Color bleeding on screen

I often had the same problem with the computer going to sleep and the monitor not waking up. I have since gone to just shutting the monitor off at night. However, I am now finding an area in the upper right of the screen where the color looks darker than the rest of the screen. Kind of like a wall would look if someone dripped water down it. Could this just be the graphics card? I have called Mac support several times and I never get a straight answer from anyone. Any suggestions?

Try this:
Make sure IOS is updated to latest version
Reboot device by pressing both the home button and sleep/wake (power) buttons at the same time for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
If that doesn't work then reset the device by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings
(no media or data will be deleted from the device, this will only take a minute).
If that doesn't work then backup and then restore the device as new.

As i understand, in your scree u have taken "pushbutton" instead of taking "I/O field"
So make ur fields to "I/O fields"

How to change the color of SAP screen?

Hi Frens,
I know it has nothing to do with SD Community, but still I am asking. Can anyone tell me "How to change the color of SAP screen?" It is needed especially when you are working on System Landscape including PRD, Qua & Dev. There are chances that you end up making a test case in PRD instead of Dev or Qua. To avoid that, different color of SAP screen may be very useful and safe.

We had a clone of SAP for testing
Only GUIXT solution was available for users to distinguish between real Prod & Clone as SID was same
Created 2 scripts n C:\guixt\scripts

BOTH having identical code

After much research - this was only solution.
GUIXT will be around; like SAPSCRIPT & SMARTFORMS
despite the enticement of Adobe Forms!
After some time you may set GUIXT profile start window HIDDEN
This you do by clicking profile button of GUIXT menu
If you want to see GUIXT Window again

How do you make the color bleed over the margins for a cover

Hello,
We currently do our covers in InDesign but want to move them into our FrameMaker book file. There is a block of color at the top of the cover that we want to go to the edge of the cover. How do you set it up so that the color bleeds about 1/8" past the edge of the paper so that the printer can properly cut the cover without any white on the edges?
It's an 8-1/2 x 11 book, created with Frame 9 on a Windows XP Professional.

How are you creating the PDF and which version (including point release) of FM are you using?
To create bleeds, you were on the right track positioning the graphic off the page by a negative amount. However, you don't increase the size of the page in your FM layout, you output to a larger sheet size (i.e. pick this in your AdobePDF printer setup or the Page Size in your SaveAsPDF options ). Unfortunately, you won't be able to preview this in FM. Look to your PDF to see what's going on. Note: SaveAsPDF *always* applies a crop value equal the FM defined page-size layout; in Acrobat for PDFs created via the SaveAsPDF route, you have to turn off the crop to see the entire media box with the bleed values.
If you're using FM10, make sure that you're patched to the latest 10.0.2p419 version. This is the only version that makes reasonable CMYK PDFs for print production, all prior FM10 & FM9 versions are quite buggy (for CMYK) and are not recommended for the CMYK route (you have to use the Convert CMYK to RGB option in this case and fix up in Acrobat or with third-party tools like the Enfocus PitStopPro plug-in for Acrobat).

Mini display color bleeds

New mac mini with Mountain lion shows color bleeding on display - that is, text which should be black and white shows random colors on some letters. Same monitor used with older mini was fine. Could it be the graphics card? or the hdmi to hdmi connector?? Older mini used hdmi to vga adapter.

Create a new user, log out your current user and log in as the new. It colors are displayed correctly, then I guess you could go into the other user's library and delete the offending file.
Moral of the story: To clean your keyboard, do disconect it first... ;-)

Colors changes on screen

OK guys I have a question? I just started to notice that I every time I press the menu key or even the a green phone key there are waves of color on the screen. Its almost like putting your finger on a plasma screen and watching the colors change.
but it only wants to do it when on certain times, not all the time!
what can I do to prevent from a major problem?

sounds like it could be a display issue
try removing the battery with power on and then replace... wait for reboot

Numbers of colors on the screen? Zen vs. Vision

I am thinking about getting either a Zen or Zen vision M player. I can see that the Zen has 6m colors on the screen and the Vision "only" has 262k colors can I see the difference?

Well, the difference IS significant when viewing pictures, as well as videos. It's like setting your TV color setting to 30% (Zen V M) and then to 00% (Zen).
The ZEN is a huge improvement, as I have both the Zen and ZVM

I am trying to use Adobe Color and the screen won't load. All I get is the 4 spinning squares in the center of the screen. I Am using a Mac. Any help would be much appreciated.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Go to Settings>Store and sign out and sign back in.
- Reset all settings

Photoshop CS6 selection, shape, and text is causing colored artifacts on screen

The Photoshop CS6 (13.0.4) selection, text, and shape tool causes colored artifacts on screen. I'm running on a retina Macbook Pro updated to the latest ML release. I have disabled GPU acceleration. I have also tried starting Photoshop with no plugins but this does not help.

SOLVED. After two days of intense debugging I've identified the issue as an interaction between the ICC color profile, integrated GPU, and Photoshop. The ICC profile was created with an i1Display Pro using the i1Profiler software. The issue occurs when you create the color profile using the LUT setting. Creating a profile using the matrix setting seems to be ok. In summary, these are the specific conditions that cause the issue (for me):
1) Using a color profile created with the LUT setting with i1Profiler and i1Display Pro
2) Using the integrated GPU (discrete GPU is disabled in Photoshop Performance setting)
3) Running on Photoshop 13.0.4 (13.0+ all have the issue) on a 15" Macbook Pro with Retina display
Creating a new profile with the matrix setting OR enabling the discrete Nvidia GPU will also make the artifacts go away. The integrated GPU using the LUT based color profile does not seem to have any artifacts in any other photography and video editing software that I've tried so Photoshop is playing a role. The nature of the artifacts also change from Photoshop version 13.0 to 13.0.4. For example, in Photoshop 13.0 the Marquee Tool has no issues while 13.0.1+ has artifacts.

Background Color Bleed-through in Safari 8.0

Ever since upgrading to Yosemite and the new Safari, the desktop wallpaper color bleeds through the bookmarks area. It looks like a small degree of translucency. For a redesign of software that was suppose to be "clean" looking, this is very distracting and makes it look really ugly. Is there any way to prevent this, maybe a preference I may be over-looking?

Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Cache. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
If that doesn't work, reset the iPad. Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Last thing to try is quit the app and restart the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit Safari by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on the Safari icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
