Hello everyone, So I was checking my credit score and I noticed a big drop on it. I checked why and it shows that an old debt it reporting again.. What happened is that I sent a PFD to a collection agency and ever since that, they started to report it again. I was hoping to PFD and settle it then waiting another 3 years. I was researching this and I found an interesting article that states: " The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) requires consumer reporting agencies (also called credit bureaus) to maintain an accurate file of your credit information. The FCRA limits the amount of time that negative information can appear on your credit report. Generally, a delinquent account can show up on your credit report for up to seven years from the time your first delinquent payment was originally due on the account. If a judgment was taken against you on the old debt, it may also be reported for up to seven years from the date of judgment. For more information, see Nolo's article How Long Does Negative Information Stay on a Credit Report? Some debt buyers try to get around this law by reporting an old debt as newer than it really is. But by lying about the age of the account is or the date of any delinquency, the debt buyer violates the FCRA. " What are your thoughts?

TS1717 All my music stops before the end of the tune; whether bought through Itunes library or if loaded from my own personal collection. This has only happened when i changed computer.

Hard to tell and remember whether it's happening just to pre-itunes plus music. However, it's happening to many songs ripped from my personal CD collection. With 10,000+ songs transferred from my own CD's I'm not high on re-ripping the entire collection.
This seems to have happened in the past 6-12 months and can't help but wonder if one of the upgrades to iTunes somehow corrupted some file or meta data that is causing this effect.

Best collection for this purpose

i am developing a system which have messaging as the main goal .different clients from remote locations have to send messages(byte array) to an MDB .But my problem is i cant control this messaging system as lot of messages have to be processed by the MDB. So i want a good collection procedure to collect the messages and there by process the messages one by one,.Can any one tell me which collection class is suitable for this or any other ideas. Decision procedure:
(a) do you need a separate unique key to access the data? If so, use some form of Map. Otherwise
(b) do you need uniqueness within the collection? If so, use some form of Set, otherwise some form of List or Queue.
(c) If you need a Map or Set, do you need ordering? If so use a sorted Map/Set/List (TreeMap/TreeSet), otherwise a hashed Map/Set/(HashMap/HashSet). OR
(d) if you need a List, do you need random access to inner elements? If so use an ArrayList, otherwise a LinkedList. If you only need access to the front and rear of the list consider a Queue.

Import computer and add to multiple collections - is this possible ?

Looking for a way to import computers into SCCM and make them a member of other collections also.
Why ?
We wish to deploy applications during a task sequence based on collection variables, but the thing is we have sub departmewnts that may have other variables set up for software deployment, this is fine if the computer is 'known' and already a member of the
collection, if the computer is unknown then it wont be a member of any other collection until it has run its hardware inventory etc and added to collections based on its queries.
So my question - how do i add or include and unknown computer so its asscociated with other collections ?

Importing a computer basically just creates a manual machine entry and a direct membership rule for the target collection. That's it.
So you can't add it to two collections used that mechanism. That's either a manual work (adding another direct membership rule for the other collection) or automatic (using a dynamic collection that uses e.g. the first 3 letters of the computername etc)

Percentile in a collection. This should be easy but....

I want to find the 80th percentile in the list of numbers in a collection.
I have loaded data into a nested table:
Type type_NumTable is TABLE OF Number;
tbl_LocalScores type_numTable := type_numTable();
I thought I could use Table() to accomplish this; however, the following comand

gives me an error of

We would probably get in more trouble for trying to predict what Apple is going to do in the future, where on this site speculation is specifically prohibited, than you will enabling half star ratings. I don't know the legal ruling on it but I suspect if Apple really, really didn't want it done then it would be written into the basic coding where you wouldn't find it.

Collection agency illegally added collection to report?

Just found this today after re newing my monthly subscription here. Here is the story. A girl i know had a collection with this collection agency. She ask me to help her out so i told her i would pay the collection for her. This collection is totally hers 100% in her name etc. So i call in to the collection agency and pay the collection for her on my debit card. This collection was in no way associated with me or has never been on my credit report and never was in my name or associated to my name. So guess what happens next?? Few days after i pay it for her it shows up on MY credit report as a paid collection! **bleep**? I will call them first thing this morning and demand they call Experian to remove asap but what else should i do? This has to be illegal i would think.

its with experian. I had applied for credit for something and was denied because of a collection account or public record and i was like huh? i dont think so. So i came back on here and there it was. I called the collection agency and spoke to a lady who said we understand it should have never been on there and we have requested three times to have it deleted but it hasnt. So i called experian right after and that lady says they havent received any request for deletion so she has started a dispute and is going to reach out to them. I have requested from the collection agency something in email saying it should be deleted so i can upload it to experian but i already know i will be locked down for 30 days probably while i wait this bs out!

New Collection from links/images in current document - is this possible?

Our team includes PC and Mac users.
We have CS5.5 - InDesign v7.5.3
I'm currently running Win7
This might be a post for the Bridge forum, but since we want the workflow to begin with InDesign...
I did try searching here, there, and within Exchange forums.
What we'd like to be able to do is open a document in InDesign that has dozens of links, and by some magical autmotaed (or even manual) process, be able to create a collection - not a snippet - of the linked files. I've tried several ways to get this to happen both from within ID and Bridge, no luck.
Is there a way?
Maybe a script?

