Code Insight not working properly - 9.0.3. preview
We are having some problems with Code Insight on the 9.0.3 preview version of JDeveloper. We have a couple of libraries which regularly change so when a new version comes along we simply overwrite the old one (they are saved in <JDEV_HOME>\jlib. In 9.0.2 all we needed to do was exit and restart JDeveloper and the new classes could be seen in Code Insight. This doesn't seem to be the case now although my code compiles OK. We thought that there might be a cache of some sort related to these libraries and what we've found is a folder under <JDEV_HOME>\lib called ojpd. There appears to be a file for each library in here. We renamed
the ones related to our libraries and this fixed our problems, but a new version was created. It seems to us that JDeveloper should be checking the modified date of any of these libraries and if so create a new 'ojpd' file. Is this a known bug?
Thanks
Ian
JDeveloper actually checks the number of bytes in a .jar file that it has stored parse data for. I believe there was a bug in the preview release involving this check. This bug has since been fixed.
To work around it in the preview you can delete the ojpd files corresponding to the archives you have changed. The files will be named after the archive, with a hash of the unique part of their path appended.
These files are only built for archives that are included in libraries, and reside under Oracle Home (the directory containing the jdev directory), or the User Home.

Code insight not working in sql developer 1.1.0.23
i just downloaded today. insight options all checked in preferences section. popup time set to less than a second. i get nothing to work in sql worksheet or while modifying a package body.
Hello,
You should see things from this side sometimes ;-) It's a small team, working hard, very focused! Yes, there is indeed a sense of urgency and we are testing a patch SQL Developer 1.1 at the moment. There is always the battle between wanting to get an updated release to you, the community, quickly, and delaying to ensure what you get is good.
Code insight, performance and many other issues have been addressed in this patch.
As for your other point, we want the tool to be lightweight, easy to install, easy to use with a clear user interface. Perhaps there'll be a new battle when adding features, but that's the goal.
Regards
Sue -

Java Script Code not working properly for visios in sharepoint 2013
Hi all ,
I have few visios and I am using the visio web part to display and to redirect from one visio to other visio I am using the java script code through content editor web part .
In share point 2010 it's working fine , I was able to redirect to all the visios and code is working fine .
In share point 2013 its not the same , Its not working properly . only for the first time the code is working fine . once it goes to next visio the code stops working .
For example if i click in visio A it gets redirect to Visio B and its stops working , it wont allow to do any other steps .
I have checked with the URL its correct , I am not able to find any error also .
IndreshThis will be likely caused by the Minimal Download Strategy not registering the Javascript on the page reload. You can turn off the MDS feature to test this.
You can either turn off MDS in your site, or register your Javascript functions with MDS to ensure they are called. To do this, you'll need all of your code to be wrapped in a javascript file (Embed this on the page using a <script> tag and
inside that file in a function, which you then register with MDS as follows (I usually do this in the first line of the javascript file):-
RegisterModuleInit("/SiteAssets/YourJavaScriptFile.js", NameOfYourFunction);

Using Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit, Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter shows the "device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31).".The device is the Apple iMac10,1 All-in-one computer. Right clicking browse files (for the device) shows the Bootcamp (C:), DVD (D:); and my external hard drives can be selected.
Internet and WiFi connections all working ok. Am also running MacDrive 8 to access the Mac drives when in the Windows partition, again without any seeming issues.
Updating the driver simply generates another Code 31 error.
Appreciate this seems to be a known problem - is the a solution a novice use might be able to follow or should I simply ignore the error message?
Driver Date us 21/06/2006 and Driver Version is 6.1.7600.16385.Hi ,
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. It is a great site for information and questions. I have looked into your issue about your HP ENVY 4-1204tx Ultrabook and issues with WiFi adapter is not working properly. Error codes in Device Manager in Windows 8.1 could be fixed by deleting any extra drivers. So I would uninstall all that is listed in the Network drivers in the Device Manager, restart the Notebook. Here is a list of Device Manager options, this might help.
Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant if you need it. Just download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system that need updating or reinstalling. Hope this helps. Thanks. -
Undo is not working properly (grayed out)
Undo is not working properly in Indesign CC 9.2. I am using a 17" MBP running OSX 10.9.1.
Processor: 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory: 4GB 1333 MHz DDR3
I ran into this issue doing a publication layout. I was not doing anything overly complicated. Copying/pasting, placing images, adding text boxes, copying/pasting text boxes. It seems to happen without rhyme or reason.
I know that is not helpful for troubleshooting so I was able to isolate the problem. Here is how to recreate it.
Open new doc (standard letter)
Create text box with random text
copy the text box (cmd C)
paste the text box (cmd V)
move the resulting text box using selection tool (V)
select NEW text box (selection tool)
copy the NEW text box (cmd C)
paste the NEW text box (cmd V)
move the text box (selection tool).
Repeat until there are 5 text boxes (at least).
Undo the various actions after placing and moving the 5 text boxes.
I cannot undo back to a "new document."
In some cases I can only undo 2 actions before "undo" becomes grayed out, and in some cases, I can undo up to 9 or 10 actions before it gets grayed out.
Other programs running:
Illustrator
Photoshop
Text Edit
MS Word 2011
Excell 2011
Messages
Chrome
Finder
Fetch (FTP software)
I need to have these programs running simultaneously in many cases and have done so successfully in the past. I have a feeling it might be a memory issue, but I have not seen a similar post and I never had the issue with CS5 running with an identical setup. I was able to undo actions up until my previous save in CS5 sometimes 25-30 actions.I unplugged the USB items and the problem still persisted so it is not related to any of those.
I shut down InDesign and tried reopening. InDesign crashed at reopen. I have provided the log below. Hopefully this shows where the problem is occurring.

