Collect Feedback workflow with pdf documents

Hi,
Is it possible to incorporate collect feedback workflow with pdf documents ?
Thanks
techie

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you want to incorporate collect feedback workflow with pdf documents.
Before you add a workflow, you plan where you want to add it (for a single list or library, or for the entire site collection) and the details of how it will work.
If you want to add the pdf documents to a library, you can add the collect feedback workflow for a library. Please refer to:
https://support.office.com/en-ie/article/All-about-Collect-Feedback-workflows-a0fd6fc5-0625-4aef-a41f-40aadbc9d946#add1add
If you want to make the pdf documents as a template of a content type, you can
add the collect feedback workflow for a content type. Please refer to:

  • Need link/button to allow users to add attachments to Tasks on Collect Feedback workflow

    Hi All,
we would like to modify the
Collect Feedback workflow in SharePoint to
allow users to add attachments to Tasks. We need an additional button on the review form to attach files, when the reviewers are submitting their comments.

    Hi nai.mish,
I would not suggest you to modify the default collect feedback workflow, but to custom a workflow with custom form page that similar with the default workflow.
You can consider using SharePoint Designer workflow, in this way, you may not be able to custom the task form with attachment, you can try to use “Hyperlink or Picture” column, this will need the viewer to upload the attachment to a library
    first.
Or you can create VS workflow, the following has a sample about adding attachment to an InfoPath Workflow task form, you can get more information from it:

  • When I open a pdf document from my dropbox to view it, the document shows up blank, even though it is filled out. This also happened with pdf documents that have been e-mailed to me.

When I open a pdf document from my dropbox to view it, the document appears blank, even though I know the information is actually there. This also has happened with pdf documents that have been e-mailed to me, then opened to view and they are blank?? Why are they showing up blank?

When I open emails with PDFs I click on the attachment (doing this all on my iPad) it gives me the option to "open in iBooks", I accept then after that the document is sucked into my iPad but I can't do anything with the PDF after that.  Where is the actual file on my iPad? Why can't I email or send these PDFs to my cloud (Dropbox)?
It's like once they go into iBooks they're stuck forever.

  • Collect feedback workflow comments

    Hi,
I am using a collect Feedback workflow 2010 (in sharepoint 2013). Users enter comments when they respond.
We could see the comments if we open the workflow task individually but could not see the comments in the Workflow tasks view.Is this a known bug, is there any solution / work around for this issue.Thanks.

    Hi,
Based on your description, you want to view the comments in the workflow tasks view in SharePoint 2013.
In the workflow tasks view it cannot display comments filed.
There is a workaround, you could follow the steps below:
    1. Create a comments field in the task list.
    2. Edit collect Feedback
workflow in SharePoint designer, and in your task process editor, go into the part called "change the behavior for a single task".
    3. In the "when a task completes" section, add an action at the beginning of that section, to update List Item in your task list to set the comments field.
    There is a similar case:

  • Preview seems having problem with relative link with PDF documents

    Hello,
I have a PDF file which I've added relative hyperlinks to it (to an html file). I did it with Adobe Acrobat 7.0 (for Windows). I have a link which is a custom action: Open a web link. The link is defined as "../presentation/referencesechelon8.html". I need relative link because the entire web site can be deployed on a DVD instead of on a Web server.
On Windows with Firefox or IE everything is working flawlessly. On the Mac side, it's working with Safari since it's using Adobe Reader to read the PDF. However, with other browsers using Mac built-in PDF viewer, Preview 3, it is not working at all. In the pdf document Preview 3 is unable to reconstruct the original url from the relative link. Instead it points to http://../presentation/referencesechelon8.html which is not correct.
Does anyone have an idea? I've googled a lot and did not find anything. My next try will be to use a Javascript to reconstruct the url.
    Thank you in advance!

  • TS3048 Scrolling problems with PDF documents

Whenever I open a PDF document in my mac, I am unable to use the mouse to scroll, print or close the documents.  I do not have any such problems while working with any other documents i.e. MS OFFICE etc.  Why is this problem and what could be the solution?

