Hi,
Go to RSA6 R/3, Select your datasource. Click on the Transport button. Then this asks Transport request, then you can collect.
Or Select your datasource and click on change. In this way also, you can collect into TR

  • Collecting Datasource in transport request

    Hi All,
I have query I have did the enhancement to  data source YDS_SO_COND_PTNRFCT I am moving this request from ECC development to ECC quality system. I collected the data source in RSA6 ,but when I check the request only I  found the data source the extract structure was not collected so I went to particular Extract structure collected manually. The request went successfully but  the field is not visible in the extract structure in quality system.
So my query is while collecting the data source in rsa6 is extract structure will collect automatically in  transport request. Anyone know what will be the reason why the changes are reflecting in extract structure.
    Regards,
    Nandini

    Hi,
Data Source is nothing but a Extract structure. When you do changes for the structure and click on save automatically extract structure also will collect.
Is the field custom created or standard.
Before transporting of Extract struture check all the dependent objects are collected properly or not.
    let us know the details.

  • Collecting INFOPACKAGE in Transport request individually

    Hi ALL:
While collecting infopackage in Transport request individually(Flow is Infosources> Tools> Object Catalog Entry), it is not prompting to enter the valid transport request number(after entering the valid package name).
Can anyone suggest me how to get the screen that prompts to enter the valid transport request number.
    Thanks

Here is the steps to collect objects under transport request:
    1. rsa1->transport connection
    2. left panel choose 'object type', middle panel choose 'infocube' and 'select objects'
    3. then choose your infocube and 'transfer'
    4. will go to right panel, choose collection mode 'manual' and grouping only 'necessary objects'
    5. after objects collection finished, create request. Repeat the same steps with grouping 'in dataflow before'
    6. If they are $TMP, then change the package.
    7. When you click the Save on the change package, it will prompt for transport. Here you can provide an existing open transport request number, or if you like here itself you can create a new one.
    8. You can check the request in SE09 to confirm.
    9. If everything is ok, release your request and ask your basis/security guy to move to QA.
    OR
When you will create any object and save it, system will ask you to save under transport request and you can either save it under your transport request or can create new request.
    Hope this helps..

  • Collecting objects in transport request

    HI Experts,
My development is completed and now i have to collect the objects in transport request. my development is like
    1) infoobjects(new infoobjects and some are available in BIP already and some infoobjects have reference infoobjects, dependent object is in production)
    2)Infopackeage for Datasource
    3)DSO
    4) Infocube
    5)multiprovider
    6)queries and views
    7)web templates
This is the first time I am collecting this many objects. So please give  sugessions how to collect these objects in a single transport request.
    Thanks and Regards,
    RAJ

It is advisable to collect the objects in separate transport requests...the transport request should contain dependent objects
    1) collect all the InfoObjects
    2) collect all the cubes/DSO   (they need Infoobjects.. so they are dependent on 1)
    3) collect datasources/Infosources  (they need Infoobjects.. so they are dependent on 1)
    4) collect transformation  (they need 2 and 3)
    5) collect DTPs and InfoPackages   (they need 3, 4)
    6) collect the reports
    7) collect the web templates
make sure these are transported in sequence... each on dependent on previous

  • Unable to collect objects into transport request BI 7.0

    Hello all!
I have a fresh installation of BI netweaver 2004s. When attempting create a  transport (in transport collection), I get the following error message:
Changes cannot be made, display user only
Object IOBJ xxxxxxxx couldn't be saved to order
The message is repeated for about 50% of all the objects I'm trying to include in a transport...
How can I fix this? Has anyone seen the problem before?
    Regards,
    F C

I am not sure on which system(Dev,QA,PRD) you are trying to collect..looks like you dont have authorization ..but then if it is only infobjects and you have a transport request already created..you can try this
goto se09..double click on your transport request you created.. go to change mode.. Go to Objects tab--> Add an entry like below:
    <b>R3TR</b> under project..
    <b>IOBJ</b> under Object type and
    <b><your infobject name></b> under object name..and save..

  • Need a datasource for transport request

    Hi all,
i am working on solution manager and i have to develop a BI report using the bi engine of solution manager....the report which i have to deliver is transport request details like....if a tp request is in dev then what is its status and if it is in qa then what it is its status...etc....
so is there any business content datasource which can give me these details ....
    Regards..
    Deadlocks

    Hi
In most of the clients they write a custom program to see the versions of a tp.
My best bet would be ..if you are trace/debug mode in the transport logs.. it will give you what you need to write a report...
Take a look at tables E070 and E071
    Thanks

  • Incorrect Transport Requests : SAP delivery version getting collected

    Hi,
In our development system, when we try to include objects in a transport request, the entries in the transport request are getting saved as the SAP Delivery version rather than the active version.
For example an ODS ( z object, newly created in development environment) entry is being logged as R3TR DODS  XXXX (Obj name) rather than R3TR ODSO XXXX.This is happening for all object types ( Info objects, cubes, workbooks etc).
Also while collecting workbooks in transport request ( using transport connection) we got the following error -Logical transport object 414Q not found in table RSTLOGOPROP. Not sure if the above two issues are interlinked.
    Appreciate your help on this.
    Kind Regards,
    Bansi

    Hi KxD,
I don't expect the loading date to be equal to the delivery date but I expect it to be 2 days before the delivery date since the time specified on the route is 2 days. So I would expect my loading date = delivery date - 2 days (route time)
The way system is acting is loading date  = committed date + 2 days (route time).
FYI.. when you turn on route scheduling the delivery creation date is based off of your route time and not your planned delivery time from the material master
    Thanks,
    Imran

  • Collecting the Piece list in Transport request.