<P>
Using client side JavaScript is an efficient way to validate the user input
in web applications. When there are many fields in the form, the JavaScript
validation becomes too complex.
</P>
<P>
The JavaScript class presented here makes the form validations many times easier.
</P>
<P>
The idea is to create a set of "validation descriptors" associated with each element
in a form. The "validation descriptor" is nothing but a string specifying the type of
validation to be performed.
</P>
<P>
Each field in the form can have 0, 1, or more validations. For example, the input should
not be empty, should be less than 25 chars, should be alpha-numeric, etc
</P>
You can associate a set of validation descriptors for each input field in the form.

2. Just after defining your form,
Create a form validator object passing the name of the form<br><br>
<CODE class='htm'>
<FORM name='myform' action=""><BR>
<!----Your input fields go here --><BR>
</FORM><BR>
</CODE><CODE>
<SCRIPT language="JavaScript"><BR>
var frmvalidator = new Validator("myform");<BR>
</CODE>
<br>
<br>
3. Now add the validations required<br><br>
<CODE>
frmvalidator.addValidation("FirstName","alpha");
</CODE><br><br>
the first argument is the name of the field and the second argument is the
validation descriptor, which specifies the type of validation to be performed.<br>
You can add any number of validations.The list of validation descriptors are provided
at the end of the documentation.<br>
The optional third argument is the error string to be displayed if the validation
fails.<br>
<br>
<CODE>
frmvalidator.addValidation("FirstName","alpha");<br>
frmvalidator.addValidation("FirstName","req","Please enter your First Name");<br>
frmvalidator.addValidation("FirstName","maxlen=20",<br>
"Max length for FirstName is 20"); <br>
</CODE> <br>
<br>
4. Similarly, add validations for the fields where validation is required.<br>
That's it! You are ready to go.

<h3>Some Additional Notes</h3>
<LI type="disc">The form validators should be created only after defining the HTML form
(only after the </form> tag. )<br>
<LI type="disc">Your form should have a distinguished name.
If there are more than one form
in the same page, you can add validators for each of them. The names of the
forms and the validators should not clash.

<A name="5"></A>
<h3>Adding Custom Validation</h3>
If you want to add a custom validation, which is not provided by the validation descriptors,
you can do so. Here are the steps:
<LI type="disc">Create a javascript function which returns true or false depending on the validation.<br>
<CODE>
function DoCustomValidation()<BR>
{<BR>
var frm = document.forms["myform"];<BR>
if(frm.pwd1.value != frm.pwd2.value)<BR>
{<BR>
alert('The Password and verified password does not match!');<BR>
return false;<BR>
}<BR>
else<BR>
{<BR>
return true;<BR>
}<BR>
}<BR>
</CODE><br>
<LI type="disc">Associate the validation function with the validator object.<br>
<CODE>
frmvalidator.setAddnlValidationFunction("DoCustomValidation");
</CODE><br>
</LI>
<P>
The custom validation function will be called automatically after other validations.
</P>
<P>
If you want to do more than one custom validations, you can do all those
validations in the same function.
</P>
<CODE>
function DoCustomValidation()<BR>
{<BR>
var frm = document.forms["myform"];<BR>
if(false == DoMyValidationOne())<BR>
{<BR>
alert('Validation One Failed!');<BR>
return false;<BR>
}<BR>
else<BR>
if(false == DoMyValidationTwo())<BR>
{<BR>
alert('Validation Two Failed!');<BR>
return false;<BR>
}<BR>
else<BR>
{<BR>
return true;<BR>
}<BR>
}<BR>
</CODE><br>
where DoMyValidationOne() and DoMyValidationTwo() are custom functions for
validation.
<A name="6"></A>
<h3>Clear All Validations</h3>
In some dynamically programmed pages, it may be required to change the validations in the
form at run time. For such cases, a function is included which clears all validations in the
validator object.<br><br>
<CODE>
frmvalidator.clearAllValidations();
</CODE><br>
<br>
this function call clears all validations you set.<br>
You will not need this method in most cases.

