Color/ brightness shift within Apple Pic and video programs..
OK.. here is my issue. For all photo / video editing applications (iMovie, iPhoto, Aperature, Final Cut Pro x) just as I open these apps the color/ brightness shifts within the WHOLE OS. I can open lightroom 4 and nothing happens, its apple photo/ video apps only. The second I close the apps my wallpaper, dock, ect. goes back to what it was before I opened the app. The effect is a slight blue tint ( cooler ) and slightly brightened. It is EXTREAMLY annoying. I am not using any calibrated color profile, I am on the standard color LCD profile.
Just incase it needs to be clarified:
-turn on MBP
-get in OS with one color profile ( standard color LCD profile active )
-open aperature and display gets blue tint and slightly brightter ( can minimize app and everything is effected by color / brightness shift )
-close app... back to normal LCD color profile.
Now I have come across this issue in the past (over 6 months ago) messed around with color profile settings ( in the end put everything back to default ) and out of no where, problem went away. After Doing a SSD swap and restoring my OS with time machine, the issue is back... And I just cant get it to go away again.
Its like these apple applications load up a different color profile as they open, and once they care closed, it knows to put the other back on. Its so fustrating, I can not edit my photos like this.
Has anyone come accross this issue?
if so... any fix for this?
All my apps and OS is up to date.

Ok after further research i found:
this happens with certian apple apps (iphoto, aperture 3 and FCPX so far) on my 2010 macbook pro 15" running ML 10.8.2
It does not happen on my girlfriend's 2011 13" MBP running ML 10.8.2
It does not happen on my mac desktop running ML 10.8.2
all have ssd's

Downloading previously purchsed music from iCloud is based on your iTunes ID, not your iCloud ID. (It uses "iTunes in the Cloud", which has nothing to do with your iCloud account, just your iTunes ID.)

Try resetting the iPod.
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Next would be to sync with yur computer
After that would be to restore from backup
Last would be to restore to factory defaults/new iPod. -

I got the message copied below in iTunes but I still need to keep my pics and videos. Passcode has been wrongly entered 100 times by my little chiled. Is it possible to still keep the data?

Have ipad 4 and would like to save my pics and videos of my grandchildren . How can this be done and if so how can I do it.please explain in easy format as this is all new to me. I have taken so many of these that I cannot take any more.
Thanks JimIt's really a very simple process and the long and short of it is that you connect your iPad to your computer with the cable, and launch whatever app you would use to import photos from a camera card. The detailed instructions are here.

I recently had to swap out my iphone 4s and I am having problems restoring photos and videos from icloud. When I restored my phone from icloud, half of my pics and videos have been deleted, the pics that were restored on my phone are very blurry, and the videos won't play. I get a message on my phone that says " the URL you are requesting is not found on this server". I have erased and reset my phone twice, but every time I do it, more pics and videos are deleted. I have backed up to icloud and iphoto, however, some of the pics are no longer on iphoto either. Is there someway to get the videos to play on my phone again? Make the photos not as blurry as they are now and to restore the pics and videos that have been lost? I really would love to have them back, this phone is supposed to be the best and right now it doesn't seem to be. Please help if you can.
I too have noticed that once i restored from iCloud. Pictures blurry and videos wont play!

The password is set on the WiFi router providing the service, by the owner of the network to prevent unwanted "guests" accessing the network. The only way to know it is to ask the owner permission to use the network. Otherwise, you have to find a free WiFi hotspot that doesn't require a password.

How can I transfer video taken with my iPhone to my iPad WITHOUT using a computer or iTunes? I'm going to Europe for a month and want to use my iPhone to take pics and video, then come back to the hotel room and use my iPad to edit/store each evening. I don't want to use my iPad to take the video...too large/bulky. And I WON'T have a computer with me...I purchased the iPad to take with me so I could use the RDC to my home computer and avoid taking my computer at all. Is this possible?
here is a cheaper solution than camera kit and a lot easier if you have WIFI available.
I use the PhotoSync APP (I think its a $1.99) will transfer videos and photos over WIFI to any other IOS device or even PC/MAC. Great app since I like doing video and photos on my IPHONE and transfer to IPAD2 without synching through computer or doing cloud based storage.
You can even send photos/videos from your MAC/PC to your IOS devices that way too. Makes it so much easier.

iPhone 6 will not sync music. This has become a problem since using itunes 12. It also will not sync all my pics and video's with my iPad 4 either. Removed and re-installed iTunes with no improvement. It stops at last step saying waiting for items to copy and just sits there. The iPad finish the sync, but some video's are missing.

My Ipod, keeps on saying very low battery then restarting.Then turning bright with the apple logo and going back to very low battery again. HELP PLEASE.. I have plugged it in for 2 hours now.

Pic and video from camcorder to iphone????
i have a HUD hard disk drive JVC camcorder made by Everio. It syncs directly to my pc using USB. I was wondering is there any way to transfer pic and video from my camcorder to my iphone either direct from camera or from the sync center on my pc for the camera.
There isn't a way to sync directly to the iPhone from your camcorder.
Once you get the pics/movies to your computer, though, it is possible. The movies need to be imported into iTunes and then synced to the phone. As for the pictures, you need to consolidate them into one folder and then from the Photos tab in iTunes (when you click on the iPhone icon on the left menu bar) you select the folder those photos are in to sync to the phone. -

my pics and videos do not appear in the video browser? How do I get it back. I may have denied IMovie access to my pics and videos when opening the app for the first time.
I have the same issue (iPad 3, iOS 6). I have tried to:
-erase all projects on the iMovie
-reset the iPad
-uninstall iMovie and reinstall it
None of these three things worked and I am at lost in terms of what else can be done.
All that happens when I start a new project is that under "videos" there is a big black box (empty videos). Same thing for pictures. When I press the camera button to insert a video from the camera, this works no problem. However, I used to be able to insert videos/pictures from my Camera Roll.
