Dear Gurus,
I have a requirement for my client that when i select a range of GR's in smart from using selection screen,the print should come continously with a single print command.The printing should come continously with a single print command without any break.

Problem in Collective Printing of Kanban

Hi all
When the user tries to execute the T- code ZPK17 (Collective Print of Kanban) to print the barcode, the barcode gun not recognize it any where ( not only in the SAP).
The user tried to print in other printer and with different sheet of paper it did not work .
Please guide on what coule be the reason and please suggest corrective action. Thanking you.

Collective printing of excise invoices

hi,
using the tcode : j1ip you can print the single excise invoice, by selecting it.
but for every document you have to click the print button frequently as per the no. of documents.
pls help me to configure the printout of collective excise invoices.

For information, in j1ip itself, you have the option of giving multiple excise invoices. Assume you have some 30 excise invoices to be printed out from sl.no.1 to 30, in j1ip, against the field "Excise Invoice", in the first box enter 1 next to "to" tab, enter 30. If you execute now, you will get bulk print outs.
Alternatively, you can also select the "Excise Invoice Date" field where also you define "From - To" date.

IW38 collective printing of WO

Hi,
I have a requirement where user selects more than one work order from the list in IW38 transaction and then selects Order-->Print.
Now the system is showing the "select shop papers" screen for every order but this is tedious to do when we have more than 100 orders.
Is there a way to supress the select shop paper window so that the user selects the shop paper only once and all the selected Work Orders are printed? Is there any other way (coding/customization) that this could be achieved?

IW38 collective printing of WO (supress the print dialog)

Hi,
I have a requirement where user selects more than one PM order on list of IW38 and then selects Order-->Print.
Now the system is showing the print dialog for every order but this is tedious to do when we have more than 100 orders.
Is there a way to supress the print dialog? I browsed through SDN and found that by changing the user setting this could be achieved. But is there any other way (coding/customization) that this could be achieved?

The behavior is in a hard coded and so intended, for example:
LCOIHFBJ, form PRINT_ORDER_F55
if sy-calld is initial
    or sy-tcode ne 'IW3D'.
*... call popup for papers not from IW38 and return PRINT_MODE and RC
    PERFORM SET_WORKPAPERS_F55 USING SPACE PRINT_VIEW RCODE.

    PERFORM SET_WORKPAPERS_F55 USING yx PRINT_VIEW RCODE.

The behavior can be changed only from a modification.

GR Collective slip Print out

Hi,
When user was making GR with multiple line itmes and he selected Collective print out option to print GR Note. But still only one line items get printed not all the line item. What will be the problem

check have u maintain WE03 as output type
In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Output Determination->Maintain Output Types, for the Output types WE01, WE02 and WE03, also ensure the foll:
a. Default Values: Dispatch Time is 3 or 4 as per reqmt. and Tr medium is 1
b. Print Parameter is 7
Then Go to MN21, for output type WE03 select Tr Type WE, Print Version 3, maintain Print Item as 1.
Now Go to MB90 select out put type as WE03 trns. medium as 1 and take printout

Print of GR document - Collective

Hi,
I have posted a GR document through MIGO mvt type: 101. The GR document has multiple line item.
While posting I have selected collective slip, but when i try to print the document through MB90, I still get seprate print for every line item.
I wanted collective print, i.e. one print with all the line item.
I am using the standard setting
Output tyep: WE01
Program: SAPM07DR
FORM Routine: ENTRY_WE01
Form: WESCHEINVERS1
Please note that the output WE01 is determined in MB90 but with printing each line item seperately.

1. Maintain the Printer Name in SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Printer Setting
2. Ensure that in SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Item Print Indicator, 1 stands for Matl Doc print out
3. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Print Version, maintain Print Version 2
4. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Maintain Print Indicator for GI/Transfer Posting Documents
5. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Output Determination->Maintain Output Types, for the Output types WE01, WE02 and WE03, ensure the foll:

Run MB02 transaction, enter material document number. Double click one line item and select messages. Separate screen will be opened to configure outputs. Give the required fields and save the document. Now Run MB90, you can take printout. Output Type: WE03 - Collective slip

You have to add the requirements in the print out form - smart form with the help of ABAPer. You can find this smat form in T code NACE - slect ME Invenotry management - Output type - WE03 - Go to processing routines - form name.

