Codepage problems with PlainHTTP Adapter since upgrade to PI 7.0

Hello everybody,
I have problems some codepage problems (UTF-8) since the upgrade to PI 7.0. The PlainHTTP Adapter doesn't sends a valid UTF-8 XML to a 3rd party system anymore. Before the upgarde, the scenario works and I didn't touched it.
I found a workaround, by using the SOAP-Adapter (without SOAP Envelope) instead of the PlainHTTP. This works fine.
The scneario is pretty simple. A R3 (4.6c) sends an IDoc to the XI. The XI sends the IDoc-XML via HTTP to a 3rd party system. The message itself isn't touched.
Does anybody now this problem? I don't want to involve the AdapterEngine, so I want to get rid of the SOAP Adapter
Thanks a lot,
Thomas

Yes, I use 'UTF-8' in the XML-Code.
I also tried the ISO-8859-1, this also doesn't works

Thomas

  • Is anyone having problems with apple mail since upgrading to Yosemite?

MacBook Pro 15", mid 2012 running Yosemite 10.10.1 - ever since upgrading to Yosemite, I have a problem with Apple Mail which is that the from address persists on my screen after I close the email.  I have to quit mail and sometimes even restart to get rid of it.  Has anyone else experienced this?  Any ideas?

No, I mean it lingers when I close the email. What I've discovered since I posted earlier is that if I reopen the email and hover over the address  in the actual email the one that is persisting goes away.  Thank goodness, because it is very annoying. I am wondering if it is somehow intentional in the SW. Thank you for asking.

  • Problem with 4 displays since upgrading from 10.3.9 to 10.5.6

I was happily running 4 displays from my 2 graphics cards (9600XT and 9200) under 10.3.9. 3 x DVI (one of which is with the ACI adapter) and 1 running via VGA to a plasma TV. The 3 displays running from DVI were all "name" recognized and all resolution options were available.
I have now upgraded to 10.5.6 and suddenly two of the displays are recognized and I am only given a single, low resolution option on the other two - also on these two affected displays, display the Leopard background (the Universe pic) is mainly blue - almost like when you have a loose cable (but they are not).
The problem is not card specific i.e. it seem to effect one socket from each card.
I have tried swapping the displays between the cards and when I do the alternate display is then recognized so it can't be a problem with any of the displays either.
Any ideas? I need all 4 displays running in their respective resolutions (and without a blue screen) for Logic screenshots.

  • Problem with Courier font since upgrading to Office 2007

    Hi everybody,
Since we upgraded to Office 2007, one of our Acrobat users (he is the only person in the firm really using Acrobat actually) has problems when exporting Word documents to PDF.
So he is using Word 2007 and Acrobat Pro 9 (included in the CS4), he is modifying documents that were created with earlier versions of Word and the problem he has is since he has upgraded to Office 2007 (he was already using Acrobat Pro 9 without problem with Word 2003), text in the Courier font is replaced by those rectangles like unknown characters :
So I would like to know what has changed in Word 2007 that makes it that the Courier font cannot be exported to a PDF (from what I read it is one of the standard fonts always included in PDF readers), if I can change some settings to fix it without modifying all the Word documents or at least get a warning when it is going to happen.
Indeed the user's biggest concern is that he doesn't even receive a warning that that specific font won't be output correctly so he might change only some text or images in the Word document and export it to PDF and he will still have to check the whole document to make sure there was no Courier text that didn't make it through.
P.S. He is using the Adobe PDF printer to do the export.
    Thanks.
    Jonathan V.

Actually, I have a bit more information to share :
In the PDF files created before upgrading to Office 2007 (with Word 2003), I can see that Courier - Type 1 - ANSI is partially embedded (I thought it was supposed to be one of the base/system fonts).
I tried to export one of the Word documents affected again, replacing part of the Courier text with the Courier New font to see if it would work, the text in Courier New is showing correctly while the text in Courier still shows as squares.
When I check the fonts in the PDF file, CourierNewPSMT - TrueType - ANSI, is embedded (not partially ??) and Courier - TrueType - ANSI is partially embedded.
So I don't understand why Courier was embedded as Type 1 (but it worked) and now it supposedly embeds a TrueType Courier font that doesn't seem to work.
Again, the major problem is that there is no warning that the font won't output correctly, so you have to check the whole document again or you might end up with some parts unreadable.

