Collections not showing

I'm running Lightroom 2.2 on Win XP Pro. I've had a multitude of problems since updating to this version, least of all is the already well-documented issue with not being able to edit RAW files in CS3. I've applied the work-around for that.
My current issue is more significant. I am unable to see any of the collections I create. They seem to create OK, as they are selectable in Set and Collection choice dialogs, but they do not view on the main Lightroom tab. When I click on the toggle the drop down list looks like it opens, but the list is empty.
This is the case whether I create new Collections from scratch, or try to create Collections from out of Quick Collections.
Any help out there? I've logged a bug report with Adobe, but no replies yet.

Those are defined in the catalog file. Unfortunately, you can not easily search on them. You can search using whether a file is in a certain collection using the smart collection feature.
For your problem, it sounds like what you should do is start a new catalog and NOT import your old catalog file. There is probably something wrong there that will eventually end up corrupting your new catalog file when you import from it. An alternative is to try to export a catalog from your old catalog file and to import from that into a new catalog file or try to use the exported catalog file. Also, I would be worried about your disk drive. Such corruption can also be caused by a hard disk that is starting to fail.

Some Site Collection not showing up (even the system pages) after upgrade

Following http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc263299.aspx I just did database upgrade from 2010 to 2013. Some of the site collections are not showing up. These are basic site collection with almost no custom code. Just bunch of list and libraries.

Yes , you need to proceed to change the authentication mode . According to your error message “Non-OAuth request. IsAuthenticated=True, UserIdentityName=, ClaimsCount=0” and “UserAgent not available, file
operations may not be optimized”, all of them can be caused by the authenticate. So make sure you have upgraded cleanly and effectively to Claims Based Authentication.

Collection not showing correct machines

We have 12 Dell Wyse Thin Clients in our environment. We have named each TCxxxxxx. When I look in the All Systems collection I type TC in the search windows and I see all 12 machines.
I then created a new collection. Here is my query logic for the collection.

Do all those devices have a clients installed and run a successful inventory?
You are using a combination of SMS_R_System and SMS_G_System. The first one contains discovery data of all discovered objects and the second one contains inventory data of real clients (see also:

Photos in collections not showing up when viewed from a higher level

I am using Lightroom 3.2 and have many collections and collection sets. Recently I moved a bunch of my collection sets inside another collection set to better organize things, but when I did the images in the moved collections no longer show up when I view their imediate-parent collection set. When I select the collection set it says "No photos in selected collection", but when I select the individual collections inside it, the photos show up. Also, if I un-move (not undo, just move back) the collection set it shows the photos that are in its collections as it should.
Has anyone else had this problem? Am I missing a preference somewhere? Is there a bug in Lightroom?

I'm having the exact same problem in 3.3.
To check it out, I created new collection sets and moved things around, and then the missing pictures reappeared ...
Nothing for it but to go and work out just where all of the problems are and fix them all by hand, while hoping that the same issue won't follow me around messing up the new collection sets I create ... oh, the joys of flaky computer s/w
If anyone knows of a way to address this, I'd REALLY like to know

Windows 8.1 laptop computer not showing in SCCM 2012 devices collection

Hi,
I am trying to do a POC on license management from SCCM 2012. I have configures a SCCM 2012 server and intune subscription also. I have Android, iOS and desktop apps uploaded (.msi). when I enrolled android and ios devices its shows up in SCCM,
devices collection but do not show in Intune.
my company portal is nicely coming up on android and iOS tabs. on the other hand company portal showing only Web apps, on a win8.1/7 laptop.
When I tried to enroll 2 windows 8.1/ 7 laptop (intel x86), they donot show up in SCCM. clients of intune manually installed, endpoint protection of SCCM installed also on both boxes.
I tried updating membership in SCCM for both know and unknown type, many time and also triggered Deployment of some desktop app, to the win 8.1 laptops. the desktops are showing in Intune All devices -> all computers nicely. But
not in SCCM2012.
what did I missed, I tried to add all the logical roles. below is some details what shows up in Intune:

