Coll. Suite 10.1.2.2 Installer program cannot start
Hi all,
I have downloaded Oracle Colalboration Suite 10.1.2.2 from:
http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/cs/htdocs/1012winsoft.html.
I start the installer (setup.exe) but it quits with the error which is displayed in the command shell window which is automatically opened:

After a message box is displayed:

Looks like you have a environment problem. The temporary directory:
C:\WINNTTemp\...
Must be C:\WINNT\Temp\...
Review your environment variables in
System properties -> Advanced -> Environment variables -> TMP and TEMP directory

I recommend removing and reinstalling iTunes using these steps:
Check for .dll files
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
Reboot your computer.
Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.

Oop I finally found the answer myself from the onOneSoftware.com website in the support area. the answer is :

This error can occur if there are older plugins lingering in your plugins folder of Photoshop after installing Suite 8 and trying to launch Photoshop. To correct the error go to your: [Local Disk (C:)]\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CSx 64bit\Plugins:Delete
PS: I only deleted the old obsolete OnOne plugins,and left their newer plugins, That worked and now Elements 10 is working just fine -

I have the same problem and in following the Apple recommended procedures of unistalling Apple iTumes and related programs I am not able to unistall"Apple Mobile Device Support" as recommended. It is recommended that I delete all related files before installation! How do I proceed?

Alauda_positos I would recommend reviewing your installation log files to determine the exact directory which the installer is unable to access. I have a (legally purchased) disc with InDesign CS6 that I want to install on a PC with Windows 8.1 (64-bit). After I've double-clicked the Set-up.exe file on the disc, a box is displayed showing the progress of the initialization of the installation program. When the coloured bar in the box is full – indicating that this step is completed – the installation stops and nothing more happens. No error messages are displayed.
I can't find any useful instructions in the Adobe Help pages more than a note that there is support for also Windows 8.1 even though the system requirements printed on the disc box only lists Windows XP and Windows 7. I have a hp C410 all-in-one series printer. When I updated to 10.8.1 it was no longer supported. HP told me to go to the Apple system updates and download an installation program update. I can't find that program in my Apple updates file. Please help.

Reset the printing system:
- Go to System Preferences > Print & Scan
- Right (or control) click in the rectangle listing your printers and select Reset Printing System.
WARNING - this will delete ALL of your printers!
- Select the plus sign to re-add a printer. Select the Defualt tab on the top of the window. Look for the printer, select it and wait until the "Add" button becomes available. Click it."

I want to do a clean install of Windows 7 Pro on my computer and my installation of Adobe Design Premium CS3 is not functioning. I cannot start it to get in and deactivate the Creative Suite installation.if you're using the same computer hardware to reinstall your cs3, you don't need to deactivate first.

i was going to upgrade from 10.6.8 to mavericks 10.9.2, but the installer program notified me stating my appleworks 6 app will not run on the new set up. is there a procedure to keep or switch my documents in order to obtain the mavericks upgrade?

I suggest that you clone your current drive with 10.6.8 to an external drive. If you have any issues after upgrading to Mavericks, you can boot back into 10.6.8.

I had a hard disc failure and had to reload Design suite 6 from disc. The program is now telling me I have 7 days to register the product or it will quit working. The serial number is already registered. It won't connect to the adobe site from the popup screen that comes up telling me I only have 7 days to register. What do I do?
Go to the Help menu in Photoshop and choose Activate. It should open a wizard allowing you to do this.
If that fails, Contact Customer Care after clicking on one of the activation links. The more information you give them, the easier it will be for them to help you.

Acrobat 8 standard installation program rejects my serial number, says it's "invalid"
I have a genuine product of Acrobat 8 Standard, and when I put the serial number in the installation program, I get rejected. The program says my s.n. is invalid.
How do I solve this?Was your AA8 an upgrade? If so, the S/N requested may have been for the prior version, not 8. You have to provide both the old and new S/Ns for an upgrade. For Win7 you will need to do the updates. For Win8, you may have to purchase the new version.

My requirement is to capture both start and finish dates for an installation program. Will likely require 2 new fields at order line item level.
I was thinking about using USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP. But where do I find the install information to move it to these new fields?

As mentioned by Ming, these dates are not supposed to prevent FI postings by SAP standard. However, you can create a validation in CO (OKC7) by putting as prerequisites your dates from PRPS structure and blocking the posting accordingly.

The FC disks are "viewed" by the system as external to the SCSI controller, almost as if they were in a multi-pack.
They are FC drives addressed by the chipset as SCSI disks.

Older releases that might be fine for V480's won't work on V490's.

How to play swf files in quicktime
