Collecting input digits

I have created a simple script with menu steps, I want to add a step to collect 6 digits from the caller and present the collected digits to the agent through the CAD. I don’t want to interact with the database to check the validity of the collected number, just collect whatever digits entered by the caller and present them to the agent along with other information like the CLID, etc. ِAny  idea ?

Hello,
First go to cisco desktop administrator.
then use the web link which is the desktop administrator , from there you can controll the layout of the agent.
make sure that one of the variables can appear on the agent screen by selecting it from the right pane to the left pane under the layout.
After that from the script editor , the step which is collect digits , you can set the variable to this step , in this case , the digits will be saved to that variable and hen it will appear on the agent screen.

  • Music collection in digital format no cd storage playable in car and iMac?

    I have many cassettes I'd like to transfer into the mp3 format which works on the Sony MEX-1GP Giga Panel car radio. I also want to have them play on my iMac G5 10.4.11. Will this work or am I out of luck on the compatibility front? Would I need to make 2 copies from cassette, one for mac and one for sony, or can I make a single copy and alter it to play in the other format?
    What I really want is to have a music collection in digital format and no cd storage that will play on the mac and in the car. I don't own the sony radio-I just saw it as a way to play this hoped for digital library. So any other suggested ways to meet this goal would be of help.
    Thanks for any tips for cassette conversion into Mac friendly files too!

    One way is to connect your Cassette deck (through the Tape out sockets of your amplifier) to the audio in socket of your computer. On the computer you'll need audio editing software to capture and edit the resulting long file into individual tracks that can be added to the iTunes Library. There are a number of commercial programs for this (I use Sound Studio for the Mac). If want to try out the process first you could try the open source program Audacity which has Linux, Mac and Windows versions at this link: Audacity
    In addition to the software you'll need RCA to 3.5 mm audio plug cables to connect the Tape Out sockets of your amplifier to the audio inputs of your computer. There's a short guide to recording here: How to record from vinyl and cassette to a computer also from the BBC Copying Vinyl Recordings to CD
    If your Mac hasn't got an audio in socket you can have a look at the Griffin iMic which connects to a USB port and comes with some software of it's own: iMic USB audio interface

  • PID Control - analog input, digital outputs

    Hello everyone,
    I am trying to use the PID toolkit to convert my existing feedback control system to one using PID or just PI whatever works best. Problem is that the tutorials out there discuss in detail about obtaining Analog inputs and using the PID output to control an analog output. Are there any tutorials that show how I can control my process variable which is an analog input by using the PID output to generate digital outputs?
    Basically, what I am doing is controlling the incline of my device with two digital outputs that control two solenoid valves. The angle is calculated from a calibration curve that plots distance sensor voltage with Angle. Any help would be immensely apprecitated. I want to try this out on my own before I post some vi's. Thanks!

    I may not be perfect, but I'm all I got!

    That is exactly what I am doing currently. I have error bands specified around the target to make sure that it doesn't oscillate. But, under load conditions such as pulsed load conditions, the device goes out of bounds and the values trigger to correct for it. But, what I need is seemless or atleast seemless correction. Currently what I see is sudden adjustments to the incline. Please find attached what I am currently using. I am trying to get a more finer solution if at all possible.
    Note: Within 5% of the target = NO action
              Between 5% and 15% = Pulsed ACtion ( DO On for Pulse width time)
              Greater than 15% = continuous action until it reaches Pulse band
    I may not be perfect, but I'm all I got!

  • Vi for GMSK gaussian filter simulation of input digital wave.

    I need to drive an rf generator with a gaussian filter GMSK data stream (FM) from an ARB. I need to assemble a digital data packet (30 bytes), filter it via a gaussian filter.vi in labview, assemble the packet and program an ARB then send it to an rf generator (external modulation input port). Need help creating a gaussian filter.vi for the GMSK packet. Any help will be much appreciated.

    I've never actually built a Gaussian filter before. If there's a particular part about one of the filter VIs, I may be able to help you with that. However, from the info you have given, I'm not very clear on exactly what you are wanting to do. If you add some information on the data which you are wanting to filter (array of doubles, etc) maybe we can help you out with it.