Thanks for the quick reply. I don't want to package or export linked images using the "Copy Links to..." option from the links panel. What either of those options would do would in fact create copies of the images.
Instead, I want to maintain their original locations, maintain links, etc..
So, by the term "collection" in my question what I meant to say is a Bridge Collection (as seen in Bridge or in the Mini Bridge panel). I want to generate such a collection from the items I choose that already are placed within an InDesign document. I've attempted selecting from the Links Panel in ID, selecting from the document itself and dragging in to a pre-existing collection, but this seems to only result in an InDesign Snippet file. I checked contextual menus and panel menus. I also tried the drag operation with various modifier keys just hoping. No luck.
I'm thinking there should be a script or plugin for this... but alas have not found it.

What do you mean "in most cases"? I assume you don't
mean that most methods in any java program should be
static, Of course not... please actually read the context of my post. "in most cases" where the code is similar to what the OP posted, a static method would probably be appropriate. In code where you are creating a new instance of a class for the sole purpose of calling a method and not retaining a reference to it, it should probably be a static method. Look at the OP's code:

}Notice that the OP does not keep a reference to the object, simply calling a method and leaving it at that. I am saying that in this situation, it would probably be more appropriate to do the following:

David, this is about understanding the use of, and differencies between tags and collections. This is a bit hard for many new users.
First of all searching for collections and tags can *not* be done simultaneously. You can either work with one collection only, or you can search for pictures with one or more tags.
Next collections should be used as either temporary work sets or for special occasions like specific vacations, trips or birthdays, e.g. "Anna 5 years". You say you have a collection named "Churches". I think would have made a TAG called "Churches" instead, because a tag is for general searches that can be combined. On the other hand I might have made a collection called "Church visits July 2005" or "Summer vacation 2005" or the like.
Another difference is that pictures in a collection can be sorted manually by drag & drop, while pictures found via tags always are shown in the order chosen in the Photo Browser Arrangement box shown bottom left in the Organizer.

Custom Report Syntax - Prompt for limiting collection

I'm building a customer report that will display maintenance windows for multiple devices. I'd like to be able to filter the number of devices reported by collection (as to not have EVERY device in the console listed all at once).
I've got the report working for everything except the filtering part. Do I need to add a new Dataset and then filter it somehow? Here's my only dataset so far:
FIELDS: Computername, CollectionName, Next_Maintenance_Window

Create a new dataset and paste in the following Query:

Insert the following code in your own Query (dataset) right before order by Computername

Expand Parameters in Report Builder, you should see a paramter called @CollID
Right-click CollID and fill in the following information on the general page:
Name: CollID
Prompt: Collection
On the Available Values select Get values from a query
Dataset: Dataset2 (the new dataset you just created)
value field: Name
Label field: Name
Design your layout in report builder and run the report. You will get a drop-down box with all your device collections.
This report is not "RBAC" enabled

Patch compliance report for all machines in collection

Good day to all,
We are trying to create a report in SCCM 2012 that will show us all missing updates on all computers in collection. But we would like to display in this report only patches which are really targeted to the machines in collection. Let me explain.
We have multiple deployment groups for patching (OSD, Servers, Client, Test waves...) and current issue we have with all build in reports is that you have to either select one of these deployments and then select a collections - but this will give you only
status for current group of patches, for another one you have to select different one. And if there is a report where you have to select only collection the it will show all updates which are in deployment (this is not nice as for OSD we are putting some extra
patches to the image and then these patches are shown as missing on all machines - but they will stay that way as we are not deploying them...yet). The ideal report for us will be to select the collection and then show all missing patches that are targeted
to that collection. This was accomplished by this query:

However, if we would like to add more columns, like Reboot Pending, Failed, Installed, Not Needed... then the report will start to show incorrect data, e.g. for machine which is fully patched and according to "Programs and Features - Show installed
updates" have 235 patches installed it will show only 198 patches installed and 10 missing.
It have something to do with JOINs between tables but we are at the end of ideas how to proceed further (we already checked the official documentation for SQL tables in new SCCM).
Have any of you created a report like this? I tried to Bing/Google for hours but most of the reports are for SCCM 2007 and showing incorrect data.

Almost all SU reports created for CM07, still apply to CM12.

Collection strategy not picking up BP

Hi,
I have set up the business partner and linked it to the FI customer. This customer has open items to the value of u20AC2.1 million. I also set up the collection strategy and set it up to pick up amount to be collected of >u20AC2000.
However when i try to simulate the collection stragey i get the following message - no open items found (UDM_BUPA_TRANS_DATA150). as a result nothing is appearing in the worklists.
can anyone help with this?

In addiiton to wat ravi has mentioned check the date onw hcih worklist is being created and whether it satisfies the collection sstartegy , this you can check it by using simulation of the collection strategy before the creation of worklist .