If you installed the Intune agents on the Win 8.1 and Win 7 systems, then they will never show up in ConfigMgr.
There are basically two parts of Intune -- a Mobile Device Management piece and a Windows management piece. The Intune connector in ConfigMgr takes over the MDM piece and nothing more. When ConfigMgr takes over this MDM piece, as Torsten said, all MDM devices
enrolled show up in ConfigMgr and not Intune because that's now controlled by ConfigMgr. The Windows management piece remains unchanged and separate though and so those systems will be directly managed by Intune only or ConfigMgr only.
So you have three options there:
- Install the ConfigMgr agent and managed using COnfigMgr
- Install the Intune agent and manage using Intune
- Enroll the systems using OMA-DM which manages them as if they were devices. This means so you don't get SCEP or Windows Updates or most of the other ConfigMgr functionality. This is only valid for Win 8.1 though.

Machines not showing up in AD group based collections in CM 2012

I am facing a wired issue, with collection based on AD group. We have added multiple machines to a AD security group. All these machines are already discovered in CM12. AD group has been added in AD group discovery & we a collection is created based
on this particular AD group. The issue is that there are few machines which are not showing up in AD group collection.I have tried to manually update collection membership, run full discovery : AD system discovery & AD group discovery. When i check that
machines properties in SCCM console the specified AD Group is not showing there. Not sure how do i proceed further.

After inserting a value in the collection and submitting, the record with the value is submitted to the database.
But my collection does not show the value, how can i have my collection to show the values inserted/updated?

PCs not showing in Collection/Queries Config Manager 2012 R2 - Direct Rule

Hello,
I have been creating some collections and queries using a direct rule or manual entry of the device and the PC is not showing in the collection.
Example: Created collection for a .NET 4.5.2 install that I rolled out. Manually added the devices that need the application and of the 40 PCs 2 or 3 will not appear in the collection, thus they are not getting the software push. The PCs
that are not showing up are pinging able and I can RDP into them just fine. Config Manager shows they have the Client, are active and getting policy requests.
I thought maybe it there was an issue with the collection I was creating but I tried adding the same PCs to other collections and they do not appear in those collections either.
I did a manual query as well with the same results, the same PCs I try to add to the collections are not showing in my query even though they are hard coded in.

I deleted the collection for our "Insurance Department" which the suspect PCs were in. I no longer needed the Insurance collection so I deleted that just to see if that was limiting the .NET collection. Now those PCs are showing in
the ".NET 4.5.2" collection.
That is good and everything but going forward I will need to have a collection for the "Insurance Department" that will be based on a query that looks for our Insurance Application in Installed Applications64. How can I prevent this new collection
from limiting any PC in that collection from being put into other Software Install collections?

Virtual copy in a smart collection does not show up in that collection

LR5; When I make a virtual copy in a smart collection it does not show up in that collection but in the original folder...
All of the metadata and custom fields are identical....

The screenshot was very helpful. The problem is with the Custom 05 custom metadata field. Which plugin defined that?
It appears that smart collections don't properly search the custom metadata fields of virtual copies. I filed a bug report in the official Adobe feedback forum: Lightroom: Smart collections don't correctly search custom metadata fields.
You could work around this by using a filter preset in the Library Filter bar. Perhaps not as convenient, but it would get the job done.

SharePoint 2010 designer workflow assoicated tasklist not showing columns added by collect data

Hi,
We had a SharePoint designer workflow in production. This is a reusable workflow, and this workflow uses collect data action to get some of data from users. Through collect data action, we added 7 columns(default task list), which have been used in logging,
email template and other places in the rest of the workflow.
Suddenly we find all the references to task columns(added through collect data), are not showing up in the workflow. If we try to add those collect data columns, it is not showing in "Field from Source" field as shown below.
Here Association Tasklist field are not showing.
If we again try to select columns, we find that all the columns that we added through collect data
no longer visible in associated task list.
Please help.

