Color "Jumping" on screen

I've recently purchased an Insignia 42" 1080p 120hz  LCD HDTV.  The problem I am encountering is the color red!  Anything on screen that is the color red "jumps" or bounces, and is quite irritating.  Any suggestions as to how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated!  Thank you!

Thank you both for responding so quickly!
I have the TV connected by HDMI cable.  It's connected through a SCIENTIFIC ATLANTA HDTV CABLE Box from TimeWarner Cable (Model: EXPLORER 8300 HDC).
The model # for the 42 " Insignia HDTV is: NS-L42Q120-10A.
I have gone to the menu for the TV, and there doesn't seem to be individual color choices.  There are choices for color schemes (ie, Custom; Sports; Theatre; Energy Saver; Vivid ...).  I've got mine set on "CUSTOM" and in that mode the "color" choice is set at 55.
What I mean by "jumping" is that everything on the screen seems normal except for items in red.  These items appear to "flutter" rapidly, up and down.  For example, if someone on screen is wearing a red shirt, their shirt seems to be "alive" and will rapidly move up and down, or flutter.  Also, if there is an object in the background, like a vase in a table, it will also seem to be alive, and flutter up and down rapidly.  It does not appear to be a pixle issue, but I'm not real tech savvy!
Thanks again for any assistance,  your help is greatly appreciated!

  • Spry Menu Bar jumps off screen-right in CS6

Frustrating little glitch I'm experiencing.  When in a NON-LIVE mode in CS6, I have a Spry Menu Bar that I've placed, customized and is functioning properly.  It is precisely in the right location in BOTH live mode and in a browser preview, however, when I am editing the site the menu bar jumps off screen right to where I have to scroll right to locate it.  The only thing that pops it back in to place is by tweaking a setting like "Float" from right to left then back to right.  But once I begin to edit the site again it will jump off the screen.  This isn't a massive deal since it remains in place in live and preview modes, it's just annoying for layout purposes while I'm editing.  It sort of screws up the aesthetic of the layout.  Has anyone found the same problem?  Below is my layout.css and my Spry Menu css.

  • How to change the background color of a screen field

    Hi All,
I have created a screen, in the output, the fields in the screen are having same color with the screen.
My client want the fields to be in the gray color.
    For more clarification,
Goto SE11, Enter any table name, Click on display
In the next screen, observe the fields
Name, Short text, Last changed, Status are in the same color with the screen. Where as their values...
MARA, Material Master: General Data, etc are in the screen with gray background, I want in that way.
    Any hint...
    Thanks,
    Kal Chand

    hi
As i understand, in your scree u have taken "pushbutton" instead of taking  "I/O field"
So make ur fields to "I/O fields"
    Reward if it is helpful.

  • How to change the color of SAP screen?

    Hi Frens,
I know it has nothing to do with SD Community, but still I am asking. Can anyone tell me "How to change the color of SAP screen?" It is needed especially when you are working on System Landscape including PRD, Qua & Dev. There are chances that you end up making a test case in PRD instead of Dev or Qua. To avoid that, different color of SAP screen may be very useful and safe.
    Regards
    Vikas Chhabra
    SD/CIN Consultant

We had a clone of SAP for testing
Only GUIXT solution was available for users to distinguish between real Prod & Clone as SID was same
    Created 2 scripts n C:\guixt\scripts
    saplsmtr_navigation.e0100.txt
    Esession.txt
    BOTH having identical code
    if V[_ashost=10.3.3.18]
      TitlePrefix "CLONE18"
      TitleSuffix "(CLONE8)"
    endif
    if V[_ashost=10.3.3.25]
      TitlePrefix "PROD25"
      TitleSuffix "(PROD25)"
    endif
After much research - this was only solution.
GUIXT will be around; like SAPSCRIPT & SMARTFORMS
despite the enticement of Adobe Forms!
After some time you may set GUIXT profile start window HIDDEN
This you do by clicking profile button of GUIXT menu
If you want to see GUIXT Window again
    CMD.exe Dos prompt
    cd C:\Program Files\SAP\FrontEnd\SAPgui
    guixt visible

what can I do to prevent from a major problem?

sounds like it could be a display issue

  • Numbers of colors on the screen? Zen vs. Vision

    Hi
I am thinking about getting either a Zen or Zen vision M player. I can see that the Zen has 6m colors on the screen and the Vision "only" has 262k colors can I see the difference?
    thanks for your help?
    Anders Lindhj

Well, the difference IS significant when viewing pictures, as well as videos. It's like setting your TV color setting to 30% (Zen V M) and then to 00% (Zen).
The ZEN is a huge improvement, as I have both the Zen and ZVM

  • Photoshop CS6 selection, shape, and text is causing colored artifacts on screen

The Photoshop CS6 (13.0.4) selection, text, and shape tool causes colored artifacts on screen. I'm running on a retina Macbook Pro updated to the latest ML release. I have disabled GPU acceleration. I have also tried starting Photoshop with no plugins but this does not help.
I have created a video which shows the phenomena
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VG5ayC3WmKA

SOLVED. After two days of intense debugging I've identified the issue as an interaction between the ICC color profile, integrated GPU, and Photoshop. The ICC profile was created with an i1Display Pro using the i1Profiler software. The issue occurs when you create the color profile using the LUT setting. Creating a profile using the matrix setting seems to be ok. In summary, these are the specific conditions that cause the issue (for me):
    1) Using a color profile created with the LUT setting with i1Profiler and i1Display Pro
    2) Using the integrated GPU (discrete GPU is disabled in Photoshop Performance setting)
    3) Running on Photoshop 13.0.4 (13.0+ all have the issue) on a 15" Macbook Pro with Retina display
Creating a new profile with the matrix setting OR enabling the discrete Nvidia GPU will also make the artifacts go away. The integrated GPU using the LUT based color profile does not seem to have any artifacts in any other photography and video editing software that I've tried so Photoshop is playing a role. The nature of the artifacts also change from Photoshop version 13.0 to 13.0.4. For example, in Photoshop 13.0 the Marquee Tool has no issues while 13.0.1+ has artifacts.

Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Cache. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
If that doesn't work, reset the iPad. Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Last thing to try is quit the app and restart the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit Safari by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on the Safari icon until it begins to wiggle. The white colors in my screen are to bright. There is no difference between different colors of white so I lose a lot of detail in images. What can I do. When I put my mac to sleep it was ok for a while but when I restarted my computer I lost it again.

    A should be 255
    Z should be 0
