Sap Collections Management Configuration Guide 6.0
Hi All
I have started to install SAP Collections Management from FSCM. I have seen references to a pdf document configuration guide version 6.0 but cannot seem to locate the document on SAP. Does anyone have this document or know where it is available?
Regards
SimonHi Simon,
Just simply check SMP > FSCM-COL > media library > 'other tab' as blow;
or I can share it if you share private email.
All the best

Collection Management - Distrubution per company code
Hi All,
In Collection management configuration,i trying active distrubution per company code, i able see only one radio button(Direct Payers). If i see anothere sap system there is around four radio buttons(all items for HO,item from direct payerfor HO,all item for Branch and alternative payer).
Please can anybody tell me, what is configauration for display this radio button in my sap system.
Thanks & regards
RaviRavi - When you say "other SAP systems" are these two systems owned by the same client? The ability to produce Collection Worklist at either branch or head office comes as part of Enhancement Pack 4 for FSCM. Is it possible the two systems you are looking at have different EHP levels or that the Business Functions from EHP4 are activated in one system and not the other?

FSCM SAP Collection management prerequisities
Does sbd know is any submodule of FSCM prerequisite to implement collection menagement? Or it can be separately implemented?
Also, is there any interface to collect data from different SAP systems?
Thanks
MayaHi,
1). You can implement only FSCM module alone. Its not mandatory to have Disputes Management or Credit Management. I have implemented Collections Management alone for one of my Customer.
2). Since IDES system is Demo system, alll modules and sub modules will be available as a standard set up. Dont think that we have to implement all sub modules to implement Collections Management
3). No Interface Required to implement Collections Management. Once you replicate the FI-AR customers into FSCM-Collections Management and do the collections management configuration, Automatically the data will be generated in Collections Management system also. So that you can verywell proceed with the Business Process..
Let me know if any concerns again... -

Problem during Creation of Worklist in Collections Management
Hi,
I get the following runtime error when I run the transaction UDM_GENWL:
Short text
The ABAP/4 Open SQL array insert results in duplicate database records.
What happened?
Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "CL_UDM_PARALLEL_RUN===========CP" had to be
terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
Error analysis
An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB', was not caught
in
procedure "SAVE_PARALLEL_RUN" "(METHOD)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING
clause.
Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
If you use an ABAP/4 Open SQL array insert to insert a record in
the database and that record already exists with the same key,
this results in a termination.
(With an ABAP/4 Open SQL single record insert in the same error
situation, processing does not terminate, but SY-SUBRC is set to 4.)
Any idea what this could be due to? Is this an errorin the standard program?
Thanks and Best Regards,
MadhuHi Mark,
I'm selected the checkbox "Start Online" in the selection screen for Generating Worklists. So, I believe I'm running it in the foreground. As for the selection screen parameters, here they are:
Collection Segment: TEST_SEG
Worklist Valid From: 10.10.2010
Distribute Items: Yes (Checkbox selected)
Distribution Method: Even Distribution to Collection Specialists
Start Online: Yes (Checkbox selected)
The master data and configuration have been made in the usual way for Collections Management as per the help documents.
I've created a customer via the Business Partner using the Master Data Synchronization.
Any idea what the issue could be?
Best Regards,

Dear All
We recently configured collection management. We already syncronized all the customer master with BP. Also assigned collection profile and collection specialist to business partner. We already transfered all the data from AR to Collection Management. Now when we try to display my worklist systme shows no data. Although when we transfered data from AR log shows that all the open items are transfered. Now only thing I am worried about is the collection strategy as I configured my own collection strategy. Can someone help me in this regard
ThanksFirst of all, make your strategy settings at a minimum rule. For example, accept all customer open items greater than 1 u20AC/$ and you will see if your AR integration has been properly done. And only if it is positive, you can improve your strategy...
Rgds,

Getting error when creating worklists for FSCM - Collections management
Hi All,
I am trying to implement FSCM - Collections Management and after all the configuration in SPRO and periodic processing in SAP easy access for transferring Accounts recievable, when I try to create Worklist i get the below error "No BP rules with BP role category UDM000 exists for partner 200"
I have created and assigned the BP role category UDM000 to my BP rule, yet i get this error. Is there anyway I can check the assignment of the rule.
Please help me with your thoughts in getting this error fixed.
Thanks & Regards,
AmeetThat's fine deep will take care
Ameet my final options are
1.As deep said check the validity of the BP @ BUT 100
2.Check your config settings one again completly
Cross-app components>master data sync>Synchronization control (check all the settings).
Cross-app components>master data sync>customer /vendor integration>bp settings>settings for cust int -->define BP role for direction cust to BP(check you have assigned the group to the role).
Cross-app components>master data sync>customer /vendor integration>bp settings>settings for cust int -->field assign for cust int >assign keys>define number assign from cust to bp (here check for the bp and cust group and same no fields).
3.If you are running the the worklist gen by batch please check for the overlaps and the sufficient no of jobs available for processing.
4.If your you are using ECC 6.3 or lesser version then apply the note 1134890
5. The error may be mis-leading because the program always through the same error if there may be some other issues - so debug the pgm
6. If every thing is fine above then write to SAP
Thank you.