  • How to view only select images out of a collection of digitized slides

    I have not yet purchased adobe photo software. Which version is the simplest to accomplish what I want to do and is it simple?  Or do I even need photo software.  I have digitized my 50 years of slides. They are in large folders on the computer. Each folder is labelled only with a time period. Each image was corrected via MS Photo Gallery and then tagged or labelled with who or what, where and when.
    How can I best send them out to the children to view on their computers but with  a way for them to select and view only the ones they are interested in out of the thousands. Like " Diana" or "Grand Canyon 2010".  We are 75 and not very computer literate yet. We have done this once now  and want to take the next step to make it a user friendly resource for our kids and grandchildren

    Certainly, Lightroom or Photoshop Elements will do this. As far as I know, the freeware Picasa should be able to do this as well. If you are not very computer literate, you probably would want to start with Picasa.
    If your needs are no more complicated than described above, you could also use your operating system to search for keywords. Of course, if you need other features from photo software, then your operating system isn't sufficient.

  • How to input/output a digital signal and acquire an analog signal at the same time?

    Dasylab, version: 8.0.04
    Acquirement Card: PCI1002L
    When I use DasyLab to acquire the analog signals is no problem without digital inputs and outputs,
    and when I use DasyLab to input or output a digital signal is no problem also, but when I do that at the
     same time, DasyLab tell me the rate is too high and stop.
    so, I searched the manual book1 (user guide) for that, it showed me :
    To internally equalize measurement time and system time in the analog input, digital input and counter
    hardware modules, use the following settings:
       Synchronization: PC Clock
       Sampling rate: <= 5Hz
       Block size: =1
    the problem is, if I set the Sampling rate to 5Hz, the speed of the acquirement datas is not enough for my
    application.
    so, how to improve it? who can give me a example programm for me. thanks!
    by the way, I come from China, my English isn't good, I'm sorry.
    Allen, China.

    Hi,
    Have things changed over the years?
    I need to syncronise a digital output (Modul NI9474) and an analoge input (AI-Modul NI9203) module. I need to measure time intervals from a flank in signal A to a flank in signal B. I would like accuracies of the order of 1 ms. Currently, the signals are not synchronised, with errors of the order of 2 times the block length (block size x sample rate), sometimes much higher. The best I got so far was a block size of around 20 with a sample rate of 1 kHz.
    If I use the master and slave settings on the RTSL settings, my program doesn't run properly.
    If I use digital signals for input and output, I can syncronise them with RTSL settings and everything is good, but I can't always do that.
    Also, if I do anything in the GUI (such as scrollowing something or going to another window), my output gets screwed up properly.
    1. What can be done to synchronise AI with DO?
    2. Is there something that can be done to avoid messing up the output when something happens in the user interface? (I know that I am messing up the outputs as they make some valves switch and that is loud).
    Thanks in advance!

  • Digital Goods are non-taxable in my state, but iTunes collected anyway...

    I just purchased non-free items in iTunes for the first time. I was very surprised to be charged 6% sales tax on my digital items.
    I did some checking - there are several states where Digital Goods can be taxed, but my state, currently, is NOT one of them. Unless I have been misinformed by the various collections of digital goods law I've been able to find, in Pennsylvania, Digital Goods are currently non-taxable. I take that to mean that Apple is breaking Pennsylvania Law by charging me this sales tax, since Apple will apparently not be forwarding what it collected to my State.
    How do I get this 6% back from Apple?

    Gee, thanks. Could you be less helpful?
    We really need a non-helpful button here - I'd like to penalize people who only answer just to get a higher post count.
    I didn't ask whether Apple's legal department was huge and infallible, I asked how to get my 6% non-sales tax back when the law as described by more than one tax authority site online currently claims it's not legal for Apple to take it for my State.
    I'm assuming it was taken by mistake and am giving Apple the benefit of the doubt. Telling me that I'm wrong would've answered the question, if you can back it up with a reference that proves that Digital Goods are, as of August 25th, 2010, currently taxable in Pennsylvania.
    In fact, anything confirming or denying whether Digital Goods are taxable in Pennsylvania would be relevant to this question. Pointing out how large and smart their lawyers are, does nothing towards this confirmation. Ask yourself whether Microsoft's equally sizable and astute legal department ever did anything illegal, knowingly or unknowingly.
    If I'm wrong, then I'm wrong, and I'll walk away having paid the 6% already. But if I'm right, I want to know how to get it back, and how to stop it from happening in the future. If you don't have anything relevant to say regarding the question asked, kindly go elsewhere. You're not needed here.