Please can you confirm which version of Outlook your users have (and if they are all on the same version)? All my none 2007 users lack the Edit Item button, and have to use the links in the body of the email, which I believe is simply due to the fact that
2003 et al lacks the same SharePoint integration options as 2007.

Selecting Clips, adding keyword, selected clip not showing up in keyword collection

I am having issues while editing a soccer game for a highlight reel. I have done this many times without issue, but with one project, for certain keyword selections, it is not showing up. I am selecting a clip from a longer piece of game footage, then hitting command-k to open the keyword collection shortcut interface. I'm inputting the keyword into it and hitting return. It makes the sound like the clip has been marked as a key word, but when I go into the keyword collection in the event history, the clip is not showing up. Again, this is only occuring in one project and hasn't been an issue in the 10 other similar projects I've done. Any thoughts? Is there any way to fix this recoding the entire game? Thanks.

There shouldn't be any sound, just the animation and the blue bar. Are you getting that? Make sure there is nothing in the search field in the browser. Try trashing prefs.

Thumbnail on Provider Page not showing up for a new collection

Hello:
The new MacLearning collection: iTunes U Munich Conference http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=445693522 has a thumbnail when you go to the collection page. However, this collection is currently featured on Duke's Provider Page under the "What's New" section http://itunes.apple.com/us/institution/duke-university/id420416991 and the thumbnail is not showing up for that collection. How can we get that thumbnail to show up on our Provider Page? Why is it not showing up?

Certain PR is not showing in collective release ME55.

Dear Experts
My clients is experiencing one issue at the time of collective release of PR using T. Code ME55. Certain PR is not showing at the time of executing with giving required input Release group and release code, however if the execution is done by giving input Release group, release code and Purchase Requisition the same document is showing. can any one tell me the possible reason for the same. Why the PR is not displaying for release using release code and release group in ME55.
Below Investigation has been done.
1. For single line item single PR is created through PS route using T.Code CJ20N.
2. Account assignment for the PR is "Q" Project Make to Order.
3. Line item not deleted for the same PR.
4. Status showing as 03 In Release (In Status tab).
5. in "Quantities/Dates" tab Closed check box in not activated.

By default system is taking "Sort Indicator 1" Sorting by Purchase requisition number & item. with the combination of Release Code & Release Group.
I have tried with giving input Release Code, Release Group & Purchase Requisition Number
10032658 & 10034951after executing the sysem is showing Only one PR Number i.e 10032658 with 2 line item.
Here system is showing duplicate entry for PR. 10032658 of the first line item and ignoring to display the 10034951 details.
Final conclusion is that, system is not showing last PR Number. Instead of that 2nd last PR is displaying with duplicate entry.Please see the screenshot.

Collection art not showing for CUNY

Hi,
We (The City University of New York) updated to the PSM a couple of weeks ago and after we did the artwork for collections hosted on our servers stopped appearing. Then after about a week, one of those collections started showing art but not the others. We are using Wordpress with the Blubrry PowerPress plug-in to generate the RSS. The collections with the broken image are showing a default Wordpress image.
We've published new material in each collection and all but one of the collections had updated content, but the image remained broken. One of the collections won't update at all. (links provided below)
Anyone know how to fix this?

We've examined the source feed and can see that the image associated with the feed was not being displayed within to the collection.
If the image url did not change but the file was updated, within iTunes U Public Site Manager -> Collections choose the collection in question and go the "Collection Page Configuration" page and in the toolbar along the top select "Update Collection". This will force the iTunes U systems to update the feed and in this case re-capture the collection artwork from the associated image URL.

Installed Lightroom cc. photos do not show in develop module. blue rectangle & white cross is all that shows in edit area. photos show in library and icons in develop collection and in navigator not in edit area.

Just installed Lightroom CC. Catalogue updated. Photos appear in library module and can be selected. When I switch to the Develop Module I can see and select photos from the collection icons but they appear as a blue rectangle & white cross on the edit area. The file name is displayed over the blue rectangle but the photo does not show.

I have the same problem,all I can see in develop module is a blue rectangle with two crossed white lines..
