some functions and codes doesn't work on application server But it works on developer ??!!
as i have code to export data from oracle to excell . it works from developer but it doesn't from application server

I test these two codes in "This document" object, and I find out the first code works but the second code are not!
Why second code doesn't work?
Extra question: I am using microsoft 2013. I insert this code into a macro-enabled template. But when I am about to save my file I am expecting these code works. However, they didn't work!

Please note that the code snippet 2 in your post is different from the code snippet in the MSDN document. Also please read the comments of the MSDN code sample:
This example prompts the user for a yes or no response before saving any document.
This code must be placed in a class module, and an instance of the class must be correctly initialized to see this example work; see

So the problem in your code snippet 2 is that you didn't put it into a class module and initialize the class module. If you just put it into ThisDocument, you have to initialize the word application object.

I am not sure if i posted the same question before also. We have some customers who have set thier language profile in newScale requestcenter to French. However, all the javascript customizations configured on the service forms do not function for 'French' as a Langauge preference. Has anyone encountered the similar issue before and can anyone please suggest a solution for it?

we had a similar issue a while back where the Approval button was not working in Spanish, needed a fix from nS for it
The way to fix this would be to locate the language XML file, override the French caption with Submit and on onLoad write a global JS that would write the button label again (not so sure about this)
But really its an major defect and they should be able to fix it.

This may sound silly but try your date a time setting my ipod had the same problem and i had even checked the the date and time went all the way to the apple store for help and the genius guy just rest the date and time and it worked just fine.

Why Doesn't the XIRR function work?

In Excel if you have 5 records from a1:b5 then XIRR looks like this:
XIRR(A1:A5, B1:B5) you get a nice neat answer like .35
Here is a version that works in Crystal that would require manual entry of any new quarters numbers and dates-- and if you plug this into Crystal it works:

You do get a nice answer of something like .035. But this is all done manually and I need it to function automatically when the report is refreshed.
So you have a range for the currency and a range for the date fields. I need to simulate this in crystal. Crystal has an XIRR function, and with the arrays, I should be able to fill in the range, but am having difficulty getting it to work.
After building the arrays, I made another formula to combine the arrays in the XIRR formula.
I am down to this error now after getting this formula this far --
"Numerical method did not converge; try another value for guess."
Here's where I am with the formula, although they don't want to use the guess part of the XIRR function - they just want to use the XIRR(number/currency, date). Maybe you could pass this on too?:

The array works correctly. So why do I get that error and why doesn't the XIRR formula work like they say it should? Has anyone used this successfully in Crystal--maybe you could shed some light?

I am receiving that same error when the last item in the array is 0, otherwise all works perfectly.
When I run the same group of numbers and dates in Excel it returns without issue.

Publishing trouble, in html code no sound + one key doesnt work. Pure .flw everything works ??

Hello, relatively new to AS3 and flash, this is the first time i am publishing anything. We are trying to upload our simple flashgame to our webserver, the game works perfectly fine locally save for one thing. We get an error regarding TLF which says it wont stream or something. So when it gets online, no sounds play and spacebar doesn't work, left and right arrow does work. We have three TLF text fields that are used to update score, lives and show you final score. If i turn these into classical text they stop working. If we put it up as a just direct linkage to the .swf file everything works fine. It´s when we embedd it in html(our own or flash default one) that no sounds play and spacebar stops working but left and right arrow continues to work.
Things we have tried: Changing default linkage from RLS to Merged into code, changing the text boxes to classical text(they then stop working), made sure the paths are correct(all files are in the same directory including the .swz file)
Also might add publishing it locally in my own browser everything works, as does ofcourse playing it in flash itself. Changing from RLS to merged into code stops the error from coming, but doesn´t fix the problem on the server.
What really gets me is that spacebar stops working for some reason.

Uh oh. We just submitted a book that has custom widgets that play mp3 files using the <audio> tag. From javascript, I call the play() method of the audio tag. (I have one <audio> tag and I change the source to different sound files.) As Willie posted in the original description, our testing of the generated .ibooks file works great on all ipad flavors. We are not at the point yet where it exists on the ibookstore so that we can test the download.
Won't the Apple review of the book test this? It'd be so easy to write a tool that scans for mp3 files if those are not allowed. But that doesn't explain why it works in testing but not from the ibookstore.
My .wdgt folders were created by hand. I hand write the html and javascript and just put all the right files in the .wdgt folder. Everything appears to be working great, thus our submission the other day. We're waiting on the 10 day feedback period.
