College Deals coupons never arrived...

I registered for the college deals and verified my email address. but my coupons never showed up in my email... It has now been 6 days since i verifed my email address. I was hoping to purchase a new laptop since my current one has been giving me a lot of trouble. Summer classes are not over yet and I really need a new computer to complete my coursework. I am kind of disapointed since I called customer service and the only help they were able to provide was an email address that I could email to continue trying to get my coupons...

It’s nice to save money whenever possible, especially when in college. I certainly would have appreciated it having access to some awesome coupons while I was a student a few years ago, so it’s disappointing to hear of the obstacles you’re running into while trying to get your hands on some. It sounds like you are being led on a wild goose chase, so I’d be happy to step in to eliminate some of the frustration you’re undoubtedly feeling.
When signing up for our College Student Deals, one of two things should happen. Either your email address should automatically verified, or you should receive an email from our third party partner, SheerID, requesting additional information from you in hopes of verifying your account soon. After pulling up your Best Buy account using the email address attached to your forum profile, I see that you mention receiving an email from SheerID stating they successfully verified your eligibility to receive these coupons. As you should have received the coupons shortly after this, I’d suggest checking your spam/junk/promotions folders in case your email accidentally blocks marketing emails from Best Buy.
If you find yourself without those coupons after checking the aforementioned folders though, please forward the confirmation email you report receiving from SheerID to [email protected] with the subject line, “Attn: Alex”. I’d be happy to review your case and see what options we may have available to us at that time.

  • College Student coupon never received

    I purchased a Mac Book Pro for my granddaughter to start college.  I had planned to purchase it at the Apple Store but we took a chance that the Best Buy in Edwardsville, Il (an hour drive) would have the one she wanted.  We waited over half an hour in the store (with multiple attempts) to get the "College Student Deal" coupon without success.  We had to leave and I asked if we could purchase the computer and she could try to receive the coupon at home and bring it in for a credit. The clerk gave us two weeks.  She never received the coupon in her edu e-mail.  She confirmed her e-mail address with the school IT dept and they told her they think the problem is on Best Buy's end.   I have called Best Buy Customer Service  three times (with long waits and many transfers) without resolution to this problem.   I was told by one of the Customer Service representatives (in technical terms) that it may be being blocked and that she would never receive it.  I feel I have invested a great deal of time in trying to resolve this issue so yesterday, my day off, I went back to the Best Buy store to talk to a manager.  I was given instructions to go to this site for help.  Yet another diversion.  I am beyond frustrated at having spent so much time and effort on such a simple issue and am wondering if this is a method to discourage the customer.  When I purchased my oldest grandchild's Mac I did not encounter this problem - but I did not purchase it at Best Buy. Reading the other posts on this site I see that this is a common problem and wonder why.

    First of all, best of luck to your granddaughter as she starts college! It's definitely a big step, and making the transition from outlined curriculum to more self-guided study can prove to be a challenge.
    It sounds like you and your granddaughter have both tried a few different measures so far, so some additional research may be necessary to determine why she may not have received an acknowledgement message by now.   • College student coupons not received after 3 days of waiting

    I signed up in store on Sunday, 10/5/2014 to receive college student coupons. They have yet to arrive. I got the message to confirm my address, which I did. I have also since gotten some email spam from Best Buy, so I know that those messages aren't being held up by my university.
    I need assistance, please. I have signed up in the past for Best Buy college student coupons (different university, different address) and I didn't have any problem. Got the coupons right there in the store while I was waiting. 
    I had to go ahead and purchase the laptop that I needed and the store manager said I could return with the coupons to get a refund for the extra money I paid.
    I'm extremely frustrated with this. Your email spam is no problem and I'm aware of all your current sales, but the coupons mysteriously are unable to be sent? Come on.
    Any help here would be more than appreciated. I've been patient, but this is a bit ridiculous.

    Being that you needed to purchase this laptop in advance of receiving the coupons, I can completely understand you wanting to receive the coupons as soon as possible. I am looking into this for you, and as soon as I have more information I will post back to this thread. I am assuming the .edu email address used to request these coupons is the one you used to register for this forum?

  • Please Help!! Can not receive College student coupons emails for waiting a long time

    The College Student Deals program certainly has some great offers and I would do almost anything to get a good deal on an iPad! Sorry to hear you haven’t received an email with these coupons. I would like to help you take advantage of those deals!
    Using your email address you provided here on the forums, I was able to see that you received some assistance in this matter today. Is that correct? Please let me know if you still need help with this and I will gladly look into it for you further.
    In the meantime, you may try checking your Junk/Spam folders in your .edu email address if you haven’t done so already. Also, I recommend speaking to your school’s IT department to see if they have been blocking the emails altogether, as this has been known to happen by certain schools. I should be able to supply you with the email address they are sent from if you need it for reference.

  • No college deal confirmation email

    Due to recent changes to the College Student Deals program, current students don’t need to use .edu email addresses exclusively to register for the coupons. I would recommend trying a different – non .edu – email address. In the event you still don’t receive the confirmation email, please let me know and I can reach out to my support team for further research.

  • HELP!!!! My college discount coupon still hasn't come threw my email yet

    HELP!!! its been three days and still no coupon for the $100 off, i really needed a laptop asap so i went ahead and bought my macbook, unfortunately i missed out on the $100 off but the store manager was gracious enough to let me bring the receipt in when i get the email so he can adjust the price for me....

  • ICloud emails sent from apple mail or iPhone 3gs never arrives, works fine when sent from iCloud website

    The ony place I have been able to send and receive email since the launch of iCloud has been the icloud website. I wasn't able to send email from my iphone 3gs or apple mail at all until today, now it finally appears to let me send email but it never arrives to its destination.
    I can send an email from the icloud website without issue, and email sent from my icloud account using my iphone 3gs and apple mail seems to send fine and without error but who knows where it goes.
    Has anyone else experienced this issue?