When you say "Acrobat", do you mean Adobe Acrobat Standard or Pro? Or do you mean Adobe Reader?
If it is Adobe Acrobat, I would go to the preflight option and see what information you get there. But no, I have not had the problem myself.

single chargeparty has multiple invoice will so i need to generate single pdf for same chargepartycode and send it to the respected email ,here problem is generating the pdf for same chargeparty in one page and different chargeparties in different pages..how

    Hi,
I think we need to split the question:
    1. Create a PDF file and send a mail from ADF
Here ADF doesn't provide specific libraries and thus you want to Google for Java APIs to i) create PDF documents and ii) send a mail with attachment
    2. Query invoices and associated details
This can easily be done in ADF by querying a View object for the invoice and then use its view link accessor to access detail rows. How to access a detail from a master row is explained in the Fusion Developer Guide on OTN

  • Creating Links with PDF documents

I am creating PDF documents based on SAP Scripts.  I want to hyperlink within these PDF documents but I don't know the command.  Help!
I can use html tags to bold and other fuctions, but <a href..> anchor tags do not work within the PDF.  Any information would be appreciated.

    Hi Allen,
I spent a bit of time looking at your interesting query, but am afraid I cannot find any solution to it.
If you want to send the document via email, and therefore need the hyperlink, your best bet might be to send it as an HTML document. I don't know if you can achieve the transformation to an HTML document using traditional SAPScript though, but it is possible with Smartforms.

  • Printing problems with Pdf documents created with Pages

I upgraded to Acrobat 8.0 recently and for some reason when I save a Pages document to pdf, within the print options then try and print, it prints blank.
I have created other pdf documents which print OK, so the problem lies somewhere within Pages.
I didn't have the problem with Acrobat 7.0

  • Preview no longer works with pdf documents

I had downloaded Adobe Acrobat Reader to solve one problem. It didn't work and I didn't like it. I liked using Preview much more and so I uninstalled it. However, after I uninstalled it, Preview no longer works to open pdf documents on the Internet. Is there anything I can do. I don't really want Adobe's Reader back because in my opinion it is an inferior product. Is there anyway just to reinstall something so that Preview works as before?
    PowerBook G4   Mac OS X (10.4.6)

    Hi, Stanley.
I presume you're using Safari as your Web browser and that this question pertains solely to opening PDFs via links in Web pages you are viewing in Safari.
    If so:
    1. Quit (Command-Q) Safari if it is open.
    2. Open the Macintosh HD > Library > Internet Plug-Ins folder.
    3. If you find the file AdobePDFViewer.plugin therein, Trash it, then empty the Trash. If prompted to authenticate, provide your Admin password.
    Good luck!

  • Still having problem with PDF document video - Text Blurred on Scaling Down

Need to scale down a captured PDF document video (.mp4). but text become blurry after scale down. Any suggestions to keep the text clear and readable ?

Those two things are not the same shape. If what I am about to say is too basic, please forgive me. It might help someone else later.
The ratio of your captured image (1434 x 958) is calculated as:
    1434 / 958 = 1.496868475991649
The ratio of your export is calculated as:
    640 / 480 = 1.333333333333333
Just get the representation of them into one document, I created a Photoshop file big enough to hold them both. Then I scaled it down and took a screen shot to fit this forum's restrictions on file size.
If you look at the first image, it is difficult to see that they are different shapes.
In order to make them easier to see, I scaled down the larger layer, using the Shift key to ensure that the scale is perfectly proportional.
Now you can easily tell that the ratio of 1434x958 is much wider than the ratio of 640 X 480.
That means that you are changing the shape of the image when you export.
If you are concerned about the long edge, you could divide 640 by 1.496868475991649 and export the image at 640X428 and get closer. It is not optimum, but should look better. Optimum would have been to size your PDF to where the longer edge was evenly divisible by 16. But, too late for that.
Another choice would be to edit the video in a 640X480 sequence, and scale the PDF video down to fit that sequence - leaving a letterbox look (black bars on top and bottom). That might help the image stay sharp. Then export to 640X480 from there.

  • Errors with PDF documents

    Hi,
I'm having trouble with some PDFs for work. They have small images of keypad buttons. They display fine on the PC, but on my iPhone 4 they just show a black box for each image. Here's a link to one of the smaller manuals that has this issue (check either page): http://www.alarmlock.com/images/pdf/PDL3300WI1293.07ADDM.pdf
I was having this issue on my old iPhone 3G, and it's still a problem on my new iPhone 4 (I did not do a restore from the 3G to the 4). I have tried viewing them in iBooks, the built in viewer in email, and also with DocsToGo. They all have the same problem.
    Thanks for any help!

    Hi Marco
    Just some hints here...
Have you checked if you can access the files from the TREX server?
In the last error it seems like the TREX server tries to access the document as a Guest user. Are you sure this error is caused by the indexing? The TREX server used the service user index_service to access documents with.
