Collective orders-Mrp is not considering partial orders in planning.

We are using collective orders,Backflush for goods issue. The order below the main order is partially confirmed(child order).
The order qty is 100.The child order is confirmed for 75.i.e: it is partially confirmed.
But the main order is confirmed and delivered for 100 and the status is REL  CNF  DLV  PRC  CFCO GMCO GMPS MACM.
Help

I want to explain this more clearly.
we are using collective orders and planning strategy 10.
Say we need 1 roh to produce 1 halb
and need 1 halb to produce 1 fert.
target qty =100 say
MRP run
Production order qty for fert 100
production order qty for halb 100
purchase req qty for roh 100
say GR for roh qty 50
we confirmed qty of halb = 50 i.e:partially confirmed
Now went to fert order and will be able to confirm 50.But this is not happening.User is able to confirm 100.
we should be able to confirm only 50 since we have halb=50.
How to restrict this.he should be able to confirm fert qty 50 since confirmed  halb qty is 50.
Could  you please tell me what config setting i should do and where.
thanks

  • MRP not considering Process orders

    Hello Gurus,
My pl.ind.req is 100 and I run MRP , system creates planned order for 100. When I convert this process order, the available qty in MD04 is blank. Then When I run MRP again, its creating new planned order for 100. I am thinking its every basic setting somewhere. Please help

    Hello,
I resolved the issue, immediately after I posted yesterday. The issue was that on the Goods receipt tab in process orders, "Goods Receipt, Non Valuated" was checked and "Goods Receipt" wasn't. Once I checked that everything was OK. Since the GR from process order was marked as Non-valuated, MRP was not considering it. I think this is a finance setting. Will take it up with the finance guys. Thanks

  • Production order and planned order qty should not consider in MRP

    Dear All,
i do not want to consider the previous month production order qty and plenned order qty (Nothing but WIP qty) in the current momth MRP, but the stock has to consider in MRP.
    Example,
    Before MRP,
    material : XYZ
    Stock : 1000
    Prod Qty : 500 for 02.04.2008
    PIR Qty : 2000 for 02.05.2008
After MRP, the requirement should be as below said,
    material : XYZ
    Stock : 1000
    Prod Qty : 500 for 02.04.2008
    PIR Qty : 2000 for 02.05.2008
    Pld OrdQty : 1000 for 02.05.2008
For the above requirement ,i have done settings in the availabilty check like , for include planned order and include production order are "DO NOT TAKE IN ACCOUNT".
Even then also the planned order qty is generating for the "500" only.
please give the solution for the above said requirement.
    thanx in advance
    Regards
    Srinivas

    hi
MRP will always consider the prod order qty while doing nert req calculation. One thing u can do is TECo the prod orders and un MRP then it wont consider prod order qty.
The Availability check will check whether the components r avalaible or not based on ur scope of check

  • Bop is not considering a Order type

    Srs,
When I create a Sales Order via VA01 the AVC is doing well at APO side for 4 Orders Types and its consuming the quota.
I run BOP everyday to confirm the Sales Orders that had not confirmed the Qty during the Sales order creation.
So ...the BOP is only considering 1 one Order Type. In the Selection Profile the 4 types are being filtered... I really didn't find the reason.
Are there some wrong configuration or fault?

    Hi,
May I know if the question still exists or not? If so, please reply it. Thanks a lot.

  • MRP doesn't consider PM Orders and reservation

    Hi experts.
I've a prob. When MRP runs the purchase requisiton is created  with the quantity based in reorder-point and min. lot size, doesn't matter manual reservations or pm order reservation. The material has mrp at storage location level.
    E.G.
    SCENARIO #1
    Material A
I Tried the MRP types: VB, VM, VV, ND.

    Safety stock 2un
    Actual Stock at sLoc 3.

What mrp settings must be done?
    Thanks for any help.
    Regards.
    Paulo Afonso Cordeiro.

