Codes appearing on the Body of my Outlook e-mails

Can someone make this stop?  I keep getting these codes when I send an email.  Actually I'm not sure if it's the mail I'm sending or receiving.  It started the day i started to get my emails on both my outlook and Blackberry.

  • How can I embed Xcelsius in the body of an Outlook e-mail?

    I have been trying to put my Xcelsius canvas directly into the body of an e-mail (I don't want it to be an attachment), but so far I have been unsuccessful.
    I have tried expporting it to Word (2007) and then from there sending it by using "Send to Mail recipient" option.  However, its just comes up with a blank box or one with an X in it.  I have also tried cutting and pasting it, but I get the same result.  I also tried putting it into power point and again copying and pasting but still it doesn't work and making it a webpage and sending it that way with no result.  I feel that there is a simple way of doing this that I am missing.  Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks!

    sounds like the Billing Alert functionality which is currently in preview:

    Not sure though if that works under EA as well.

    Yep! And if you absolutely need (or think you need) that functionality, it is worth every penny.
    As Don already pointed out, exactly what the recipient sees will depend on how they've set up their machine and what unnecessary 3rd party apps they might've installed to display attachments the way they want.
    In theory, that is true. In practice, Attachment Tamer will cause more of your messages to show up as plain-jane icons on the other end. The problem is, after all, people running Outlook 2003 and 2007. These people likely aren't doing many system modifications.
    If I were you, I'd use the free solutions provided above, save my money and let my recipients decide how they will handle their mail.
    I completely agree.

    How can I get a newsletter created in PDF format to appear in the body of an email I send, rather than attach it.

    You cannot. (A few email programs might show it automatically; you cannot stop that either).

    Hello!
    Please try these steps: Can't see email message content

  • Can the text that says "See Attachment" that appears in the body of an e-mail be edited?

    When I attach to an e-mail, text that says "See Attachment" appears in the body of the e-mail. I would like to edit this text to say something else. I cannot find where this text is stored in the settings, and I am not even sure if it is generated by thunderbird or by the software that I am using that invokes thunderbird.
    Does anyone know where this text is stored, or if it can be edited?

    There is nothing like what you talk about, so I am unsure what the question is really.
    When you click on write a mail and then add an attachment I see nothing, but an attachment name in the top right corner of the email.

  • Making sure attached images and signatures appear in the body of sent email

    The subject line says it all. I would like recipients of my mail to see the attachment/image or signature, within the body of the email where I have placed it.....or not if I so choose. Is this possible to control from the sender's end?....or is this also influenced by the receiver's mail settings and platform?
    I know there are many posts that dance around this issue, but I have not found one that nails it. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
    PowerBook 17" & G4 Quicksilver desktop   Mac OS X (10.3.9)   Mail 1.3.11

    The Mail.app displays all image/photo and single page PDF documents inline or viewed in place within the body of the message by default. Depending on the recipient's email client and available preference settings, such attachments may appear inline or viewed in place within the body of the message by default when the message is opened (as with the Mail.app) or as attached files only for which the sender has no control over.
    If the recipient's email client is not the Mail.app but displays image/photo attachments inline or viewed in place, the attachments may not appear exactly where you placed them.
    The only way to do what you want or get as close as possible is by using HTML formatting with embedded images and/or objects and no Mail.app version includes an HTML composer/editor.
    RTF with Tiger Mail is HTML which allows for forwarding a message received that was composed in HTML keeping all intact. With Tiger, you can use the HTML editor/composer of choice with embedded images/objects, etc. and save the completed document.
    Open the saved HTML document with Safari and at the Safari menu bar, go to File and select Mail Contents of This Page. A new Mail.app message will be launched and the HTML document viewed with Safari will be copied to the message which will be sent in its entirety.
    You cannot do this with Jaguar or Panther Mail.

  • BC won't allow me to insert code (scripts) between the /body and the /html tags.

    Hi guys,
    So I have this weird problem. I'm trying to insert some codes between the </body> and the </html> tags in the page templates. It's saving it. But if you check the page, the code is showing before the </body>, not after. Here's the code that I'm trying to insert.
    <script src="http://i.simpli.fi/dpx.js?cid=1534&action=100&segment=198566&m=1"></script>
    I have also tried adding this code by downloading the templates through ftp, adding the code, then uploading it to the server. Same thing. I even added type="text/javascript" in the code. Still no go. BC wouldn't insert it between </body> and </html>. Any ideas guys?
    - Jeff

    So an update.
    I was told by Adobe chat support to try adding the script after the body via javascript.
    So I added this before </head>
    <script type="text/javascript">
    var script = document.createElement('script');
    script.src = '//i.simpli.fi/dpx.js?cid=1534&action=100&segment=198566&m=1';
    script.type = 'text/javascript';
    $("html").append(script);
    </script>
    Still not working. Any ideas guys?

  • How can I attach a document to an email as an attachment that doesn't appear in the body of the text

    When I send an email and attach a document it pastes it into the text.  How do I send it as a separate attachment?

    Control+Click or Right Click on the attachment within the body of the email and select 'view as icon'. Also make sure 'Send Windows-friendly attachments' is selected in Mail>Edit>Attachments menu.
    There is a (paid for) plug in available called Attachment Tamer that will make this the default behaviour and generally help Mail to make attachments more compatible across computer platforms.
    http://lokiware.info/Attachment-Tamer (disclaimer: no connection with the company just happy with their product - it works well).