I just had a conversation with Linksys' Customer Service via chat: Daphne L. J: Hello Fernando Paramo. My name is Daphne L..
Daphne L. J: Welcome to Linksys Global Chat. Is this your initial contact or do you have a case number?
You: Case number is 04971062
Daphne L. J: Please give me 3-5 minutes to pull up and review your case.
You: OK
Daphne L. J: Thank you.
You: I have a WRT1900AC, V1. The router is not working properly. I have disconnections every few minutes.I already installed the new firmware version and I still have the same issues. I already reset the router to factory defaults and same issues. I have changed the settings back to my personal preferences: Changed the SSID, changed the wireless security settings, changed the DNS and deactivate WPS. That's it.I'm using 5 Ghz mode with my laptops (5 Ghz adapters) and 2-4 Ghz with a few devices (Chromecast, Nintendo 3DS).
Daphne L. J: Thank you for waiting.
Daphne L. J: Please confirm if the following information is correct:
Name : Fernando Paramo
Phone Number :
E-Mail Address :
Model Number : WRT1900AC
Serial Number : 13J10609406280
Country : United States
You: That's correct.
Daphne L. J: Okay. Were you able to check if the devices have stable connection wired to the router?
You: No. I do not have devices with Ethernet ports. Well, only the cable modem.
You: But the modem is fine. No disconnections from my ISP.
You: It is the router.
Daphne L. J: Alright. What is the current firmware version of your router?
You: I tried to return the router to Wal-Mart yesterday with no luck. This is a useless device. And I have been reading comments on the community forums and a lot of people are having problems.
Daphne L. J: We are actually aware of the issue and are working on a resolution. What is the current firmware version of your router?
You: Ver. 1.1.10.167514
You: Latest one.
Daphne L. J: Yes, so you reflashed the firmware, reset and then manually reconfigure it after, not using backup configuration, is that right?
You: That's correct.
Daphne L. J: And it is intermittent on all devices connected to both 2.4 and 5 Ghz networks, is that right?
You: That's correct.
Daphne L. J: Thank you for the information. Please give ,e 3-5 minutes to verify this with my superior.
Daphne L. J: Thank you for waiting.
You: I want to send you my WRT1900AC and get a V2 or I want a EA8500 and pay the difference myseld.
You: I do not want my current hardware.
You: It is useless for my needs.
You: I can't believe I had an older E3000 that didn't give me any problems.
Daphne L. J: We have already exhausted all possible troubleshooting steps for your concern. As verified with my Supervisor, we will forward your case to our Customer Assurance Team. They are highly technical and knowledgeable when it comes to advanced troubleshooting. They will contact you in the next 24 to 48 hours. By the way, who is your Internet Service Provider? And do you Cable or DSL connection?
You: Cable connection.
Daphne L. J: Who is your Internet Service Provider?
You: A company called .
You: How are they going to contact me?
Daphne L. J: Alright. By the way, on the device itself, on its FCC ID, please check if you have WRT1900AC or WRT1900AC v2.
You: Are you paying attention to me?
You: I already told you it's V1.
Daphne L. J: They will call or email you. Please double check if these informations are correct:
Name :
Phone Number :
E-Mail Address :
You: I told you I want to send you my WRT1900AC and get a V2 or I want a EA8500 and pay the difference myself.
You: I want them to contact me to my email. I can't answer the phone during work hours.
Daphne L. J: We can't assure you if we will be able to replace it with Version 2 or if you are allowed to have the EA8500 instead.
Daphne L. J: Just in case, do you also have an alternate number?
Daphne L. J: Also, what time zone are you in? And what is your preferred time and day for them to contact you?
You: I have the one from my office in Mexico. Central Time. Any time is good.
Daphne L. J: So, you are currently in Mexico?
You: I work in Mexico but I have the house in USA. I live in the border.
Daphne L. J: I see. Do you have any other questions or clarifications?
You: I live 10 minutes away from the International Bridge. But that's not an issue. I bought the router at Walmart in Laredo, TX.
Daphne L. J: Thank you for the information. Would that be all for now?
You: I want a clarification: Do you realize that there is an issue with the current WRT1900AC? Are you aware of that?
You: Because this is a very expensive router that is not working as it should be.
Daphne L. J: Yes, we are aware of the issue and are working on a resolution.
Daphne L. J: Would there be anything else you need?
You: That would be it. I will wait for you to contact me.
You: Thanks.
Daphne L. J: Alright. Thank you for giving us an opportunity to serve you through Linksys Live Chat. You may also visit our support site at www.linksys.com. For your reference, your case number is 04980394. Thank you for choosing Linksys and have a great day! We paid $250 for this piece of equipment. That's a lot of money for a device that doesn't work. I just want to get a V2 replacement, or better yet, an exchange for a EA8500. We should all demand this. It is not fair for us. The current WRT1900AC is a useless device. They even should do a recall of the product. I will wait for them to contact me, but I'm thinking if I should send the information to The Consumerist or someone else. What to do?Hello. I sent my WRT1900AC V1 to Linksys four days ago (Monday) via UPS with a RMA. Linksys paid the shipping and everything. The router is still in route, and it should arrive to their offices tomorrow. Once they receive the WRT1900 AC V1, they are going to send me an EA8500 as a replacement. But I have been reading the comments about the EA8500 here in the forum and it seems to have the same problems. I guess the firmware is extremely flawed in both routers (maybe it is almost the same code?). Anyway, I will try the EA8500 and I hope it works. I bought a temporary router from Walmart and I paid $35 for it. It is a Belink N600 DB. I can't believe that a $35 router is working a lot, lot, lot better than my previous $250 WRT1900AC router. Unbelievable. If the EA8500 doesn't work, I'm going to try and get my money back from Linksys, or contact The Consumerist or someone to get my money back and get a Nighthawk instead.

