Code to put URL address in iChat profiles so that they are clickable

as dumb as that sounds i cannot figure out how to do this. I used to use AIM with will do this automatically but i dont know how to work the iChat program taht will yet

Create a new chat with someone or no screenname at all, if you'd like.
Then go to the Edit menu and insert a hyperlink. This will insert the hyperlink in the chat box. Copy that hyperlink in the chat box/reply area and paste it into your profile.
You cannot use < a href tags in iChat's profile editor due to security reasons.

I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. But over time, some of my contacts have started showing up, although i am still missing over 800 of them.

There is no such code required to use the Apple TV. A user can setup a passcode to be required for airplay, and Apple ID is required for use of the iTunes store (or any other subscriptions associated with it).

Creat a Bill Pay list, add all your bills set a reminder to repeat every month and when you pay one just check them off as complete

First, we need to know if the audiobook chapters are being treated by iTunes as music files or as audiobooks. If they are not audiobooks purchased from the iTunes store, they might be getting "shuffled". You will need to look at "File" - "Properties" (I think - I don't use iTunes under Windows - or right-click on the file and choose "properties") and look at the media type. If it is "Music", change it to "Audiobook". If this is not the problem, or does not fix anything, please post back.
Actually, looking at your post again, a second thought occurs to me - assuming there are less than 100 chapters in the book, just renaming them with a leading zero on the first nine chapters might do it. A computer will alphabetically sort filenames in the order you quote (1, 10, 11, 12, 13, ... 2, 21, etc.) but a leading zero will fix that (01, 02, 03 ... 10, 11, 12)

LR 4 and custom DNG camera profiles... they are not embedded?!

i have the colorchecker passport for some days.
my workflow:
import the .CR2 raw files from memorycard as DNG copy into lightroom.
create a DNG camera profile with the colorchecker passport (LR export -> xrite colorchecker).
then i choose the created camera profile and i set the whitebalance.
all working fine... as it should.
my problem is, i don´t want to have a hundred DNG profiles, i will sure create that much over the time, on my harddisk.
i think it´s messy and it´s also not very save to have the profiles only as separate files, in case you lose the profiles.
i thought the camera profile can be embedded INTO the DNG file.
i thought the camera profile is written into the DNG files when i write the metadata back into the files.. but it seems not.
it seems the DNG camera profile is only embedded into the DNG image file when i EXPORT the DNG file again with the LR export dialog.
for example:
i choose the camera profil "MY 5D MK2 PROFIL_1" for an image and then save the metadata back into the DNG image file.
then i delete the camera profile "MY 5D MK2 PROFIL_1" from harddisk.
the next time i open LR and select the same image ... the cameraprofile is reverted back to "adobe standard" and the profil i have created is gone.
when i EXPORT the image as DNG, then even after i have deleted the DNG cameraprofile "MY 5D MK2 PROFIL_1" from the hardisk.... the profil is still in the DNG image.
that´s what i want... but i have to export all files again as DNG files.
i would really like to get rid of this extra step.
i hope my english is good enough so you understand what my problem is.
can anyone share a light on this?

possible.... but imho that can lead (at least in my case ) to problems.
in the case when you forget to update the DNG manually and delete the profiles (because you think they are already embeded via STRG+S).
or when you send them to someone without updating the DNG preview... i think that is unessesary complicating things without gaining a real benefit.. not?
afaik there is no filter option so you can create a smartfilter for images that need to be updated this way?

Help! I put every photo in the trash and now they are unorganized

I put every photo in the trash and was not able to restore them to their original position.Thankfully, I was able to save these photos but they are now a jumble. Every photo spawned 5 or so derivatives- face photos, PM, etc. Plus, I had photos saved outside of iphoto and imported in to iphoto. Now iPhoto is full of empty squares.
What is the best (and fasted way) to get to a restored state?

If your Masters folder is intact you can start over from scratch and get the event structure you had - drag the Masters folder to the desktop, start a new iPhoto library and drag each folder from the Masters folder to the open iPhoto window - this will recreate the events you had

Currently I am statically import XSD Schema files from my hard disc into projects.
However I would prefer to put these XSD files onto the local Web(HTTP)server so that I can refer to them
dynamically with a http://... address.
How (where/which directory) do I have to put the XSD schema files on the local Oracle WebServer so that I can refer to them as http://127.0.0.1/... resp. http://localhost/....

I have placed my xsd file hierarchy under $ORACLE_HOME/bpel/system/xmllib, and address them with something like http://HOST:PORT/orabpel/xmllib/XYZ.xsd, as you suggest. This works fine if the schemas are in the xmllib directory itself. However, if I put the schemas in a subdirectory, the server does not produce the schema, just a blank page.

I have some movies I used redempetion codes for in iTunes on my computer hard drive, but they are not showing up on my Purchased list nor in the Cloud. I am concerned if something should happen to my computer that the movies will be lost.

I can only answer your first issue. In your ipad go to settings, iTunes & App Store, click on your Apple ID and sign out. Wait a few minutes and then log back in. The hidden apps shouldn't show any more on your ipad.

I recently read about how to go about changing the URL
address of a page so that it is somewhat reversed; where the domain
name is after a sub directory name. The effect, for my purposes,
would be to have the site address with a customers name first (the
customer's name is the name of a sub-folder in the root folder),
and then the domain name. The effect is a more personalized URL.
EXAMPLE:
Current URL -
http://verycoolsite.com/dairyqueen
(opens the index page from the sub-folder, dairyqueen)
Desired URL -
http://dairyqueen.verycoolsite.com
(same site index page is opened, but more personalized effect)
This is often seen in blog URL's (davedog.blogger.com).
So, how is this done? Is it done from the ISP? Or is there
code to add to the html that will do this?
Any help appreciated.

If you don't own a domain name, please don't use it in
examples. Use
either sitename.invalid (the whole "invalid" top level domain
is
reserved for non-existent domains), or use
example.com|net|org, which
are reserved domain names to use as examples.
It's a combination of DNS (subdomain.example.com has to point
somewhere) and server configuration (your server has to know
that
subdomain.example.com should get served the contents of
/home/sbisa/public_html
Blogs are different in that they are (for the most part)
database
driven, and sbisablog.example.com would be more likely to be
the
equivalent of example.com/blogindex.php?username=sbisa, and
blogindex.php generates pages based on that username.

Url address: using DOI

Greetings,
I have a journal/publication client that is wanting me to
begin using a unique-identifier for each of their articles in
thieir Journal. This new initiative is to conform with their
participation in the DOI (dig. obj. identifier) process for the
articles in their journal.
To comply, they need to have a url setup such as
http://www.ajjtp.org/10.3519/ajournal.2006.2163
(preferred) or
http://www.ajjtp.org//doi.cfm?doi=10.3519/ajournal.2006.2163')
and then have that url pull up the correct article pdf from thier
database. I have all of the DOIs (10.3519/ajournal.2006.2163) in a
database that is matched to the article pdf addresses.
But, my level of cfmx programming is only beg-mid level and
I'm not certain how to attack this project? Can anyone offer help.
