Collect colors into a palette?

hi
can CS4 collect all colors used in a particular .css and let
me
modify them like global colors in AI?
as opposed to doing a bunch of tedious search and replaces.

  • Collect message into internal table

    Hi,
    does any one knows how BAPIs or CALL TRANSACTIONs collect messages into internal table.
    My problem is that some BI with CALL TRANSACTION doesn't collect right message into return table and I would like to collect this last message after CALL TRANSACTION and therefore be sure that everything went OK.....

  • Modify a color into Pantone with JS

    Hi.
    I'm working on a application in Javascript. My claim is to manage the colors in my document. So, for example, I have to change some specific colors in "spot" or "process" model.
    if (value==1){
    app.activeDocument.colors.item(7).model=ColorModel.spot
    It works!
    My question is this: how can I say "app.activeDocument.colors.item(7)" have to be the "PANTONE 200 C"?
    I tried to use "importAdobeSwatchbookSpotColor" like this:
    app.activeDocument.importAdobeSwatchbookSpotColor("PANTONE 200 C")
    but it's useful just to add new Pantone colors, while I don't know how to change an existing color into a specific Pantone
    Thank you very much
    Enzo

    Thank you. I use Pantone Color because a lot of publications that I manage are in 2 colors: usually black and a specific Pantone defined by the client. It's faster (and more precise) to link the Pantone colors by my javascript application instead to find the CMYK values before. My application has a pop-up where you insert the Pantone code, after that it exports a pdf file with the selected color, creating before aliases on the Pantone if there are other colors different by the black.
    Anyway, the Dave's suggestion works.
    Thank you very much
    Enzo

  • How Can I Apply Color into my Datagrif

    I Have a Datagrid and the data provider is from database. the
    format is :
    [No] [JobID] [TargetTime]
    How can i apply a color into Datagrid if the TargetTime is
    Overdue, can you help me.

    May I suggest:  Layer - New Adjustment Layer - Black & White, then use the Tint facility.
    Personally, I often find it more handy (and providing more control) to use a Curves adjustment layer above all the others.  Grab the curves of individual color channels and pull them this way and that to alter the color of what's underneath.  It's not hard to keep whites white, blacks black, and give the stuff in between believable coloration.

  • I am having difficulty installing Pantone Plus Series colors into InDesign CC 2014.

    I cannot figure out how to install PANTONE Plus Series Solid Coated 336 New Colors into InDesign CC 2014. I have installed the PANTONE color manager on my hard drive. Now what?

    There was a thread on this recently....
    You have to install one of the v2 fanbooks as the 336 supplement is now obsolete. Select the book you want, then from the file menu export to the programs of your choice.

    Just one thing to add:  Assuming your computer is up to it, do your master work at a higher pixel count than you will need in your final product  (e.g., 200% or 400%).

  • FW8 - turn background color into gradient?

    Is there any way to turn the background color into a
    gradient. Right now
    I'm making a box the size of the canvas and coloring it with
    a gradient and
    then sending it to the back. I thought in the older version
    of fw there was
    a "more options" selection when selecting a background color.
    TIA for your
    help

    Hi Peter:
    Thanks for the response. I just went into one of my old
    versions and it
    appears I was remembering something that was never there.
    That would be a
    nice feature if they could do it. Thanks again.

  • How use eyedropper on one document then put color into 2nd document's swatch?

    How can you use eyedropper on one document then put color into 2nd document's swatch?
    Thanks for any advice.

  • INDD CC: How to load Pantone libraries into swatch palette?

    I see the Pantone libraries in the INDD application folder -- how can I load them into the swatch palette?
    thnx

    Then I can create an ASE file and load into any doc.
    You might want to be careful about that, any spot colors that are in the document's Swatches panel are added as an individual ink. In CC2014 you would no longer be able to turn on overprint preview and there would be issues with exporting and outputting unless you turn on All Spots to Process in Ink Manager. The better approach would be to use the chart documents as a "palette" and drag and drop the desired color(s) from the chart into your working document.

  • Bringing very complicated Illustrator files with spot color into ID?