My APPLE ID is NOT working properly. I am frustrated beyond belief I have tried time and time again to change my apple ID and it keeps reverting back to my original ID!! I even set up a new email to try to submit a new id and it still does not work
To change your Apple ID, follow these steps:
Go to My Apple ID (appleid.apple.com), click "Manage your Apple ID", and sign in.
If you have two-step verification turned on, you'll be asked to send a verification code to the trusted device associated with your Apple ID. If you are unable to receive messages at your trusted device, follow the guidelines for what to do if you can't sign in with two-step verification.
In the "Apple ID and Primary Email Address section," click Edit.
Enter the email address you want to use, then click Save Changes. Apple will send a verification email to that address.
Open the email from Apple, then click Verify Now in the email.
When the My Apple ID page opens, sign in with your renamed Apple ID.
If you have two-step verification turned on, you'll be asked to send a verification code to the trusted device associated with your Apple ID.
After you see a message indicating that verification is complete, remember to update all of the stores and services that you use with your Apple ID. -
Image display control scrolling does not work properly when zoomed in
I am using a ROI on an image in the image display control. When zooming into the image to fine-adjust the positioning of the ROI, the image scrolling does not work properly. As far as I understand, the image should scroll automatically when the ROI is leaving the visible area. However, the scrolling behaviour seems to depend on the origin of the Labview panel, not the origin of the image display control, which might require to move the ROI way out of the visible area before the scrolling takes place. In other words: the coordinate system of the image display control is shifted with respect to the true visible image area, depending on where you place it on the front panel. As a consequence, when clicking on a ROI which is in the visible area, but is outside of what Labview thinks is the visible area, it might immediately jump to the left border of the image, making the positioning of the ROI really difficult.
Has anyone noticed this behaviour, and what would be a reliable solution to avoid this?
DirkHello,
no, I am not talking about the tools palette. Just place an image control with some image in it on a new VI front panel. Then, use the rectangle from the tools and select a ROI in the image. If you zoom in (using the magnification glass), and then grab the ROI and move it around, the image scroll with the ROI. So far, so good. If you now place the image control elsewhere on the panel, or add new control above it, resize the panel, etc. , this scrolling when moving the ROI will not work correctly if the origin (0,0) of the panel is far away from the image control.
I have attached a VI for simplicity (although there is hardly any code in it).
If you make a ROI and try to move it down, you will notice that scrolling starts if you move the mouse out to about 10cms below the image (depens on your screen, of course). After that, if you click on the ROI, the scroll bars and ROI might jump up to the upper end of the image. Imagine how annoying this is if you try to finely adjust the ROI position.
I think it is a bug in the implementation of the image display control.
Thanks,
Dirk

