Collaborators in SAP Sourcing 10.0 must not view RFx responses unless assigned as scoreres

Dear SAP Sourcing Specialists,
We are implementing SAP Sourcing 10.0 We assign collaborators on an RFx as
with the collaborator approver role before it is published, and these collaborators
review, edit and approve the RFx and then it is published to suppliers. After responses are received from suppliers and RFx is now in
Closed for Responses phase, we do not want these original collaborators to view the RFx responses unless they are assigned as scorers.
How do we achieve this? We tried to re-assign the Review collaborator role to these collaborators but they can still view RFx
responses.
Steps to reproduce the issue:
1.Create an RFx in SAP Sourcing 10
2. Assign collaborators with approval role
3. Collaborators approve RFx
4. Move RFx to Open for Responses
5. Suppliers respond to RFx
6. Rfx closes. RFx becomes "Closed for Responses"
7. Log in as one of the collaborators
8. We do not want the collaborator to view RFx responses unless assigned as a
scorerer

Why don't just use standard functionality in Page Customisations?
You can Hide/Unhide a Tab with Dimension Field <%USER_GROUP%> and Group Reference.
It's a clean, standard way and guaranteed to work and not break anything.

Hi,
It's hard to tell without looking at the screen. Here are a few generic things to check though:
1. The supplier contact invited on the RFx is setup on the Supplier portal with appropirate security to be able to view and respond to the RFx.
2. In the Schedule tab, check for the start and end times (due date).
3. When you change the phase to Open for response, check the log file to see if any error messages were generated.

I try to use a MULTILINE interface in an integration process, but when I try to select the multiline interface in the sending Step (asynch), then I can´t select a INDEX variable? ...

I tried my steps with a XI3.0 in exactly the same way and it works. Is this a bug in the PI? We have Service Package 04 (initial Shipment).
Does anyone has an idea?

I tested it on a PI 7.1 SP 8 and there it works.
What you could try is to export your Integration Process from XI 3.0 (you said it's working) and import it in your PI 7.1.

How do you hide RFx responses on SAP Sourcing 10.0?

Hi gurus,
I'm new on SAP Sourcing 10.0. I want to know where can I go to write a script that will enable me to hide RFx responses. I want to write a script that will hide the RFx Responses tab so that all collaborators assigned to the RFx will not see the RFx responses unless they are assigned to scoring.

Hii.
You can not copy the standard datasource to any other source system it will not allow you to do that.
But if you want to copy you can copy it to PC FILE source system.
It will allow you to copy there.
Right click in Datasource->Copy-> Give Target datasource name -
> intarget Source system tab -
>Give Source system for File.

System Type ERP not available while creating Buisness System For ECC in SAP Sourcing 9.0

I need to import Master data in SAP Sourcing but when i am uploading master data i am getting this errror
Business system ECQCLNT340 does not match with local SAP Sourcing System ID SOURCING.
i have followed the steps in config guide of SAP ERP with SAP Sourcing.
when i am creating business system in SAP Sourcing system type ERP is not available.
i have also attached the error file, please check

this issue has been resolved and i have completed the installation part of SAP Sourcing and Contract generation.
Now , I am getting error while uploading clause document, my functional team member are not able to upload clause document. kindly suggest.

Login with buyer link into the system-> it has all authorizations
then Goto -> Contract Management -> Clause Library -> Clause list -> Click on New button -> Click on Add button -> Browse Document
it is showing POPUP with Error that "There is a problem with the Contract Generation web service Contact your system administrator"

Error: The sap bw system must not be operated in client 000

Hi
I login as a client "200" and create new user "imran" and then login as a client 200 and user imran successfully but when I goto T.code RSOR it shows "the sap bw system must not be operated in client 000" when I check the status it shows client 200 and user imran.
so what is the solution??

Yes I create new client "200" in a sap* then I login as a client "200" user "sap*" and password "pass" then create new user "imran" using copy DDIC then login as client 200 and user imran but result is same.

Be more specific on the problem you are facing so that the ppl here can help..
looks like your are trying to file to file scenario and the file is not generating at the target folder ...
then check the communication logs of the receiver adapter using RWB->CC logs..
post the error you have received there..

