Cold Weather Temperatures for Mac Pro Book

Question

Hi I have meeting tomorrow, near the mountains, I wanted to take my mac Book Pro and keep it locked in the car for 3 to 4 hours while I ski.....before the meeting.
The temperature should be around 20 degrees farenheit,
is this too cold? Or should I bring it into the lodge and place it in a locker?

Straight from the specs page on Apple's site:
+*# Operating temperature: 50° to 95° F (10° to 35° C)*+
+*# Storage temperature: -13° to 113° F (-24° to 45° C)*+
You should be fine so far as storage goes... but you'll want to let it warm up a bit when you bring it in before you use it. I would agree with Doug however... unless you don't feel comfortable with the security of the lockers. Notebooks are fairly delicate devices and exposing them to extremes in temperatures is probably not a great idea. So long as you don't do it that often, you'll probably be fine. Humidity is another issue. Generally... when it's cold out, inside humidity is fairly low. However... as you mentioned you will be in the mountains... there are lots of places where you can go into the mountains to ski during the day... and come back to moderate temps in the afternoon. In those cases, the warmer location may be more humid. In that case, your notebook can act the same way a glass of ice water does and get condensation build up.
