    I have to use the cockpit and dashboard reports for my client,
    can any body tell me wat is the necessary procedures to implement it.
    Regards,
    Shyam

    Hi Shyam........
    For Cockpit you version of SAP should be SAP B1 8.8 PL12 minimum and for Dashboards you have to install B1 Integration Component and assign B1i License to Super User.......
    For more information please follow the Installation guide for B1iC Installation in SAP Software Setup Document.......

  • IDVD 6  THEMES AND DASHBOARD WIDGETS GONE

    Im not sure i can find my reinstall cds for this and i dont want to lose my video films/pictures and my music..so how can i rectify this? Can i download from a website or something?
    This happened after my computer was in for repair and i dont want to have to take it back again for this if i can sort it myself..as i only have one computer at the moment and i would be lost without my internet lifeline, Im sad i know!!
    Imac4, 1   Mac OS X (10.4.7)

    A while back I too misplaced my original software / restore CD's for about six months. And like you I assumed that I had looked everywhere. But I couldn't locate them.
    So I looked on ebay and managed to find the exact same CD's from another similar G4 system. Bought them dirt cheap with "Buy it Now" option and then learned later I could use an app called Pacifist to extract the apps I needed rather than buying the software again.
    As it turned out I didn't have to use pacifist because as I was cleaning / unloading boxes in our guest room ....guess what I found?
    All my software cd's and also the restore CD's tucked away in our closet.
    If you can't find them then consider using ebay. Perhaps like me you'll eventually wind up having two complete sets for the very same software. Good luck to you.

  • How to open and read an external file in Dashboard widget?

    I am new to Dashboard widgets and also Javascript. I have written a widget that needs to open and read a file on the local file system. I have searched a lot and have not found any documentation or reference on the internet as to how to do this.
    I know it can be done since there is a checkbox in the widget attributes that says "Allow External File Access".
    can anyone help me out here?
    Thanks

    You need to define the AllowFileAccessOutsideOfWidget key to Yes.
    You also need to define the AllowFullAccess key.
    You may also need to define the AllowSystem key (to Yes of course).

  • Dashboard Widget causes error and I can't get dashboard to stay open - how do I find the file to delete?

    I put "levelwidget" on the dashboard - it is supposed to make a macbook into a Level.  Sounded interesting...now I regret!
    The widget is corrupted and now when I try to open the dashboard it immediately closes and gives me an error message "you can't open the application motion because power pc applications are no longer supported"
    How do I delete this widget so I can open the dashboard.
    I've tried to look up the file, but can't seem to find dashboard widget files.
    Thoughts?

    Sorry didn't realise you were an Apple Newbie!
    No problem, when you're in the Finder, check along the menus at the top of the screen.
    You should see Finder (in Bold) File, Edit, View, Go, Window and Help. Click the Go menu and with the mouse go to the second to last item which is 'Go to Folder…' then you be presented with a dialogue box ready to type some text into.
    Now you can type the text ~/Library/Widgets into the box. The Tilde character is next to the left Shift key (Press and hold the Shift key and then press the ~ key.
    It will be easier if whilst you're reading this message, you highlight the text ~/Library/Widgets and go to the Edit menu, select Copy, then go to the Finder and when you've the Go to Folder… dialogue window open, go Edit Paste and it will fill the box for you. Then just click the Go button and it should show your Widgets. Again if not the one just repeat the Go to Folder… bit and this time just remove the ~ at the beginning of the line

  • Show and hide events in a dashboard widget

    These two functions never seem to fire off. If the widget is hidden the hide function doesnt run and the show function only runs on the insitial load.
    My problem here is that i am running a setinterval to perform a task every 30 seconds while visible and when the dashboard closes and the widget is hidden the timer still runs. I'd like it to stop and only start again when the widget shows, any ideas?

    I would use visible and includeInLayout properties

  • Dashboard Widgets and Opening Apps

    Hi, I'm having a hard time with my Dashboard Widgets and opening applications.
    With my Dashboard Widgets, I can't click on the "more info" button. So if I put a clock Widget on my Dashboard, I can't change the region since I can't click on the "i" button. Is there anything you can think of as to why this would happen?
    Also, whenever I open an application, it always loads in the background, keeping my current app in the foreground. Usually when I open an app, it loads in the foreground over my current app. For example, if I have Finder active and I click on Safari, Finder is still active and Safari loads in the background (inactive). I have to click on Safari to make it appear in the foreground and it's kind of annoying.
    I really don't want to do a clean installation of Snow Leopard since that takes a good chuck of time to do. I tried repairing my disk permissions and reinstalled Snow Leopard using the installation disc to see if it would fix important system files but even after that my Dashboard Widgets and app opening problems exist.
    Thanks for any suggestions and help you guys can provide.

    Does anyone else have this problem? I've done a virus scan using Sophos Anti-Virus and nothing comes up.

    Go to system preferences, mission control, and unselect "Show Dashboard as a Space".  While you're there, you may want to make dashboard set to a hot corner "Hot Corners" button at the bottom.

