Code changes in the local server

Hello ,
I am on EP7.0 ERP05 and NW04s and trying to modify the ESS Applications and facing a problem where some changes are taking effect and working successfully in my local server but when I deploy them to our Development system , although it deploys it successfully it does not show the right result as in the Local server....
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Try restarting your development server, and then deploy and run your application on it.

Mail Flow between 2 AD Sites stops and EMC unavailable on the local server

Hello All,
I'm hoping you can help me find a solution to this recurring problem.
SYMPTOMS :
Mail Flow between 2 EXCH2010 servers in 2 different AD Sites (separate time zones) stops suddenly with no messages in the Event Viewer or exchange logs.
When this happens the EMC is unavailable on the local server : Error message Connection attempt to http://<servername> with the help of "Kerberos" failed : The connection to the remote server failed with the following error : Access Refused
Same error when opening Exchange Powershell
On the OTHER server (ie the one I can connect to in Site 2) I can :
1 - Connect to the first server using EMC with no problems
2 - Using mail queue viewer pointed at the server in Site 2 I can see the following error for email directed to the server in Site 1 : 451 4.4.0 Primary target address responded with: "235 00000804YIIF/<load of alphanumeric characters 80 or so long>
RECOVERY :
A reboot of the server allows access to the EMC and Powershell and mail flow once again starts.... until the next time
OTHER INFORMATION :
When in the above state, ran Exchange Management Troubleshooter which finds errors but cannot identify them : "Unknown Error" then stops !
Ran ExBPA : turns up nothing
Currently needing to reboot every day or so.
I though maybe the local server had a problem with resolving itself correctly, did some troubleshooting around that and turned up nothing. Even added itself to its hosts file in order to resolve its IP : Changed nothing.
Searched on the above error 451 4.4.0 etc and turned up nothing useful.
I think the Kerberos error is telling, but I haven't turned anything up during a search yet.
Any ideas ?
Please AMA if you need more info or clarification.

GOTO THE NAMES COLUMN ,
Choose tge radio button
black and white
color
and f4 in the name field .
and execute ,,
this will list the lsit of logos in the server .

If you don't have permission to access that server, you could be prosecuted for even attempting to access it, if you would get caught - access logs are kept for most all local networks for all network connections made or attempted. As far as bypassing it, if that server is the only way to access the internet from the local network you are using - good luck. Any network admin "worth his salt" would have that covered to protect his job and protect the network he is responsible for.

iCal will no longer sync with my work Exchange calendar.
I have deleted and added the account several times, but that is not working.
I was getting messages about specific events not being synced with the server, but now I get the following message:
"Calendar can't refresh with the account "RPD Exchange"
There was an error attempting to send your changes to the exchange server"

Just hit this issue, with 10.10.2 Yosemite myself. Simple to fix. First Close iCal. Then go to system preferences and open internet accounts. Selected the Exchange account and turn off calendar. Closes System preferences. Now, from the finder, goto the GO menu, and hold down the option key. While holding down the option key, you will see "Library" appear. Click on this and it will open a finder window. Then go to directory named Calendars. You will see a file called, Calendar Cache. It should be a big file, depending on how much you have stored on your ical, maybe around 5 to 11 megs. Move it to the trash can. Then restart iCal. iCal will crash the first time you open it due to the missing cache file. Just hit ok and reopen it. At this point iCal will reload all you accounts. This can take a couple of minutes depending on how much info is there. Most of the time you Exchange account will reload by its self, but only after all the iCloud events are rebuilt. After iCal is back up and running go back to System Preference and make sure Exchange calendar is on. Most of the time it will turn on by it's self. Best of luck.

The following should give you enough to search for discussions, as well as some general details of IP network gizmos and boxes: You'll need an ISP tier of service that allows remote access and preferably with a static IP address (static versus dynamic IP). This as various ISPs prohibit server-oriented protocols such as HTTP TCP port 80 traffic, and some firewall server-oriented ports. You'll then either need to use either dynamic DNS with your public dynamic IP — this is the hacking-around and not-really-for-production approach — or static IP with traditional DNS, and you'll also need to enable what's called port forwarding (sometimes also called virtual server) through your gateway-firewall-NAT device and into your server for TCP port 80 and possibly also TCP port 443. This port forwarding gets the incoming connections from the 'net into your public IP address (static or dynamic) mapped through to your NAT'd IP address space and your private IP address for your server.
As the first part of getting any of this to work with OS X Server, launch Terminal.app on the server and issue the following harmless diagnostic command:
sudo changeip -checkhostname
This checks for common errors in the local DNS setup, and broken networking and broken DNS tends to cause other errors elsewhere in the environment. You'll need to enter an administrative password for the sudo, you might get a one-time informational message from the sudo, and you'll then get some configuration details and then an indication that DNS and local networking needs no changes, or that there are configuration issues.

