Coldfusion MX7 Entreprise and Red Hat Enterprise 5

I have read that Coldfusion Mx 7 Entreprise is compatible
with Red Hat Enterprise 2, 3 and 4 but I don't know if it is
compatible with Red Hat Enterprise 5.
If someone knows and if someone has an example.

What manuals are you looking at?
The [SRSS 4.2 product documentation|http://wikis.sun.com/display/SRSS4dot2/SRSS+Troubleshooting+Icons] documents icon 44 as: "The server is not authenticated, the client is authenticated, and the graphic/keyboard network connections are not encrypted"
It should probably indicate more clearly that this is one of a family of icons that indicate the state of a working network connection.
So judging by this icon everything seems to be OK. The icon should go away on its own soon. If it stays up, there appears to be a problem, but probably not on the DTU or network side.
Is there anything suspicious in the server status or logs?

  • ColdFusion 10 install fails on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.8

I'm trying to install ColdFusion 10 on a Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.8 server with Apache 2.2.3. The install appears to complete with no errors. After some searching the web, I found I had to change the adobe connector shell script to use my directories instead of the bogus ones that were there. The httpd reports that the mod_jk is loaded (apachectl -M returns jk_module (shared) among other things). However, when I attempt to load a ColdFusion page, my web server says "503 Service Temporarily Unavailable". I've look in the log files for httpd and for ColdFusion and see nothing amiss, but I am new to this ColdFusion.
It appears my Apache httpd is not communicating with the ColdFusion process, which is listening on ports:
    TCP *:8012
    TCP localhost.localdomain:8007
    TCP *:7995
    TCP *:6085
    TCP *:8575
    TCP *:1243
    Any suggestions?

  • Red Hat (Enterprise Linux) and Hewlett Packard

    Dear HP,
You folks seem to have made a real effort to get your printer drivers out there to all. I applaud you. Enlightened self-interest.
    It is now 2014.
You offer me drivers for my new Color Laserjet printer.  Red Hat offers me drivers for HP printers. The two files are incompatible. You guys are huge in printers and Red Hat is huge in Linux.  When poor schleps like me are drop $300 on a new printer and I can't get it running, I get pissed at both companies. Fairly or unfairly.
Maybe someone at HP, preferably with a RHEL 6 computer OS, could fix this situation. If this is squarely in Red Hat's camp, then send them some hate mail.
I had hoped we were past the era when you needed to look at your computer to see which printer it supports and then go out printer shopping.

    Hi,
RHEL 4 is not supported by AIR runtime. OpenSuse 11.1, Ubuntu 9.04 and Fedora Core 11 are the supported distributions for AIR 2.0.
That said, AIR 2.0 should work fine on RHEL 5.
You can download the AIR 2.0 Beta runtime From http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/air2/

  • T430s + BIOS 2.02: Red Hat Enterprise Desktop 6.3 display problem

    Hi,
Today I updated the BIOS on my T430s to 2.02 using the g7uj04uc.iso boot CD image from Lenovo's support site. After that the Red Hat Enterprise Linux Workstation 6.3 display is screwed up. It's shifted to the right and shows psychodelic false colours. With BIOS 1.11 everything (except the Panasonic battery issue) worked fine.
Anyone else who has this problem and found a solution? I didn't find something with Google yet.
    Best regards,
    Bernd
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Today I updated to Lenovo T430s BIOS 2.05. Issue persists. False colours and shifted to the right, even after applying the latest RHEL 6.3 workstation patches.
With UEFI only boot and CSM disabled the system can't boot from the hard disk.
Now the BIOS 1.11 can no longer be installed. The installer says: "The system program file is not correct for this system". It is the same CD which I used to reinstall BIOS 1.11 after update to 2.02.
With "nomodeset" kernel option in /boot/grub/grub.conf the display is now correct, but after user logout from desktop or user switching a grey screen instead of the login manager is displayed

how do you install 10.2.0.4 and 11.2.0.3 on the same server? You can install multiple homes in a server.
Every Software dump consists of installer(runInstaller).
Even you can install same Oracle version & release in same server by differentiating Folder names.

    Thanks in advance.
Describe in sequence how to create shared storage for a two guest/node Red Hat Linux Enterprise using Oracle 2.1 VM Server on Red Hat Linux Enterprise 5 using command line or appropriate interface.
How to create Shared Storage using Oracle 2.1 VM Server?
How to configure Network for two node cluster (oracle clusterware)?

    Hi Suresh Kumar,
Oracle Application Server 10g Release 2, Patch Set 3 (10.1.2.3) is required to be fully certified on OEL 5.x or RHEL 5.x.
Oracle Application Server 10g Release 2 10.1.2.0.0 or 10.1.2.0.1 versions are not supported with Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL) 5.0 or Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5.0. It is recommended that version 10.1.2.0.2 be obtained and installed.
Which implies Oracle AS 10.1.2.x is some what certified on RHEL 5.x
I think it would be better if you get in touch with Oracle Support regarding this .
Sorry , I am not aware of any document on migration from Sun Solaris to RH Linux 5.2 .
    Thanks,

  • Patches for Installing Oracle 9i on Red Hat Enterprise LINUX 3.0 AS

I recently purchased An Oracle Database Enterprise Edition Trial License.
I am attempting to install Oracle 9i on Red Hat Enterprise Linux Advanced Server 3 (RHEL AS 3).
After several unsuccessful attempts and consultation with the FAQs available on the Oracle site I have discovered
that it can not be installed without the following patches.
    P3095277_9204_LINUX.zip
    P3238244_9204_LINUX.zip
    P2617419_210_GENERIC.zip
    P3006854_9204_LINUX.zip
    P3119415_9204_LINUX.zip
Can anyone tell me how I can aquire these patches?
This is for an eval of the product on the platform mentioned above. If I can not complete a successful install,
there is no way for my company to evaluate the product
    and eventually purchase it.

  • Do we have CSS file size constraint in PT8.52/Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.3?

    Hi All,
We are facing an issue with CSS. We able upload a css file > 16 kb of size with out any issues in the web server. But those styles are not working.
When we checked our local cache floder CSS file it is not having all styles. It looked like more than 16kb of data got truncated.
Not sure whether we have file size constraint in PT8.52/Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.3(64 bit) os.
Is there any other way to overcome this problem?
    Thanks,

This has been happening for two weeks now, and I am clueless. Any suggestion would surely be of great help.
The server is running in Production env, we cannot change from WL 8.1 SP3, however if we want, we can upgrade the JDK version

  • GPIB-ENET/100 Issues with Red Hat Enterprise Linix 3.0

Does anyone know of issues with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3.0?
Using Red Hat Linux 8.0, I am able to run EthernetConfig and identify all the GPIB-ENET/100 devices on my Ethernet.
Running EthernetConfig under Enterprise Linux does not work properly. No devices are detected.
Everything else appears to be working.
    I can ping the device.
I can also detect the device using my Windows based program NI-488.2M for Windows NT/GPIB-ENET100 Utilities/Device Configuration.

I do not know of any issues with RHEL 3.0 and the Beta 488.2 driver. I believe that you have started a support request via e-mail so I will deal with your issue there.

We need to install Red Hat Enterprise 5.2 on UCS B200 M1, but could not find the driver for Qlogic CNA M71KR-Q.
    Any pointers or suggestions?

Check out the UCS Drivers iso file on cisco.com/support.  Download the 1.02 driver ISO and in there you'll find the Qlogic, Emulex etc drivers.
On a hunch, I checked the older 1.01e ISO and that only had drivers for RHEL4.8 and RHEL5.3.
You might need to use RHEL5.3