    Hi,
You can control the behaviour of the system via settings of the MRP type.
SPRO > Production > MRP > Master Data > Check MRP Types
This should be set for the MRP type you use:
    V438A-ICBED = "2"
On "Additional External Requirements in reporder point planning" tab you can set which requirements shoudl be considered. As default manual reservations and SOs are considered by system as per SAP online help:
    http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/EN/37/8bbbd26a8111d3b4ed0004ac160649/frameset.htm
For PM orders you should mark check-box V438A-A2BED. Please try it...

  • Capacity Evaluation: CM01 does not consider partially confirmed Prod Ord

    Dear Gurus,
I was doing a test for CM01 and I found out that the Production Order with partial confirmation/delivery is still being considered as a full quantity in CM01 pegged requirements. For example is below:
    Prod Ord Qty is: 1500
    Partial Confirmation made: 500
Now in CM01 it still shows 1500, I thought it should only be 1000. Reason is this order is backlog from last week thus I only want the system to consider the 1000 open quantity and not the whole 1500. Is it achievable in CM01?
    Thanks,
    Raymond

    Hi,
but this Production Order is still open with 1000 PC. I will still need to process the 1000 remaining quantity out of 1500 and in CM01 I would like it to show on 1000 PC instead of 1500 PC.
Another thing is for example, Im on the middle of the week, my available capacity is reduced and I also have already partially confirmed the production order. Then when I execute CM01, it will show capacity overload eventhough the open quantity is also decreased.
So my concern is instead of Production Order Base Quantity, can the system check the production Order Open Quantity?
    Thanks,
    Raymond

  • Purchase Order quantity must not Exceed Sales Order quantity

    Dear Experts
My requirement is when i am creating PO in me21n and taking Document type as Domestic PO and giving account assignmnet as "C" Sales Order, must have to enter Material and quantity and must have to Give Sales Order number and item no in account assignmnet tab , the quantity i am entering in PO must not exceed my Sales Order quantity that is my requirement.
    Regards
    Abi

    Hi,
You do not create a PO with reference to sales order. In PO you enter sales order number for reference. A purchase requsition can be created directly from Sales order or through MRP depending on the system settings. Then this PR can be converted to PO. here you can restrict the quantity. As in order to change the quantity in PR also you will have to change the quantity in sales order.
    Regards

  • After PR convert to PO, MRP does not consider PO as the supply

    Hi gurus,
The problem is like the following:
    Material A, Plant : CN01 Procurement type: F ( External procurement)
Avability check group-- 002( standard one )
MRP type -- PD( standard one)
    Requirement-- 100 PC.
    What I did is :
    1) Run MD02 ( MRP) to generate a PR with qty 100
    2) Convert this PR to PO with qty 100.
    3) Re-run MRP for this material, system generate another PR with qty 100 on the same date.
Which will lead to duplicate stock.
    Please help on this question.
    Thanks a lot.

    Hi Guys,
I am sorry, I am not quite understand it.
In my understanding, if I tick " stock transfer order" in OPPQ, system will take the incoming STO as the supply, not the requirement.
    MD04 is showing:   Plant CN01
                                                    Rec/reqd                    Avaible qty       Delivery plant
    Stock                                                                         0
    POitem                                     1000                          1000
    PR                                            1000                          2000
    PRqRel                                      -1000                        1000                 CN02
So what I am saying is the requirement---- PRqRel is a STO requirement.
After i tick the box as you mentioned, MRP still does not delete the PR using parameter 13132.
Please correct me if you have any concern.