  • I am unable to send a PDF attachment using mac mail so that it appears in the body of the email when arrives in the recipient's inbox.

    I attach the pdf file as a view in place instead of view as icon, but it arrives in the recipient's inbox as a pdf icon attachment.  I have heard that there are programs that can make the attachment be viewed in the body of the email, but i have been unable to find them.  Does anyone have any suggestions??  I have called apple care, and been to the genius bar, but nothing.  it seems that if the email is sent from mac mail to mac mail it works, but to any other mail program they only receive the icons.

    new account are created without a password, so asking for it is normal.

    Compare the passwords Thunderbird has for the other accounts and see if using the same one is what you need to do.

  • I don't want attachments appearing in the body of the e-mail

    How do I not have this happen?
    I'm sending art samples. I want to attach a full 8.5x11" page(s) that I want to be downloaded by the recipient, and then viewed in the proper way.
    But Mail is putting it in the body of the e-mail so the images are not seen in their entirety at once.
    How can I fix this? I couldn't find anything in preferences, though I am not entirely adept at Mail yet.
    Thanks.

    Well, I CC myself on all my mail and MY viewer puts it all inline.
    Because you are using the Mail.app and the Mail.app displays all graphic/image type attachments inline or viewed in place within the body of the message by default (sending and receiving) which cannot be turned off.
    And I ought to have control over it on both ends.
    Well you don't and can't have control over this at the recipient's end regardless the email client used to send a message with graphic/image attachments.
    You can compress such attachments but many virus scans at the recipient's incoming mail server and/or at the recipient's computer regard such attachments as very likely containing a virus.
    Another control issue: I'd always heard that one should not open
    certain questionable e-mail, so if it automatically opens, it's asking
    for trouble, right?
    Don't confuse automatically rendering HTML with graphic/image attachments shown inline or viewed in place within the body of a message which are different things.

  • Can I export a Numbers table to the body of a message in Mail?

    Here's what I'd like to do. I want to create some simple lists in Numbers or Pages in the form of a table. I would then like to import that into the message body of a message in Mail. I've tried to cut and paste, but that just ends up with a jarbled mess. Any gurus out there know how to import iWork content into a Mail message? Thanks!
    Dan

    I selected this area in Numbers (two two left tables) and paste into a new Mail Message:
    I believe the image that was automatically pasted is a PDF file. Note that the tables were selected, not the data within the tables.

  • In vsn 6.0.2 how can I paste a link into the body of a Yahoo e-mail and have the pasted result appear as a link?

    o/s Windows XP Home
    vsn of Firefox 6.0.2
    Step 1) open firefox
    Step 2) copy link from address bar into clipboard
    Step 3) compose message in Yahoo
    Step 4) paste contents of clipboard into body of the e-mail
    result: the pasted value does NOT become a hyperlink
    <on same pc, with same contents in clipboard>
    Step 5) open IE
    Step 6) compose message in Yahoo
    Step 7) paste contents of clipboard into body of the e-mail
    result: the pasted value becomes a hyperlink ... the fact that the link becomes a hyperlink in the IE browser makes me think that there may be something in the Firefox browser that is controlling whether the pasted value becomes a link.
    I'm not sure, but I believe the update to firefox 6.0.2 was with the past few days.
    I'm not sure, but I do not believe the symptoms from steps 1 - 4 were present a few days ago
    Questions:
    1) could this feature have been introduced in 6.0.2?
    2) I would prefer it if the pasted value would become a
    hyperlink when working in firefox; what steps do I need to take to make this happen?
    Thank you

    Now Tony, I know you can't hear my tone on a forum post but I was not complaining, simply stating facts . This change brought several people in my office to a grinding halt in a long established workflow that is really rather simple (and I thought was already assumed from the original post above ):
    1) Select a set of records in FileMaker Pro 12 and export only their e-mail addresses as a CSV file.
    2) Open that CSV file in Excel.
    3) Copy the column of e-mail address.
    4) paste into the appropriate recipient field in Mail.
    5) Send
    If I were to complain it would be about Apple's typically opaque approach to updates. There is no granular explanation of why changes were made or even "what" changes were made.
    Complaining is futile since Apple is Apple and is unlikely to change, but sometimes it is cathartic to "shout into the void" .
    I had thought about doing something with a formula in Excel and your suggestion was simple and helpful. Again, however, it is only a workaround for a long established helpful behavior that Apple has inexplicably broken/removed in Mavericks Mail.
    I, and the other posters here, would love to have the capability back rather than have to add previously unneeded steps to our workflows.
    Ultimately we may add scripting steps to the FileMaker side to export the address lists with commas inserted already if Apple ends up having permanently removed this feature.

    Hi maryin,
    I have attached your recent EE Invoice.
    Generally speaking it looks reasonable. There is £38.37 out of bundle spend mainly due to calling non-geographic calls by several users.
    One point to note is that 07931374236 called directory enquiries for 3-mins that cost £8.33, This is expensive. You could really do with requesting that users look up telephone numbers using yell.com or google. They have the data allowance necessary to do so and it costs Shuffs nothing additional.
    Please contact me if you require any further details.
    Regards
    Andy Heames

    The information is not an error.
    Your current setup allows Full headers to be displayed and not the brief version. So as a result it uses what is selected to be displayed.
    You can quickly change this:
    View > Headers > select 'Normal'
    Then all in coming will not display full headers and therefore when you reply or forward, it will not include full headers.