  • Problem with network drives since upgrading

Anyone else having issues with mapped network drives in Mavericks?
I've bene using a Windows 2012 server for ages and not had any problems with the various drive mappings, but since upgrading to Mavericks I'm constantly getting an error -51 when copying files, only a reboot fixes it, and then only for a short while. Nothing has changed on the server.
Other non Maverick machines are working fine.
    Si

Yes, same problem here and there are more reports in this forum. A patch from Apple is required, I think.

  • Problem with Cisco VPN since upgrade to Snow Leopard

Since upgrading to Snow Leopard a couple of hours ago I can no longer open up my CiscoVPN application (version 4.9.01) which I use to connect to my network at work. When I try now I just get an "Error 51: message"
*Error 51: Unable to communicate with the VPN subsystem.*
Please make sure that you have at least one network interface that is currently active and has an IP address and start this application again.
I can still connect to the network if I use Parallels and use the Windows VPN client - but that's not really the point! I've tried the popular suggestion for Error 51 errors in the past (typing "sudo SystemStarter restart CiscoVPN" via Terminal) which doesn't work.
    Any ideas or help appreciated.
    Acculess

I was able to get it working without re-downloading the client (4.9.0.1.0080 was already installed). I noticed that System/Library/StartupItems/CiscoVPN had been removed during the upgrade to snow leopard, so I pulled it back off of a Time Machine backup. Restoring that directory and doing a 'sudo /System/Library/StartupItems/CiscoVPN/CiscoVPN restart' seemed to fix things up.

  • Problems with search bar since upgrading to 4.0

We run two applications that worked flawflessly under 3.2 but have some issues now we have upgraded to APEX 4.0. The first application was built using a slightly altered (colors only) theme provided with APEX 3.2 (don't know its original name since we copied it under another one but it was the orange/grey one). Since upgrading the finder dropdown menu doesn't show anymore. Or rather, a tiny fraction of it is visible, only the top 2 mm or so, exactly the part that falls within the confinements of the search bar. Also the ascending/descending images don't show (although I am not quite sure that they did before the update).
Our second application was built using a third party theme and has -since the upgrade- some additional issues: the finder dropdown menu doesn't appear at all (not even a tiny bit) and the symbols for toggling between report and chart appear but don't work. We tried switching it to one of the themes that come with APEX 4.0 and after that everything worked fine. Alas, a theme switch is no option for the production versions.
    Suggestions, anyone?
Robert (still struggling to change my handle).

  • Problem with JMS Adapter after upgrade to 7.1

    Hi All,
After an upgrade the JMS adapter connecting IBM Websphere MQ gives the following error:
Error connecting due to missing class: com.ibm.mq.jms.MQQueueConnectionFactory. Ensure that all resources required are present in the JMS provider library: aii_af_jmsproviderlib.sda
Since we are now on PI 7.1, the directory the JMS adapter should be looking for the libraries should be com.sap.aii.adapter.lib.sda. Has anyone else come across this problem after an upgrade? Should we remove the old aii_af_jmsproviderlib.sda?
Edited by: Luqman on Oct 31, 2008 5:39 PM

    ●      connector.jar (use the JAR file from the J2EE client directory)

  • TS3899 Problems with Yahoo emails since upgrade.

My Yahoo emails keep showing as unread after iOS 7.02installed even when read, any ideas?

Do you see an error when trying to receive mail? If not, then it is probably a Yahoo issue. They are infamous for having problems and servers going down in the iOS Mail program. Check with them.

Wifi issues are one of the common issues being reported by users.  There is not much you can do at this point but wait and hope that th 10.8.1 update will address these issues.

It will input your Quicken PPC data file directly if it was Quicken 2005 through 2007.  If older you need Quicken 2006 or 2007 PPC first to convert your data file; and this update must be done BEFORE you upgrade to Mavericks:
