attribute is assigned with correct storage location.
2) while creation of the SC, under basic data tab, correct storage location must be populated.

Report by month with Valuated stock and special stock by storage location

Dear All,
I need a report similar to MCBE with stock level (including "storage loc/batch Stock" plus "special stock(Q)") by plant and storage location.
I try it with MCBE tcode, but i only get "storage loc/batch Stock" in column named valuated stock. Also I can obtain that information in MB5B tcode, but I cannot get data by storage location, only plant.
Does anyone know how can solve it?

Create storage location automatically for movement type 261

Hi Experts,
Currently we're inprocess of implementing "create storage location automatically" for reservation, and I've done with the configuration for both reservation side (Define Default Values) and movement type side (GI/transfer posting - Create Storage Location Automatically).
For movement type 201, new storage location successfully extended/created using T-Code MB21 (Create Reservation). But we found an error message while conducting the same thing for movement type 261 (which only can be created using T-Code IW31 (Create material reservation form Work Order).
Did we missed any required configuration? Pls kindly advice on what we should do.

Here's the current situation,
We configured the plant/storage view (SPRO), most of materials already extended to desired plant and storage location. Commonly, we can extend or create any materials for certain plant and/or storage location by maitain material master data (using T-Code MM01).
Recently, we develop the additional configuration to activate "automatic create storage location" for reservation, aligning with the movement type for Goods Issue (201,221,261,301,etc).
Let's say we have material number 123456789 and currently assigned to plant YYYY, but not extended to storage location XXXX. By performing T-Code MB21 (create reservation) with movement type 201 inputted, the respective material (123456789) is automatically created for the XXXX storage location.
But the above condition is not effected while performing the same thing using T-Code IW31 (create material reservation via Work Order) with movement type 261 (GI for Order).
Any idea to perform create storage location automatically while creating reservation for movement type 261? is there any possible configuration or procedure to be added?

CKMM for special stock.

Hi all,
We plan to change price determination of materials from 2 to 3, new price control = S, using CKMM.
I noticed that there is an option to choose special stock in part "Restrict Material Stock". I have searched SAP notes and found that this option is used for changing price determination for special stock only, as special stock is not been affected by CKMM.
But the strange thing is when I mass changed materials in testing system using only option "Stock material" (NOT special stock), even materials in special stock were changed. I have checked several times and I am pretty sure, that CKMM affected material in special stock as well, without choosing option "Special stock".
Could you please explain why this option of choosing special stock is needed? Maybe I missed something?

This option (Special Stock) is related to Sales Order Stock Valuation or Project Stock Valuation.

Infrastructure for special stock data

DeDear Experts,
Is there any infrastructure for stock detail where special stock data is available like sales order stock and project stock.
Free stock is available in S032 info structure, I want the same for special stock.
Please suggest me in this regards as I need to develop the stock report in alternative unit of measure.

As per OSS note 581240 only certain special stocks are updated in info structures S031-S039:
The following special stocks are always updated:
Special stock 'O': Stock of material provided to vendor
Special stock 'W': Consignment stock at customer
Special stock 'V': Returnable packaging stock at customer
The following are never updated:
Special Stock 'K': Vendor consignment stock
Special stock 'M': Returnable transport packaging
The following stocks are updated DEPENDING ON YOUR VALUATION TYPE (Special Stock Valuation indicator):
Special stock 'E': Sales order stock
Special stock 'Q': Project stock

can you tell me which delivery item catg are you using and which MVT is there in the delivery?
Maybe you will have to assign a Special Stock partner in the partner function of your delivery

Actually my problem is related to a Return Sales order process where we need to change the MAP before DO and GI, otherwise the Material document would not capture the correct MAP during GI.
and the solution from the senior is select the variance "special stock -Sales order" and enter the sales doc# in MR21.
The problem that we are not yet having any special stock for this return Sales order, but this MR21 works for us and after that, the material document is able to capture the correct MAP.
Any idea what or where the MR21 is updating for the "Special Stock-Sales order" if we don't have any Sales order stock for the paticular sales document?

Item Category TAB is not looking for Special Stock.

We have an issue while using item category TAB. For sales orders having item category TAB is allowing to create the Delivery note even though there is no stock received (GOODS RECEIPT) and assigned against this sales order stock.
Ideally the system should not allow to create the Delivery note. However it is allowing to create the Delivery note.
Checked the correspoding Schedule line that was determined : CB.
CB in VOV6 the correct settins were made as below.
The checks for
Sched.line cat.        CB    Indiv.Purchase Order
Movement Type         601   GD goods issue:delvy
Order Type                NB    Purchase requisition
Item Category             0     Standard
Acct Assgt Cat.         M     Ind. cust. w/o KD-CO
Incompl.proced.       31    Sched.Line w/PurReq.
Here we have the purchase requistion number on the schedule line tab, and in VBAP could see the it as a special stock item with the indicator E.
Ideally the flow is ONLY when the GOODS RECEIPT has done against this sales order stock, then the system should allow to create the deilvery.
Checked the copy control settings in VTLA and for TAB the Data transfer routine is 101.
Please help to understand why the system allows to create delivery when there is no GR made against this.

What i need is the SYSTEM SHOULD NOT allow me to create the Delivery. In this case it is allowing me to create the Delivery.
VOV7-TAB-> Special stock indicator is set as 'E'.
Inspite of it is set as E the system is allowing and ONLY at the time of PGI it is looking for special stock and pops up with the error message:
Sales order stock 6941 000010 does not exist
Message no. M7184
I expect the system should not allow to create the delivery at first chance.
Please help if it requires any other settings?

PGI using Stock with Special Stock Indicator "E". (STO)

We are in the process of creating Stock Transfer.
While doing PGI the System is displaying the following message:
Only 0 EA of material 1103DGC22LB 08062009 available
When we executed T Code MMBE, we found the Stock exits with Special Stock Indicator "E".
Is it possible to do the PGI using Stock with Special Stock Indicator "E"?
Or what would be best possible to handle this situation.

If the stock has special stock indicator E. then you can see this in MMBe as Sales Order stock. If you dispaly the details, then you can see the Sales Order number and item for which the stock is assigned. Unless there is some reason that you want to take this stock from the sales order (for example the sales order is to be rejected), then you shouldn't take this stock as you will be unable to fullfill the sales order. If you want ot borrow the stock, then you could do a transfer as advised by previous person from sales order stock to own stock and after you get replacement stock transfer some back to sales order stock, to fullfill the order. If you are using MTO then you could also create a new production order assigned to the sales order to make the stock in the special stock segment.