    Yes hello,
    My widgets are not working as well, i looked on forms and it seams that the 10.5 update fix there problems. I also did an archive and install from 10.4... One of the major reasons i purchased the upgrade was to use widgets to clip parts of safari, i'am totaly bummed because all forums i find end with the question un answered. i'am a little bummed becuase there are a couple of things that worked with 10.4 that are not working in 10.5 (like some meg moives not playing.
    i do not wish to create a new account because i do not want to reinstall all my software, photoshop, final cut, dvd studio pro.. etc.
    i hope to find the fix some how.
    I have opened up the console application and when i select widgets load or delete them i see no activity in the console. I'am not familiar with the console app. or command lines.
    is there any more info on this matter? is there any support from apple?
    Thankyou

  • 8.81 B1iC error when enabling Dashboard Widget

    Hi,
    In the B1 client when enabling the Dashboards (Cockpit -> General Settings -> Enable Dashboard Widget) I get the following error in red at the bottom of the screen (and in the client message log):
    Install SAP Business One Integration Service before enabling the dashboard widget Message ID = 1290000001
    I have a clean install of 8.81 PL00 and the Integration Component, company database is a new a demo  database (SBODemoAU).
    The B1iC install created the correct SLD and I have tested the B1DI & JDBC connections and both report successful connections.
    There is also a successful message in the Integration Framework message log for trigger object 1210000008 which I believe from the doco and previous versions that this is the Dashboard deployment to the Bizstore.
    I have gone through the B1iC Troubleshooting guide as much as possible (it does not yet have the 8.81 updates) but nothing helps.
    I understand the B1iServer address is now automatically created in 8.81 but how do I check the correct value and fix this problem.
    I have spent a few days on this trying different things, sniffing the network, analyzing SQL calls, so any help would be appreciated.

    I too am finding the same issues.  Am on 8.81 PL7.  (8.81.315).  B1DI and JDBC test good.  Cockpit at Company level enabled.  Enable dashboard widget does not work.  I receive "Ensure that SAP Business One Integration Service and SAP Business One Event Sender Service have been started; then wait 1 minute and try again"  Both are running and have been for 24 hours.
    From an earlier post about port 8443, here is an extract from my C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\SAP Business One Integration\B1iServer\Tomcat\conf\server.xml
      -->
    <Connector port="8080" protocol="HTTP/1.1" connectionTimeout="20000" redirectPort="8443" enableLookups="false" server=" "/>
        <Connector executor="tomcatThreadPool"
                   port="8080" protocol="HTTP/1.1"
                   connectionTimeout="20000"
                   redirectPort="8443" />
        -->
              <!-- Define a SSL HTTP/1.1 Connector on port 8443
    <Connector port="8443" protocol="org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11Protocol" SSLEnabled="true" maxThreads="200" scheme="https" secure="true" clientAuth="false" sslProtocol="TLS" keystoreFile="./webapps/B1iXcellerator/.keystore" keyAlias="tomcat" keystorePass="sapB1iP" server=" "/>
    <!-- Define an AJP 1.3 Connector on port 8009 -->
         <Connector port="8009" protocol="AJP/1.3" redirectPort="8443"/>
    Any thoughts on how to resolve?

  • Getting error while Enable Dashboard Widget

    Dear Experts,
    I am getting error while Enable Dashboard Widget
    u201CInstall SAP Business One Integration Service before enabling the dashboard widgetu201D
    Even I follow all step by step process.
    Thanks
    Kamlesh

    Hi Kamlesh,
    Have you tried the following:
    Deactivate the cockpit in your Business One database - Disable My Cockpit and also disable cockpit in General Settings
    Run EventSender Setup (in first step try to avoid using localhost or IP addresses)
    In third step press Test Connection, in fourth step make sure that your database is checked, press also Receiver but ton and then Test Connecion.
    Finish EventSender setup.
    Click on SLD in the B1i Framwork and ensure connection to the Company databsae (B1DI and JDBC) is successful.
    Go back to B1i Framework UI, click Scenarios in upper menu, then select Control in left menu and (re)activate Xcelsius scenario.
    Restart EventSender service, Integration Service and Proxy services via Servies (Computer Management)
    Now you can enable cockpit in your Business One database - enable cockpit in General Settings and then enable My Cockpit.
    After installation of B1ic, the company is not listed in the SLD
    Delete all entries of table SLSP and SLSPP in SBOCOMMON. Restart integration service. In SAP Business refresh the company list.
    These solutions are documented in the attached Note 1619422.
    Kind regards
    Sean

  • How to capture an HTML snippet like dashboard widget?

    How do you copy a website html to paste into an iWeb 09 html snippet? Is there a copy command in the Safari browser like when you clip a snippet to make a Dashboard widget? That would be too easy. Do I need some other software for copying the html?

    Photog Dog wrote:
    How do you copy a website html to paste into an iWeb 09 html snippet?
    Drag your pointer over the embed code so that it is all highlighted in blue. Then do ⌘C to copy it and then paste it into iWeb's HTML Snippet window by doing ⌘V.
    Is there a copy command in the Safari browser like when you clip a snippet to make a Dashboard widget?
    No — Only the general ⌘C and ⌘V editing commands mentioned above.
    Do I need some other software for copying the html?
    No.

  • Brand new iMAC, Mountain Lion installed, dashboard widgets will not download. Webpage times out. Any suggestions?

    Just purchased a brand new iMAC and sucessfully performed download and install of Mountain Lion (free upgrade). Discovered that dashboard widgets will not download as webpage times_out in both Safari and Firefox. Already set security to allow downloads from 'anywhere' but with no change. Downloads from anywhere else works fine, just widgets won't work, and I've been trying for several days now. Any suggestions? (firewall is off).