    Hi All,
For Currency translation, i have created the Piece list in Development system.
Can you please guide me how to collect it in transport request and transport to other systems.
    Please suggest.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
This is useful if your system is ECC or Bw.
at Dev system which t code you created  your list.
From same screen, explore with menu options, there will be a option like direct object entry - its used to collect into transport request
    or
Below method useful if your system is BW.
Standard way - You can use Bw RSA1-->transport connection, find your object from middle pane and move to right side pane, later you can collect into transport request.
    Thanks

  • How to collect a tranformation and routines in it in a transport request

how to collect a tranformation and routines in it in a  transport request.
also if a tranfer rule and its routines to be collected in a transport request.

    goto RSA1-> Transport connections
select object types in the left pane..drop down the transformation type and select the transformation that is to be captured.
move it to the right pane. Right click on the transformation and select 'do not check any below' if you do not wanna transfer the source and the target info providers. Drill down through the transformation and select the routines that needs capturing.
select 'package' and give the appropriate package name and save it. It will ask for the request number and give the requst number.
    The objects are collected.
To check go to se01 and check under the requests if the objects are captured.

  • Sequence of collecting objects for transport in BI

I am making a display attribute to navigational attribute, kindly let me know the sequence of collecting objects for transport request.
i need to check in infocube as well in multi provider.
    please let me know
    thanks,
    Venkat

    Hi,
Make sure the Infoobjects(in which you are changing it from Display attirube to Nav attribute) and collect the other things in a seperate request (Infoproviders, the deativated transformations and the DTP followed by Queries). Release the request to QA/Prd in a sequence(Infoobject request first and the iinfoprovider request as followed by the successful movement of the first one.
The STMS automatically take cares the sequence of trasnporting the objects one by one to the destination system.

  • No object can select when collecting objects for transport

    Hi.Experts:
When I use RSA1 and want to collect objects for transport,I found that no objects can be found for some object type, such as ISTD/TRFN etc, any body who know this situation?
    Best Regards
    Martin Xie

    Hi Martin,
best way to collect objects into transport request is throught RSA1 -> Transport connection.
in Transport connection, you have different options to collect objects into transport request.
    In data flow before...
here you can see objects that are already have transport request, package...

  • Issue in BI Objects collection into Transport Request

    Hi Experts
I am experincing a Issue in collecting Infocube and related objects into a transport requests using transport connection.
My Scenario is as explained below
    1.Migrated 3.x Dataflow into BI 7.0 Dataflow
2.Dataflow consists Infocube -->DSO (two separate DSO) --> Infosource (only 1) --> Datasource (from 2 different Source systems)
I have manually captured all my objects into a transport requests. i.e while activation.
The issue is when I try to use transport connection on this infocube with "Dataflow before" & Automatic collection options.
I am getting the below mentioned error.
Object '4C3C4WGBCRK9UWKNDGGYNKDNA' (ROUT) of type 'Routine' is not available in version 'A'
    Message no. RSO252
    Diagnosis
You wanted to generate an object with the name '4C3C4WGBCRK9UWKNDGGYNKDNA' (in transport request ROUT) of type 'Routine' (TLOGO). This is, however, not available in the BW Repository database. It does not exist in the requested version A. If the version is 'D' then it is possible that an error arose during the delivery or installation. If the version is 'A' then the Object was either not created or not activated.
    System Response
The object was not taken into account in the next stage of processing.
I am sure that all my objects are collected into transport requests & I checked the object entry of all the dataflow objects..
Appreciate your valuable inputs on this.
    Thank you in advance
    PKC

In that case, pls ignore my prevoius post...
The issue is when I try to use transport connection on this infocube with "Dataflow before" & Automatic collection options.
With this option, system should have collected the related routines. Did u expand routine node, and check (ON) the check box for that routine ???
(Once all objects got collected,  now from the right most window, expand each node (application, infoarea, routines etc) and put checkbox 'ON' (checked) to ONLY the objects (routine 4C3C4WGBCRK9UWKNDGGYNKDNA' ) u want to transport. Once u r done with that, click on Transport (truck Icon) and enter package name, if system prompts.)

  • Two nodes under Transport Request for Datasources

    Hi all,
I need to transport 3.x DataSource  from DEV to PROD.
Using TRANSPORT CONNECTIONS I have added all required Datasources in my transport request.
In SE10 I can see 2 nodes under my transport request.
    DataSource Replica
    DataSource (Active Version)
All Datasources are shown in DataSource Replica but a few of them (not sure why) in DataSource (Active Version).
I wanted to know the if this is the right way to transport ???
Will it result in an error while transporting to PROD ???
Please help me in clearing my doubts.
    Regards
    Shalabh

  • Mass collection of data sources in Transport request.

    Hi All,
I want to capture the data sources which are available in RSA5. It is already activated and captured in Transport Request. But the Transport request was deleted by somebody.
I want to re-capture the activation of data sources which are there in RSA5. I want to collect 90 data sources in one Transport request.
Can you please guide me a easy way to capture all the data sources in transport request.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
you might be able to create a new Transport request and add the datasources manually.
check out the table roosource for the sources. you can find your's by filtering on tstpnm.
add the sources with object 'R3TR' and subobject 'OSOA'.
    regards
    Siggi
