Only Apple knows. Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. The worst is that they say no.

I just purchased my Macbook Pro retina display OS X 10.7.4 in June 2012. Shortly after I began using it, it began randomly restarting itself while in use. Why and how do I fix this?

So as I said in the title, I purchased my new Macbook Pro retina display OS X 10.7.4 in June 2012 and recieved in early July. Shortly after I started using the laptop, it began randomly restarting itself. It does this about once a week while I am just using the laptop for normal internet browsing. I haven't downloaded any outside software that the system could be rejecting and it is fully charged. Any ideas on why this is happening or how to fix it?
Also this is a total random question, but there is a residue on my laptop that is faint but randomly shows up. I'm almost positive that it is nothing on my hands or where I place the laptop. I wasn't sure if it was something possibly coming from the side vents. Thanks for the help!

Exactly what Shootist007 states - take it in for service or replacement - could be a simple software issue or it could be a hardware issue...
Don't even bother messing with it.....Might screw up even more.....
Make sure your files are backed up in case they give you a replacement....

Did you tap "Show older backups" on the Choose Backup screen (see image below)?

I didn't back up, but I did sync. The only thing that is coming up to restore my new phone to is from June 2012 though. Is there anything I can do to get my most recent stuff?

I haven't backed my phone up since June 2012, but my phone syncs for a few seconds whenever I would plug it into my computer. However, I have not manually synced it in a very long time. Is there any way to restore my new phone to what was synced the last time I plugged my phone into my computer (apps, music, contacts, pictures, messages, etc.)? Or is that something completely different. The guy at the Verizon store said I could, but the only options I'm getting for restoring the phone are from last year and before. All of the solutions I found on here are not working, and my old phone was stolen, so I can't back it up again. Any information will help! Thank you!

The info that was on the old iPhone can only be retreived either by restoring from iCloud/iTunes back up or syncing from iCloud. You need to chek these places and if nothing is there then I'm sorry that data is gone and you will only have the back ups you see.
But check iTunes back ups:

Mac
iTunes>Preferences>devices

After I tried to install Mavericks on my Macbook Air, June 2012 the the drive began to fail, with the appearance at more and more frequent intervals of the spinning beach ball, I had to restart even after I wiped the drive and reinstalled Mountain Lion

After I installed Mavericks I could no longer shut my Macbook Air (mid July 2012) down, except by force quit,I was using an Apple Tv screen and Apple wireless keyboard. Backup your data as soon as you can.
MacBook Air computers sold between June 2012 through June 2013 are known to have a high SSD failure rate and Apple is replacing them for free.

If you have no photos:
Hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library' and start.

Can we develop a solution in Visual Studio 2012 and still deploy it on BizTalk 2010? or Is it that solutions developed in VS 2012 have to be deployed only to BizTalk 2013?

BizTalk 2010 projects are not compatible with Visual Studio 2012. To use Visual Studio 2012 with BizTalk 2010 projects, you must install
BizTalk 2013 on the computer that has Visual Studio 2012. The first time you open a BizTalk 2010 project, it is automatically upgraded to the BizTalk 2013/Visual Studio 2012 project system

Your warranty is only good in the US where you bought the phone. You will need to contact Apple Support in the US to arrange to return your phone to the US for repair. You should also inquire as to whether they will be able to return the phone to you in India.

ColdFusion Developer version and web services

Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a known issue about Web Services
not running on
ColdFusion developer version?
I have been testing the most simple web services on 3
different live servers
and 3 different localhost servers with the same files and got
successful
results on all the live servers, but the same errors on all
the local
servers running on ColdFusion latest developer version. All 6
servers are
running on IIS either on Windows XP or 2000. Below is the
error I get when

If your developer edition is on your own machine you might be
having proxy server issues.
Find out what your proxy server is and enter it using the
proxyserver="" attribute in cfinvoke

"Your system display driver has caused Photoshop to Crash" MacBookPro June 2012 MacOS 10.7.4 Photosh

I am getting this error message when I launch Photoshop -- I just started getting it yesterday, August 28, 2012, when I tried to open a .tif image. Photoshop crashed. What has changed? I don't remember doing any updates to OS or to Photoshop. I am using Photoshop 12.0.4 x64 I've had the new MacBookPro June 2012 laptop for about a month, and Photoshop CS5 has been working fine. Now I'm getting this error message.
What can I do?

It's entirely possible for the display driver file to get corrupted, though it's not common.
If you have Applejack, run it now. If you don't know what that is, skip this suggestion for now.
If you have Disk Warrior, or Cocktail or Onyx, run them now.
You might try booting off the install DVD and running Repair Disk with Apple's Disk Utility from there.
If it is indeed a corrupted kext file (the driver), then you can try running the 10.7.4 Combo Update over your existing OS install of that same version. That gives you fresh files as needed.
If none of that works, then you are looking at having to do an Archive and Install of the OS from the DVD, which will put you at 10.7.0, so you'd have to run the 10.7.4 Combo Update again to get you to where you are now (OS version wise).