Eventing and Print Jobs

Hey all! I am attempting to write a script that will collect information about print jobs on a print server and write the data to a database. I am trying to get data on print job owner, printer name, whether it was color or grayscale, number of pages and
number of copies.
I am running into a problem finding a method to collect events for print jobs. I have attempted to subscribe to creation and modification events of the Win32_PrintJob class, which is ok but doesn't seem very accurate about details like pages printed
and color/grayscale. I next attempted to respond to these events by using Get-WinEvent each time the event fires and then using the JobId property of the event to scan the PrintService log for matching 307 and 805 events. However, I have found that the Win32_PrintJob
JobId does not seem to match the document id in the event log entries.
I scrapped that idea and instead attempted to collect .NET events for the NTEventLog class but this only seems to work with the traditional logs such as system, security and application.
I suppose I could just scan the event logs on a regular basis and collect print job information that way, but I was really looking to collect and log this info in real time rather than just looping every so often. Has anyone else tried eventing for any of
these classes? Is it possible there is another .NET class I could subscribe to that would provide me with details of incoming print jobs? Am I going about this entirely the wrong way?

Help please it is a printing problem through airport express from pc

Sorry I'm new on here too but I didn't get help with my last problem at all but I was able to figured it out on my own. No luck with the following problem though.
Here is the problem My printer works I can print from my Mac but not from my pc. It recognizes it and it says printing and the printer actually uses a page but it comes out clean/clear. I can print to this printer from my mac like I said but not from my pc. I have rebooted, restarted and deleted and installed the printer back again, but still nothing. I mean it works, it just doesn't print anything on the page. Just a blank page. The printer is connected to an airport express and it works and it has been restarted and everything. The printer was jump started too. It works great with my mac but my pc can not print to it. I have another printer connected to my airport extreme base and that one can be used by both my mac and my pc. It works just fine. So Why won't this other printer work with my pc but yes with my mac. Both printers are connected to the network through AEBS and AX through usb, Not directly to any computers. Both printers are HP photosmart allinone 2575 working just fine with both and HP 6210 officejet all in one printer working only with the mac. Remember it is responsive with my pc and it says printing and it actually grabs a page and prints it out blank. Oh and it does have ink, I have made sure.

I have used the website and attempted to add the printer manually. However, it still says "collecting printer status" under port 9100, or "printer offline" for port 9101. Do you have any other ideas? It works flawlessly on my wife's apple laptop.

MIGO GR Print Out

Dear Guru's,
I am facing problem while checking collective issue tick in MIGO via Display Material Document. When I click on collective issue message appears Output save and when I press enter it resets that check.
Wats the actual problem. We are not facing this earlier. GR document and Movement Type are same as earlier and we take print out through MB90 by doing same as above.
Also I have noticed that through MB02 material document contains that check (collective issue).
This is really strange. I did not understand what is the problem. Can any1 help?

This Problem can be overided by Maintaining the output messages in MN21
Enter the Following Data
Message type -- your Print Message type
transaction event key.--We good receipt ,WA --issue etc...
Print Version--Individual or collective
Print Item--.Material Document(1)
Partner Function -- VN
medium--Print (1)
DAte and time -- 4 (if you want immediately after Posting..
Lanuage EN.
KNow after double click on the item..or select the Item and click on the communication tab presnt at the top left hand corner.
and enter your printer details and check the print immediately option.

Collection iteration wierdness

Hey folks - I am having a wierd problem. If I am looping
through a collection with a filterFunction applied and am making
changes to the property values of the objects in the collection. If
the objects in the collection are bindable or otherwise dispatch
PropertyChangeEvent's then the collection executes the
filterFunction immediately. Normally this would be fine but after
the filterFunction runs, the object get moved to the end of the
collection. As you can imagine, re-ordering objects while trying to
iterate through them produces some strange results. I don't know if
this has made sense, but please look at my attached sample
application that demonstrates the problem. Can somebody give some
insight into why the objects are getting re-ordered?

Print history filter not working as expected

We have four HP LaserJet 400 M401dn printers which are used soley for ePrinting, within my organisation. This afternoon we noticed that emails generated by the cloud-hosted web application to which we subscribe, and sent to one of the four printers, were not printed. There are no signs of the emails within the print history i.e. HP Connected > Collections>| PRINTING.
In attempting to troubleshoot this, I manually sent an email to the printer, which printed out normally. However I noticed that the manual printout's print history entry is only visible in print history when the unfiltered 'All Printers' top-right dropdown is set. If I click the dropdown and set it to the printer email address to which I sent the message (and subsequently printed it), the print history is completely empty - no entries at all.
I suspect the original problem with printing from the web app is a transient one as I noticed the HP Connected message "We are currently offline for maintenance. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please check back soon." this morning, but I thought I'd point out the print history problem since I guess it may be a bug?
I'd be interested to know if other users have encountered this. The print history filter is extremely useful, but obviously it needs to work properly.