Report Scheduling. How to syncronize the GMT and the local server timezones

Hi everybody, I need to schedule reports using the Schedule tab on BIP, but I didn't still understand how the syncronization between my server's timezone and the GMT timezone works.....
I noticed that when I open the Report Schedules initial page, this is refreshed using the GMT timezone as follows:

Actually I'm located in Athens (GMT+3)
I noticed that if I want to Run once a report, ONLY the GMT is took in consideration.
For example, I want to run a report at 11.30 (Athens timeone) where the time conditions are the following:
BIP time (GMT timezone): 08.00 AM GMT
server timezone: 11.00 AM (Athens time)
So, if I want to run a report at 11.30 AM (Athens time), I have to write in BIP (Run once) 08.30 AM, instead of 11.30, otherwise if I put 11.30, the report runs 3 hours and 30 minutes later instead of only 30 minutes !!! This is very frustrating....because it means that everytime I need to remember that there is a difference of 3 hours and if I want effectively....
I also set the Report Formatting Time Zone = GMT+03:00 to fill the gap between the GMT's timezone and Athens's timezone but it didn't work....
I found that the variable <xsl:param name="_XDOTIMEZONE">GMT</xsl:param> is set into the tmpl.xsl; I tried to change it (GMT+3 or GMT+03:00), I stop and restart the BIP server....but nothing...the BIP timezone is always GMT (as showed by th Page Refreshed date and time).
At the end my question is this: is there a way to modify the internal BIP timezone in order to fill the gap between this and the server timezone ?
In other words, I'd like to see the page refreshed with the server timezone (Athens timezone) and not the GMT timezone, in order to schedule reports thinking directly my local server timezone (and not think always to calculate how many hours is the difference).
This, I think is a common issue for everybody, but....I didn't find nothing in the forum....
If somebody found a workaround, every help will be appreciated.

I know that the "Report Formatting Time Zone" is used to set the timezone properly INSIDE the report...but my attention now is concentrated on the Scheduling...
As I mentioned before I'd like to find a way to syncronize the BIP timezone (based on GMT) and my local server timezone (Athens, GMT+2), and this I think it's possiblie only if I can modify the BIP timezone (GMT): instead to have GMT, I'd like to have GMT+2 in order to have the same time in both of systems.
I already tried to change the variable <xsl:param name="_XDOTIMEZONE">GMT</xsl:param> into the tmpl.xsl, but it didn't work....
I don't understand how all the others millions of BIP users who don't live in UK can use the scheduler keeping in mind always the gap between their local time and the GMT time set in BIP......
Do you have another hint or workaround ?

Display name of shared calendar in Outlook clients after name change on the Exchange Server

I have changed the name of a conference room resource calendar on the Exchange server but the name change is not being reflected in the end user's Outlook clients. I tested a remove/re-add and that worked but I cannot have everyone in the company do this.
Is there anyway to force the change down to the Outlook clients?

I don't know for sure, but if this is the case, then it's highly likely that the GUID is used by the client after its first view of the calendar. From that point on, it appears it doesn't "revisit" the directory for updated names.
We'd need Outlook team feedback for confirmation.

Does a Change in the Local, Cached Image of iDisk Item Get Backed Up w/TM?

I use iDisk as a network drive for two Macs. If I make a change to a locally cached iDisk file, is that change captured by Time Machine?

No. The iDisk is not looked at by TM.
However, if the locally cached iDisk is disconnected and a "Previous local iDisk for AccountName.sparsebundle" is left on your Desktop it will get backed up by TM when it makes its next backup. Something to be aware of.

Does the local server send the query to remote server?

I have 2 servers,a local server connect with remote server through database link.If I execute a query at local server but only access tables in remote server,does local server send this query to remote server or all the tables at remote server will send to local server?If local server send this query to remote server,does it can execute another query while it waits the result send from remote server?
Any help would be appreciated

Yes is executed on remote , and the remote can accept queries as normal see my example below

Change in the AD Server (OAM)

Hi All,
I have successfully installed Identity and Access System and able to login to Access manager and policy domian.
now the AD is moved to the other server i.e the IP of the AD which I was using is being changed. Now I am unable to login to the Access sytem.Can anyone tell me wat config changes should I make if there is change in the ip of the AD.

You will need to reconfigure your Identity Server and Policy Manager to point to the new IP address. If Access Server has been installed, then that also needs to be reconfigured with the new IP address of the AD. To reconfigure the components you can make use with the utilities provided for reconfiguration in the "tools" directory.
Else following approach can be used :
In order to change the AD server IP in the identity server configuration files, run the setup of Identity Server. Follow the below steps to reconfigure Identity Server:
1. Stop Identity Server
2. Take a backup of the existing /identity/oblix/config folder
3. Copy the contents of ois_server_config.xml.bak to ois_server_config.xml
4. Rename/remove configInfo.xml
5. Rename/remove setup.xml
6. Remove/rename oblix/config/ldap folder
7. Start the identity server
8. Start the webpass web server
Access /identity/oblix and click on Identity System Console, you will be prompted to go through setup screen. Here you can provide the new IP address of the AD server.
Same steps can be followed to reconfigure the Policy Manager.

I am a DBA and starting to learn powershell, I knew basics on powershell from the databases side(like finding db properties/setting up alerts etc) and familiar with DOS equivalent power shell commands. However, I would like to learn security/user
permissions in powershell. I would like to start with something small and build on it. One thing,I am trying to accomplish is"trying to see if a user a member of admin group". I found some solutions online, but it was referring current user
but i want to pass the user name. Second thing, I would like to see if a user has permissions to a task such as "perform volume maintenance task".
I see some solutions,refering to ADSI, but I am not sure whether thats the only way to do as I said, I need find this locally on that server. Any reference to basics in powershell security and how to explore the security features(like finding if a
user has permissions to do "perfor volume maintainece task") woudl be great.