  • Inputting from a digital source (mini recorder - -BOSS micro BR)

    I have recorded original song tracks on a mini recorder and want to input the song into Garage band. The project chooser window does not give me any options for inputting digital sources, so I am at a complete loss as to how to begin. I am not recording a voice or any of the instruments shown.... the "HELP" does not indicate how to do this. At least I have not found it, so the "Help" is not much help..This is my very first time at using Garage Band, and am already stymied. Can someone please give me 3 basic steps to get the song into Garage Band? Thanx.

    Are you asking how to get files from this mini recorder onto your Mac?
    Once the files are actually on the Mac, and assuming they're in a format GB can import (WAV, AIFF, mp3, or aac), then we can help you get those files into garage band.
    You'll have to read the documentation that came with your recorder on how to transfer files to the Mac first.
    You'll note this is the Garage Band forum, not the BOSS micro BR forum

  • Represent a digital input in labview

    Hello, i am reading with my module in compact rio ni9401 a input digital signal, how could i see all that digital signal in labview?
    thanks

    OK, it sounds like it's time for you to take some LabVIEW tutorials as these are very basic questions and you need to understand the basics before you can make good use of LabVIEW.  http://www.ni.com/academic/students/learnlabview/
    Now your questions:
    The waveform chart defaults to a history length of 1024.  Right-click the chart and change it to be longer if you need.  A long history will just cost you memory so you can make it pretty big.
    Of course you can have a BOOLEAN indicator.  Just drop an LED on the front panel and wire its terminal to the point you want to monitor like I already told you.
    WHY are you making your timed loop run SLOWER (4 < 7 < 10 < 13) if you want FASTER resolution???  Set it to 1mSec.  (Also, there are better ways to do this depending on your hardware but I'm not familiar with your DAQ.)
    You can INVERT a BOOLEAN with the INVERT function found in the BOOLEAN palette!  Again, if you don't know these basic things, you need to take some tutorials to use LabVIEW.
    Using LabVIEW: 7.1.1, 8.5.1 & 2013

  • Built-in Digital Input - Tap Tap Tap Noise

    Hi Guys,
    Can someone out there confirm the following as normal behaviour or
    otherwise -
    Using Linein software (by rogue amobia) when i select "Built-in Digital Input: Digital In" as the input source and output this to "Defaul System Output" I get a loud tap, tap, tap ..... sound (it runs constantly), I also get this in Sound Studio when I select Digital Input as the source.
    I have nothing connected to the Digital input of this computer so why do I get this tapping noise???
    Thanks In Advance
    Lee

    I've had problems connecting my computer to my cable box as well. Comcast apparently disables some of the functions on its boxes. Call your cable company. It's most likely a problem with your box, not your computer.
    Good luck and if you find the problem let me know.

  • Collecting Multiple lines of input

    I'm trying to write a method that will collect multiple lines of input off a console and put each line as a separate in an element. This includes blank lines.
    For example, someone could input:
    First Line.
    Second Line.
    Third Line.
    It's the blank lines that is mainly causing me a problem.
    I currently have:
    public Vector<String> newInput(){
              //Collect Input
              Vector<String> inputs = new Vector<String>();
              BufferedReader in = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(System.in));
              String input = null;
              try {
                   while((input = in.readLine()) != null) {
                        inputs.add(input);
              }catch (IOException ioe) {
              //Return the collected input
              return inputs;
         }Any ideas much appreciated

    import java.util.Scanner;
    import java.util.Vector;
    public class Test {
         public static void main(String[] args) {
              Vector<String> inputs = new Vector<String>();
              Scanner s = new Scanner(System.in);
              System.out.println("Enter input: ");
              while (s.hasNextLine()) {
                   String input = s.nextLine();
                   if (inputs.equals(""))
                        input = "\n";
                   inputs.add(input);
              System.out.println("Input is: ");
              for (String input : inputs) {
                   System.out.println(input);
    }Results:
    Enter input:
    lol
    lmao...          wtf?
    the end
    Input is:
    lol
    lmao...          wtf?
    the end
    ** END OF INPUTIsn't it what you're loonking for? If not your problem is elsewhere

  • Digital I/O why can't I have line outs and line ins in the same application?