Collection management FI correspondence
Hi Everyone,
In process receivables screen of collection worklist, we have an option to "Request FI correspondence". In this SAP provides only 7 standard correspondence types SAP06 SAP08 SAP10 SAP13 SAP14 SAP15 SAP16.
Is there a way to add additional correpondence request options ? Which BADi or BTE should I use to add these.
ThanksI would suggest you follow the instructions in the help for FI Correspondence for Collections Management
This is found in the function configuration
Use
The Request FI Correspondence function enables you to request
correspondence in Collections Management from the Process Receivables
view direct.
You can request the following correspondence:
Bank statement
Open item list
Individual correspondence (user text)
Customer statement (single statement)
Open items list with payment advice (single)
Open item list (association)
Open item list with payment advice (association)
The request for correspondence is noted in the customer contact.
With module FDM_COLL_CORR_PROCESS_00002310 you have an example
implementation of Process Interface
00002310 (Correspondence: Define output device). The implementation calls a
dialog in which the user can choose the output medium for the correspondence.
The decision is based on the contact data from the header data of the
receivables processing view.
If you do not use this example implementation, you can branch to the print
view or direct to printing when requesting correspondence.
If there is no print output, you have to output the correspondence using
transaction F.61.
Further notes
You can use the individual components of implementation
FDM_COLL_REQUEST_FICORR for separate implementations of BAdI
FDM_COLL_PR_FCODE:
FDM_COLL_CORRESPOND_REQUEST
This module determines the correspondence
offered in the system, and creates the entries in table BKORM.
FDM_COLL_CORRESPONDENCE_DISP
This module provides the elements for the
entry in the customer contact. -
Hi all gurus,
Can somenody tell me how many hours a single FI-consultant might have to spend to configure the complete Collection module? I am the only SAP resource at the client side with no ABAPer or any other FICO team. Neither do I have a MM consultant. Please guide me with the resources required to configure Collection management module.
Please be realistic guys as I have to mention it in a meeting to save my job.
Thank you,
SONYHi Sony.
OK to start with you wont need any MM resource.
In terms of the config, it can be pretty easy, but you need to consider how the client want to use the system?
Have you designed the Collections Org structure?
Do you know anything about Collections Management, from a SAP part of from a business process part.
The system is fairly open, so I would allow some time for ABAP as the process is held together by BADI's.
You also need to have a good understanding of the Business Partner processes, how they work, and how they interact with customers.
To give you an example of a Dispute and Collections Management project. We had around 60 days of FICO time, around 60 days of ABAP time, around 30 days of Workflow time.
This included the design of the system, the build of the system and the full three test cycles, Unit testing, Integration testing and User Acceptance testing.
This does not include the data migration, which you need to consider and the training.
I would suggest you contact a SAP PArtner consultancy to assist you. -
Collection Management Worklist
Dear All
We have configured the collection management in our test system and system was working fine. When we move configuration to QAS and do the testing there is no worklist created. Although we keep the same settings. We assign the collection profile and specialist to our business partner also
Please let us know what can be the problem.
Thanks and Best RegardsHi
My problem is solved. Actually I forgot to distribute the data to collection management. Now worklist is generated. Now I have only one issue that example I create the worklist and later I change the collection strategy and then run the worklist again. But system show the old worklist. How can the worklist be updated.
Thanks and Best Regards -
Hello,
The main purpose of this BADI is to send fi-ar data to FSCM.
The BADI FDM_COLL_SEND_ITEMS is active, so When we create a customer in XD01, we are able to see that in Business Partner Tcode BP.
Our business requiremet is to create two additional fields to the worklist for Collection Management. So we have used the method COMPLETE_DATA which is available in BADI FDM_COLL_SEND_ITEMS and populated additional fields which are required by the business.
We have to execute BADI to get two additional columns in the Collections worklist, but If i execute the BADI, i am getting the message that "BAdI FDM_COLL_SEND_ITEMS is active". If i dont keep the BADI Active, i cant get the A/R data to FSCM.
Please let me know what are the Pros and Cons If i setup "FDM_COLL_SEND_ITEMS" as a background job in my current scenario to get AR-DATA into FSCM (OR) Should i have to definitely setup "FDM_COLL_SEND_ITEMS" as an Background Job.
Please advice me how to proceed.
Thanks
RajanikanthRajnikanth,
Did you extend the BAdi to have additional fields sent to collections? for the fields to be available in the worklist i think there are two other BAdi's to be created. if you have figured out let me know as we are doing the same adding a couple of fields from the old credit management of SAP (FI-AR)
Thanks

Lion Server Profile Manager Configuration
Hi Guys,
Currently have been testing Lion Server and Profile Manager Configuration.
So Far Have setup
Lion with Server App and Server Admin Tools
Configured Open Directory Master and enabled SSL on LDAP
Once Configured OD has created a CA Certificate can use for Profile Manager
Have Enabled in Server.app Web and Profile manager
In SSL Certificate Configuration have set CA Certificate for Web and Enabled Apple push notifications with my apple ID
In Profile Manager Enabled Device Management and Enabled Sign configuration profiles and selected CA Open Directory Certificate Created when setting up OD Master.
On Server Originally could install Trust Profile OK and Enroll Server OK with no issues, but on any other 10.7 Devices could install Trust Profile OK but would always say unsigned and Enroll would never work or just hang.
Now Since Played around with settings on 10.7 Server can no longer enroll but trust OK.
Questions have is
For SSL and Profile Manager to work properly as well as Certificates do you require to purchase a proper SSL Certificate or can we use the OD Master Certificate that gets created. All we are testing is on the Local LAN so don't want to get a SSL certificate from the internet.
Also why cannot 10.7 clients trust profile and enroll Devices Properly? How do I get this working properly?
Any ideas?
Regards,
Shanetaubmas wrote:
Not sure if its that as finally got Lion Server working on a VM setup so network shouldn't be an issue...
Had 1 OSX Lion Server VM and 1 OSX Lion Client VM and OSX Lion Server VM gets profile and enrolls device fine but again OSX client doesn't get enroll just sits again at installing..... even if set keychain to trust and make trust profile verified..
any other ideas? I think need to somehow get the server to trust trust profile by default instead of going to keychain all the time.

Did you get this to work in an ESXI envrionment? If so, which version are you running?
