Code developed in NWDS 7.1 CE7.1 not working in NWDS 7.1 EHP1

Hi,
The code developed using NWDS CE7.1 is working fine at runtime and then migrated to NWDS 7.1 EHP1 for a new requirement.The same code in NWDS 7.1 EHP1 is not working at runtime . The problem is with one of the columns in a table.This column is binded to a value attribute in NWDS CE7.1 whereas in NWDS 7.1 EHP1, this "value attribute" is now just an"attribute".
The column is no longer displaying the right value at runtime when deploying the code from NWDS 7.1 EHP1.

Yes, the attribute's dataype is not effective at runtime.I had created a custom date datatype for this attribute and assigned a format"dd-MMM-yy HH.mm.ss" which is coming fine when the track has 7.10 sap dependencies but not when using a new track having same SCA file with 7.11 sap dependencies.I found it's not a problem with NWDS but when we with the version of the SAP dependencies added to the NWDI track.Kindly suggest.

We set up Airprint to our Xerox machine but we have codes set up so each department has to enter their code in before they print. Airprint will not work because we have the codes. Does any one know if there is a way to override this?

Our Xerox rep helped us set up Airprint to our copier machine. We have department codes set up on our copier so when any one goes to copy or print something they need to punch their code in. Airprint will not work because we have those codes (something prints out to the copier saying error due to accounting codes being set up). if you want a local test/development setup of Oracle why don't you just install Oracle 11gR2 XE (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/products/express-edition/downloads/index.html) ?
If you install this you get a database, APEX (4.1), client etc all in one install, this includes a webserver (EPG) on port 8080 without having to configure anything. It's a simple next-next-next installation without much configuration.
If you would like to seperate database and software you can always do this later when you understand the concepts of database/control files etc.
If you would like to upgrade to APEX 4.2 you can download this afterwards and easily install this by running two scripts in SQL*Plus ( apexins.sql and apxldimg.sql ), just check the apex 4.2 installtion guid section EPG for this.

b.t.w. If you're running windows 7 - 64 bits just use the 32 bits XE for windows, might get some warnings but you should be able to install and run, good enough for test/dev

SQL Developer: View menu selections Reports and Connections not working

Downloaded latest SQL Developer May 9 updated version and my dropdown selections from the View menu for Connections, and View Reports do not work. However, Snippets does appear when selected. Hate to lose some of the User Defined reports I had created. Any help would be appreciated.

Don't know if I get what you're saying: the entries Connections and Reports from the View menu don't work?
On top of the connection tree, if you get one, aren't there the two tabs with these options?
If you're unable to view the whole tree, you're installation would be corrupted. Install from scratch in a separate folder, first without migration to see if that resolves the issue. Then you could do the same with migration to retrieve all previous settings and connections.

SQL Developer 1.1 Patch 3 still does not work on 64-bit Windows

There has been a long-standing problem with SQL Developer 1.1 not working on 64-bit versions of Windows. When sqldeveloper.exe is executed, a very unhelpful error dialog stating "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc00000018). Click on OK to terminate the application" is displayed.
While there is a workaround that involves running the sqldeveloper.bat file in the \sqldeveloper\bin subdirectory, it is a bit inconvenient and requires the user to discover this workaround. Furthermore, SQL Developer 1.0 did not have this problem, so it is a bit puzzling as to why the problem was introduced with SQL Developer 1.1 and why it is still not fixed with the latest patch.

I can confirm that we have a fix for this problem. I'm not sure when this fix will be available in SQL Developer.
The bug was introduced in 1.1 due to optimizations in the way that the native Windows launcher works to better support products like SQL Developer.

Sql Developer 1.5.1 Drag and drop not working ?

Hi,
I've just installed this version and while the cursor changes when I drag a table to the editor, notjhing actuually happens.
I've changed the default setting (select) to prompt every time, but it makes no difference.
Is there something I should be setting to get this to work ?

I think you have the accessibility VoiceOver feature turned on.
Triple click the home button and try going to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn VoiceOver off. You may have to use three fingers to scroll the screen to get there. If problems see the following for how to turn off via iTunes:

I have recently upgraded 1 off our production machine to teststand v3 hoping that there will be no compatibility problem, but I was wrong. I noticed that the following code that runs fine in ver1.0 does not work on ver3.0 platform
1) A statement step with preconditon -- Left(Parameter.firezone,2) == "Z1"-- gives me a runtime error code of -17304: unrecongnized value '2' error in argument 2...... If I click on retry, the step works fine afterwards. I have noticed that the problem only occurs when you just open the sequence.
2)A statement step post expression code -- Locals.stepvariable = FileGlobals.Z1Firepatterns[1] XOR Locals.stepvariable -- gives me a runtime error The post-expression for the step 'Z1 con x5x
2 fire pattern ' could not be evaluated. Unrecognized value '1'. [Error Code: -17304]
It seems version 3.0 does not like arrays. Any ideas ?

Can you post a simple sequence that illustrates the two problems that you talk about. I am not aware of any issues like the ones that you describe.