    I have a problem with my digital lines. I have several "write to digital line" VIs, and I also need some "read from digital line" VIs. My problem is that when I supply 5V to the line in, it doesn't register high. I checked this on a separate program, and when I did not have a "write to digital line" , the "read from digital line" was at 5V (I checked it with a multimeter). As soon as I included a "write to digital line" in the program, the input was jumping around 1.3V. What is the problem here?

    Hello,
    I apologize for the delay in responding to your question. You are writing to digital channel 0. This is the same thing as digital port 0. A port is simply a collection of digital lines. Since you are reading and writing to lines 0-7 on channel 0, the Write to Digital Line and Read from Digital Line VIs are resetting the state of the port every time they are called. I notice you have wired a 0 to the iteration count of all the write VIs, but nothing to the read VIs. To fix this problem,
    Wire a 1 to the iteration input of all the write VIs except for one. This last VI you can either wire a 0, or leave it unwired as 0 is the default.
    Wire a 1 to the iteration input of all the read VIs.
    I have m
    odified your VI in this way and attached it below. Ideally, you would want to write to a line with 0 for the iteration count only once (outside the loop). The modified VI will do it at the beginning of every loop iteration. I have tested it here and it seems to work without problems. The reason for the modification is that both the high level read and write VIs reset the port when they are called unless you wire a nonzero number to the iteration input. This effectively tells the VI that the port has been initialized and it can skip it.
    Feel free to post again if you have further questions. Happy coding,
    Grant M.

  • Transferring Vynil to digital

    Hi, can I use the existing soundcard on my intel based imac to transfer my record collection to digital. If so what equipment do I need?
    I have an turntable albeit not USB.
    Thanks
    Col

    If your turntable is just that, with no amplification, you need to connect it to a suitable input on a hi-fi amp or a preamplifier and feed the output from that to the Mac (if it's an amplifier, the recording output, not the speaker output).
    You can connect this sort of output directly into the input of your iMac: you will need lead with a 3.5mm stereo jackplug. You will get slightly better quality by using a digital input: if you have a Minidisk recorder, for example, you can connect its optical output directly into the same input socket on modern iMacs (you will need a mini-TOSlink connector) or you could get an audio to USB interface. However the plain analogue input is probably adequate.
    You will need a program to record: Audacity is free though possibly still a bit flaky: Amadeus Pro is $40 and is good.

  • Digital output problem with new Audigy 2 driv

    I updated to the 02.08.0004 drivers today and everything seemed fine till after I calibrated my speakers within speaker settings. I have Z680s hooked up to a Audigy 2 PCI card using both digital out and analog. As with previous drivers I calibrated using 6 Channel direct input.
    Anyway, the problem is that when I use windows media player or any other media app, with the speakers set to Coax input (digital) I get the sound coming from the rear 2 speakers, instead of through the front 2 as it should. However, this only happens if I choose a speaker calibration under speaker settings.
    It's a bit annoying because I didn't have this problem before. Anyone else have this problem or a solution? Or is it a case of Rolling back to an old driver and hoping the problem doesn't stick?
    Thanks

    Anyone have any ideas?

  • Getting input from mouse-wheel: does not work under windows/IE

    Hi
    I have built an applet that extends JApplet. To it I have added a class that extends JPanel implements MouseListener, MouseWheelListener, MouseMotionListener.
    I collect input using the method
    public void mouseWheelMoved(MouseWheelEvent e){
    do stuff...
    I have build this on a mac and tested it in firefox and it works fine. But on xp/vista internet explorer, the applet does not respond to mousewheel input. On mac osx /safari it does not work either.
    Is there any solution to this problem?
    Best regards, Carlis.

    Just for luck, try setting the JPanel focusable.panel.setFocusable(true);If that doesn't make a difference, you need to post a [_Short, Self Contained, Compilable and Executable, Example Program (SSCCE)_|http://mindprod.com/jgloss/sscce.html] that clearly demonstrates your problem.