  • Sales Order quantity Must not exceed Purchase order quantity

    Dear Experts,
My requirement is when i am creating a Purchase order giving referenece as Sales Order .. system must not allow the user to enter  more than Sales order quantity.
    Ex : Sales Order 1234
            Material : AAAA
            Quantity : 100
while creating a Purchase order for Mat AAAA giving  reference of Sales order i.e 1234 and quantity 150 system must not allow user to enter more than sales order quantity . If user wants to create PO for 150 he must have to ammend the sales order from 100 to 150  is it possible.
    Kindly do the needful
    Regards
    abhi

    Dear Abhinav,
First of all, Purchase Order will get created with reference to Purchase requisition (T. Code: VOV7 --> Item Cat.: TAS --> Tab: Transaction Flow --> Field: Automatic PO Creation), and not with reference to Sales Order.
This is Purchase requisition, which gets created with reference to Sales Order; based upon settings in:
    T. Code: VOV6 --> Schd. Line Cat.: CS
    Order Type            NB    Purchase Requisition
    Item Category         5     Third-party
Acct Assgt Cat.       X     All aux.acct.assgts.
Now, coming to your requirement (based up on my inputs),
My requirement is when i am creating a Purchase order giving referenece as Sales Order .. system must not allow the user to enter more than Sales order quantity.
To Restrict Purchase requisition quantity in PO, then in T. Code: OMCQ
Or, Path: SPRO > img > MM > Purchasing > Environment Data > Define Attributes of System Messages
    Here make following messages as Error;
06 076 Materials of requisition & item & alr. ordered in full
06 254 Order quantity greater than requisition quantity
Now,  in Purchase Requisition, if it is created for 100 qty (with ref. to Sales Order) and if you adopt the same in Purchase Order and try to change the qty to 150, then system will not allow you change and throws the error.
    Best Regards,

  • Validity of exchange rates are not considered in APO DP planning books

    Dear SAP Gurus
There are couple of posts on this topic without any conclusive reply and so I am posting this again.
We plan and manage data in multiple currencies and wish to maintain the same in APO DP. We have defined an exchange rate type in the planning area  which is used for planning purposes. Please note that we have defined only one planning area  for all global products hence data is stored in one currency only.Exchange rates between different currencies for this exchange rate type are maintained in ECC and then transferred to APO via RSA1 using standard functionality. While exchange rates are maintained with validity (valid from date) in this table, APO DP planning books only consider latest exchange rates. This behaviour changes the data in the planning book every time there is a change in the exchange rates and is a complete nonsense.
I believe there is a macro function CURR_CONV_FACTOR() which can be used to bring exchange rates as key figures in the planning book based on validity but given that this macro works only between 2 exchange rates and we use 10 different currencies, its not feasible to use this macro function for all combinations.
Is there any other way to have exchange rates based on validity ? Does SAP has any guidelines / best practice on how to handle multiple currency scenarios in DP.
    We are on APO V5.1.
    Thanks
    Zorba

    Dear Nitish
    Thanks for the message.
Unfortunately your observation is not correct. If you change an exchange rate with future validity,
currency data in the entire horizon (past and future) adopts to that exchange rate.
It doesn't matter whether KF is ready for input or not as data is stored in any one currency only in PA and conversion happen only when you change the currency in the planning book (column 0)
Do some more testing and you will notice the above behaviour.
btw, which version of SCM are you on ?
    Cheers
    Zorba, the Budha

  • Sales Order is not consider for MRP in MRP Type PD and Strategy 40

Sales Order quantity is not consider for net requirement calculating in MRP.
My MRP Type is PD and Strategy 40.
Also in MD04 Sales order is not appearing.

    Dear,
Requirements to MD04 will flow based on the settings you maintain in OVZ9 for the combination of "Availability Check" and "Checking Rule". Here whatever fields you choose under the tab "In/outward movements", that will be considered.
It may be because of Requirement type Missing at schedule line category level . In MD04 requirement are pass on Either Individually or collectively . In Case of Individual each schedule line create one entry in MD04 ( Stock Requirement list)
So check the materail master for checking group is maintain or not?
    Please refer this thread also,
Re: Sale order not reflecting in MD04
After that run MRP again and check the result.
