Collaboration Services: How does specify a specific language to use?

Does anyone know how to administer the Leopard server in English, but have the collaboration services (wiki, blog, calendar, etc) run under another language, perhaps even specific to the User and/or Group?

I just stumbled upon the solution.
Checking the collaborative services pages (wiki, blog, etc.) on an English system will show the pages in English. If you use a computer with another system language, that the pages render according to the primary system language. So if you're using a Japanese system, Safari will bring up the collaborative services in Japanese.

How does one transfer CS5 actions for use with CS6?

CS6 installation, which was uneventful, has transferred none of my actions from my copy of CS5. The CS5 actions are located in the actions folder of the APPLICATION/PHOTOSHOP CS5/PRESETS/ACTIONS. The "actions" folder in application support/adobe in my library is empty, and has always been so.
Only the CS6 default actions are located in the same folder for CS6.
I use imac i7, lion.
Note that i also have CS3 and CS4 on my machine. This due to recent upgrade to CS5 and recent upgrade to LION, and my general paranoia.
Must i load each action into CS6, one at a time?

On a Mac - There are multiple ways to do this. I have done them both ways. In order to do this you need to know where you have your actions stored, and you can move them all at once if you have them stored in the same location.
1. You can load an action ONE AT TIME into your actions palette by:
     A. Open up the action palette and click on the little arrow with 4 little horizontal lines next to it on the upper right corner of the actions palette.
     B. Select "Load Actions" and a Finder window will open up and you can search your computer through this window for your actions.
     C. Click on the action from the Finder window then click 'Open' at the bottom right of the finder window.
     D. To save these so that they appear every time you open up your actions palette, go back to the little arrow at the top right of the actions palette and when the drop down window opens- click on 'Save Actions'. It will select the location where the          actions are currently stored as the place to save them. If you want to change that path, you can do it at this time in the little path window. I just leave it, since I keep all my actions stored in the same file.
2. TO MOVE MULTIPLE ACTION SETS AT ONCE
     A. Open up CS6 (or CS5) and move the Photoshop workspace it to the right side of your computer screen so you can see your desktop on the left side.
     B. Open up your Finder search window from your dock (the square blue head icon thingy for those who are new to photoshop). Move this to the left side of your screen so you can see the Photoshop work space on the right and the Finder window          on the left. In the Finder window, navigate to the file where all your actions are stored, select all the actions in the file (command+A will select everything in the file if you are actively inside the open file) or you can select multiple files           individually by continuously holding down the command key and clicking on the different actions you want to move.
     C. With the Photoshop workspace visible on the right, and the actions palette open so you can see that the actions actually transferred - In the Finder window, click the selected actions you want to load and drag them over to the Photoshop           workspace. I did this without an image open, I just dragged them onto the empty workspace. The actions should all appear immediately in the actions palette that is open.
     D. To save these so that they appear every time you open up your actions palette, go back to the little arrow at the top right of the actions palette and when the drop down window opens click on 'Save Actions'. It will select the location where the           actions are stored as the place to save them. If you want to change that path, you can do it at this time in the little path window. I just leave it, since I keep all my actions stored in the same file.

1. In positive time management we record the actual time of the employee working in organization and following are the infotypes we need to maintain in master data,
          1. Organztion Assignement [0001]
          2. Personal Data [0002]
          3. Absence Quota [2006]
          4. Planed working time [0007] with the time management status " if you are using PDC then "2" " Or "1. Time evaluation actual time".
          5. Time Recording Info [0050]
2. In Negative time management we are only recording the time deviation like "Absence, Illness, Leave" and following are the Infotype we need to maintain in master data,
         0001, 0002,0007 with time management status "0" i.e No time evaluation and 2006.

How to Specify Metadata When Adding Content Using iTunes U Web Service?

I've been developing Java applications using iTunes U Web service and uploaded content to iTunes U site using iTunes U Web service without problem. Now I want to add metadata fields (name, artist name, album name, etc.) for the tracks I uploaded. It seems to me that "AddTrack" will do. So I tested it but it neither adds a track under the specified group nor updates metadata fields for an existing track. It turned out "MergeTrack" actually updates metadata fields for an existing track. So is there any way to specify metadata at the time of adding content using iTunes U Web service? And what exactly does AddTrack do? This is all about contents hosted by iTunes U site and no RSS is involved.

