Collaborate invite to alternate email

We're trying to get collaborative libraries working among our team, but are running into an invitation issue: Our Adobe IDs are not the same as our work emails and we don't have access to the emails used as Adobe IDs (that's the way IT set us up). Thus any invite sent to a work email doesn't work as that email isn't an Adobe ID. I've tried adding work email as the alternate email in the Adobe ID profile but that didn't help. So we can't receive invites to the Adobe ID email, and invites to our work email, while received, fail to connect because they're not Adobe ID emails. One of those vicious cycle things. Any suggestions on working around this issue, besides setting up second Adobe IDs with our work emails, which then won't be the same as the IDs attached to our CC programs?

Found the answer.