Error: Expression must not return a multiline value

Hi all,
I am doing a file to file scenario. My input file has more than one record. I have to validate for each of these records and send back the erroneous records in a file to the source folder.
I am using BPM for this. In my BPM, i have some multiline container elements. When i try to activate my BPM, i am getting an error saying: <b>Expression must not return a multiline value.</b>
Can anybody tell me why this error is coming? Also i want to know what type of mapping i have to do to split my source file.

Error when activate a SAP source system

Hello Experts,
I have an issue when I try to create a new SAP source system but I cannot complete this operation because a Timeout error occurs when the system made the destiny verification, the source system can be created but not activated, I already create the RFC connection and they are OK, I add the new logical system of the source system in the configuration (SBIW) in the general settings,and the data source tree is show succesfully and sems to work OK and the data sources seems to be OK too.
In the RSA1 transaction, go to source systems tree, choose the SAP source system called: "conexion a dev 200" -> right click and choose activate and the error occurs.
I have a Myself source system already created and activated, I cannot find the source of the problems thata cause the timeout error in the new source system.

Yes, I try ti use the create automatically option first but it doesn't work, because says that we system already exists because here exist a myself source system with an RFC to R/# ( I don't know why), so I must use the manually creation option, I put the logical system, and all the requeriments of the screem. The system create the source system but when I try ti activate it, it is impossible to do it....!

Error when creating SAP source-system in RSA1

we have a new bi-installation. the bi-system is running in the SAME system as our erp 2005-system is running.
the bi-client is 700, our source-system (FI/CO) client is 101. I want to create a source-system in RSA1. at the end i get the following error message:
<b>Name D01MAND700 of client 700 is not the same as the name D01MAND101 of the Warehouse
Message no. R3225
Diagnosis
In order to guarantee error-free communication between the source system and the SAP Business Information Warehouse, the logical system names must be known to both.
The system has established that the selected source system name D01MAND101 in the SAP Business Information Warehouse is not the same as the logical system name D01MAND700.
System Response
Processing has been terminated and all changes undone.
Procedure
Create the source system under the name D01MAND700 in the SAP Business Information Warehouse or change the logical system name for client 700 to D01MAND101 in the ALE customizing screen of the source system.
Note that the logical system name for client 700 may already be being used for other ALE scenarios. If this is the case you are not able to change the name.</b>
i don't understand this error ? is it because the BI-system and the erp-system is the SAME system ?

I try to generate a pdf document with name and surname in web dynpro.
I have this context
Pdf
     - Name       (string)
     - Surname (string)
     - pdfSource (Binary)
I set this options in the properties of InteractiveForm:
dataSource : Pdf
displayType: activeX
mode         : updateDataInPdf
pdfSource   : Pdf.pdfSource
In the implementation tab I add the following code lines (Add the source code to the wdDoInit method):
wdContext.currentPdfElement().setSurname("xxxxxxx");
    wdContext.currentPdfElement().setName("xxxxxxx");
But when I deploy my applications I have this error:

We created a new value node in the context for our data source and set the cardinality to 0..N. We know that we need to initialize and bind this but don't know how so we're getting the erro "bound data node Node must not be empty" when we run the form.

I have implemented a WDP JAVA app where I used removeSelectedElements() to remove the selected items, but in some times its throwing an error like com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.context.ContextException: Node

its really panic to identify that particular scenario still am trying to identify, please let me know if anybody having any alter for this.

Hi Rajesh,
In case of table filter there should be three nodes,
1st: source node(The container for actual data it may be model node, component controllers node or a node present in the view itself but mapped with a component controller node),
2nd: filter node: which will be having the attributes of type string some time other types but generally strings and the number of the attributes and name of the attributes will be similar to number of columns in table and name of those columns. * This should not be modified at runtime at any cost *, and i think somehow you are manipulating these attributes and you are getting the error.
3rd: the table source node: which will have the manipulated data from source node. Lets take it this way you get the data from source node filtered it (selected the data which should be visible) and put the filtered data in table source node and binded this node with the table to make these filter data visible over there.
In general case the source node and filter node should not be manipulated or modifies failing this will cause the errors like what you are getting. Please provide more details if you have any further questions or query.

I'm developing a Portal Component over NW EP 2004s (7.0) which access to SQL Server database. I have created three tables on the system db (EPD). Connection is Ok, over datasource object, but i can't make a SELECT operation to my new tables.
Hovewer, making a SELECT operation over older system tables is OK.
I have adjusted permissions on my new tables, similar to the older tables. The table's owner is the same too.