    I figured out how to fix it... if anyone else has this problem, go to Outlook > Preferences > Accounts > select the IMAP account > Advanced > Folders and for "Store Sent Messages in this Folder:" select "Sent Messages (Server)."

  • I upgraded my wife's iMac to Mountain Lion. When I try to set up her cloud connection to sync with her iPad and iPhone, it says it is sending a verification email, but it never arrives. Any way around this. Her phone and iPad seem to already be in sync .

    When I try to set up my wife's Cloud account after upgrading to Mountain Lion, I click on the "send verification email" box, but the email never arrives. Her iPad and iPhone already seem to sync up in the Cloud, but no storage is being used. Any suggestions on how to get the account on her iMac?

  • Emails never arrive to BT inbox

    Sorry in advance as this may be a bit long winded, a couple of weeks ago one of my clients who is with BT and has a BT email address phoned to ask why I had not emailed him as promised.  I had, so sent it again but it didn't arrive, tried with a different email account still the same so tried a hotmail account and still the same.  All these emails where being sent from Apple mail running 10.9 so tried from my iPad, iPhone still no joy.  Sent one from Outlook 2011 on the same computer and same internet connection so same external IP address which is my own personal account not my work one and it arrived.
    My brother is with BT so started doing some testing and at 1st it appeared that an email sent from any account from any version of Apple mail never arrives.  I tried several computers running various versions of Mac OS, tried iPads and Iphones.   I then set the same work account up in Outlook and it arrived so I started thinking it was an Apple mail issue.
    So I configured the work email in Outlook with my work signature and all of a sudden the mails stopped arriving to any BT address.  More testing and it seems that with any email account with any type of signature sent to any BT email address my mails never arrive but remove the signature from outlook or Apple Mail and they arrive.  It is only BT clients having this issue everyone else seems to be getting my emails.
    We checked the spam folders etc. and no sign of my email, if I enter my email address in the safe senders in webmail then they arrive but I can't ask every client with BT to do this.
    It all used to work fine but this has suddenly started to happen, I have spent ages working out why the emails don't arrive.  I get no bounce back message, no error message and if other people are copied in they get the email just BT users don't.
    I have tried a plain text signature but get the same result, I have tried pasting a signature in at the end and get the same result.  I am baffled.

    BT's new email partner Openwave/Critical Path seem to be overly agressive with their anti-spam measures. There's not much anybody here can do to remedy that unfortunately except keep complaining and hope that something eventually gets done.

    Go to the main Apple site, and use the drop down menu at the bottom of the page to change the country to the one you are currently residing in. Then click "Contact Us" and you should find a number to call.
    Out of curiosity, how long did you wait? It took mine forever to reach me-maybe a month and a half.

  • ICloud Keychain verification code never arrives

    I erased all content and settings from my iPad and I was using iCloud Keychain for saving passwords.
    I have a dumb cell phone that works fine and receives SMS messages.
    I have tried at least 4 times to Restore Passwords Stored in iCloud Keychain with "Restore with Using Security Code".
    The security code never arrives.
    My cel phone is in Panama.

    I know that it can be very frustrating when you are not receiving your iCloud verification code via text message. There are some steps that I would suggest in this situation. Please refer to the attached article for assistance troubleshooting this situation.

    My HSBC bank account was charger TWICE the 7th May, 8.50 and 8.69 pounds, because of the rates varied from € to £ and the amount has never arrived to my Skype account. Where is it and how can I get it back? Dumb auto-recharge is now disabled and my account had about 6£ when it autocharged my bank account.

    For a new key:
    Request key codes for new orders via SAP Marketplace (SMP), will receive a download letter on new purchases providing them with their SMP login credentials. Using these credentials you can login and click in the "Keys & Requests" tab > Request a License key.
    If your Key code does not work
    You need create a customer message https://websmp107.sap-ag.de/message using component XX-SER-LIKEY-BOJ.

  • HT4436 when i try to set up icloud, i am asked to give and email account, which i do; icloud then says that an email has been sent to that account and that i should consult this email to continue. The email never arrives in the in-box of the account i gav

    when i try to set up icloud on my iphone 4S, i am asked for an email account, which i supply. icloud then saya to check my email for further instructions. The problem is, the email never arrives in my mailbox. Now my phone says "check email" and lists the proper email account that i supplied while trying to set up icloud, however, it is all 'grayed' out and no touch screen action can be performed.

    Check your Mail rules and filtering, the verification mail may be going to a junk folder or even being deleted altogether.

  • Gift certificate with email notification never arrived

    I purchased a gift certificate for my nephew and chose to have him notified by email. Unfortunately, his notification never arrived. I have tried to contact Apple, but thus far have not penetrated past the computer voice on the phone or the automated support online which does not help. The purchase does not show up under my order history. Does that mean it was never made? Or has my credit card been charged even though there is no record of the purchase in the history?     Sorry, but you cannot give iTunes gifts, whether via gift certificate or a prepaid card, to someone outside of the US. Gifts purchased in the US are valid only in the US iTunes Store which cannot be used outside of the country. If you find that you have been charged for the gift, the easiest thing to do will be to resend the gift, this time choosing someone in the US. Otherwise, you can contact the iTunes Store and ask if they will grant a refund.
    I have tried to contact Apple, but thus far have not penetrated past the computer voice on the phone or the automated support online which does not help.
    Just for future reference, the iTunes Store has no telephone support. They can be contacted only by using the form on their Support page (select the category and subcategory closest to the issue you're reporting and you'll find either an "Express Lane" button - just follow the instructions to get to the contact form - or an "Email Us" button)