Copy Function is Not Working properly In Order Management
Hi,
Description-
When an order with remnant model is copied, it copied only the topple model line and they include items attached to the top model line. It doesn’t copy the
option class lines and the option item lines (unshipped and shipped).
Example-
Enter an order with for pd-pto-model. See order#21231.The ordered quantities and structure of the model is shown below:
pd-pto-model 5 qty
pd-std-item1 (included item) 5 qty
pd-pto-oc (option class) 5 qty
pd-std-item1 (included item with rfr checked) 5 qty
pd-std-item2 (option item with rfr checked) 5 qty
pd-std-item3 (option item) 5 qty
Booked the order and pick relased the order. While shipconfirming only shipped 5 qty of pd-std-item3 and staged the rest. On querying the sales order, the line status is seen correctly as follows:
pd-pto-model Closed
pd-std-item1 (included item) Picked
pd-pto-oc (option class) Closed
pd-std-item1 (included item with rfr checked) Picked
pd-std-item2 (option item with rfr checked) Picked
pd-std-item3 (option item) Partially Interfaced to receivables
Copied this order from the order header. The new order# is 21232.On querying the order, I see only 2 lines as follows:pd-pto-model.
Anyone can help me on this issue.
Thanks,

Hi ,
We are facing an issue with select() in Solaris 10. we had written a sample program to this issue.
Program name :- sel.cpp
int main()
struct timeval sleeptime;
sleeptime.tv_sec = 60;
printf("1\n");
select(0,NULL,NULL,NULL,&sleeptime);
printf("2");
return 0;
When i run this program in Solaris 9, its printing 1 and after one minute its printing 2.
When i run this program on Solaris 10, its printing 1 and 2 without waiting for 60 seconds.
When i tried to print tv_usec, its printing as 0 in solaris 9 and some garbage values in solaris 10.
I think because of that the above select function is not working properly in solaris 10.
Why the tv_usec is not taking 0 as default values in Solaris 10?
We are using our legacy code for past 20 years. So, before going to do any changes we are trying to find why this happenig like this.Hi
It sounds to me that you've been lucky for 20 years then.
Local POD variables on the stack that aren't explicitly initialized can contain any value. Here's what I see in your app with dbx
(dbx) run
Running: sel
stopped in main at line 9 in file "sel.cpp"
9 sleeptime.tv_sec = 60;
(dbx) print sleeptime
sleeptime = {
tv_sec = -4198732
tv_usec = 0
}That's on a Solaris 10 SPARC machine. If I try it on a Solaris 10 x86 box then I get
(dbx) print sleeptime
sleeptime = {
tv_sec = -830490588
tv_usec = 134510556
and I see the behaviour that you describe.

Best Regards,You need to upgrade your copy of MS Office. You're using a version that is 8 years old (at least). You can buy Office 2011, which will work. You could also get a copy of Pages from the App Store, which is cheaper and will open Word files (though not perfectly). Or you could get a free Office clone, like OpenOffice or LibreOffice.

Select() function is not working properly in solaris 10.
Hi ,
We are facing an issue with select() in Solaris 10. we had written a sample program to this issue.
Program name :- sel.cpp
int main()
struct timeval sleeptime;
sleeptime.tv_sec = 60;
printf("1\n");
select(0,NULL,NULL,NULL,&sleeptime);
printf("2");
return 0;
So, before going to do any changes we are trying to find why this happenig like this.
Thanks a lot.

It sounds to me that you've been lucky for 20 years then.
Local POD variables on the stack that aren't explicitly initialized can contain any value. Here's what I see in your app with dbx
(dbx) run
Running: sel
stopped in main at line 9 in file "sel.cpp"
9 sleeptime.tv_sec = 60;
(dbx) print sleeptime
sleeptime = {
tv_sec = -4198732
tv_usec = 0
}That's on a Solaris 10 SPARC machine. If I try it on a Solaris 10 x86 box then I get
(dbx) print sleeptime
sleeptime = {
tv_sec = -830490588
tv_usec = 134510556
and I see the behaviour that you describe.

my speaker is not working properly in 4s if i use headphone its working now my volume increase decrease button is also not working properly how can i solve it pl help me my warranty finished
Hello.