    I'm putting together the files for printing the first collection of my current comic book. Normally I'd just output 300dpi TIFFs, but I'm using a spot color overlay in this project.
    Does anyone know the best way to get this into InDesign with the spot color intact?
    These are SUPER COMPLICATED files, and experience has taught me that just saving a PDF to drop into InDesign results in a note from the printer that the file refused to print. I also can't do tricks involving moving it into Photoshop and selecting one particular color to put onto a new channel, as there's a lot of overprinting going on.

    I think maybe you should check with other printers, as well.

  • Adding colors to swatches palette

    I have found the unnamed colrs which are in the indesign documentt but i i can't able to add the unnamed colors to the swatches pallete.. is there any option to add the unnamed colrs to the swatche palette using javascript? Kindly Reply me

    I'll try again with a little more detail.
    I am being given EMF files. They need to be converted to AI files, the file converted from RGB to CMYK, colors edited to be Pantone match, saved in 4 formats... AI, EPS, PNG and GIF. And I need to do this via Applescript as there are too many to sit and do one by one.
    Problem: The colors in the EMF file do not come into the AI file's palette. I can't change the colors until they are in the palette. I can not sit and manage (open and edit) each file.... therefore I was at a standstill.
    Solution: Create an action and build out a do script.... Didn't realize this could be integrated in the workflow.... I am all set now, but hopefully you understand where I was going with it.

  • How to collect JScrollPanes into a Container variable? (urgent...)

    Please help me in following problem:
    I can collect succesfully one JScrollPane into a Container variable allComponents and then show this Container in application window. However, I would like to collect several JScrollPanes into this same Container variable but it does not work. Should I use some kind of add command?
    I tried something like
    allComponents.add(jspane);
    but I got error code "variable allComponents might not have been initialized" allthough I have tried my best to initialize it.
    Thanks for your kind help!
    Snippets from my program:
    class SwingApplication implements ActionListener
    public Container createComponents()
    Container allComponents;
    jspane = new JScrollPane(panel);
    jspane2 = new JScrollPane(cards);
    allComponents = jspane; // THIS WORKS BUT I WOULD LIKE TO COLLECT BOTH jspane AND jspane2 WITH ADD COMMAND
    return allComponents;
    class DragImage
    { public static void main(String[] args)
    JFrame frame = new JFrame("SwingApplication");
    SwingApplication app = new SwingApplication();
    Container contents = app.createComponents();
    frame.getContentPane().add(contents, BorderLayout.CENTER);

    THanks for your interest!!
    Perhaps I give the whole source code
    The problem lies in the following place:
    allComponents = jspane;
    return allComponents;
    I would like to use some kind of command
    allComponents.add(jspane);
    but it does not seem to work. I get the error "variable allComponents might not be initialized".
    The program should print images in two rows. With my current knowledge i can only print one row of images.
    Thanks!

  • Saved own colors in swatch palette in start up page

    How can I save my favorite (most used) colors in my swatch palette and use them over and over again? (Means I want to see them at every start up. In earlier versions I could find the "start up page", where I could save them, where it is in CS3?)
    Thanks, Laszlo, designer at SIGN-A-RAMA Margate, Florida

    Check the help files on creating your own swatch library. You can save the swatch library on your computer and then open Illustrator (with no document open), open the swatch library that you created, and then check persistent in the pallette options. It should then open up every time you open Illustrator.

  • How to create 'custom defined color' in the palette (Oracle 6i Form Buidl)?

    I'm new to Oracle 6i and urgently need to edit a colour scheme used on an existing set of Forms in Forms Builder.
    I can see how to select colors from the default palette but cannot find a way to edit the 8 spaces kept in the palette for 'custom defined colors'.

    Have you tried with something as

  • Collect information from an exprenal SQL DB and collect it into a SCOM Databag so we can collect the data, report and report on it.

    The DB is collecting counts.  We want to collect the counts into a bag, then once in the bag be able to report the counts (need to collect on an hourly basis)

    Hi TLC426,
    you can use a timed powershell or vb script to connect to the db and run a sql command against it. The result must then be parsed and returned in the property bag.
    As a starting point you should have a look at Pete Zerger's blog post
    http://www.systemcentercentral.com/scom-query-sql-database-for-value-in-monitoring-script/ .
    Just wrap around the creation of a property bag and replace the eventlog entry generation with returning the value.
    Please keep in mind that you should always should return a property bag, even it is empty.