Thanks for all the replies. My question is whether there is any way to specify metadata WHEN adding content using iTunes U Web service. Specifying metadata AFTER adding content can be achieved by MergeTrack (weird naming) and it does work.
As for setting track level meta-data in the media file and then upload it, there're several reasons against that, among which are:
1. Some track metadata are context-dependent. A video about buildings on Michigan Ave in Chicago can be track #2 in a history course and described as "historic view of the Magnificent Mile", but the same media can also be track #5 in a landscape design course and described as something like "contemporary architecture". Setting these metadata in the media file itself is not the preferred way to do it since it implies maintaining a version of the same media for any course/group it gets uploaded to.
2. Setting metadata in a location separate from the media file helps track the metadata change and search for media without digging into the media itself.
3. If MergeTrack "updates" metadata, there got to be some other method that "creates" metadata - that's what a well-designed API should look like. And setting metadata in the media file is not an equivalent to a "create metadata" method call. In rickwolf's term, that implicit AddTrack should actually be made explicit so the party uploading content can explicitly specify metadata instead of having iTunes U extract metadata from the media.
It is still not clear what "AddTrack" does exactly, maybe rickwolf is right - it's only relevant to tracks created through RSS.
So it seems to me there is no other way to specify metadata WHEN adding content using iTunes U Web service than setting metadata in the media file. To me it is more like a design flaw.

How does upgrade for aperture work if use the trial to download?

I have a new macbook pro. I have installed my Aperture 2.X on it. Can I download the trial and when I purchase get the "upgrade" price? If so, how does that work. Do I type in my 2.x serial number at some point?
Or, if I purchase the Aperture disk, how does the upgrade work then?

In either case, with AP 2.x installed, the AP 3 upgrade installer should see that and only require entry of the upgrade serial number.
If doing a clean install with AP 2 not installed, you enter the AP 3 upgrade serial number and will get a second serial number field pop-up asking for a full version serial number (you would enter the AP 2 serial number at this point).
Assuming nothing is amiss with your system, that should do it.

Yes you still need to use your finger to do all of the things that you need to use it for even if you use a wireless keyboard. You are merely adding a larger more robust keyboard to the device. You are not replacing the touch gestures features with the use of an external keyboard.

I'm sorry but I don't have an answer for you... But I do have a couple of questions that may help others to help you! Was it necessary for you to get a new sim? I'm guessing yes or you would not have done that. You might want to try calling Orange and asking them to unlock it, they might ask you to connect it to your PC and use ITunes with it. Tunes will then say Congrats! Your IPhone Is UNLOCKED! I did this in the US with an OLD iPhone 3 first they asked me a serial number and other info and it worked like a charm. But the thing is Orange [or Apple] must be satisfied that the phone's contract obligations have been fulfilled. I know this is complicated and a pain in the butt, but if it's a dead phone now I would give it a shot. Oh BTW I believe here in the US it's no longer against the law to unlock a phone, apparently the law was changed, not sure about this though... Good luck!

Time Machine will backup everything by default, on every disk in your Mac.
Choose System Preferences > Options to exclude items. You could exclude everything except your OS...but I'd think it is your data that's more important to you, if you have to make choices.

While it's true you can store almost 8TB, how much do you think you'll actually store? If you have 1TB of data you want to store then a 2TB drive can do it. Also when your TM drive begins to get full it will begin deleting the oldest backups to make room.

How does one select the language of a piece of text in Pages 5

I often work with multipel language in one document. In the pre version 5 Pages one could select the text and go in inspector and change the language. Not very handy, MS Word is always been much better at this. Even WordPerfect 1.0 was better. But in version 5 I can't find this function.

If you live in the world outside the USA, you will find that there are a lot of different language. If like me, and this is the case for a lot of people in Europe you have to make document in several languages Pages 4 was already a user un-friendly program. The detection you manhunt will not work:
If you take languages that are of the same family like Flemish/Dutch, English, German, enz… a lot of the words are similar but differ non the less.
Languages tends to take on words from other languages, in the past a lot of French has gotten into English. Flemish/Dutch has taken on a lot of English words in the last several decennia.
Hens Pages 5 has become a wast of HD space. There is something very wrong @ Apple.
